1/2 A YEAR IS ALREADY GONE

JULY 26 2017
WEDNESDAY

Got up at 6:20. Hubby had gotten up at 4AM to potty, so he woke me up. Feeling guilty, he let me sleep late.

Zim was sleeping in the bed between my legs and Wilson had jumped on the bed to wake me up.

I got up and made latte for him. Also made egg sandwich for him.

Gave Bud his painkillers. Gave dogs some ham.

Hubby opened a couple cans of cat food for cats & took it downstairs.

No Koda Kat or Joey around today. Hubby said Joey and Scaredy were in the basement last night, sleeping on pillows.

Went out to say goodbye to hubby and found a DEAD SHREW on the ground. Hubby put it in the garbage. I got out deer food to feed the deer in the woods.

Scaredy walked with me into the woods.

Did laundry and dishes.

Cleaned out the Vacuum.

Vacuumed the house.

Cleaned up kitty litter.

Worked on my lace flags.

Dead Squirrel

Found a DEAD SQUIRREL on the driveway. So proud of the kitties for killing Squirrels!!!

I had salad with chicken for dinner.

Hubby got home at 9:30. We took the dogs for a walk in Farragut Park.

In front of the neighbor's house on the Highway, we saw a DEAD CALICO CAT. It had not been run over yet. Hubby turned around, thinking that it was one of ours. However, it was a very beautiful Calico. Probably a broken neck, body was intact. Thank goodness it was not Koda.

Koda is still missing.

It was fully dark by the time we arrived at the park. Bud fell out of the truck and landed on his back leg. It collapsed. He is getting worse all the time. Hubby did not have a chance to help him because he unloaded too fast.

We walked on the road instead of on the trail. The trail is too overgrown because the stupid Park Rangers will not take care of the park.

Drove back home. Saw several deer standing by the road.

At home, we watched a little TV. I replaced all the dog water. Hubby fell asleep on the couch. We went to bed. It was getting colder as we went to bed. 64 degrees. Feels like fall weather.
