FRIDAY / TRIP TO IDAHO DAY 2

FRIDAY
6-2-2-2023

Got up at 6AM to walk the dogs around the hotel outside.

Saw the pretty mountain with snow on them from our window of the hotel.

Both of us took showers. I washed my hair because I was all sweaty. Nice shampoo.

Then I went down to get breakfast. There was no eggs. I got bread with brush of egg wash on them. Cut up sausages that were gross and some potatoes for the dogs.

Hubby then went to get breakfast for himself.

We watched some TV. Packed up and left.

Drove thru to Jackpot where we walked dogs again.

Then drove to Twin Falls. Forgot about Idaho time change. We thought we were making good time, but ended up 1 hour late to meet guy at Fred Meyer.

Finally got there at 9:30AM Idaho time. Unloaded truck and El Camino. I walked dogs but they refused to poop. Then I gave them water. I had to potty so went in to Fred Meyer.

On the way out of Fred Meyer, I almost stepped on a snake that was curled up by the curb parking by the building.

Hubby was finishing up doing the loading. And then we left. Hubby wanted latte so we drove to Dutch Bros. He parked int he Walgreens parking lot and walked over to get a drink.

We left there and drove to Boise - lots of stinky cattle stockyards along the interstate.

Stopped for a quick potty stop off the Interstate as Tater BARKED REALLY LOUD. He has not gone poop yet today.

Drove to Emmett and found Rugged Mountain RV in the old Fairgrounds. Talked to the owner Anca - she showed us around and the camper they had. We picked out interior finishes.

Left there at 3:30PM and found a Mormon church to walk the dogs in the grass.

As we drove out of Emmett, there was a drag race track near the road and Hubby wanted to stop, but there was no place to watch.

Went to get fuel at Costco, drove past it and had to drive back. Costco did NOT have Diesel, so instead we got Burger King. Hubby walked inside to get it as we could not do the drive-thru with the trailer on the Dually.

We ate in the parking lot.

Then drove to find the other Hampton Inn & Suites in Nampa. Right next to the Ford Arena Convention center. Hubby parked in the back of the building. We checked in and got room 320. Took the dogs for a walk. Tater slid down the grassy knoll. He really liked it.

WILSON & TATER ON BED IN HOTEL

I walked downstairs to get milk. Then we decided to walk dogs and walked over to the gas station next door to get a gallon of milk. Hubby got Coke and cheesy poofs.

Some creepy women had walked behind us - Hubby said they were blocking the cooler for several minutes while he was in the gas station.

We walked dogs around and found a squirrel in a tree. He chittered at us.

Watched TV for a while. The bed creaked all night. Dogs were exhausted. Room door had a major gap and we could see the light from the hallway all night.

I got up in the middle of the night and slept on the sofa with a heavy blanket. Hubby had to cuddle with Tater to keep from sliding off the side of the bed. Tater was taking up the whole bed.
