AUGUST 2 2017
Got up after hubby already left. For some reason, I was too exhausted to awake, but was getting up at the same time as usual.
Wilson & Zim were in bed with me. I made the bed.
Turned on the A/C because it was already 69. No coolness at night whatsoever.
Lowered the mini blinds, turned on the fans.
Gave the dogs some turkey. Gave Bud his painkiller.
Washed all the dogs beds. Threw away the brown dog bed as it appeared to have been chewed up inside. Odd, as I have never washed it before.
Hubby called with bad news from work; one of the guys that he worked with lost 1 son when he drowned while swimming; the other son is in critical condition at the hospital after losing conciousness.
We had seen a work truck with flashing lights at the intersection last night. That was when he parked his truck and the boss had come to get him, informing him about the accident. So very sad. A collection has been taken up by the guys at work.
Then hubby texted some cryptic information from his brother about their dad's trust. Seems like the trustees cannot agree on anything and are hiring separate lawyers. This does not bode well.
I took Wilson to the Vet at 4:45PM. Stopped to pick up my certified mail from the USPS. Purchased skim milk at Lil Town Market. Too many people there. Too many cards.

At home, I gave Wilson a couple drops in his eye. The other dogs were happy to see him again.
Hubby got home at 8:30PM. He had dinner. Then he fell asleep on the couch.
We went to bed at 11PM after discussing retirement plans. There was no kitty poo, the cats have been going outside!
