CATARACT SURGERY DAY

MONDAY
4-23-2018

Got up at 5:30AM to get ready.

We were already dressed, ready, and breakfast made by 6:00AM.

I started the Jeep while hubby fed eggs to the dogs.

We left at 6:30AM.

Drove to Spokane Valley for my eye surgery.

Got there at 7:15, we had to wait. People were trying the door by 7:30. They finally opened at 7:45AM. I waited for a while, then went inside.

Got checked in at the first desk and paid co-pay. Then went to another room to check in. Brought hubby inside with me so he could watch the surgery. They gave me eye drops.

Surgeon came out to look at my eye. Got more eye drops,

Took sedative, got Blood pressue and heart rate. Waited.

Then went to room where they gave MORE eyedrops.

Waited on Blood Pressure machine, then got called into the surgery. It was painless. I could still see a little bit in shadows. Surgery was over within minutes.

Nurse escorted me out to see hubby. I got a free Hat for the surgery.

Hubby escorted me out of the building.

We stopped at Panera Bread to pick up a breakfast Souffle. Then drove to Shotzy's to pick up lattes.

Hubby drove home.

Late tonight, we drove up to the HooDoo Valley and picked up a customer's truck at a farm in the middle of 3 lakes. Lots of swamp around.

 HooDoo Valley

We saw deer in the field eating grass and eagles in the sky flying around.

Drove home. I was really tired and went to bed early.
