Yard Work

Trying to work in the yard today. Picked up pinecones, mowed the yard, and updating the walking trails. But I think I over did it a little bit. Hauled off 18 wheelbarrow loads of pinecones. Ugh. That's a lot. And I'm only 1/2 way done~

So I will give away another freebie tomorrow. Rest is called for right now.

This pic was caught quickly at dusk...and the batteries that were in the camera were bad. *Reminder to self...don't buy that kind anymore* The mother & two babies were frightened off right after I got this. The mother is to the left, out of the shot. She was double the size of these two. They are ravenously licking at the salt we had placed out just 20 feet from the house.
We discovered on Sunday that we have "lil bunny foo-foo" hopping through our forest! He's big and brown. Very brave, too. He hopped under the hubby's truck and around the garage. Just adorable.
Our night at the firepit was a bust as it rained/downpoured Sunday night and all day Monday. Boo Hoo. Rain, Rain, Go Away...Little Bob wants to play!
However, Tuesday dawned with bright skies & temps in the 80s Farenheit.
