TUESDAY / JAN 2 / DOGS TO DOGGY DAYCARE / HEART TESTING IN ST GEORGE /

TUESDAY
JANUARY 2 2024

Up at 6AM. I could not make latte for Hubby because we are not supposed to eat or have caffeine before our tests.

We put dirty laundry in washer. I put dirty dishes away.

Then we got the dogs collars on and loaded them into the Dually. Hubby had still not put anything away in the Dually since it had been detailed. NOT A VERY GOOD JOB DETAILING!

PRETTY CLOUDS IN THE SKY ON OUR WAY TO THE INTERSTATE

Then we drove on I-15 to St George. Pretty easy drive. No backups in Littlefield/Beaver Dam.

We dropped the dogs off at Doggy Daycare. Had to borrow leashes because there were none in the Dually.

Drove to Revere Health Care Building and parked WAY out in the parking lot. We took in our water bottles. Got checked in for testing at 9:30AM. Hubby got in first and I talked with some very nice ladies that were waiting. Said some guy was super hyper and I moved over so they would not have to sit next to him. We chatted for quite a while before the older lady had to go inside (she was originally from Ohio, so we had lots to chat about with relatives dying, big snowstorms in the midwest, and growing old). The other lady was waiting for her friend. He friend finally came out and they had a cute argument about who was the better friend. You are, No, You are the better friend! It was adorable.

I got back and did the Ultrasound. The girl was really nice and chatty.

She checked to see if she could get us in earlier than 1pm. The guy came out and gave us IVs in the hands and injections. We had to wait for 30-45 minutes until we could go back again. The guy left for lunch and came back at 12:30PM. Then we were both called back. I went to have my scan first, then Hubby had his scan. The guy check us with heart rate, blood pressure (mine was 114/82) then he did the stress injection and we had to have the scan again.

Finally out of there by 2PM. Both of us were starving. Hubby had to have a coffee, so we stopped at Beans & Brews by Smith's thinking it would be the same. It was not. Coffee tasted bitter. Hubby got a hot eggnog latte (with flavor, not real eggnog milk) He ordered cold vanilla lattes for us but they tasted awful. No vanilla flavor discernible.

We got Diesel fuel at Costco.

Then we drove to Olive Garden by Lowes. To have what was probably the most horrible meal ever. Cold food. NO "endless" garlic bread sticks were brought out until the end of the meal. We had to remind the girl several times. My soup Chicken & Gnocchi was barely warm. But it was very good. My "Tour of Italy" was cold. And it tasted awful. Hubby was not offered endless soup or salad. He got Meatballs Parmigiana and there were barely edible. Then we later discovered they charged us $2.99 for a downloadable Trivia game that was offered and it did not even work! I was so pissed. Lunch was over $50. OMG.

We stopped at Wendy's to pick up burgers for the dogs. Then we picked up the dogs. They had the burgers and drank water. We drove home. Tater was exhausted. Wilson did not fall asleep. We stopped in Littlefield for Lottery tickets.

At home, the dogs unloaded. Both of us had to potty. Then Tater slept for the rest of the night. Hubby fell asleep on the sofa.

TIRED DOGS

The neighbors were gone camping, but had left THEIR FUCKING LAUNDRY ROOM LIGHT ON AGAIN. What the fuck is wrong with these people? Scared of the dark?

I filed a complaint about Olive Garden with their Corporate Email and with the email from the Store. They said the manager would get back with me in a couple days...

We went to bed at 9PM. Both of us were exhausted.
