15th Day of Xmas & 5 INCHES OF SNOW & WILSON to ER

DECEMBER 15 2016
THURSDAY

Got up at 7:30.

Gave leftover turkey to the dogs. Gave Bud his painkiller.

I fed the cats Tuna and cleaned up after them. Some cat had peed on the tile. Bad cats!

Kim called and we talked for about 30 minutes.

Then I had to go out on the decks and shovel 5 inches of SNOW. It was only 15 degrees out this morning.

I shoveled the driveway, too.

KR had to drive down to Lewiston for a small claims court appearance for work.

Hubby called and said that traffic was backed up bumper-to-bumper on Hwy 41 only going 10 mph. Awful. I hope all the Californians go back home because of the bad weather!

Since my Sorels don't fit, I purchased new Joan of Arctic in black from Zappos.

I took Wilson down at 4PM to Diane's Pampered Pooches for Grooming. Brought him back at 5:30. Had to stop for train. Met Diane's cute little Rottweilers. I fell in love with them.

Hubby got home at 6:00. It was really cold outside.

We went down to Grey Goose to have dinner.

By the time we got back, Wilson had vomited yellow bile everywhere. In the dog room on the beds, on the pad for the laundry room seat, on the couches. So hubby hurriedly got dressed while I ran outside to catch Wilson who had gone out to poo & vomit in the snow.

We raced down to Post Falls (saw a two-car accident in Rathdrum with a fire truck & 6 cop cars blocking the intersection) Emergency Vet to get him diagnosed.

They took X-rays and said no Xmas lights or anything blocking his tummy. They gave him an injection of a anti nausea medication. Then we drove back home.

By the time we got home, it was 9:30. Watched a little tv and went to bed.
