SATURDAY AT CABIN PANGUITCH LAKE / OFF ROADING IN JEEP

Drove around the lake, walked the dogs. As we were leaving, we ran into Dean from Mesquite. He was just standing by his truck and fishing. We talked to him for a while.Shocked to see somebody we knew so far from Mesquite.

Saw a car wash on the side of the lake. We decided to use it later. Then saw a HUGE HOME with meadow and outbuildings with horse barn. VERY EXPENSIVE.

Saw a BEAVER cross the road.

Returned to the cabin.

We were bored at the cabin, sitting on the camp chairs at the side of the cabin. Hubby wanted to go 4-Wheeling with the Jeep. So we loaded dogs up in the Jeep and drove to Burger Barn. Lots of UTVs stopping to get burgers. Hubby went to order burgers for us at NOON. I waited in the Jeep with the dogs.

We went 4-Wheeling up Pass Creek Road and found a place to pull over. Both dogs pooped - still really good tootsie roll type poo. Then we had our burgers in the shade of a tree. Nothing to sit on-no table to set up. Hubby said there is a table that can be put on the back of the Jeep door. 

We continued our 4-Wheeling into the Forest Roads. Saw a water tank that we came back and circled 3 times. 

Saw lots of deer in the meadows. Lots of mountain ranges.

We got done off-roading about 2:14PM and drove back to the Cabin.

We got back from off-roading in the Jeep and I was exhausted. I was going to take a nap for a while then take a shower, but I slept on the twin bed and was out for the next 2 hours. Hubby had a nap in the chair at the table, then went into the bedroom to sleep. Tater napped beside me on the other twin bed. Wilson napped on the floor beside Hubby with the fan blowing on his belly.

We woke up and had some more hamburgers. Gave the dogs some beef jerky.

Went outside to sit on the camp chairs. I fed the chipmonks and a little grey mouse some graham crackers, peanuts, bread, and oatmeal/honey protein bars. A very pretty blue bird flew thru our camp and then picked up some of the bread and nuts I had put out.

 

 

At 8:38PM, Hubby started the fire. We sat out there until 9:30PM, roasted marshmallows for s'mores then went to bed. Dogs were nervous and went to bed about 9PM.
