RAIN & lights

SUNDAY

Rain, Rain and more Rain. So when we got up, I made hubby his latte. Then we went to A-town to eat at Saddle Up diner. We got a free birthday gift certificate for hubby. (even tho not his birthday-I cannot figure out how they determined it was his b-day).

Took Maggie & Bud with us in the Bark Ark. We saved $9.95 off of a $30 breakfast. Just coffee, orange juice, pancakes, & omelette. Way too expensive. I don't enjoy eating here because uncomfortable tables & chairs, food not that good, servings are very small now, and loud country music.

After we got a doggy box, we came home and bundled the dogs up in their harnesses & went to park to walk. Left Ben home to sleep as he has not had his full puppy shots yet. I will schedule an appointment for him this week for shots & check up.

Put up reindeer & more lights on trees; plugged them in from the shop. Need more blue lights. The summer has rubbed off all the color from the bulbs.

Hubby came inside to eat his leftover breakfast. Hubby had to go down to shop to meet Joe Jr for a while, when he came back we watched Men In Black 3 on pay-per-view. Hubby repaired fireplace.

It gradually warmed up to 41 degrees but was still raining & dark outside. Black clouds hung over everything all day.

Hubby had to go down to shop again to meet a guy with a truck.

Afterwards, he came back, finished fixing fireplace. Then we went into CDA to get groceries & lights. Took a Jeep into town for a guy.

Stopped at Walmart to get groceries. Picked up tacos at Taco Bell. Got burgers for dogs at Wendy's.

MONDAY

Made hubby a latte & breakfast sandwich.

After he left, I baked the turkey that we got on Sunday night.

Put up more lights that we had gotten at Walmart. Took down some lights that were not working on the trees.

Exercised.

Played with the dogs.

Hubby came home at 5:30 and sat with the dogs all night. We watched How I Met Your Mother. I went to bed early at 10:00.

Our metal Xmas tree.
