Up at 6:30AM. Made bed.
Went to kitchen to make latte for Hubby, but we HAD NO MILK. Made tea/Nanogreens for myself.
Hubby cleaned cat litter. I vacuumed.
At 7AM, we drove the FMF to Starbucks to get him a latte, but there 10 cars in line.
Hubby almost hit somebody behind Smith's to turn around. He went pass Dutch Brothers but there 10 cars in line!
We drove to the shop and picked up the UTV. Hubby had to put air in the tires.
We drove to Walmart to get groceries. Then FORGOT to get a toilet brush and Velcro.
I drove the FMF home. Hubby drove the UTV home. It was still pretty cold outside.
We unloaded groceries at home. Let the dogs have treats. Let them out for potty.
Fed dogs lunch as 11AM.
I put away clean clothes. I put away clean dishes.
We watched TV for a while.
At 1PM, we took the UTV to the new TA Plaza in Littlefield.
Passing a couple UTVs in the desert area just off the pavement behind the Eureka in the washboard area, a UTV was dead. Hubby pulled up and asked them if there was trouble. Guy said his UTV would not re-start after he shut it off. Hubby told him to hit the brakes a couple times hard and then re-start it. Guy looked at him funny. Hubby said we have these do it all the time at the shop. Guy hit brakes a couple times hard and it re-started! His face was astonished! He laughed. Hubby said "I'll see you on Monday at RMOR on Riverside." Wife had looked like she was almost going to cry because they were stranded!
We drove thru the desert. Hubby forgot to order new seats, so my ass was being bruised with the metal of the seat. Our HEADPHONES had not been repaired, so I took mine off and we just screamed at each other.
At the front door of the new TA Travel Plaza in Littlefield, they had a nice woman handing out samples of pizza. Got lottery tickets. Went potty in the nice new, clean bathrooms.
Had to get a whole slice of real 3 cheese pizza to share. We both got drinks. Sat on the side of the building on picnic tables. Ate our food. Watched people. UTVs across the street parked with trucks & trailers.
Left in the UTV. Some nice hispanic guy asked us to do a burn-out and Hubby obliged. We drove back home.
I was exhausted and hurting by the time we got back home.
Hubby immediately took Tater and Wilson out for a dog walk with the golf cart. He went really slowly with Tater so as not to hurt his leg additionally.
We watched The Grand Tour for a while. Then Hubby fell asleep on the sofa. I was sitting on the heating pad. Tater was next to me. We watched GHOSTS and then went to bed at 9PM.
