OCTOBER 13 / FRIDAY / DOG BATH / TORADOL SHOTS

FRIDAY THE THIRTEENTH

10-13-2023 

Restless night. Up at Midnight and slept on the sofa. Lots of pain. Short sleeping cycle of 30 minutes, then wake up in pain again. 

I took a hot bath again at 5AM. 

Hubby got up with the dogs and took them outside for potty.

Then he made breakfast for them. I got dressed. Lots of pain. 

Hubby made the bed. I went to the kitchen to make lattes & Nanogreens. 

Hubby had to meet guys at shop that had the black Jeep which broke down on the Interstate. They had borrowed the FMF to stay at the CasaBlanca. They were bringing it to the shop at 7AM. We met them there and Hubby got his info to fix the Jeep. The guys are traveling to Salt Lake.

We got fuel in the Jeep at the Maverik station on the corner. Hubby went to the house they are tearing down next door to ask if they needed the stairs, but the guy said they were re-habbing it an needed the stairs.

We drove to Starbucks and got Bacon egg-bites. 

Then we drove home.

At home, Hubby took a shower and washed Tater, then Wilson. I helped towel-dry them off. 

Rodney B called and wanted to drop his UTV off for a Oil Change. He said they could drop it off at 10AM. 

We left the dogs at home and met Rodney & his son there at 10:30AM. Gave them t-shirts. Rodney gave us Toradol shots. 

Some old guy stopped to ask if there was a window replacement store, Hubby told them no. 

Then some other customer stopped to ask questions as we were leaving. 

We drove home. Stopped at Dairy Queen, I got an M&M blizzard, Hubby got a child size cherry dip cone. There was a notice on the window that Dairy Queen would be closing. The guy behind the window said that Starbucks is buying the building for the drive-thru. Just what we need, another Starbucks!

We drove home. 

I took a nap at home. 

Hubby watched Automotive shows.

I woke up at 2PM. 

We sat outside on the patio and the dog took naps, barked at people walking, and we breathed fresh air. The next door neighbor, Amy came out for a minute. They are going North tomorrow to see the Eclipse. 

We came inside at 5PM when the neighbors a couple houses down had their Landscapers blowing, gas smell, stinky truck, noisy. 

 

Sage was sleeping in the office.

Ordered pan pepperoni & pineapple pizza from Dominos. 

 

Watched TV.

 

Went to bed at 10PM.
