OFF TO OUR ADVENTURE AT BIG ROCK CANDY MOUNTAIN

THURSDAY
7-2-2020

Up at 7:20AM. We thought we were riding the UTVs to Marysvale to eat at the restaurant there, but everybody had decided last night to have a light breakfast on their own and stop in Beaver for lunch.

Irl and Kathy loaded up and left right away.

U-Haul had called him to find out when he was bringing back the trailer so he felt obliged to get it back ASAP. Disappointing.

Hubby and I drove back tot he Ghost Town just behind the Rest Area and looked for rocks, but could not find any good ones.

On the way out, we stopped and fed the 3 Donkeys our Trail Bars; Oatmeal & Honey. They were happy donkeys.

I made lattes for us and warmed up egg bites.

Dave & Scott went off looking for rocks. Hubby and I loaded everything up. Cleaned out poop drain; rolled up the water hose.

We sat at the picnic table for quite a while, talking with Carmen. I had diarrhea quite a lot from all the food.

Hubby hooked the trailer up to the truck. Scott & Dave came back and loaded the UTVs. Hubby tied his own UTV down on the trailer.

Then we left at 10AM.

Leaving Big Rock Candy Mountain RV Resort

Drove to Beaver and ate at the Crazy Cow Cafe. Which was pretty much awful.

Malibu Chicken which I ordered with Raspberry Tea that I had to remind them twice to bring. 3 different waitresses... "Sorry the cheese fell off the sandwich!" Whut Tha Fuck?

Disgusting Malibu Chicken However, The Sweet Potato Fries Had Been Frozen Tasted Okay

We tried calling to get free apple pie and ice cream from the Pioneer Center, but were told that we were on a "back-up list" there was no more apple pie. Stupid HOA. Carmen talked to them also and got on a "back-up list". Everything that stupid center does with OUR MONEY is stupid.

We got fuel at the Flying J.

Everybody left at their own rate of speed. We texted Carmen and told her to not wait for us in St George as we had to pick up dogs.

 Dogs At Daycare

 Wilson At Daycare

Stopped to pick up dogs at 2PM. They were pretty much subdued. Gave them a treat of my awful Malibu Chicken from lunch. Then the settled down in the truck. Tater slept the whole way home. Wilson sat beside us, but was tired.

Tater Just Woke Up - He Looks Drunk! Wilson, and Hubby

We got thru the Canyon with no problems. All the construction work is done and both lanes are open now!

LOTS OF TRAFFIC FOR 4TH OF JULY WEEKEND.

We did not get off at Littlefield as Kathy had texted it was backed up, but as we crested the hill, Hubby pulled a U-turn on the Interstate and drove back to Littlefield, got on the old Highway 91. Scott & Ray were right in front of us.

We went around Old Mill Road on the way home to get away from traffic exiting the Interstate.

At home, we got there just at the same time that Raylene was dropping Scott off in front of our house. Hubby unloaded the UTVs, unloaded his own UTV.

Dave & Hubby took the smaller trailer to the shop.

I unloaded all the food from the camper and put it away. Unloaded dirty laundry from camper and started doing washing.

Dogs slept for the next 2 hours.

 Tired Tater

Tired Tater and Wilson

At 6PM, Hubby went swim. I stayed home as I was exhausted and still doing Laundry. Hubby drove the truck & enclosed trailer to the Pioneer Center and left them there. He got a ride home with Ray & Scott.

I paid bills online.

Hubby got back at 8PM. He had dinner of the ribs that he had made before we left.

We watched Cougar Town and then Hubby watched an Automotive show.

I took a hot bath.

Then went to bed at 10PM.

WEDNESDAY
7-1-2020

Up at 6AM. UTV back trail to Marysvale. Got fuel at the gas station. Then found out that ALL RESTAURANTS in the area are closed on Wednesdays. We were going to get breakfast at the restaurant in Marysvale. So instead we got hashbrowns and tortillas. All of us headed back to the RV Camp and Carmen made breakfast with the eggs & shredded cheese that we had brought from home; and bacon that they had pre-cooked.

Burritos were delicious. Ray brought oatmeal to eat with us. Irl came down and brought chocolate donuts.

We clean up and get on the road for trails today. We drive back to Marysvale with us in the lead going down the road next to the river. We stop at South 40 RV Park and the guys talk to the man that owns the RV Park about where to travel today. We left at 11AM and rode 95 miles into the Piute Mountains. Saw a few lakes. Stopped at Dry Creek Road so Hubby could clean out the dust in the air cleaner. The light for "Check Engine" kept coming on. After the dust was cleaned out, Hubby said the UTV responded better.

Hubby Cleans Air Filter

Stopped at Wills Reservoir for pictures.

At The Reservoir

Stopped at Manning Meadows Lake to have lunch. Hubby did not have anything packed for me, so I ate cashews, Hubby ate a spicy hot dog.

We continued on to 10,000 feet at Barney Lake. Everybody got out to walk around the lake, but I stayed in the UTV because I had to keep my heart rate down. It was over 10,000 Feet there.

We saw lots of Deer, Hubby thought he saw an Elk. Lots of cows beside the road. Aspen trees were everywhere.

Travelled back down the trail with Scott in the lead. Saw a kid on a bike with a UTV blocking the way. Finally got around them. It was strange.

At the bottom, Hubby took the lead when I told him a shortcut on Durkeys Road to get back to Marysvale faster. We sat and waited 5 minutes for everybody to catch up.

Then we took the Highway 89 back to the camp. We had to rush because everybody wanted to eat at the Pizza place tonight and they closed at 8PM. Ray kept saying we would not have time. But we got into camp at 6:30, took showers. I biked my hair dryer up to her so she could use it.

Disgusting Showers

Reminder: To Complain Online Google - Disgusting Showers/Restrooms/Laundry Facilities. Food was AWFUL. Closed on Wednesdays. Refusal of Staff to Accommodate RVers. Just a awful place.

Hubby washed the UTV and then Dave and Scott came over to wash theirs, too. Hubby accidentally sprayed water into the camper. I had to clean it up.

We were all read to go and got in the UTVs and got to Pizza place TOMATOES Pizza Pie by 7PM. It was very crowded and we had to wait for a table. But the pizza was WONDERFUL. Huge. Great taste. Great people working there. Very friendly.

 Huge Everything Pizza

All Meat Pizza

Ice Cream Afterwards

Hubby had gone to get beer at the gas station as he thought we were going to sit outside. Could not bring it inside. Had to take beer out to UTV.

While standing outside waiting, I had been bitten several times on the back of my head in my hair and down my back on the right side. Hubby ran to the Gas Station to get Benadryl for me. I took 2 and felt the effects immediately.

Ice cream for everyone paid by Hubby. We went outside to get fresh air and eat our ice cream.

We drove back to the camp.

I fell asleep on the bed and Hubby fell asleep on the sofa. Then he got into bed around 10PM. We missed the campfire tonight.

TUESDAY
6-30-2020

Up at 7:00AM. I made lattes, but the milk was watery from heating it in the microwave. We need a new microwave in the camper?

We got dressed in time and met everybody at the Restaurant again. Is breakfast going to be good? No. We got there and Kathy & Irl, Scott & Ray were already there. Waitress says "What do YOU guys want?" No greeting. Another 16 year old working at a job. It was her first day, supposedly.

Waitress had to keep going back to check on food that the kitchen had questions about. The coffee was cold and horrible tasting. Had to keep asking for warm coffee.

Raylene got my meal and was complaining about the sourdough bread she got and cold eggs. When the other order came out, it had Rye on it so I traded her breakfasts and ate her cold eggs. I was quite hungry. She had eaten one of the pieces of sourdough and gave the other to Scott. So I only had two small pieces of bread.

We took the leftovers and put them in the fridge. Dave & Carmen never joined us. They were late-still on Nevada time. PDT.

Our first trail was from the South 40 RV Park where the guys asked for directions. The girls went potty and looked at the Gift Shop.

Gas Station Next To Gift Shop

First Trail in Fishlake National Forest

We started out at 10:06AM. Scott led the outing on the 113 Trail and by the time we got to 7000 feet, my heart had palpitations. We had forgotten to bring my Nitroglycerin pills. So Hubby pulled out in front of Scott and drove really fast down the 474 Trail. Was very tight, had lots of creek crossings, and ended at an old ghost town next to donkeys in a fenced field by the Hoover Rest Area.

 Ghost Town (Abandoned RV Resort)

Hubby got me back to the camp and I took Nitro pills. Took showers and then I napped. I was awake again by the time everybody came back from the trail ride.

Sat down at the picnic table by the cabins to drink margaritas & beer.

Roasted hot dogs over campfire tonight. We saw a lone turkey walk thru the area by the cabins.

 Lone Turkey

Campfire

Sat and talked until 10PM. Then we drove in the UTV back to the Camper and went to bed.

MONDAY
6-29-2020

Up at 6AM. Hubby made breakfast eggs for dogs & fed them.

I made the bed and then picked up dog poo.

I checked on credit scores after paying off everything.

I made lattes. Warmed up Egg Bites from Costco.

Met everbody down on Falcon Ridge and took pictures. Carmen walked out into the oncoming traffic lane to get pictures.

(L to R) Ray & Scott, Irl & Kathy, Dave & Carmen, Hubby & Me

Then we drove thru the canyon and stopped in St George to drop off dogs. Had to submit new paperwork for them. I was doing the paperwork while Hubby unloaded dogs. Wilson wiggled out of his arms and took off. Out into 4 lanes of traffic. Hubby brought Tater in to the office and threw his leash at me, telling me that Wilson had run away.

DogTown Doggy Daycare

I finished the paperwork. Hubby had gone out to collect the squished, dead body. But Wilson had RUN BACK ACROSS 4 LANES OF TRAFFIC and came back to the office! OMG. Hubby nabbed him as he was peeing on a bush. Then we dropped them off and left.

Had to go across the street to MACU to pick up $ for the trip. I walked up to the ATM while Hubby parked in a side parking lot with the truck & trailer.

We got back on I-15 and drove to just outside Cedar City to the Kanarraville rest area and joined everybody there. Then we started driving again.

Irl and Kathy had stopped in Cedar City to get gas. We picked them up on the Interstate and continued on. Got to BIG ROCK CANDY MOUNTAIN RESORT at 2PM (MDT).

As we were trying to find the place to check in; a sheriff's car went south going very fast. Then about 5 minutes later, a van with 2 front shredded tires driving on wheels came flying past on the road going about 60 mph. There were 6 police cars behind the van at a high rate of speed! All of us just watched gaping mouths, none of us got pictures or video! It was fast.

Car Chase from Hatch, UT to Elsinore, UT

We checked in. Hubby did not really like the spot that he was #19 in as it was not the requested 40' space he needed. So he went to ask to move next to Dave in #20 but the teenage girls that were running the front desk said that "somebody had already booked it and would be there tomorrow".

I bought a sweatshirt right away as it was going to be cold tonight.

 BRCM Sweatshirt

So Hubby had to unhook the trailer and put it over to the side of the campground.

Camp

We unloaded all the UTVs. Scott & Dave's were in the enclosed trailer. Dave had our UTV on the back of our trailer that he had pulled.

As we get everything unloaded, we discover that the toilet is leaking from the floor. Hubby has to borrow tools from everybody to fix it. What a waste of time

There is NO WIFI even though when we reserved, we were assured that internet is available. They lied. It IS available at the office. No where else.

So all of us are bored to tears without phones. No cell service to call/text/email/surf internet. Gag.

I napped after unloading. Hubby and Scott drive around on the UTVs to check everything out.

The cabins are OLD. About 100 years old. Ray brought all her own stuff, sheets, blankets, towels. She wiped everything down in the cabin with Clorox Wipes. She said the place had not been vacuumed. I should have lent her our vacuum.

Irl & Kathy's Cabin (L), Scott & Ray's Cabin (R)

We were all starving, so walked over to the Restaurant and ordered food. Most of the things on the menu were out because "they had such a busy weekend". I ordered grilled meatloaf. It was ok. Not great. Most peoples food were pretty bad. Hubby had stringy, tough steak and shrimp. The shrimp looked awful. I shared some of my meatloaf with him.

Beautiful night, so we have a campfire. Roasted S'mores with square marshmallows that Kathy had
brought. Her dog, Molly, slept by the fire in a little doggy bed. It was REALLY cold tonight. Only 46 degrees.

Went to bed at 10PM.

CLEAN CAMPER/LOAD CAMPER WITH VACATION STUFF/MORE WIND

SUNDAY
6-28-2020

Up at 6:30AM. Wilson jumped on the bed and I petted him for quite a while. Told him his belly was rock hard from breakfast. Then he got squirrely and started running around on the bed with his butt down. He never does that!

I made lattes.

Hubby had already made eggs for dogs & fed them.

I warmed up the eggs that we purchased at Costco the other day. Hubby and I had breakfast.

Hubby picked up dog poo. I put away clothes. Hubby cleaned cat litter.

Then Hubby went outside to finish the flooring in the camper. I joined him and cleaned the inside of the truck. It took me from 9:30AM to Noon.

Hubby got the floor done and took the old toilet out. He was ready to install the new toilet, but the foot flush is on the wrong side and hits the shower stall. We need to get a new toilet.

Hubby had to re-install the old toilet.

I washed all the van packs that we have covering the back seat and the front console.

We sat down to rest for a while. Hubby had lunch and fell asleep on the sofa.

Then at 3:30PM, Dave & Scott came over and wanted to load the UTVs. Hubby went down to the shop with the guys to get the enclosed trailer. Dave brought the small trailer over from the Pioneer Center. Dave's & Scott's UTVs went into the enclosed trailer. Hubby loaded his UTV onto the small trailer.

STILL VERY WINDY.

I washed the windows and windshield on the truck.

All ready to go except for loading clothes, more pillows, and food.

Hubby went to swim in the pool at 6PM, but I stayed home because it was TOO WINDY.

When he got back at 7:45PM, it was too late to go shopping at Walmart as they close at 8PM.

Put the dogs in kennel.

We took the truck with camper on and enclosed trailer behind; went to Smith's for groceries. Hubby got Diesel fuel for the truck, then we went inside to get groceries.

We used the Debit card and finally ran it thru as Credit. No more gift cards for us.

Drove back home. Unloaded groceries.

I took another hot bath.

Went to bed at 11PM.

GET CAMPER LOADED

SATURDAY
6-27-2020

Up at 7AM. I was hurting everywhere. So I took a painkiller.

I drove the Expedition and took Hubby down to the Pioneer Center. He drove the Ranchero home and parked it in the driveway.

We went down to the shop and got the Extended Hitch; Eric helped Hubby put it on.

Then we drove to Jose's lot to pick up the camper, but there was a car parked in front of it. Hubby called Jose, but they were in Vegas and could not come back until after Noon.

Then he worked on the wiring for the LED Light bar most of the day, but still could not get it to work.

Then Jose called around 3PM and Hubby went to get the camper.

Hubby called and wanted me to come with him to get the camper, but I was in the middle of making boiled eggs.

Hubby picked up the camper by himself.

When he returned with the camper, Hubby sat on the sofa and had dinner. Then fell asleep for a while.

Later, when it got cooler outside, Hubby went to blow out the dirt, sand, and dust that had gotten into the camper. He wiped everything down.

Then he re-assembled the UTV; I did not feel very good and went to bed about 6PM.

Hubby came to bed at 10PM.

DOG VACCINATIONS

FRIDAY
6-26-2020

Up at 6AM. I made lattes.

Hubby had already made dog eggs with the new pans. He fed the dogs.

Hubby picked up dog poo and made the bed.

I washed the Sudocreme off my feet in the bathtub.

We sat on the sofa, watched TV news, and ate breakfast.

Loaded dogs into truck at 7:50AM. Tater ran outside when we opened the garage door and was trying to play with the Rottweiler in the neighborhood.

I went inside to get my sunglasses.

We took the truck (and trailer still attached to it) to the Virgin Valley Vet.

I waited with Tater while Hubby took Wilson inside. An hour later at 9AM, Hubby came out to say that there was an Emergency that had to be done and they were still waiting. There was a couple that brought in a Chihuahua that had been brutally attacked at the dog park. The poor thing died.

By 9:30AM, Hubby came out and got Tater. Both dogs had ALL their shots, Vet had to monitor both dogs for 15 minutes to make sure they did not have a fatal reaction to the Leptospiriosis vaccination.

Hubby and the Vet Assistant brought Tater and Wilson outside. I got out of the truck to get Wilson. Hubby went back inside to pay.

Then we finally left at 9:50AM.

Drove home. Hubby had to have food because he was becoming hypoglycemic. I made more latte.

I cleaned all the new pots & pans. Then put them away.

We sat and watched TV News until 12:30PM.

Hubby vacuumed cat litter with the old vacuum.

Hubby put together the new Shark Vacuum that we purchased from Costco.

I ordered a packing tape gun.

Then I ordered Hubby's t-shirt from Best In The Desert.

Hubby worked on his trailer in the driveway for a while. Had to repair some of the things that Landlord ruined.

Then we left in the Dually (pulling the trailer still) and drove to Dana's to drop off the flowers and chocolates for Shauna's birthday. Hubby then took me to get my nails done at GS Nails at 3PM.

Hubby ran to the shop while I was getting nails done.

Hubby picked me up 45 minutes later.

We dropped bird seed off for birds to eat. Then we picked up milk and some groceries at Walmart.

Drove home.

Gave dog chicken nuggets as treats.

Let dogs outside to play and potty.

Hubby worked on his trailer some more.

At 6PM, we took the truck to go swimming. Put dogs in kennel.

By 7PM we were back. Put away wet clothes in washing machine.

I put away dishes. Hubby made dinner for himself. Loose meat sandwich.

Watched Little Shop of Horrors and went to bed at 10PM.

MORE HEAT IN THE DESERT - 110 DEGREES/ST GEORGE/COSTCO/STEEL YARD

THURSDAY
6-25-2020

Up at 7AM to make lattes. Hubby had already been up since 5AM. He made eggs and fed the dogs.

Hubby was watching TV when I came out of the bedroom.

I made lattes. Put away dirty breakfast dishes. Gave leftover tuna to the dogs.

Robert & Tater

Tried to put on our new coverlet & shams for the master bed that we ordered from Overstock. I ordered King/Cal King, but it was barely big enough for a Queen size bed.

I decided to send it back.

Hubby vacuumed and cleaned cat litter. I picked up dog poo.

We left dogs in the house while we left to take the Dually and go pick up the trailer in St George. Took our Circulon pots & pans to refund/exchange as the metal was flaking off.

Traffic was backed up going to the gorge. It was all because people cannot merge correctly. Some idiot truck and car from California had to squeeze in front of everybody and should have made a "zipper" instead. Assholes.

After 1.5 hours, we got thru the gorge and into St George.

We drove to the Steel Yard for pipe.

Then we had to drive on the other side of town for Welding Equipment supplies.
Humphries (Welding Equipment)

We were both hungry and stopped at Panda Express for lunch.

Drove back to Costco and got Diesel.

Loaded our pots & pans into a cart and Hubby refunded them. I forgot the list, so had to go back to the truck. It was now 109 Degrees and I could barely walk. Felt like I was getting burnt thru my clothing as I walked inside the building.

I had to go pee when I got inside. Hubby met me at the checkout.

We shopped. Almost nobody there shopping. Maybe less than 125 people in the whole store. Easy enough to keep 6' away and everybody was wearing masks.

Some bitch "Karen" got too close to us in the checkout line and started piling her crap right next to ours on the conveyor belt. I had to shout loudly and put up my hand "THAT IS NOT OURS" when the check out guy started to ring her shit up on our ticket! He apologized profusely, to which I said "SHE COULD NOT WAIT" and pointed at the stupid woman. Bitch didn't even acknowledge me.

We got done and left the store. Thank god. I hate shopping lately. The stupidity just gets worse.

We promised Eric & Dean to bring them Arby burgers. So we stopped at Arby's and did the drive-thru order.

Went to Dave's (Landlord) and picked up the trailer.

Drove home. No traffic backed-up. Got back at 6PM. Drove to the shop, but Eric was already home. He tried to give us directions to his home, but I think he was drunk and told us the wrong way to go. He called us back and told us where to find his house.

Then we drove home.

Both of us were exhausted. Hubby unloaded the truck.

We gave snacks to the dogs. Tater had chewed up the rug in the dining room, so I get to buy a new rug!

I fell asleep on the sofa, woke up and went to bed instead.

Hubby came to bed later.

DAVE'S TRUCK DEAD/MOVE MATTRESS FOR JOHN

WEDNESDAY
6-24-2020

Hubby was up at 5AM to let the dogs outside. Then he got up at 6AM to make breakfast. I stayed in bed until 7AM. Everything was hurting.

I got up and made lattes. We watched Vegas news for a few minutes.

Then Dave, our neighbor, called and said his truck would not start so Hubby went over to help him.

Hubby cleaned up cat litter. He made the bed.

Hubby is supposed to pick up a mattress for neighbor, John, this morning at 9AM.

I cleaned up breakfast dishes. I picked up dog poo. I started the laundry.

BREAKFAST AT THE VIRGIN VALLEY

TUESDAY
6-23-2020

Hubby was up about 6 times with the dogs from 2AM to 5AM.

I woke up at 7AM. He had finally put the dogs in their kennel to quiet them down and we could sleep.

I got up and made lattes. Then I made breakfast eggs for the dogs.

Hubby was up by 8AM and fed the dogs. I cleaned up breakfast dishes. We put dogs in kennel again and left to have breakfast at the Virgin River Casino as Hubby had won a $10 free restaurant credit on his gambling card the other day.

I drove the Expedition. We parked in Handicapped. Went inside and ran our gambling cards again. I got 25 points (again), and Hubby got a free hotdog.

We entered the restaurant and ordered Deuces breakfast.

2 Scrambled Eggs, 2 Sausage Links, 2 Pieces of Bacon, 2 Pancakes, Hashbrowns

Ate and Hubby got sick. He ate too fast and the food was too heavy. We had to sit while he digested.

Then Hubby paid and we left. He drove home the back way. Drove in dirt road to the dump as the construction crew is running the natural gas line out there.

Drove to Falcon Ridge Car Wash to wash the car.

Drove home. Gave breakfast pancakes, sausage, bacon, eggs, and hashbrowns to dogs as a snack. They will have the rest for breakfast tomorrow.

Washed the dogs when I realized that Wilson had dried POOP on his butt. I had to blow dry him. Then Hubby washed Tater while I blow-dried Wilson.

Then Hubby took his blower outside and blew out all the hair off the patio from Wilson.

Hubby talked to Eric on the phone. Need 2018 Taxes to submit to Building sellers. They are refusing to budge. Scared that somebody will not pay them. Pathetic. They are getting over $250,000 up front to hold the contract for 3 years. OMG. If the partners default, they get a quarter million dollars. For nothing.

I printed up a copy of our taxes, printed a copy of Hubby's Credit score, printed an introduction letter.

Sent refund of rental deposit to renter Jensen via Paypal.

Hubby vacuumed. He cleaned cat litter.

Hubby left at 12:30PM for the shop.

I started steam cleaning the floors. Put the dogs in the kennel to keep them off the floors until they dried. Hubby came back because his Keen shoes had broken. The sole had finally worn off the bottom. I think he has had those Keens for several years.

Hubby left again; he was only here 5 minutes.

I let the dogs out of kennel.

I finished the floors.

Refilled the dog water outside because it was full of dog hair.

I put away dishes. I made lunch for myself. Chicken salad, cashews, and green tea. I put away everything, steam cleaner, cleaner rags, etc. Then I collapsed in exhaustion on the sofa to eat my lunch.

I took a brief 1 hour nap from 4PM-5PM.

Woke up and let Tater outside. Wilson wanted to go out, also.

I put away laundry.

I had liquid diarrhea for the rest of the day. I think it was from the breakfast this morning. Have to stay away from restaurants.

At 5:15PM, Carmen, our neighbor, called and said they were down at Walgreens and their truck won't start. Called Hubby to have him go down there to check on them.

Hubby got home at about 5:45PM. Said that he had put jump-box on Dave's truck to start it.

We watched TV for a while. It was too hot to do anything outside. Over 100 degrees still.

Went to bed at 10PM. Hubby came to bed at 11PM.

BANK/MONEY/ENGINE

MONDAY
6-22-2020

Up at 6AM. I let Hubby sleep because he had to get up with dogs in the middle of the night. Wilson pooped in the office again. And peed on the plastic in the office-which I found way later...

I got up and made breakfast eggs for dogs. Then I fed them. I made lattes for Hubby and myself.

Hubby got up at 7AM.

I picked up dog poo out back.

He had breakfast eggs. I was hungry, so I made pancakes. They were ok, but made my tummy hurt.

I took a painkiller because my shoulder and back were hurting. Then I took a hot bath.

Hubby vacuumed and cleaned up cat litter.

I put dishes in dishwasher and started it.

I put clothes in washing machine and started it.

I made credit card payments online.

Hubby called Met Life Insurance and talked with "Jennifer" and put the Ranchero on insurance.

Put dogs in Kennel and we drove the Expedition down to MACU to open 2 separate accounts for business. Got new cards.

Then we went to Starbucks to get lattes & egg bites.

Drove to the shop and gave Pat his $ that we had been holding for him.

Jose was not there. Hubby texted him.

We came home, let the dogs out-gave them what was left of the cat tuna for a treat.

Hubby cut watermelon.

Submitted reconsideration for Loan $ EIDL.

Then I took a bath because I had cramps.

Hubby left at 1PM to go pick up his new engine for the Ranchero.

He was going to find Jose at 2PM and pay him.

Hubby also ended up paying $100 for the engine stand, too.

I watched TV and let the dogs outside; it was very hot today. Over 108 degrees.

Then Hubby got home at 5PM; talked until 6:30PM on the phone with his brother. He took the call on the back patio, sitting outside.

When he came back inside, we talked for a while about his deal with the Ranchero.

FATHER'S DAY

SUNDAY
6-21-2020
FATHER'S DAY

Up at 7AM, I take a shower & wash my hair.

Then I make lattes. Show Hubby how to make my cream cheese eggs. He has already made eggs for the dogs and feeds them.

We sit on the side patio for breakfast. Hubby opens his Father's Day gift.

Hubby Opens Dash Cam

Hubby texts KR. Gets a "virtual" card from her via phone.

 Father's Day Card

Tater had a full belly and was finished barking at people, so he was resting beside us on the patio.

Tater Relaxes

Then I clean the breakfast dishes and put them in the dishwasher.

Cats sit in front entryway looking at bugs.

Robert & Rattler Guarding Us From Insects

I make the bed. Roomba starts up and pulls the charger cords out of the wall. I put him in the bedroom.
Robert & Tater

Later, Robert "allowed" Tater to sit with him on the front rug, looking out the door.

I pick up dog poo. Hubby cleans cat litter. Hubby vacuums.

Hubby took a shower. Tater & Robert help...

Robert & Tater Help Hubby Take Shower

Rattler On Cooler

We can't get Rattler off the soft-side cooler that Hubby brought inside the house after his trip to California.

Forgot to get the Bagels & Cream Cheese that we signed up for Father's Day at the Pioneer Center. What idiots.

Drove over to Todd's Shop in the Ranchero to pick out wood for a cutting board, but he insisted that we take one that he had already made. It is too small for the place we want to put it. It got very hot while we were there. We drove back home. Let the dogs out and turned the A/C down to 69 degrees.

While we drove past the water pond on Sun City Property, we saw Momma Goose, Daddy Goose and the 3 babies, swimming in the water. Hubby stopped so I could take a photo. The babies have lost their down feathers and look like smaller images of mom & dad.

Geese Swimming

We went swimming at 6PM-7:30PM. Ray, Scott, Dave, & Carmen were all going to Bingo at the Virgin Valley Casino, and invited us along. So we raced home and got changed. Then drove to the Casino in the Expedition.

Nobody won anything, but it was fun playing. Hubby ordered pizza from the bowling alley, but it was AWFUL. Yuck. Never tasted pizza quite that awful.

We ran our Gambling cards - Hubby got $10 on restaurant credit. I got 25 points on my card.

Scott and Raylene played Wheel Of Fortune. Scott won $49.

We left because the dogs had been left alone long enough.
