8-30-2022

 

 

Up at 6:30AM when I heard Hubby moving dishes in the kitchen. He had already been up since 5AM and opened the front door so Robert could look outside. Hubby was making breakfast eggs for the dogs.

 

Hubby had already taken out the two garbage bags that I had gathered late last night. 

 

I got up and made lattes. But we were going in to the Mesa View Medical to get our blood drawn and could not eat/drink anything.

 

I transferred $ from Quickbooks to Bank.

 

We sat watching morning News on TV until I verified that they opened at 8AM. 

 

When getting the truck, I took the garbage can back to the area behind the fence.

 

We drove down to Mesa View Medical in the Dually, but they don't do blood draws at the Clinic anymore. They do it at the hospital. But I had forgotten my medical card, so we had to go back home. Try again tomorrow?

 

At home, Hubby did cat litter and then Tater & Hubby went to work in the Dually.

 

I put away clean dishes. Put dirty dishes in dishwasher. Started laundry. Put away clean laundry. Picked up dog poo outside. Put food & water out for birds. 

 

 I did bookwork all day.

 

I put away clean clothes. I put away clean dishes. I vacuumed.

Went to get the mail. 

Hubby & Tater got home at 4PM. 

We changed clothes and went to swim at the pool.

After getting done with swimming at 6PM, we rode our bikes home again.

Hubby made dinner for himself. I had chicken.

We watched TV until time for bed at 10PM.

MONDAY / 41ST ANNIVERSARY / NORM'S FUNERAL

I got up at 6:35AM. Made the bed. 

Hubby was taking a shower. 

I went to the kitchen to make lattes.

Made the deposit to the Bank.

Sat down with Hubby to watch Morning News for a while.

Then I did more bookwork.

Hubby removed my old nail polish. I painted my toes with brown/sparkly. Trimmed my nails.

I went out in the backyard and put out water & bird seed for the birds.

Hubby left at 8:35AM. Tater stayed home with me.

I got the info done for the 941X that the IRS wanted FAXXED to them again. What a bunch of B.S. when PPP loans were handed out like candy. No oversight at all.

I got changed and put on makeup by 10:30AM.

Hubby got home at 11PM. A lot of scared, white, old men that were frightened of death. You could see it in their eyes and hear it in their voices. Wrapping their arms around their precious religion to cling for eternal life. NOBODY LIVES FOREVER. We are born. We die. Accept that. All we have is what we have here.

Stopped at UPS Store to fax the 33 pages of documents for Employee Retention Tax Credit. It took a LONG time so Hubby & I went over to the Mexican restaurant next door (some bitch sitting out front of the door SMOKING) the inside of the restaurant smelled like smoke, so we went in the far back booth. I got a Strawberry margarita and Hubby got the special - a Chavelada. We also had a bowl of chips with salsa and I was starving. Should NOT have eaten them as it was an overload of carbs on my system.

 

 

CHAVELADA BEER

After we paid for and got the receipt for our fax, we picked up groceries at Walmart. I took off my shoes midway thru the store as the shoes were hurting my feet.

 

We then went home and unloaded groceries. We watched TV for a while. I changed clothes right away. My black jeans felt awful and the shoes I had worn were KILLING my feet.

 

Left at  5:30PM to go for dinner. Left the dogs home again. Poor puppies. Tater needs the dog park for running.

Arrived at 6PM our table in the back. We had Ruben for our waiter. He is great. Talked with him for a while. He got his house finished in Bunkerville and is going to sell it now for a profit.

We ordered Shrimp cocktail (6" SHRIMP), and I got French Onion Soup. Then we both got drinks. Kahlua/Cream for me and Margarita for Hubby. We both ordered the "Special" which was Prime Rib with bacon-wrapped scallops. But the scallops were rubbery. The bacon was raw on the inside. The Prime Rib was RAW. Gross. Hubby's was cooked well done. But I was grossed out and quit eating.

We paid (Hubby put the $100 tip & the credit card in the tray, so staff were confused)and left shortly after. 

Drove home. We watched TV - 30 Rock. Hubby was really sick. He put a cold, wet washcloth on his forehead and sat on the sofa until we went to bed at 10PM.

Hubby got up at 6AM. I wanted to sleep in late. Dogs got off the bed and Hubby let them out for potty. 

 

Hubby got up and made breakfast eggs for dogs. 

 

I slept until 8:30AM. 

I got up and made lattes in the kitchen. 

I put away breakfast dishes and started dishwasher.

I put away clean laundry. I put out water & bird seed for birds. 

 

I put garbage outside. 

I vacuumed.

Hubby sat on the sofa with his bad knees and watched How To Murder Your Wife. He remembered watching this as a little kid and seeing the Gloppa Gloppa Machine (the concrete mixer). 

Took the dogs to the park tonight at 8:30PM. Tater was so damned happy to run and run and run. Some guy was throwing a ball for his dog & Tater ran with them.

We stopped at Walmart. Hubby went inside for milk, cantaloupe, tomatoes. 

Unloaded groceries at home. Tater slept for the rest of the night.

Up at 2AM to let Tater outside for potty. Then back to bed & sleep.

 

Hubby had been up at 5:30AM to potty and let dogs out for potty.

Wilson would not come to the bed for me to lift him up, but he kept whining. 

Finally, at 8AM, I got up to let the dogs out. 

I made lattes in the kitchen. Hubby got up and made breakfast eggs for dogs. 

I put away clean laundry. I put out water & bird seed for birds. 

I did bookwork most of the day.

Hubby put his leg up and watched automotive shows on TV.

I went to get mail at 3PM.

 Up at 6AM. 

I made lattes. Hubby made breakfast eggs for the dogs & fed them.

I put out water & bird seed for birds. Hubby cleaned cat litter. I put away clean clothes. I put away dishes. Cleaned up breakfast dishes and put more dirty dishes in dishwasher.

Hubby left at 8:40AM for the shop. He wanted to hang around this morning.

Tater stayed home with me. 

I wasn't feeling great, so I sat and watched TV for a while. I took a nap. Let the dogs in and out. 

At 2PM, I got ready to get my nails done. I left at 2:30 for GS Nails. Andy did more white/pink/blue ombre nails for me. He had changed his chairs & tables around to face the other way.

I got done at 3:30 and left. Went to the shop and said "Hi" to the guys. 

I left at 4PM. Told Hubby that some guy named Ted had come today to submit a petition. He was supposed to return at 4PM but did not.

Hubby took Casey home. I drove home.

We got ready to go swimming at 5PM. Rode our bikes over to the Community Center. Left the dogs at home.

On the return trip home, Hubby fell off his motorbike by hitting the handle bars on the posts by the golf cart parking. I helped him get up. Some couple walking into the Community Center saw him fall.

We rode home. Cleaned his leg and put antibiotics and bandage on his leg.

We binge watched ARCHER the last two season on TV for the rest of the night.

Up at 6:45AM. I could have slept 2 more hours...

Hubby was in the kitchen making egg breakfast for the dogs. He fed them. 

I got dressed & made the bed. In the kitchen, I made lattes. 

I put away clean clothes. 

 

I took everything off the counters in the bathroom because YOGI Window Cleaning is coming at Noon and it needs to be cleaned. 

I went out to pick up dog poo, put out bird seed for birds, and put fresh water in the (new) bird bath. 

Hubby & Tater left at 8:30AM. Hubby did not want to go for breakfast today. 

I found that Hubby had not done the cat litter, so he returned and dumped it. They left again.

I did bookwork.

YOGI came to clean windows, but he said it might rain tonight, so we re-scheduled. 

Hubby & Tater got home at 3:15PM. Hubby quickly ate a sandwich as he was getting dizzy.

Gave snacks to the dogs. Let the dogs out for potty.

Then we left the dogs at home. Went to get IV Infusions. Both Theresa & Rodney were there. 

Got done and drove over to get the FMF washed at the new car wash for free (last day for Free Car Wash) but there were over 10 cars in line and we had to get home for Bunco.

Changed my clothes at home. Let the dogs outside for potty. Gave them snacks.

We drove to Bunco in the FMF. Hubby got a phone call mid-way to pick up parts. When he got back, he was sick so he sat in the Library until Bunco was done. I checked on him to make sure he was OK.

Nice luncheon buffet. Nasty women playing Bunco made fun of some woman at the next table. I thought it was highly rude.

 

I was the Winner of $37 for being the biggest Winner with 18 Games! OMG. 

 

During the last hour of the game, it got dark, windy, and stormy outside.

 

We were done and I left. Met Hubby as he was coming out of the bathroom.

 

At home, we started to watch TV but I was outside and it was nice. In the mid 80sF and the wind was blowing. So we sat on the patio for over an hour. We both fell asleep.

 

Finally came inside. Watched 1 TV show and went to bed.

I got the passport applications, paperwork, checks, and passports ready for Hubby to mail today.

Hubby & Tater left at 8:30AM for the Shop.

I did bookwork.

I put away clean dishes. I cleaned up breakfast dishes & put in dishwasher.

I put clothes in dryer.

Rain started at 9AM and continued.

Up at 7AM.

I made lattes. 

I let the dogs outside.

Hubby & I made the bed. 

 

I picked up dog poo. I put water in birdbath. I put out bird seed for birds.

Hubby made breakfast for dogs & fed them.

We watched morning news on TV.

I got the passport applications, paperwork, checks, and passports ready for Hubby to mail today.

Hubby left at 8:30AM for the Shop.

 

Tater stayed home with me today.

I did bookwork.

I put away clean dishes. I cleaned up breakfast dishes & put in dishwasher.

I put clothes in dryer.

I did bookwork. 

At 3:00PM,  I texted Hubby to ask if he was going to IV Infusions. He came home to get me. 

We left dogs at home and drove to IV Infusions. I took all the pumpkins. We were the only ones there getting infusions.

Rodney came and said HI as we were getting finished.

I used restroom. Hubby used restroom. Toilet backed up thru the drain. Hubby told Rodney.

We paid & left.

Drove to Danielle's Chocolates and got Boston Baked Beans, Chocolate Covered Espresso Beans, Chocolate Covered , Danielle's Popcorn, and Kettle Corn.

Drove home. 

Chris K came over. He had to get stuff for his Birth Certificate. I said that I was not a notary and could not notarize his documents.

So we laid down on the master bed and we put the NormaTec Compression arms on Chris because he was having pain in his arm.

Chris finished after 30 minutes. We gave him some marijuana gummies & some Danielle's popcorn we had bought him.

Chris left. Hubby & I watched TV.

Went to bed at 11PM.

I got up at 7:30AM. I wanted to sleep late.

Made the bed and dressed.

Went to the kitchen to make lattes.

Hubby had already put the garbage can outside ready for pick up. 

Hubby had already made breakfast for the dogs & let them out for potty.

 The front door was open and Robert was watching the world thru it.

 Hubby dressed & I put his dirty clothes in the washer.

 Put away clean dishes. 

 Hubby & I watched morning news. 

 Hubby changed cat litter. 

 I picked up dog poo, put water out for birdbath, and put out bird seed. I walked out front to put dog poo bags in the garbage can before collection.

 Some kind neighbor brought our garbage can inside for us.

 Hubby & Tater left for the store at 8:30AM.

 I watched TV until 11AM.

 Then I worked on bookwork.

 I put away clean clothes. I put away clean dishes. 

 I was finished with bookwork at 2PM.

Hubby and I went shopping at Walmart. There was almost nobody there, it was so early in the morning.

We picked up milk, beer for Chris's birthday today. 

 

Drove home and unloaded groceries.

 

 Tater went to work with Hubby at 8:30AM.

We decided against swimming at 5PM because there were dark clouds in the sky.

Tater & Wilson went outside as the temperature dropped to 80 degrees F.

I slept late until 8AM. Hubby was already up and watching TV on the sofa. He let the dogs out.

 

I got dressed and made lattes in the kitchen. Hubby made breakfast eggs for the dogs. 

 

We watched morning news.

 

I put dishes in dishwasher. 

 

We changed sheets on the bed. I put the dirty ones in the washing machine & started it. Washed clothes and put in dryer. Hubby put clothes away.

 

I put clean water out for dogs on the patio. I picked up dog poo. I put fresh water out for birds & put bird seed out. I put out fresh water for the hummingbirds. I cleaned off the bird poop from the fence.

 

I did bookwork and got Audit finished for the Workman's Comp Insurance company. I submitted it via their website. 

 

Hubby did not feel good so I put a cold wash cloth on his forehead. 

I vacuumed. I tried to take a picture for my passport photo.

We were going to ride our motorcyles, but it is TOO HOT AND HUMID OUTSIDE.

Went swimming at 5PM. Rode our motorcyles down.

But we could only stay in the pool for a few minutes. Irl was there (Kathy was in Calif) Janet & Faye were there. Dave & Carmen came much later. Storm clouds & lightning came and we decided to leave. When I got out, Hubby's shirt blew away from the massive wind. Faye found my Pioneer ID on the ground.

We left and rode our motorbikes home. Just as we got home, it RAINED.

Up at 8:36AM. We actually slept late!

Hubby made the bed. He let the dogs out for potty.

I made lattes in the kitchen.

Then I washed my hair and dried it.

Dogs ate breakfast. Hubby had a burrito. I made a baked cheese egg with sausages.

Hubby left to go get the Ford Ranchero out of the garage unit at 140 Riverside that he is renting to Bryson. He picked up stuff from Bryson. He returned at Noon.

From Noon until 3PM, Hubby was fixing the water leak at the side of the house. He was looking at the side of the house to figure out how he would install the generator switch to the house. He painted the door jamb in the garage entryway. He painted the brown paint where the new RING doorbell was installed.

 

Hubby cleaned cat litter. Then he put away clean clothes.

I did bookwork.

I picked up dog poo. I put out bird seed.

Left dogs at home and at 3:45PM, I drove the RV and Hubby drove his Dually out to the storage in Scenic. We stopped at the Scenic Store to get lottery tickets. 

Then we drove to Deep Roots and picked up marijuana gummies, cookies, and brownies.

 

Drove home.

 

There were deliveries from Fed Ex on the front porch. 

 

Hubby made Loose Meat sandwiches.

I ate a marijuana cookie because I had been feeling badly from Lupus symptoms. 

Watched Unforgettable on TV. 

Went to bed at 11PM.

Up at 6AM.

 

Leave dogs at home. Drive to St George to pick up Motorhome.

 

Hubby drives motorhome back to Mesquite. I drive FMF. Raining thru the Gorge.

 

Deposit Cash in MACU.

 

Drive home. 

 

I park FMF in garage. Hubby parks RV in front of house. Going to plug motorhome into home electricity. EXTENSION CORD AND RV CORD HAVE BEEN STOLEN. 

 

Hubby has a snack and goes to shop.

 

Tater stays home.

 

LOTS of Rain at 1PM.

 

I do bookwork. I put away clean clothes. I put away clean dishes. 

 

I leave for Nails at 2:30PM. 

Stop to drop pumpkins off at IV Infusion, but nobody is there. 

Get nails done. Pretty ombre purple pink white.

Back home again by 4PM. Let dogs out. Give them treats for being good on their own.

I watch TV.

Hubby gets home at 5PM after getting groceries at Walmart.

Help Hubby unload groceries.

We watch TV. Brokenwood Mysteries.

Already August! Fall & Winter is just around the corner.

 

Kids in the Clark County School District start school today.

 

Wilson got up at 1AM last night. Hubby put him out, but Wilson had already pooped int he front bedroom. I had to clean that up. 

 

Slept until 6:30PM. Hubby put the dogs out and fed them. Then he came back to bed with me and slept for a while. 

 

I got up at 7AM. Went potty, Got dressed. Made lattes in the kitchen. 

 

I cleaned up Wilson's poop. 

 

Started the dryer. Put dirty wash rags and laundry in washer to start it. 

 

I started the dishwasher. 

 

I put bird seed & water out for the birds. 

 

I transferred $ to the Bank.

Hubby was up by 8AM. He got dressed. I put Tater's collar on the dog. Then they left for the shop at 8:30AM. It was warm outside.

I cleaned the front door rug. Vacuumed it, then washed it. I washed the park bench. Then I vacuumed out the front door entryway. I washed out the metal stand and put it out to dry.

I put the rug out to dry in the sun. 

 

I put laundry away.

Hat from Jeep was delivered at 2PM.

I did bookwork.

Up at 8AM. Tried to sleep in late, but had to pee.

Hubby was already up and had put the dogs out for potty.

We watched morning News. 

Hubby fed the dogs. 

I cleaned up breakfast dishes & started dishwasher.

 

I put laundry in washer.

 

Hubby watched his Automotive shows today.

 

At 1-2PM, we rode motorcycles up to the Regional Sports Complex to see if they were finished with spreading the new astro-turf. But they are still working up there. 

 

I stopped to talk with Dave. Dave & Carmen had just gotten home from Salt Lake to attend a funeral for his father's best friend. 

Then Dave came over with sweet corn to share. He visited at our house until 4:30PM.

Both of us had a marijuana gummy before going to the pool.

 

At 5PM, we changed and left the dogs at home. Drove our bikes over to the Community Center to swim in the pool. Janet, Faye, Dave & Carmen were there. Irl & Kathy came later.

We left the pool at 6:30PM and rode the bikes the long way home. Saw some bunnies.

At home, we had dinner. I had chicken.

Went to bed at 10PM.

 Up at 6AM. 

I made lattes. Hubby let the dogs out for potty. Then he made breakfast for them & fed them.

I did not feel good, so I slept on the sofa until Noon.

Hubby watched Automotive shows.

Picked up the trailer from Jose's yard. 

We drove to St George. Went the old highway and then got on the Interstate. There was a LONG line of cars stopped before the bridge work.

In St George, we returned the trailer & dropped off the liquor to SKYLER in Hurricane. 

Then we drove to find the Corn Dog wagon. It was on the other side of town. There were beautiful flowers blooming from the recent rain we had so I took a picture.

Then we stopped to get Smoothies from Tropical Smoothie Cafe. They were overwhelming loaded with banana flavor instead of strawberry. The smoothies also tasted very acidic. Awful to waste $15 for 2 smoothies like that. Never going back. Yuck.

Drove home. 

At home we left the dogs. Rode our bikes over to the Community Center.

Went swimming. Nobody else we knew in the pool. We swam until 6PM.

It got dark early. We rode home after the sun went down. 

Had dinner. 

Took Marijuana gummies.

Went to bed at 10PM.

Hubby & Chris used the man lift at the shop to put in the electric for the Dipping Tank.

 

Casey went home sick. 

 

At 3:15PM, Hubby got home. 

PUMPKIN PATCH

I had changed my shirt and was ready to go. Took a pink pumpkin in a walmart bag with us to IV Infusions. Went to the new building for Enliven Infusions. Gave the pumpkin to Erica.

Met a nice woman named Pamela and I told her I would bring a pumpkin for her next week.

We got done with IV infusions at 4:20PM. Hubby paid and we left.

Drove to Wamart. Picked up groceries. LOTS OF STUPID people blocking the aisles. A couple stoppped in the aisle with a motorized wheelchair and a cart. They would not move. Then a woman coming out of Walmart was pissed at us because we had to wait for traffic and customers coming out. She made a nasty face at us and would not wait for us to turn right. Bitch. 

Saw Mike walking into the store.

Drove home. Unloaded groceries. Hubby made Sloppy Joes.

Gave treats to the dogs.

We took the Dually and the dogs drove over to Wendys for breakfast sandwich. Hubby went inside the Flying J and got donuts.

We drove back home. Hubby dropped me off. He & Tater went to the shop.

I brought the garbage can back inside the fence.

I watched TV.

I put away clean laundry.

Went swimming from 5PM to 6PM. Met Charlie and Ginger at the pool. Very nice people from California. They are customers at the shop.
