TUESDAY JANUARY 9

TUESDAY
JANUARY 9 2018

Got up at 5AM and checked out of the hotel.

SO MUCH SMOKE. It was disgusting. We smelled awful.

Stopped to get gasoline at a station before going to Enterprise. A homeless man asked for money, but we gave him all our food instead. He seemed happy about it.

We called for an UBER and got Juan. He was a Cuban immigrant and had been here 2 years. Very nice guy. Great ride. Clean car.

It only cost $16 instead of over $40 for our taxi from the airport. Quite a deal.

Juan dropped us off at the Airport. We gave him our blanket and water bottles that we still had left in the rent-a-car.

We printed our tickets as I had upgraded to automatic check-in 36 hours before flight. We were A32 & A33.

Hung around until the Harley Store opened at 7:30AM. But they were not Airport Harley. So we did not get a poker chip.

Walked thru TSA, very easy. Hubby forgot he still had his knife, so he had to hand it over.

Went to Concourse B to wait for the plane. We got a gross, disgusting latte from Einstein Bagels and I got a cheese bagel. Hubby went over to get a burrito. The burrito spilled red sauce everywhere.

They called out that our flight was going to be loading at 12:15PM on Concourse C instead. So we hustled over there.

My suitcase handle broke, so had to carry it.

We waited at Concourse C. They announced that the cloud bank was under 500 feet with the rain, so they were slowing down air traffic. Our plane was coming from San Diego? So they were an hour late.

A young couple was chasing their little boy around. He was SO cute.

Lined up for loading. We were just 2 people from sitting in the Emergency Door section for extra leg room. Almost thought the family with 5 kids under 5 was going to sit behind us, but the Flight Attendant told them they could not sit small children behind the Emergency Exit doors. They were quite put out, but I didn't give a damn. Their crappy little kids were crying and screaming. Too many kids to handle. Don't feel like you have to repopulate their earth on your own!

The flight was bumpy. Pilot went fast to make up for time. No views as cloud cover all the way to Spokane Airport.

Bumpy landing.

KR picked us up. Stopped at Stateline to get gas for KR in her car. She drove us to Jitterz because I needed coffee. Then back to the Post Falls store to get the Dodge.

We left hubby there to talk to guys while we drove to KR's. I missed my puppies.

Wilson and Ben were so excited to see me, but did not bark. Beebo squealed and barked.

Hubby finally got there about 1 hour later. We talked to KR for a while. She told us about new boyfriend, James. He sounds a million times a better person than jackass.

We drove home. It was getting dark. Raining. Stopped at Stein's. Hubby got milk, oranges, apples.

At home, it was cold. Found all the kitties. Turned on heat.

Cleaned up the house. Cleaned up kitty litter.

Started laundry. Started dishes.

Went to bed at 10PM. We were both exhausted.
