SUNDAY / FERAL CAT

SUNDAY

Up at 6AM. 

I got dressed. Went to the kitchen to make lattes. 

Hubby was already up and had fed the dogs & let them outside for potty.

I cleaned up breakfast dishes and loaded the dishwasher.

I went outside to clean up dog poo.

Then we changed the sheets on the bed.

 

We left the dogs at home and left the house in the FMF by 8AM. 

 

Drove to Vegas. 

 

Got on the 215 to Henderson. We were early and had to drive around. Found a Dunkin' Donuts that was drive-thru only. Too long line.

 

Finally got to the house at 10AM. There was a gate. We got the code from them.

 

Picked up the black cat. It is FERAL. OMG. Put it in the cat carrier and left. Gave them $50 because the had gotten the cat fixed & vaccinated.

 

Drove to Houston's Hot Chicken for Hubby. He got chicken at 10:30AM.

 

 

 

Then we stopped at Cinnaholic Cinnamon Rolls right next to the area which was only restaurants in the small u-shaped strip mall. I got a Blondie cinnamon roll with cookie crumble, cream cheese frosting, and mini-marshmallows. Hubby got an Original cinnamon roll. Lots of flavor, very little sugar. Very good!

 

 

We drove to the Home Depot at the next exit and Hubby went inside to get parts for his generator to hook up at the house.

Drove home. Cat was quiet the whole way.

We got home, unloaded the cat and Hubby walked around the house with it. It stayed in the cat litter for a long time, then got wedged in the armoire. 

 

BLACK CAT

 

The cat ended up in our bathroom hiding behind the shower curtain in its cat bed that the people sent with us.

Hubby had me try the Hot Chicken sandwich he got me when we got home. He said it was plain, with honey & maple on it, but it was SPICY HOT and I had to spit a mouthful out in the sink as it was burning! 

We watched TV. Then got ready to go swimming at 5PM. Hubby had to still air up the tires on the bikes and we got to swim at 5:20PM. Irl, Kathy, Janet, Faye, Carmen, and Dave were there. Mike was also there and talked with Irl & Hubby.

We left at 6:15PM and rode home.

At home, we got dressed. Took the dogs to the dog park at 8PM. Tater was so tired after playing really hard at the park. He collapsed onto the floor when we got home, panting the whole time. Wilson was also panting. We made sure they were cool with fans, cold wash clothes on their bellys, lots of fresh water. 

Went to bed at 10PM.
