SATURDAY
JULY 5 2025
Up at 5AM. Hubby took the dogs outside. PBJR was still sleeping in bed with me. I got up to potty and she finally left the bed. I let her out with the other dogs.
I went back to bed. Then Hubby came inside with the dogs. He slept on the sofa. I brought the dog blankets out for them.
I went back to bed again. Slept until 6AM.
I got dressed. Made the bed.
I went to the kitchen to make hot cinnamon/honey latte for Hubby, hot tea and Nanogreens for myself.
We cleaned up the kitchen. Put collars on dogs.
Loaded the dogs into FMF.
Drove to the Info Center. Let the dogs run wild. Until some car from California came and a guy got out, we had to get leashes on the dogs. I was getting water bottles out the back of the FMF when Hubby yelled at me. So I put collar on PBJR and Riley.
Guy left because the bathrooms were not open. Then we took the leashes off again. RILEY RAN AND RAN AND RAN. She was running after birds.
We put out water for them. Somebody had left a collapsible dog water bowl and I put more water in it for the birds that were drinking out of it. I left the water bottle.
We left there and drove to Littlefield the back way. Some motorcycle with an older guy in a pony tail got up close on our bumper, then passed us while speeding. He took off into the desert to cross the interstate via an underpass.
Hubby got lottery tickets and ice at Maverik. We drove back to Mesquite on the I-15. While getting on the interstate, Hubby NARROWLY missed a huge semi peel off tire that was in the middle of the road. That could have been bad.
I suggested that Hubby take 4th of July Krispy Kreme donuts to the Virgin Valley Jeep 4x4 Club Meeting this morning. He stopped at Smith's to get donuts. PBJR longingly looked out the window while waiting for him to return.

At home, Hubby started sending me pictures from the shop work to put on Instagram and Facebook. We have not posted since January.
We put up the dog food so PBJR cannot eat outside of meal times anymore. She has been gaining more weight. Hubby almost could not get her harness on her today!
Hubby left for the Virgin Valley Jeep Club meeting at the Pioneer Center at 10AM. He took 4th of July donuts for the meeting. Then he took the rest of the donuts to the guys at Roadrunner Tire store.

I put away clean clothes. I put away clean dishes.
I did bookwork. Hubby vacuumed the house.
Afterwards, dogs all took naps. We watched TV.
RILEY WAS EXHAUSTED FROM RUNNING AFTER BIRDS
I did work on my blog.
PBJR WAS NAPPING ON THE PATIO WHEN TATER CAME OVER AND SLEPT ON TOP OF HER
Got boxes delivered at front door. I did not hear them come. I conditioned my hair.
At 8PM, I made cinnamon/raisin bread for Hubby.

Hubby fell asleep on the sofa.
At 11PM, bread was done. Hubby had some.
Hubby took Benadryl and gave some to the dogs for sleep. Tater & PBJR are having allergies. PBJR has bumps and Tater has dandruff.
Went to bed.
