WILSON COMES HOME TODAY

FRIDAY
4-2-2021

Up at 7AM. I made the bed.

Hubby went out to the kitchen to feed tuna to the cats. Then he made eggs for Tater's breakfast.

I made lattes & Nanogreens.

Hubby left at 8AM. He needs to remove the camper from the truck and hook up the trailer.

I vacuumed. Cleaned the cat litter. Cleaned up breakfast dishes and started dishwasher.

Hubby was back by 10:20AM. Loaded Tater into Dually. Drove up and turned around. Saw Landscaper Darryl working on house at top of hill. Waved & said "Hi" to him.

We drove to St George. Not much traffic.

WE HAD FORGOTTEN TATER'S REMOTE CONTROL FOR HIS COLLAR.

Drove to Treasure Valley Park. Hubby had to park outside of the park because of the extra length of the trailer would not fit.

TREASURE VALLEY PARK

Saw Miriam at the end of the park. We walked down there. Talked to her for a while. Then Bryan arrived and we worked with Wilson (put Tater in Miriam's truck) for 1 hour. Making sure that he and we knew all his commands.

It was VERY hot outside. Wilson got tired and needed lots of water. Then we took Tater out of the truck and the two were excited to see each other.

We finally walked both dogs down to the truck. Gave Miriam one of my blue pumpkins and Hubby gave her $100. She was very happy.

We left there and went to the Metal Roofing yard. Picked up the steel corrugated for the ceiling in the new shop.

Then we drove to Wendy's and got burgers for the dogs. It was already 3PM and there was a LONG line at the drive-thru. Hubby parked alongside the street and walked inside to get the food. I walked the dogs separately. Both of them peed and Wilson pooped.

We waited 20 minutes before Hubby got back. Fed the dogs. (Very little meat to Wilson) We do not want Wilson to back-slide. He has already lost 3 pounds!

We ate in the truck. Then we drove to MotoZoo. Hubby was having trouble remembering where it was. I gave him directions from iPhone Maps and he kept yelling at me that it was not there. We finally found it with no problem.

I sat outside in the truck with the dogs. It was getting very hot. We had the A/C on in the truck.

There was an older man in a 1-seat UTV who drove around the parking lot and ran out of gas in the middle of the parking lot. He looked like an idiot.

Hubby came back outside with his parts.

We got on the Interstate and drove towards home. The semis thru the gorge were driving in the left lane, blocking everything. It got worse as we got closer to Mesquite. Stopped in Littlefield to get lottery tickets at the Flying J.

Back on the interstate it was worse. We slowed down to 35 because 2 semi trucks were right next to each other. Idiots.

Finally got home and unloaded dogs. Wilson was happy to be home.

Hubby took the steel & trailer to the shop and unloaded it.

He came back home and we watched Star Trek for a while. I went to bed at 9:30PM.

Hubby came to bed at 11:30PM. Then he said he could not sleep and was up for the rest of the night.
