Don't Get Me Wrong

Don't get me wrong. I love my neighborhood. I enjoy living on our property. We have 20 acres of pristine wooded land. I have made trails throughout; trimmed the trees so it has a woodland look; we enjoy the wildlife meandering (except for the squirrels).

And there are some neighbors around here that are pretty nice.

Maybe my attitude was because I had grown so tired of being in pain with my foot. When I visited the specialist today, he indicated that it is BROKEN; and that I had ripped the fascia tendon on the back of my heel. I am now in a cast for the next 4 weeks.

So I think I will kick back and spend the rest of the day on the bed with my foot elevated. Thanks for all your kind thoughts and comments.

I'm so sorry to hear your foot is in a cast. That can't be fun! I'm wearing a big black boot for a torn ligament and achilles tendonitis and it's no fun to be in pain and have the boot cast, too. I can't imagine being in a plaster cast. At least I can take mine off to sleep. Hope it heals well and quickly! Thanks for the wonderful pin sets!

OOOouuuuuuchh!!! I have had foot problems before too, but your situation is Sooo much worse. I FEEL your pain! Ok, I DON'T actually feel your pain, but I really feel bad that you have to go through this. I had "plantar fasciatus" (sounds like a wart, but isn't..LOL) and a heel spur -- where that tendon was inflamed and torn and a boney spur had grown and it caused excruciating pain whenever you stood up or walked. Sound familiar?? People who haven't had something like that don't really know the PAIN. I guess that is why bad people used to beat the bottom of the foot for torture!? Wow, how did I end up there?!! Gee, I guess now you will be able to lie/sit there and really listen to ALL of the strange sounds around your property. LOL! Very strange...not quite what you thought you'd would get out in the country with 20 acres, eh?!! I hope things quiet down soon!
THANK YOU so much for the wonderful freebies! I am really enjoying the safety pins...can't wait to get part 3! Take care..and have a great day! :)

Thank you so much for these cool safety pins.I won't need another one for the rest of my life.LOL
I soo feel for you.If you don't take any other advice take this one...if they suggest therapy for your foot..do it!! I broke my ankle in three places about eighteen years ago..I still have a metal plate and seven screws on the outside ankle.Had the pins and wire removed from the inside of the ankle as soon as I could.I had to keep my foot above my heart for three weeks and not put my foot on the ground for three months..and only then when I had the "space boot" on.I couldn't afford therapy on it cause I couldn't work and we lost just about everything we owned..I didn't have insurance on me.:( But now I limp..have done for all these years..it makes my hip go out and then I am not only in constant pain with my ankle but also with my back.So..I beg you ..please do all that they say to do to make it so you can walk properly.I am not trying to make you feel sorry for me..I am trying to warn you..it is for your best to do the therapy.:)

Hugs,
Valinda

Thank you for the pins! I downloaded both parts, so far. I'll be back for the third part! :) BTW, you've made me see the need to get my foot checked out. I've been in pain for over a month now. Mine's off and on, but it's sure not going away! Bet you never thought you'd get such an earful from everyone about their aches and pains, huh? LOL!

Hi! Great Site! I enjoyed looking at your creations. I wondered what program you were using to make your pins? I would like to try to make something like this for my kits.
