PICKING UP CAMPER

FRIDAY
9-20-2019

Got up at 7AM.

I made lattes.

Hubby fed eggs to dogs for breakfast.

I picked up dog poo.

Left at 7:30AM.

Stopped at the shop to unload things from the back of the pickup bed. Loaded Eric's trailer in the parking lot.

Passed Eric as he was coming to work. He had to go to the bank to get more money for the wheels tires that we were picking up for him.

Ran into Eric who said that he would meet us at Starbucks after he went to the bank.

Stopped at Starbucks and I ran inside to get the Sous Vide Egg Bites and Hubby's Spicy Chorizo Sandwich. But Sylvia, the Barista at Starbucks said they were out of the sandwich and gave me two egg/cheese/sausage biscuits instead.

Eric was out talking with Eric. We left and got on the road.

Stopped outside of St George. Hubby pottied. We walked the dogs. Wilson had been whining the whole way. We had even given them calm pills.

I ate my egg bites. We gave one of the sandwiches to the dogs.

Tater slept most of the way. Wilson whined the entire trip.

Snow In The Mountains - Salt Lake City, UT

 Storm Clouds Near Nephi, UT

As we were getting into Salt Lake City metro area, it started raining. It was SO cold. About 52°; and neither of us had brought jackets or hoodies! I was still in my shorts. Hubby had worn his Frontier shirt and jeans. He was smart.

We got to Bluffdale about 2PM. Dropped the trailer off at the church, then went to Kim Kelso's house so that we could load the camper. Hubby paid him for it. He showed us everything on the camper while I filmed, so that we knew where everything was situated.

Then we left about 4PM. I had to potty badly. Hubby had to find the nearest Automotive store so that we could purchase an adapter for the lights on the camper/trailer. I found a NAPA store not too far away. Hubby purchased the adapter.

We walked the dogs.

Then drove to get food as both of us were STARVING. Drove down the road to the west and found FIVE GUYS. We walked the dogs, then left them in the truck while we ate. We brought 2 burgers out for them afterwards. It was SO cold. 52° and had been raining. Everything was wet. Lots of people were parking in the dirt lot we had parked within; they were going to eat at all the restaurants there.

Parked At Gravel Lot for Five Guys Burgers

We walked the dogs again around the area. There was a Lowe's next door. Hubby wanted to see if he could pull the camper & trailer out the side with the street light.

Loaded dogs into the Dually and took off again.

Both of us were cold and wanted a warm drink. I started looking for Starbucks. There was one close, but we could not get into it.

Got on the Interstate I-15, before we got on it, a truck pulled out in front of us with a black & golden lab in the truck bed. Very dangerous. We were afraid the dogs would fall out, but they finally turned off before the interstate.

Slow moving traffic on Interstate at 6PM. Got off at to get lattes.
