MONDAY / MARCH 31 / PBJR STITCHES LEAKING /

MONDAY

MARCH 31 2025

Hubby was up at 6AM with the dogs. I heard the dogs barking outside, then I went back to sleep. I was up at 6:30AM. 

Got dressed. Went to the kitchen to make hot cinnamon/honey latte for Hubby, hot tea for myself. Hubby was warming turkey bacon in the air-fryer. He had already fed the dogs. I picked up the bowls on the floor. 

PBJR got on the sofa and I noticed that she was oozing from her incision. So I called Hubby to get a warm wet washcloth and cleaned her off. 

Hubby took our comforter to the washer as PBJR had chewed on it, then had some oozing on it. He washed it. I brought our dirty laundry to washing room. 

Hubby sat and watched YouTube videos on the TV. I cleaned out cat litter. I picked up dog poo.

Hubby let at 8:30AM in the truck, but had to turn around because he forgot the shocks we picked up in Vegas were still in the red FMF. He drove back home. I made him another latte because he had put his in the sink and I had dumped it - it was still 1/2 full. He said he had forgotten it. 

Hubby was back again. Got his shocks. He also had left his knife on the counter. He picked up his drink and left.

I did bookwork. I cleaned up the floor where I saw clearly that PBJR had peed in several spots we missed. 

I had to put up the screen on the side patio. Wind started up again. 25-30mph gusts?

I went outside to sit on the patio with the dogs for a few minutes. Had to come in because wind was too much. 

Fed Ex delivered my Nanogreens at 11:34AM. He was the nice guy that says my house smells wonderful. I told him we had a new dog and he petted PBJR.

I ordered hair color on Amazon.

At 12:10PM, I left with PBJR in the FMF to take her to the Vet.

Drove to the old place, but they were locked. Nobody had told me they moved.

So I drove to the new building and hate the new building. No parking. Still working on it. Junk everywhere. Accoustics are awful. Can't hear anybody.

An assistant took PBJR in the back, said he would show the dog to the Vet. I waited. Then he came back and said it was PBJR's licking the incision that had given her an infection. I told him she did not ever bother the infection. But waited some more for antibiotic and an anti-inflammatory prescription.

We drove home. I gave PBJR her medications when we got home. I gave all the dogs some carrots. 

We watched TV for a while. Hubby called at 3PM and said he was going to St George to drop off parts, but he decided to come home instead. 

Hubby got home at 5PM. He sat in his truck out front and talked to Tim from Idaho regarding Chad H's equipment & cars. 

Riley brought over an antler for PBJR to chew on; Riley is such a great big sister. She also was gently kissing PBJR while she slept. 

The wind came up, about 35-40 mph gusts. 

Tried to find my carrots that I made from last year. Looked in all the boxes stored in our closet and could not find anything. Need to make more. I can't find my metal bunny that I would put out front.

 

SUNDAY / MARCH 30 / WIND / EARLY CLOUDS, SUNSHINE IN AFTERNOON / MASSAGES

SUNDAY

MARCH 30 2025

Slept late until 6:30AM. 

Up and dressed. Went to the kitchen to make a hot cinnamon/honey latte for Hubby, tea for myself. Also made Nanogreens.

We stayed home today and watched TV. Need to let PBJR heal. 

We sat on the back patio for a while because it was nice and sunny. Warm.

At 3:30PM, we put everything away and left the dogs at home.

Went to get massages. 

Drove back home after showering at Casablanca Spa. 

At home, the dogs had dumped the yellow balls on the floor again. PBJR had peed on the floor again. Had to clean everything up.

Let the dogs out for potty. Gave them treats. 

We watched TV. 

Went to bed at 9:30PM. Both fo us were exhausted.

SATURDAY / MARCH 29 / RAVEN TO WORK / DRIVE TO VEGAS /

SATURDAY

MARCH 29 2025

Hubby was up at 5AM to let the dogs out.

Then I got up at 6AM to potty. I let the dogs out. Shut the door so that Hubby could sleep late. 

I made breakfast eggs for the dogs, a hot cinnamon/honey latte for Hubby, a lavender/honey latte and hot tea for myself. Along with Nanogreens. 

Then I cleaned out the cat litter. 

I fed the dogs and let them outside again. 

Hubby got up at 7:30AM. He made more turkey bacon for me in the air-fryer. He got dressed and I helped him make the bed. 

We left the dogs at home, carefully putting everything away that Riley might eat and shut the office room and front room doors. 

We took PBJR in the Jeep and drove to Raven's house at 8:30AM to pick her up for work. She had called yesterday to ask a favor as Michelle drove to Salt Lake City for surgery with Kennedy, their daughter. 

Raven loved the dog. 

Dropped Raven off and then we drove home again. 

At home, we got the dogs ready, put leashes on them. I paid some bills. 

We took the FMF to Las Vegas to pick up shocks at Robert's house. 

The drive there was uneventful other than some sand? beating on my window of the car. All the dogs were good. Tater started whining as soon as we got to Vegas. 

VEGAS IN SMOG

We found a park - Barkin Basin Park to walk them around. They behaved pretty well. Riley & Tater had shock collars on so they were good. Tater did not bother other dogs. 

We took them back to the car, gave them water, jerky, cheese sticks for snacks.

Then we drove to Robert's house on Florine Avenue, just around from the park. 

Picked up the shocks. Then we were both hungry. I found a Greek restaurant and Hubby stopped to pick up a Gyro and Baklava. He went potty there. 

We drove to a Texas BBQ and he went inside to order BBQ meat from a nice Black family (real Texas BBQ) We then drove to Polly Gonzalez park, but it was too crowded. 

Drove 5 minutes away to Estelle Neal Park, but the wind was VORACIOUS. About 25-30 mph gusts. There were picnic tables to sit under a shelter but they had different colored plastic table covers. I wanted to eat in the car, but Hubby actually had a fit and was throwing things. So we sat and it was awful. Wind blowing food away, wind blowing plastic, wind blowing pop can. 

We gave water to the dogs. I went to the restrooms to potty.

We finally gave up and went back to the car. Loaded dogs and ate some more in the car. 

Drove to the Interstate 215. Hubby had been "surging" with the pedal to the metal and I asked him several times not to do that. He finally upset me by doing it as he got on the interstate, going around a corner and Riley fell into me and also took my left ear off. I then got angry at Hubby.

We drove home in utter silence as I refused to kow-tow to him. 

At home, I unloaded dogs, let them outside for potty and then laid down to take a nap. 

I don't know what the fuck Hubby did. 

When I woke up, he had done absolutely nothing. Just sat on the sofa. 

The clothes had to be put away, the clean dishes had to be put away, the humidifier had to be filled. He said he did not want to make noise. 

At 5:30PM, Hubby moved the FMF and I drove the Jeep to pick up Raven from work while Hubby stayed home with the dogs.

After I drove Raven home, I drove back home. 

I had some of the Gyro because I did not like the BBQ. Really did not like the meat with sauce. Not real BARBECUE in my opinion. BBQ should be slow cooked meat in sauce on a bun. Not smoked meat with sauce on the side. Yuck. 

We watched the final episode of REACHER and then another episode of LUDWIG. 

The golf course was spraying shit water outside and it stank. 

Went to bed at 10PM.

FRIDAY / MARCH 28 / DOGGY DAYCARE / CARL'S JR / LUNCH AT PARK / COSTCO / ST GEORGE MED SPA

MARCH 28 2025

FRIDAY

Hubby was up at 6AM with the dogs and let them out for potty. He fed them breakfast.

I was up at 6:30AM. Dogs came running into the bathroom to greet me. Hubby helped me make the bed. 

I went to the kitchen to clean up and put dirty dishes in dishwasher. I made a hot cinnamon/honey latte for Hubby. Then I made hot tea for myself.

Sat on the patio. Wind was blowing again. Dogs barked at neighbors walking. Hubby put shock collars on dogs and shocked them. Need to train them not to bark. Riley is getting really bad barking at everything.

Drove to St George. Stopped at Moto Zoo and had mechanic diagnosis UTV. The UTV needs a new computer. 

DRIVING TO ST GEORGE

Drove to Doggy Day Care (Dogtown) and dropped off Riley & Tater. PBJR can't go yet becaus she is still recovering from Spay surgery and she does not have all her vaccines yet. 

We needed food. So we drove to the other side of town and got Carl's Jr burgers. I walked to the other side of park and went potty. Clean restrooms. Took the burgers to a picnic table to eat. PBJR went potty.

Walked Hubby to the restrooms. 

Walked back to car. Drove to Costco to pick up groceries. Left PBJR in car with windows rolled down and lots of fresh water. 

We were only gone about 30 minutes. Came back out and PBJR was panting. It was warm in car, not hot. So we turned on the A/C and cooled her down. She drank water. Hubby loaded groceries in car. 

Then we drove to the outlook for Dixie Rock and parked in the parking lot. I called St George Med Spa to see if I could get in early. They said come at 3:30PM.

We drove over there and Hubby had to get candy bars & Tylenol at the gas station. Hubby & PBJR waited while I went inside Med Spa. Some guy with tight pants pulled up to AT&T store in a Porsche. 

I saw Sarah and gave her a bucket with candy, lip gloss, hand cream, hand sanitizer in it. From our Poker Run. She was happy. I got the Laser hair removal treatment done and then tipped her.

I met Hubby outside. We drove to Doggy Day Care and picked up the dogs. Riley barked and barked at me. she was telling me about her day! 

We gave the dogs fresh water, jerky treats, and string cheese. They were hungry!

We drove home. Riley immediately sat in my lap and fell asleep. PBJR & Tater slept in the dog bed in the back of the FMF.

At home, dogs woke up enough to stagger inside, go potty in the back. Then they came back inside and fell asleep. Hubby left to meet the Upholstery guy, but then cancelled. He went to the shop and picked up UPS boxes and put them in the shop. Hubby unloaded the UTV and then drove to Jose's yard to drop off the trailer. 

When Hubby returned, I took a nap 

THURSDAY /. MARCH 27 / DAY AFTER SPAY SURGERY

THURSDAY

MARCH 27 2025

Up at 5:30AM. Hubby let the dogs outside for potty. I had to put PBJR on the floor. Then we gave PBJR her first painkiller with a little bit of American sliced cheese. I went back to bed until 6AM with all the dogs. I had to put PBJR on the bed. No jumping, running, playing because of her stitches.

Hubby stayed on the sofa. 

At 6AM, the dogs tore out of the room. I had to lift PBJR onto the floor again. They went out and greeted Hubby. Then Hubby let them out for potty again.

While I made the bed, Hubby fed the dogs their egg breakfast as usual. PBJR really ate well today.

I went out to the kitchen to make a hot cinnamon/honey latte for Hubby, a lavender/honey latte for myself. I made tea. 

Hubb warmed up turkey bacon in the air fryer for me.

I got Hubby's leg compression boots out and put them on the bed. I put a heating pad on the bed for him.

Hubby did a quick 20 minute compression. I watched the dogs and kept them away from him. 

I did bookwork. Put laundry in dryer. Cleaned cat litter. 

We sat outside on the patio in the fresh air (very little sunshine-some clouds) for about 30 minutes.

Riley had the zoomies this morning and was tearing around. She ran around both sides of the house. Finally settled down and chewed on a antler. 

QUAIL IN THE BACK YARD

Lots of traffic on the road behind us-Flat Top Mesa. Can hardly hear each other while sitting on the patio. I thought this was going to be a quiet retirement community. Pulte refuses to put the road in the other way to cut down on construction traffic going right thru the subdivision.

At 8:30AM, Hubby and Tater left for the shop in the FMF. 

I put clean clothes away. I did bookwork.

The girls and I sat outside on the patio several times. Peanut Butter likes to sun her belly.

Finally, about 2:30PM, the wind came up a lot; I had to roll up the screen on the side of the house, turn the chairs on the patio around to prevent the cushions from blowing away. The girls and I came inside. 

I did more bookwork.

Hubby & Tater were home by 3:45PM. Hubby had a snack. Then he had to return to the shop to meet the Upholstery subcontractor. Hubby was back again by 4:30PM. 

We watched TV. 

Hubby warmed up some more turkey bacon in the air-fryer. 

I put away clean clothes. I put away clean dishes. 

It was very hot out tonight, so we turned on the A/C and stayed inside.

Hubby had me help him on an invoice to submit to Zurich Insurance for a customer. Looking up prices on Partzilla. 

I did bookwork. Got done at 10PM.

I took a hot bath and Melatonin. Went to bed at 11PM.

WEDNESDAY / MARCH 26 / PEANUT BUTTER JELLY ROLL SPAY / NAPPING

WEDNESDAY

MARCH 26 2025

Up at 5:30AM. Hubby let the dogs outside for potty. 

At 6AM, the dogs tore out of the room. 

I got dressed & made the bed. 

PBJR had a little water. No food since last night. 

I cleaned cat litter. I put out Hubby's compression boots. He had a 40 minute session on the bed while I kept the dogs out.

Hubby took PBJR to surgery at 8:30AM. He checked her in with the front desk and reminded them to cut her toenails during surgery.

At 2PM, I called and the office said to come pick her up at 4PM. 

Then a few minutes later, another girl called and said she did her surgery very well. We could come pick her up.

Hubby got home at 3:30PM. We had a few minutes before we had to leave, so we put everything away in the house so Riley doesn't chew it. Put chairs up against sliding doors in office.

We took the FMF to the Virgin Valley Vet Hospital. I paid and got receipt with painkillers. They finally brought PBJR out. A guy was carrying her. I said he looked like a movie star, but could not place him. Hubby agreed with me. We finally decided Russell Crowe. He even talked like him.

Drove home. I got out with PBJR on a pillow and walked her inside. Hubby opened the door for me. I put her & the pillow on the sofa.

I covered her up with her blanket and put a heating pad on high over her. She had been having the shakes from the shock of surgery & recovery & drugs. She fell asleep right away. Poor drugged up little baby.

I was exhausted and took a nap on the sofa for 1 hour from 5PM to 6PM. I heard some weird noise and Hubby said that PBJR had woken up and was too hot. She was panting.

I immediately got up and got water for her. Hubby held the bowl for her so she could lap some up. 

Then we got her down off the sofa and took her out to potty.

We watched TV and kept taking care of PBJR. She slept most of the time. We kept taking her outside for potty when she would wake up.

Finally went to bed at 10PM. We were all tired. All the dogs went outside outside for potty one last time. I had already made the bed. 

Got everybody settled in bed and slept. 

TUESDAY / MARCH 25 /

TUESDAY

MARCH 25 2025

Hubby was up at 5:40AM with the dogs. Even Peanut Butter Jelly Roll got off the bed by herself!

They went out for potty.

Then Hubby fed them breakfast. He gave tuna, cheese, & milk to the cats. 

I was up by 6:15AM. 

I got dressed. Made the bed. Went to the kitchen to make a hot cinnamon/honey latte for Hubby, lavender/honey latte & hot tea for myself.

Hubby cleaned the cat litter. I picked up dog poo. 

I put haircolor in my hair and left it in for 1 hour. I put conditioner on it. Then left it in.

I put Hubby in his Normatec compression boots to help improve his leg circulation.

Then I put dirty clothes in washer. I cleaned up the kitchen. 

I did bookwork. 

Hubby & Tater left for the shop at 8:30AM. 

I put away clean clothes. I put away clean dishes. I made a fresh hot tea. Then Riley, Peanut Butter Jelly Roll and I went outside to sit in the sunshine. 

I rinsed out the conditioner in my hair then blew it dry. I went outside to sit again with the girls.

We came back inside at Noon.

I took some Tylenol and settled down for a nap. 

Then I got phone calls to confirm PBJR's Spay tomorrow; then another phone call to confirm my appointment at St George Med Spa on Friday.

Hubby & Tater got home at 4:30PM after dropping off packages at UPS store.

For dinner, Hubby had a burrito that a customer brought in today.

We watched TV. 

Some R&L Semi tried delivered a package from RockAuto which we had never ordered. It was sent to the incorrect address.

I played Ball with Riley.

Still hot at 83 degrees F by 7:17PM.

Watched TV and went to bed at 11PM.

MONDAY / MARCH 24 /

MONDAY

MARCH 24 2025

Up at 5:25AM. Hubby put the dogs out for potty. Then he sat on the sofa for a few minutes. PBJR was still in bed with me. I got up at 5:55AM. 

I got dressed. Went to the kitchen to make a hot cinnamon/honey latte for Hubby, made a Lavender/honey latte for myself. Also made Nanogreens. 

I took a hot bath which did not help my Lupus pain. 

Hubby gave me some Tylenol after I got out of the bath. 

Hubby made the bed and then I put him in the Normatec compression boots on Hubby and he laid in the bed for the next 40 minutes with PBJR. Hubby napped.

I loaded the dishwasher. Cleaned the kitchen. Picked up dog poo. Cleaned cat litter. Filled the water in the humidifier. 

Hubby got up after 40 minutes and put away his compression boots. 

Then he sat on the sofa watching YouTube videos until 8:30AM. 

Tater & Hubby left for the shop at 8:30AM in the FMF. PBJR really wanted to go with them and scratched at the front door.

I loaded clean clothes in dryer. Washed the dog blankets. 

PBJR and Riley sat outside with me in the sunshine for quite a while. From 10AM to 1PM.

Yogi and Company came at 1:10PM. Appointment time was 1PM. They proceeded to clean windows. 

Riley was upset and pacing. She barked at them. PBJR barked once, but was relaxed the rest of the time.

Hubby got home at 4:30PM.

We watched TV and went to bed at 10PM.

SUNDAY / MARCH 23 / DOG BATH DAY / CASABLANCA MASSAGES

SUNDAY

MARCH 23 2025

Hubby was up at 5:30AM with the dogs. I slept until 6:30AM. 

Hubby fed the dogs breakfast eggs, gave tuna, cheese, and milk to the cats. 

I got dressed, made the bed. 

Hubby carried the comforter to wash. 

Hubby gave me Cold Calm because I woke up with green snot.

I made cinnamon/honey latte for Hubby, made a lavender/honey latte for myself.

I washed my hair with purple shampoo in the tub at the front bathroom. Then I put conditioner in my hair with a baggie over it.

We went outside to sit on the patio with the dogs until 11:30AM. 

Then we washed the dogs in the shower. I bathed them. Hubby dried them off. 

I rinsed off my conditioner in the shower. Hubby took all the towels to the washer. 

Dogs went outside and tore around, then they rolled in their dog beds. They were SO CLEAN.

I dried my hair and hot ironed it. 

Hubby made turkey bacon in the air-fryer.

Hubby gave me more Cold Calm because my ears were hurting and I had a sore throat.

I sat outside with the dogs. It was a wonderful warm, sunshine day.

Hubby watched YouTube videos.

At 3:30PM, we put everything away. Closed all the doors. Put out a towel for PBJR to pee on. We took the FMF to Casablanca Spa for massages. I took some of the buckets to give away.

When we returned from Massages & Walmart, and got home we put the dogs out for potty. Only PBJR greeted me at the door! She had a little cut by her nose. Maybe fight with a cat? Nobody was whining or crying. All the tennis balls were on the floor. Nobody had peed! 

We cleaned everything up. Put away groceries. Hubby cut up the chicken and gave treats to the dogs. 

I made a chicken/cream cheese sandwich, but it was bland. 

I played Ball with Riley.

Watched TV. 

Both of us were exhausted from our massage. 

Went to bed at 9PM. 

SATURDAY / MARCH 22 /

MARCH 22 2025

SATURDAY

WE SLEPT LATE! We were up at 6:40AM. We petted the dogs. Peanut Butter Jelly Roll was sleeping on the pillow between us. Riley was at the bottom of the bed and came bounding, bouncing, happy to see us awake. Everybody started licking Daddy's face. Tater was sucking on his blanket. 

I got up and dressed. Hubby let the dogs out for potty.

I went potty. I went outside to clean up dog poo.

PBJR pooped on the patio, so we had to run hot water & I went outside to clean it off. 

Hubby got dressed. I went to the kitchen to make a hot cinnamon/honey latte for Hubby, hot tea for myself. Hubby warmed up the dog food and fed the dogs. All of them ate their own bowls. Even Riley ate her own instead of being picky. Hubby put out tuna for the cats. Hubby put out milk & cheese for the cats.

I warmed up turkey bacon for myself. We sat down to watch TV. Some guy on the YouTube was doing swap meet stuff and Hubby started reminiscing about toys he & his brother had gotten. Years that Hubby had gone to the Swap Meet in Puyallup with his friends.

Then Hubby cleaned cat litter. I cleaned the kitchen and started the dishwasher. 

My hands were really bothering with arthritis/lupus pain.

I dusted. I dusted the blinds in our room. I vacuumed the cat litter armoire and the front of the house.  Then I dumped the vacuum cleaner container. Hubby vacuumed the back half of the house while I steam cleaned the floors. I was exhausted and hurting after I was done. 

I made hot lavender latte for myself and warmed up my tea in the microwave. Then I sat down with Hubby until 1PM. Hubby dumped the vacuum cleaner container again. He washed out the vacuum clean cannister. 

I did bookwork. Put clean clothes away.

Hubby made Bruschetta and baked scallops. 

We watched Absolutely Anything with Simon Pegg then A Fantastic Fear of Everything. I fell asleep on the sofa for an hour. I was coughing. Riley slept next to me.

I woke up and Hubby put his shoes on. We put collars on the dogs. We took the FMF to Tractor Supply Center and took Riley & PBJR inside with us. Tater barked in the car. Picked up dog food.

PBJR was quite animated when going into the store. The dogs smelled everything and picked out the dog food they wanted.

Then we drove to the shop and tried to find the FedEx shipments that were delivered. They were not there. 

We drove to the USPS and Hubby put PBJR's DNA testing in the mailbox in the building.

We drove to the Info Center and walked the dogs. An ambulance drove past with sirens and Tater howled. Riley was scared. PBJR just stared at me.

Drove the back way highway to Beaver Dam to get Lottery Tickets. We saw a Tesla being towed off on a rollback, the people driving it were being picked up by a van Taxi from Utah.

Hubby got popcorn, but it was full of hulls. We drove back to Mesquite on the Interstate. A cop was hiding mid-way there on the side of the road. Lots of cars slowed down. One idiot tried to pull into us to get over. 

Then we drove to Walmart Falcon Ridge Car Wash. As we were getting off the interstate some idiot woman in a UTV tried to pull into our lane twice. We had to honk at her. Then getting off the drive into Walmart, a big white truck was just parked. We had to honk our horn again and he finally moved. I rolled my window down and screamed at him (he had his windows rolled up and was looking at his phone. Ignoramus) I also screamed at the woman who pulled over to park. I am totally finished being nice to these people stupid people that cannot make it in society and cause other people to have accidents. I am going to start calling them out. 

We washed the FMF in the car wash. Then we drove home. 

At home, let the dogs out for potty. PBJR just goes along with the gang now.

I found dried poop on the floor and had to clean it up. Then I went outside and picked up more poop.

Hubby sat down to watch YouTube. 

I blogged.

FRIDAY / MARCH 21 / RODNEY APPT / GS NAILS / LOTTERY TICKETS

FRIDAY

MARCH 21 2025

Up at 5:30AM. Hubby took the dogs out for potty.

I got up and dressed. I went to the kitchen to make a hot cinnamon/honey latte for Hubby. I made hot tea for myself.

At 8:30AM, after putting collars on dogs, we loaded the dogs into the FMF and drove to Heart of Dixie medical office. Left the dogs in the car while we went inside and had appointment with Rodney B. I requested refill meds for me Prednisone, and asked if Hubby could have a new med for Hubby, Piroxicam. Rodney will sign a referral to Desert Pain for Hubby's back pain.

Then we took the dogs to the Info Center for a walk. Drove out to Scenic to get Lottery Tickets. 

Drove back and went to Smith's for groceries. Left dogs in car. Saw Paul & Chris at the grocery store. They were behind us in line at the checkout. Paul DID NOT SAY A WORD. He is an odd duck.

We dropped packages off at UPS Store. Some stupid bitch tore into the parking lot, driving on the wrong side, pulled in front of us to BACK into a parking spot at the front of the UPS store, BACK AND FORTH several times. She was a fucking idiot. Took out 1 package from her car.

We drove home. Dogs were tired. I was tired.

Unloaded groceries. 

Hubby got a call from XXX to go fix his rear-end, but my phone showed that Hubby was at Mad Mike's the whole time. I finally called him and he said he would come home. I was upset that he lied to me about fixing a rear end and instead going to the bar. We had a fight.

At 2:30PM, we left the dogs at home. Put away anything they could eat. Shut the doors to the bedrooms. Put water & food out. 

Took the Jeep and Hubby dropped me off to get my nails done. I got Strawberry Latte color. Andy shortened them for me. Also, the Strawberry guy came in and I thought they were too expensive at $25, but Andy bought 2 pack for himself and us. 

Hubby got done at the Credit Union and came to pick me up. He came inside and Andy showed him the strawberries. Hubby started eating them. I got my toenails painted, too. 

Then Hubby sat down and got his fingernail fixed again. It is growing out well from where he cut it.

VIRGIN VALLEY 4X4 POKER RUN

I was up at 5AM and let Riley outside for potty. 

She went back to bed and I went to the sofa to sleep. 

I heard Hubby get up and let all the dogs outside for potty. Then I fell back to sleep. By the time I woke up at 7:30AM, he had fed the dogs and cats. 

Hubby was already dressed. I got up and dressed. Put on warm clothes because our spot on the Poker Run is supposed to be in the mountains. I put on my Under Armour shirt. Put on socks and boots. 

I packed a bag with cheese sticks, meat sticks, jerky, honey drops, water bowl, winter hat, and winter gloves. I even put in a roll of toilet paper. I took along some extra jeans for Hubby in case he has wet pants.

Hubby had already packed everything into the Jeep. Table, RMOR flag, Door prizes, buckets to hand out, chairs to sit in at the stop. 

I made a hot cinnamon/honey latte for Hubby, a hot tea for myself.

Hubby warmed up turkey bacon for me.

Hubby cleaned cat litter. Hubby washed his hair in the kitchen sink. 

I stayed at home with the dogs while Hubby drove to the shop in the FMF. 

When Hubby got back at 9:35AM, we loaded PBJR into the Jeep and left Riley & Tater home. 

I had made ANOTHER hot cinnamon/honey latte for Hubby because he left his other drink at the SHOP.

The Jeep would not start. 

The Jeep would not start. The battery was dead. 

Hubby put the charger on the Jeep. It would not take a charge. Hubby was really upset. I took PBJR for a walk down to the mailbox to see if we could mail her DNA testing tube, but it was too big to fit inside. So we came back and went outside to sit on the back patio with the dogs. 

Hubby called the President of the 4x4 Club and he said we could meet him at the First Point at the base of Limekiln. So we transferred everything into the FMF and drove up there. PBJR was excited. She fell asleep.

We met Tim, the president of the club. Then he gave us the bucket of Poker cards and a list of names we were to mark off. 

They left and then we started getting people driving their Jeeps and picking up their cards. EVERYBODY loved PBJR. I was so busy that I forgot to take pictures of our stop.

We had lots of fun handing out the buckets of candy, antiseptic gel, chapstick, and handcream. Everybody was happy to get a bucket.

We stayed there until 12:17 and only one person did not show up. We told Tim that we were leaving. 

Drove to Walmart to wash the car at the Falcon Ridge Car Wash.

Then we drove to Wendys to pick up burgers, chicken nuggets, and french fries for the dogs. 

At home, I unloaded PBJR. Ran into the house to pee. Then let the dogs outside for potty. 

I unloaded everything from the FMF. Hubby worked on putting the charger on the Jeep. For SOME STRANGE REASON, THE CHARGER HAD BEEN TURNED OFF THE ENTIRE TIME WE WERE GONE.

So Hubby started the charger again. 

Hubby left for the shop in the FMF. 

I did bookwork. I put away clean clothes. I put away clean dishes. 

Hubby worked as usual at the shop. It was a busy day.

At 3PM, he left and went to Mad Mike's for the winning results. He took the Door Prizes that we donated.

We had paid for the Live Music $200, a first round of beer for everybody, pizza, and hot wings-$300.

Hubby was home by 4:30PM. He brought some left-over pizza and hot wings. 

I had a slice of pepperoni pizza. Gave some to the dogs. 

I did bookwork until 7PM. Hubby sat with me in the office.

Hubby sat down to watch TV at 7PM.

WEDNESDAY / MARCH 19 / PBJR VET APPT

WEDNESDAY

MARCH 19 2025

I was up at 5AM to potty, then back to bed. Snuggled warm in the blankets with all the dogs. I petted PBJR as she was sleeping next to Hubby. Riley came over and kissed me on the face. Tater was at the bottom of the bed.

Hubby was up with the dogs at 6AM. He put them outside for potty. Dogs started playing. Hubby was busy feeding them egg breakfast. He gave tuna to the cats. 

I got up at 6:30AM and dressed. I went to the kitchen to make Hubby a hot Amaretto latte. Then I made hot tea for myself. 

Peanut Butter Jelly Roll started playing with Riley & Tater this morning. No 3/3/3 Rules for her, it took her 9 days to blend in with the family!

I cleaned up the kitchen and put dog bowls in the dishwasher. Hubby made turkey bacon for me. 

Hubby put dirty clothes in washer. 

I went to do bookwork.

Hubby put the dogs outside for potty again. 

Hubby left for the shop in the Dually at 8:30AM. 

I ddi more bookwork. 

I put away clothes. I put away the baskets that I had made for the Virgin Valley 4x4 Club Poker Run on Thursday. Put them in the bathroom so Riley could not chew them while I was gone.

At 9:30AM, I put everything else away and closed doors. Put collar on PBJR. Put her in the FMF. Forgot to close the garage door.

Drove to the Virgin Valley Vet on Hardy Way.

Checked In. Talked to a nice lady with a black Dachschund.

Then we were called back. Got to talk with the nice French doctor again. She took PBJR back for vaccines. Then she brought her out again. We scheduled surgery for her on WEDNESDAY MARCH 26 AT 8AM. 

I took her out and started to pay, but then the Vet came out and asked if I wanted to do an Ultrasound for her at $99-which would tell if she was already spayed. She took PBJR back, but some asshole with a mean, vicious dog attacked.

I sat at the other end of the office waiting for the asshole to say something to me, but he was a bully and a scared piece of shit. He refused to look at me. 

The guy was an asshole and the dog was aggressive. Should not have been there. The Vet brought PBJR out again and I picked her up to avoid the asshole guy with his dog. 

Then I took PBJR out to the car and the paid. The girl at the front desk remarked that she admired my earrings. 

I got my receipt and Rabies certificate and left.

Drove home. 

Gave the dogs some treats. 

Shut the garage door this time. 

Let the dogs out for potty. We sat on the back patio for a while because the sun was shining and there was very little wind.

I took some Melatonin.

Went to bed at 10PM.

TUESDAY / MARCH 18 / MOIST, CLOUDY, DARK / TALKED TO VERA R IN IDAHO

Up at MIDNIGHT because Rattler was screaming miaowing. I got up and went potty. Then took a flashlight to see if there was a snake, scorpions, rats, or a dead cat in the house. There was nothing. I put out some tuna for him and he finally was quiet.

I fell asleep on the sofa until 5AM when Hubby and the dogs were up for potty. Hubby told me to go back to bed. The bed was cold. I finally fell asleep again.

I slept until 6:00AM. 

Hubby let the dogs outside for potty. It was cold, windy, and cloudy.

I dressed and made the bed. Then I went to the kitchen to make a hot cinnamon/honey latte for Hubby, a hot tea for myself.

Hubby fed the dogs. He put out tuna, milk, & cheese for the cats.

I did bookwork. 

Hubby left for the shop at 8:30AM in the FMF.

We watched from the front door as he left. Peanut Butter Jelly Roll really watched as he drove away in the red car.

I did more bookwork. Put laundry in the washer to wash again. Watched TV.

 I did 2 loads of laundry and put them in dryer. Then I put themn away.

I did 2 loads of dishes in dishwasher and then put clean dishes away. 

I picked up dog poo and talked to our neighbor, Gary in the back yard. He asked about new dog. 

At 2PM, Hubby brought Joe H home to get his drugs that Cindy, his wife had shipped here. He said hello to our new dog.

I watched a TV show and packed the buckets for the Virgin Valley 4x4 Club Poker Run on Thursday.

I sat on the patio in the sun with the dogs. Hubby got home at 4PM. He stopped to wash the car at Falcon Ridge Car Wash.

Then we made grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup. The soup was weird. Threw it out.

We sat on the patio eating our dinner. Dogs barked at people walking past on the sidewalk.

We came inside when it got cold and windy. 

I cleaned up cat vomit on the floor and countertop. From Rattler, of course.

Vera R from north Idaho called at 5:30 and I talked to her for about 50 minutes. 

I did bookwork at 7PM. 

Hubby was ordering parts on his iPad. He was watching YouTube.
