LAST DAY OF APRIL 2020

THURSDAY
4-30-2020

LAST DAY OF APRIL 2020

Tater, Wilson, and Robert slept with us last night!

Tater stomped on my kidneys at 5AM and I had to pee.

Hubby got up after that.

I woke up at 8AM. Hubby had already made breakfast.

Hubby could not get going this morning. He sat at the dining table for a long time trying to get his shoes on.

I made lattes.

It was humid and hot outside. The dogs went outside for a while. They did not bark at anybody walking past.

Landlord called and wanted Hubby to leave this afternoon for Reno. Hubby talked him into leaving at 4AM tomorrow.

Hubby and Tater left with the Truck & Camper at 9AM.

I cleaned cat litter, started dryer again, put away breakfast dishes, vacuumed, picked up dog litter. By this time, I was exhausted.

Hubby and Tater came back late afternoon, about 5PM. I had to call him and remind him that we needed to get Walmart groceries at 7PM pickup.

Hubby got home. Tater was FILTHY.

Had to put dogs in kennel after letting them out to potty.

We drove Dually down to Walmart to get groceries. Hubby had to stop at Shop because he forgot his phone there. Then we drove over to Jose's lot that he was putting gravel upon. We backed the camper in-between the two storage units. Jose has 4 storage units stored there.

We finally came home. Put groceries away.

I went for a bike ride while Hubby fried Bacon outside.

I made Bacon Spinach Quiche while Hubby left and went to pick up a paper from the DMV so he can take the trailer without plates, and then he picked up the trailer from the shop.

When he returned, I had finished my Patriotic Button Garland.

Hubby and Tater took a shower. Tater was so shiny and soft! He ran around the house like a maniac with his butt down, doing hot laps!

We had gotten Tater a small soccer ball from Walmart. He had it for about 20 minutes before he chewed a hole in it. He had lots of fun with it.

Cats played with a Moth in the kitchen. They got up on the fridge and cabinets to try to catch it. Hubby put a ladder out for them to climb up. Then Rattler climbed on top of the pantry door to catch it. He jumped onto the other cabinet.

RATTLER CAT LOOKING AT MOTH ON CEILING BY LIGHT

I had to get clothes out of dryer and put them away.

Then I cleaned up cooking mess. Had to try the Quiche when it came out of the oven. Hubby said it was "too salty". He is too picky. It is delicious.

QUICHE FRESH IN OVEN

We went to bed about 11:30PM.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HUBBY

WEDNESDAY
4-29-2020

I was up most of the night with severe endo cramps. Took a hot bath then passed out on the spare bedroom bed after taking LOTS of aspirin.

Finally dragged myself into the master bedroom to sleep. I was freezing and had cold shivers.

Up at 7AM when I heard Hubby making eggs for dogs. My stomach really hurts. It smells like cigarette smoke in our home.

I made lattes. Tried to find candles. Hubby had them last (in December for my b-day) and they are not in the drawer!

Tater In Birthday Hat

Tater was NOT enthused about Birthday Hats

I brought out the presents and put his cupcake on a plate. Tried to put b-day hats on dogs, they pulled them off.

KR called at 7:45AM. She sang Happy Birthday to Hubby.

I checked the IRS Stimulus again and was finally able to give them our direct banking info.

I checked and we got the other EIDL loan for our other business.

We sat on the patio with the dogs. I soaked my feet in water. Tater played in the fresh water that I gave them.

Tater Plays In Water

Then Dean and Eric came over at 11AM to install the Remote Key Pad for our Garage Door as a Birthday Present for Hubby.

Garage Door Keypad

Hubby made chicken and rice (brown rice & white rice).

I took a nap at 1PM.

Went to get wood at Ace Hardware around 2PM for our 3-D Mountain Art we want to make for the dining room wall.

Picked up a shovel to make a shovel owl.

Then we went to Walmart to wash the truck. I did not find any coins on the ground.

Drove to Wendy's to get burgers for dogs, but we did not fit under the 9'10" mast (actually hit it) and had to back up.

Drove home and Hubby made BBQ Meatballs.

I made the Chocolate Ice Cream Roll for Hubby's birthday. I thought it would not come out quite right because we did not have cream de tartar or baking powder. I also do not have a Hand Mixer and could not whip the egg whites.

I baked the cake. Then put the ice cream out to get soft. After the cake cooled, we put the ice cream on it and put it in the freezer for eating tomorrow. Hubby said he has not had an ice cream cake for about 40 years!

 Chocolate Cake Ice Cream Roll

Went for a bike ride at 7:45PM.

Hubby watched Automotive shows.

Went to bed at 10PM.

COVID-19 CRISIS DAY 28 IN QUARANTINE

TUESDAY
4-28-2020

Hubby flew out of bed at 7AM when he heard the Garbage Truck go by. He had forgotten to put out the garbage can. He got out there when they came back down the street.

I made lattes & made the bed.

Hubby made dog eggs and fed them.

Cat scratched thru the fortified screen that is supposed to be animal proof and he got outside again. We need to come up with something different for that screen.

Then Hubby took off to load the camper as Jose was putting gravel in and fencing the lot. He is getting tired to Landlord charging him so much rent when he is not making $ during the Covid-19 Crisis.

Hubby forgot his phone at home.

I went for a bike ride. Hubby forgot and shut the garage door. Thankfully, the side screen door was still open.

Saw the Springfield Tire Fire in the distance over by the Golf Course. Stinks outside like North Idaho Wild Fires.

Golf Course Fire

I cleaned cat litter, vacuumed. I picked up dog poo. Then I put laundry in washer & started it. Cleaned up breakfast dishes.

I had a late breakfast. Leftover scallops and Dave's Killer Bread.

I updated info on our 2018 Taxes. For some reason, the H&R Block program did not save our last year's tax info correctly.

Dogs went in and out.

Checked our banking balances and STILL NO STIMULUS CHECK.

Tater was NOT HAPPY about being left home with Wilson & myself. He had wanted to go down to the shop. Where the UPS man stops to say "HI" to him everyday.

Hubby got home about 4PM. He had forgotten to take his phone with him.

We went for a bike ride later. I suggested we take the dogs for a walk tonight.

We ordered pizza from Dominos. Hubby got the Extravaganzza and I got the Chicken.

Cat On A Pizza Box

The Golf course started burning again and it stank outside. We decided NOT to walk dogs.

Watched Parks & Rec then went to bed at 10PM. Hubby was really tired.

Tater had to be covered up when we went to bed. Only his nose was out of the comforter.

HUBBY & TATER AT SHOP

MONDAY
4-27-2020

Up at 7AM. Dogs were barking outside.

Hubby made eggs and fed them.

We rode our bikes for 15 minutes - 2 miles at 7:49AM. Before it got too hot.

Hubby had to sit down and rest on the sofa for a while before he and Tater left for the shop.

Tater and Wilson tried to find the Bee in the bush again.

 Tater Looking For Bee

Then Hubby had to come back to the house because he forgot the wheel spacers for the trailer wheels/tires. Hubby is going to change the filters & oil on the Dually.

I vacuumed the house. Then I started Roomba in both bedrooms.

I started 2 loads of laundry and put them away.

I steam cleaned the floor. Then I closed the doors and turned on the fans.

While I was cleaning off the dining room table, I put the cat boxes on the floor. Obviously, Rattler could not wait for me to finish as he got into the box RIGHT AWAY while it was on the floor.

Tried to check IRS.GOV for our Stimulus check info, but their website still is not working correctly. It does not recognize our information.

I watched TV. Was exhausted after working.

Wilson napped.

Hubby and Tater got home at 5:30PM.

Hubby and Tater took a shower. I had to help dry Tater off.

Then we sat on the patio outside as it was cooling off.

We came inside and Hubby grilled Scallops for dinner.

Scallops
Cats Holding Hands

We went to bed about 10PM after watching Parks & Rec.

Hubby's eyes were bothering him because he welded on Aluminum for Landlord.

I put drops in Hubby's eyes.

SUNDAY AND A DAY OF REST PLUS BREAD MAKING

SUNDAY
4-26-2020

Got up at 7AM. Hubby had already made eggs for dogs and fed them.

We got house cleaned up. Then went for a 15 minute bike ride.

Came back and sat on the patio until it got too hot. Hubby talked to Tom, Joe's friend from Arizona. Tom wants to buy a Mustang from the guy in Las Vegas.

I mixed up my Sourdough Starters again. The San Francisco Sourdough was ready to make.

So I added more flour and water, then put it in the Kitchen Aid Mixer to knead. I had spilled some flour on the counter and had to clean it up, forgetting that I had not added another cup of flour to the dough. So it was watery. I had to add it later.

Hubby watched Automotive shows all day. Dogs played outside until it was too hot, then came inside and sat on the Sofa with Hubby.

Then I pulled the dough out and formed it again. Had hubby get the Dutch Oven out of the garage so I could bake one of the loaves in it. Pre-heated the Dutch Oven and then put dough in it. It came out quite good after 45 minutes. Crust was a little hard as I forgot to put water in oven while baking.

I took an hour nap on the sofa.

 Tater Stole My Blanket

 Bread

Second loaf was awful. Was on a baking pan and it was doughy and tough. Threw it away.

We drove to Walmart to get our Grocery Pick-Up order for milk, raisins, seltzer water for Hubby. Took the dogs with us in the Dually. Picked up order at 7:15PM. Nice girl with very long, black hair came out.

Then we drove to Littlefield to get Lottery Tickets.

A lot of the tar that was on the Dually rear tire flew off as we were driving down the Interstate.

Saw LOTS of UTVs driving back in the night with their lights on. It was fun to see.

Drove back to Sun City and dropped off apples where Bunnies live. Almost hit one bunny that was sitting in the grass.

At home, unloaded groceries.

Tater As Comfy Footrest

Watched Parks & Rec. Went to bed at 11PM.

QUARANTINE DAY 25

SATURDAY
4-25-2020

Got up at 7AM. Hubby had put the dogs out at 5AM and come back to bed.

Wilson and Tater woke us up and wanted to go outside again.

I made the bed, Hubby started making dog breakfast. He made a burrito. Then he fed the dogs.

I made lattes and made eggs with cream cheese for myself.

We ate breakfast on the patio. Dogs barked at passersby.

Saw a few Jet trails in the sky. Not many.

 Jet Trails

Dogs found a bee in the bottle brush.

Finding A Bee

Drove down to Sherwin Williams to get paint; we took the Dually. Had to wait outside for somebody to come help us. They did not want people in the store due to Covid-19.

At Sherwin Williams

KR yelled at us when we did not have masks on; I told her we took masks off to take the picture!

Hubby painted the Alcove when we got home. I like the color.

Tater helped. Robert helped.

HUBBY PAINTS

TATER HELPS WITH PAINTING

Hubby watched Automotive shows today. He peeled oranges for me.

Loaded the dogs into the Dually. We drove down to the Building and looked around it.

Saw a beautiful sunset on the way home.

We stopped at Wendy's and picked up burgers for dinner.

Went to bed at 10PM.

COVID-19 RELATED DEATHS - BAIRD PASSES AWAY

FRIDAY
4-24-2020

Got up at 7AM. Made lattes.

Hubby made eggs for breakfast. He fed the dogs. Then he made himself a burrito.

We sat on the patio to eat breakfast. Slight breeze. Warm morning.

Rattler came outside and rolled around on the rocks and concrete.

 Rattler On Rocks

Got a partial amount of the EIDL Loan.

We contacted Hubby's brother and our best friend in Dubuque is not doing well at all. His internal organs are shutting down. They are going to do a test to see if there is any brain activity, but then they will pull the plug. This is an awful way to go.

I got my order from Michaels. Bunny rabbits and 4th of July decor. One of the bunnies had a broken ear.

Went for our bike ride. Lots of head-wind. Made it really difficult to pedal.

I did laundry. Hubby cleaned cat litter. I picked up dog poo.

Hubby vacuumed.

Hubby and Tater left at 10AM.

I sewed for a while. Then I got tired.

Wilson went in and out.

I went to get mail. Got Sourdough Starters. Made the Starters with Flour & Water.

Sourdough Starter

I put away laundry and washed our comforter and Tater's camper blanket.

Hubby and Tater returned at 4PM. They worked at the shop all day.

Hubby went to look at the Building with Pat. They think it is a good idea.

Baird passed away. It was just too much for him. This is awful. He and his wife were thinking of moving to Vegas, so we could have gotten together with them.

Hubby and Tater came home.

We made dinner.

Watched TV and went to bed about 10PM.

I could not sleep and stayed up playing games on my iPhone.

Finally went to sleep at Midnight.

WALMART PICK UP

THURSDAY
4-23-2020

Got up at 6:30AM when I heard Hubby making eggs for dogs. I made the bed and then took a shower. Robert was in the bathroom with me, watching me shower.

I dried my hair.

Made lattes. Hubby fed dogs.

I picked up dog poo outside. Hubby cleaned cat litter.

Hubby dressed. Put the dogs in the kennel.

Drove to Walmart in the Dually. Picked up groceries. Got a little sample bag of propoganda crap that I need to throw away.

Walmart Crap

Hubby did not want me to go inside Walmart to get craft supplies. They also shorted us CAT LITTER. The employee said they have been out for weeks. Nothing on the shelves at all. WHY are people hoarding cat litter?

We came back home and unloaded groceries.

Hubby made breakfast burrito. I ordered cat litter online while he sat in the office and ate breakfast.

Hubby went to the shop all day with Tater. Tater received training from the New York guys that are staying down at the shop in their camper.

I worked on wire projects. Wilson was relaxed on the patio all day, sleeping.

I put away laundry.

When Hubby and Tater came home, they were filthy. We took Tater outside and washed him on the patio. Nice warm water in the hose. Then we washed Wilson. I had to dry Wilson with the blow-dryer.

We sat on the patio and Hubby had ravioli for dinner.

Watched TV for a while - Vera.

Then I had sudden onset endo cramps and had to take a bath. Got very sweaty afterwards.

Went to bed at 10PM as Hubby was falling asleep on the sofa. But I could not settle. Was really hot again. Finally fell asleep at Midnight.

PANDEMIC SHUT DOWN NEVADA DAY 22

WEDNESDAY
4-22-2020

I was not able to sleep last night. I was up until 2:30AM, reading on my iPhone and playing games on Apps. I was not tired at all. Maybe taking my Meds at night is bad?

Anyway, got up at 7AM when Hubby had to play Lake Shore Drive on Google Home speakers. I made the bed.

I made lattes.

We sat on the sofa and watched Las Vegas News. They want to re-open Vegas after the shut down. Can't even be closed 1 month for the Virus!

Rattler

Rattler came outside and rolled around on everything. He accidentally slipped out of our yard and ran over to the neighbor's (Mike) but came back when I called him.

Then I picked up dog poo while Hubby cleaned cat litter. I vacuumed. Then I started Roomba in the bedrooms.

Hubby and I sat with the dogs on the patio until 2PM.

Then we decided to take a ride in the UTV. We drove down to $1 Store to get stuff for Hubby's birthday next Wednesday; we tried to stop at the Bike Store but they were closed. We will have to call about after market add-on electric kit.

Drove to Star Nursery and picked out a Dragon's Tooth Agave to replace the plant that died in the front yard. Ran in Kirk there. People were walking past us (we had forgotten our masks & gloves), not social distancing at all. Freaks.

Talked to Kirk outside the Nursery. He made plans with Hubby to go up in the hills south of town to a mine that he & his neighbor had found. Sounds exciting.

We ran up to Flying J and got fuel in the UTV. Some guy in a car came over to talk with us (from California but had 7B - Sandpoint, ID license plates) Then the Tire Manager came over to talk with us.

We drove home. Unloaded stuff from the $1 Store. I made another latte and drank more water. Getting kinda hot now. 82 degrees. Let dogs out to potty and gave them cheese for a treat.

Hubby planted the Agave in the front yard.

Dragon's Tooth Agave

We watched White Lightning and then Gator. I tried to take a nap, but immediately started sweating. Had to take off my shirt because it was soaked.

I put away clothes from dryer.

Brought in the package from UPS that was delivered. It was the Blue Lug Nuts for the trailer tires & wheels.

HUBBY TO ST GEORGE

TUESDAY
4/21/2020

Hubby was up at the crack of dawn and sitting on the sofa. I noticed him missing from the bed and called for him. Tater woke up, wagged his ears. Wilson got up and both dogs went potty.

I got up, dressed, made lattes.

Hubby made the bed. He was already dressed.

He had fed the dogs already. I put away dirty dishes in dishwasher.

Saying Goodbye To Tater

Hubby left at 7AM. He was going to St George to measure the fence at his Landlord's home. Plus, he was going to weld some stuff on the grille that he had already built him.

I vacuumed, cleaned up the dog bed that Tater tore apart. (see picture).

Tater Tore Bed

I put Roomba in both bedrooms. I started Laundry.

Checked the balance in the checking account. Still no Stimulus Check deposit. Thanks government.

Stormy today. Rained briefly. Really got dark. Very pretty.

 Storm Clouds

Hubby called as he was going to get food at Teriyaki Madness with his gift cards, but could not find them in his billfold. I looked in his go-bag and all his cards were in a plastic bag. So he drove home and did not get food.

Hubby returned about 2PM.

He made white rice and brown rice. We both had chicken salad for dinner.

Walked the dogs late.

I went to bed at 10PM.

But I got up about 30 minutes later as I could not sleep. I was too hot and sweaty. I went out to the livingroom to sit on the sofa until 2:30AM. Finally came back to bed and slept until morning.

Monday, April 20, 2020

4/20

MONDAY
4-20-2020

BEAUTIFUL MORNING. 72 degrees. Sunshine and a light cool breeze.

Got up at 7AM. Tater was barking at lots of people walking past our home.

I made the bed. Then went in the kitchen to make lattes for breakfast. Hubby had already fed the dogs breakfast bake eggs.

I went outside to pick up poo. Hubby cleaned cat litter.

Hubby had a burrito for breakfast.

We went for a bike ride - 15 minutes - 2 miles.

Came back and the mail lady had delivered stuff. Amazon tray from delivery last night by Fed Ex was too big. Tried returning to Amazon and they will refund, but said to keep it.

Hubby tried to show me properties on his iPad. We looked at them on the computer.

Hubby and Tater left at 10:15AM.

I had to clean up more cat litter and vacuum.

I made more chicken salad. Texted Hubby to get celery, apples, and bananas at Walmart on the way home.

I went down to get the mail. Just junk stuff.

Took a nap. Watched TV, Endeavour.

Hubby and Tater got home at 4:15PM. Hubby had gotten chicken nuggets at the Walmart. I fed them to the dogs on the patio. Neighbor, Dave waylaid Hubby in the driveway and started talking. And talking. And talking.

Hubby finally came inside.

We watched TV. Hubby watched his automotive shows.

It got cloudy and dark outside. Looked like rain over the mountains.

I went to bed at 10PM. Hubby came to bed at 11PM. Cats decided to play after that.

Sunday, April 19, 2020

SMITH'S GROCERIES / WASH TRUCK / SHELVES IN GARAGE

SUNDAY
4-19-2020

Got up at 7:20AM. Dressed and made the bed.

Made lattes. Told Hubby that we needed to go pick up groceries at Smith's.

We put dogs in kennel and drove to Smith's in the Dually. Stopped to pick up a white soccer ball in the street.

Bryan helped us load our groceries. Then we drove to the car wash across the street and washed truck & tires/wheels for the trailer that Hubby had purchased yesterday in St George.

We drove back on the interstate to blow dry the truck. It was still filthy in areas. Hubby has to wash on the windows.

Unloaded groceries. Let dogs out to potty.

I made more latte for me. We watched Automotive show.

Went for a bike ride.

Relaxed on the patio, watched TV.

At 3PM, Hubby decided to re-arrange the garage. He installed the shelves and then put everything on them. It made much more room in the garage. I helped him and we worked until 6PM.

 GARAGE SHELVES & MORE ROOM
 LOTS MORE SPACE IN GARAGE

Hubby made scallops for me; grilled on the stove.

We cleaned up dinner dishes.

Walked the dogs late. Then I went outside and looks at Stars on my Star App.

I went to bed at 10PM.

ST GEORGE WHEELS & TIRES FOR TRAILER

SATURDAY
4-18-2020

Got up at 2AM to potty. Hubby was chatty Cathy and had to talk for 30 minutes before I fell back to sleep.

Then up at 7AM to get dressed. Make my 1/2 of the bed. I made lattes.

Let the dogs outside to potty.

Hubby slept for another hour.

I got him up because his latte was getting cold.

I opened up all the doors. It was warm outside. I turned on the ceiling fans. Started laundry. Started dishes.

Then he warmed up the breakfast bake and fed it to the dogs. We sat on the sofa and he had breakfast bake.

I cleaned up dog poo. Hubby cleaned up cat litter.

I printed out return label for Zappos shoes. They were 2 sizes too small. I will order larger ones.

I showed Hubby how to find stuff on Marketplace on Facebook.

We went on bike ride thru the neighborhood and the guy called that had tires/wheels for sale. Hubby said we were bike riding and would call him back.

When we got home, Hubby called him again and arranged to meet. Said we would leave and be there in 45 minutes.

We got the mail on the way back. The TRUST check had come finally.

Then we loaded the dogs into the Dually and drove to the Mountain America Credit Union; deposited the check via the drive-thru window. The teller had to hold most of the funds because it is a large check. Then we drove to St George.

Not many cars on the Interstate 15. A few.

We got to St George and everybody was out, nobody was quarantined. There were people EVERYWHERE. Did not seem to be acting like a pandemic!

So we drove to where Hubby had THOUGHT he put in the GPS directions on Google Maps, but it was wrong. We were 7 miles from where we should have been. Had to re-route it to my phone.

Finally got to West 150 North Circle. I walked the dogs while Hubby talked to the nice guy that came outside. HUGE home. 5100 square foot home. OMG.

They loaded the tires & wheels. Hubby got him down about %50 on the price.

Then we drove to get burger at Arby's. I was hungry and the dogs were hungry. Sat in the parking lot of the mall and ate lunch.

There was a Covid-19 Testing area in the middle of the mall.

 COVID-19 TESTING

We drove over to Costco to get fuel! Costco Diesel was only $2.15/gallon. We did not wait very long. There were attendants for each set of pumps who were cleaning down the handles each time somebody used one. But they were using the same RAG each time. Oh my.

I needed to stop at Michaels to see if they had bandanas for the project I wanted to make. Hubby almost got on the Interstate until I remided him. Then we drove to Michaels. He dropped me off with gloves & mask. The store was pretty much decimated. There were total aisles just empty. Seems like they are not getting stock in anymore from China.

We then drove back to Mesquite. Hubby showed me the TINY lot that is for sale in Mesquite. Then we drove home.

Unloaded dogs to potty. I had to potty. Then I made another latte. Finished the Arby burger.

We watched Andromeda Strain on TV. Then Hubby watched his automotive TV shows.

Hubby made the bed so I would not have to strain my chest.

I went to bed at 10PM. Hubby came in shortly after. I played Scrabble then went to sleep.

PICK UP MUSTANG BODY IN LAS VEGAS

FRIDAY
4-17-2020

Got up at 6:30AM. Hubby was already up and feeding dogs breakfast bake.

I made lattes.

Took pictures of the trailer in the front of house.

Hubby called guy in Las Vegas to let him know we were coming. Plotted our course on Google maps.

I put away breakfast dishes and started laundry.

Hubby cleaned cat litter while I picked up dog poo.

Truck & Trailer (cloudy this morning)

Loaded dogs in Dually. Drove to Las Vegas. The Mustang guy had a place down by Henderson. Pyle Avenue. We had to drive all the way south

Got there and it was fully fenced, so he invited us to let Tater out to run around. His dog (a big doofus Bull Mastiff) tried to come out to play, but the dogs tried fighting each other, so he put him away. Paul and Hubby talked to each other for an hour. The guy gave Hubby a full tour of the 1 acre of Mustangs. Hubby bought the Mustang body, chrome bumper, brackets, and tail lights.

Tater tore around the whole yard and chased down a Gecko in the yard. I had Wilson on a leash the entire time. It was hot today; about 82 degrees and Tater went thru 4 bottles of water. Wilson drank a lot, too.

When we loaded the dogs in the Dually to leave, I gave them ham for treats that I had brought along. I ate the other Beyond Meat burger. Hubby had an apple, raisins & peanuts, and a banana.

Stopped at a local Shell Station so Hubby could go potty. Nothing else was open. Restaurants are drive-thru only. I decided to wait to potty until we got home.

Saw the new Stadium on the way north I-15. It looks like a big black bowl.

Las Vegas Allegiant Stadium

We saw the Nellis AFB F35s practicing on the way home.

 Nellis AFB F35s

Had to get off at Cheyenne Avenue and pulled off the side street to re-tie the Mustang body on the trailer. Got back on I-15 on East Craig Road.

Driving north out of town, just past Las Vegas Motor Speedway, some people pulled next to us and pointed out that there was a problem with the trailer tire. We pulled off at Ritchie Brothers to check it out. Had blown the tire and taken out the tail light wires. Hubby was upset. Nothing to do. Tried to pull off at the next two Truck Stops, but Love's Travel Stop mechanic was closed. There was no mechanic at Moapa exit. So we just drove 50 mph and brought it home.

More people waved us down to tell us the tire was blown. Nice people.

Dropped the trailer off at the shop. Could not back it into the shop as there were too many vehicles parked in front of the shop. Some idiot had parked a U-Haul truck right in the middle of the parking lot. Eric & Dean came over to say hello. Eric said they were going to BBQ at 3PM.

We stopped at Dollar General to get beer for the BBQ. I went inside to see if they had craft poly-fil. They did not.

Finally home at 2:30PM. I was exhausted. Brought the dogs inside and I had to potty while Hubby let the dogs outside.

Hubby went back to the shop to BBQ with the guys - Carne Asade.

I took a partial 30 minute nap. Dogs kept going in and out. In and out.

I took a shower and washed my hair. Dried my hair.

Hubby got back at 6:30PM. Tater had dug a hole in the back yard by the plants.

Hubby took a shower. He smelled like grilling BBQ smoke.

Watched TV until 9:30PM. Changed bedding sheets on our bed. Went to bed.

2ND HALF OF PANDEMIC LOCKDOWN IN NEVADA

THURSDAY
4-16-2020

Got up at 7AM. Tater came bounding into the bedroom and jumped on the bed to wake me up. Then Wilson came running in to jump against the bed before I hauled him up by his nape. He is too short to jump on the bed.

Hubby came in to say good morning.

I got up and helped Hubby make the bed. Got dressed.

Made lattes. I warmed up sausage for breakfast.

Hubby picked up cat litter.

I picked up dog poo.

Then we sat & watched Hubby's automotive show on TV.

I texted KR.

Hubby texted his brother.

I vacuumed cat litter.

We went for a bike ride of 15 minutes at 9AM. It was a nice warm morning, but the golf course STANK.

Came back and Hubby vacuumed the rest of the house.

I glued together scrabble pieces for decor on my tiered tray.

Scrabble Decor

We watched stupid old movies today - Harry In Your Pocket with James Coburn and Winter Kills with Jeff Bridges (what AWFUL movies).

I took a 2 hour nap at 4PM. I woke up at 6:20PM. Hubby said I was snoring.

Then we put dogs in kennel, left the windows & doors open while we drove down to Walmart to pick up our order. I had wanted to go inside at Walmart to get fabric, but Hubby was not wanting to go inside.

Instead we drove to the Community Center to get the license plate for the trailer and then back down to the MACU ATM to get $ for the Mustang body we are picking up tomorrow in Las Vegas! Also getting tires/wheels for the new trailer that Hubby just built.

When we got home, we put away groceries and Hubby grilled the Beyond Meat hamburger for me. He got the truck & trailer ready for tomorrow morning. Packed ratchet straps, spare parts, and cleaned the truck windows.

We watched automotive shows until bedtime.

I steam cleaned the floors from 10PM-11PM. Then I was sweaty and had to sit for 30 minutes in the living room with the fan blowing on me. I need to take a shower tomorrow.

LOCKDOWN DAY 15/BREAKFAST BAKE/UTV RIDE

WEDNESDAY
4-15-2020

I was awoken to the dogs barking outside. BARK. BARK. BARK.

Got up and dressed. Made lattes. Hubby had already put in the breakfast bake that he made yesterday afternoon.

Breakfast Bake After Being In Fridge All Night. Baked In The AM

Hubby fed breakfast eggs to the dogs. Tater does the "handshake" after 2 bites of food each time.

Wilson just eats his on a plate on the floor.

Then we cleaned up breakfast dishes. I put stuff in dishwasher.

I drank my juice and took my pills. Hubby gagged down his vitamins. We have been taking additional vitamins to increase our immunity because of the Coronavirus.

Brother-in-law texted to say that the Trust checks would be coming this week. Attorneys mailed them out. Yippee. Should have been 10 times the amount we are receiving. But everybody is more than happy to steal from others.

Hubby cleaned up cat litter. I picked up dog poo. Hubby vacuumed and made the bed.

Hubby wanted to take Tater with him on the ride, but it was cold. Had to get a sweatshirt for Tater - one of my old ones - "My Best Friend Is A Pitbull"

The sweatshirt was too long on his arms, so Hubby went to get fuel while I sewed the arms shorter. Tater was all ready to go once Hubby got back.

TATER GOING ON UTV RIDE WITH DADDY

Hubby & Tater went on trail ride overlooking Littlefield. They returned at 3PM.

Hubby and Tater fell asleep in the Office after returning from their trip.

Sleepy Boys

We took a bike ride in the late afternoon after Hubby had rested. Only 15 minutes around the neighborhood.

Then we watched TV.

Went to bed at 10PM.
