MONDAY AND RV TOILET PICK UP IN ST GEORGE

MONDAY MONDAY
6-15-2020

Up at 5AM. Hubby stayed in bed sleeping with puppies.

I went for a 5.5 mile, 30 minute bike ride. Saw the same guy biking. Said Hi to him. Not many walkers on the street at this time of morning. Dogs were out back for a while and barked at people walking.

When I returned, Hubby had already made my eggs. He was just feeding the breakfast eggs to the dogs.

I made his latte, green tea & Nanogreens for me and we sat on the side patio to eat.

Dogs barked at people.

At 8:30AM, there were guys here to inspect the back wall that is collapsing.

Hubby called Ambetter to get compressions boots.

Then he had to call a medical place to get the boots ordered; Edge Park Medical, but they said they had nothing.

Then he had to call Ambetter again.

Went down to get the mail at Noon. My shirts that I had ordered from Amazon came!

Hubby talked to Joe on the phone.

Hubby called the Pioneer Center to schedule Father's Day Bagels pick-up for 7:30AM.

We loaded the dogs into the Dually and drove to St George to pick up an RV toilet.

Stopped to talk with Dave, our neighbor and he had a shopping discount card for Camping World, so he loaned it to us!

Tater woke up 1/2 thru the canyon and was whining. We pulled off at the hotel exit and walked in the bare dirt field, but he did not pee. We loaded up again and continued to Camping World.

I stayed in the A/C truck with the dogs, fed them water. While Hubby went inside and got the RV toilet. The toilet was ON SALE! And Hubby got 10% off with the additional Discount Card from Dave! Sweet.

We drove to Panda Express and parked far out in the parking lot. By this time, it was 2PM, so not many people eating. I had to carry Wilson across the hot blacktop parking lot so he would not hurt his pads. Hubby hurried Tater across the lot.

Hubby went inside to order (they were actually closed except to pick-up which we did not know) and then had to wait outside for the food.

A little girl and her brother petted both dogs, they really liked Wilson because he was calm and stood still while they petted him. Tater wanted to lick both the kids all over.

We sat on the patio and gave the dogs ice water. Both of them peed on the surrounding plants.

A manager of the Mexican Restaurant next door was lecturing an employee outside. That was a pain in the ass to hear. Yuck. How many fast-food restaurants do I remember working for? Too many.

We ate our lunch; then took the leftovers and went out to the truck again. I had to carry Wilson again. Tater really did not like the hot pavement.

We drove back to CDA.

Got home and unloaded the dogs. I gave them treats, ice cold water, and let them outside for potty.

We had to get ready for swimming tonight. It had been really hot today, but it was still WINDY.

So at 6PM, we went over to the pool, but it was ICE COLD. Kathy & Irl, Scott, Dave & Carmen were there, but we decided to leave. Tried the indoor pool where we found Trudy - she didn't seem to recognize us. We told her that we would be there for Bunco at her place tomorrow night.

We went back home and let the dogs out. Watched TV until bedtime.

I could not bike ride tonight. WAY too windy.
