SATURDAY / MAY 31 / HUBBY AT SHOP ALL DAY / DRIVE TO VEGAS /WALK DOGS / SIN FRONTERAS

SATURDAY

MAY 31 2025

Hubby was up at 5AM with the dogs on the patio. He said it was already too hot then.

Up at 6AM. Hubby took the dogs outside for potty. 

I made the bed and got dressed. 

I went to the kitchen where Hubby had fixed breakfast for dogs and fed them. I put all the cat food on the counter, brought the dog food out of the bathroom. I closed the bedroom door because we don't want the cats in our room again.

I made hot cinnamon/honey latte for Hubby, hot tea and Nanogreens for myself.

Hubby had already warmed turkey bacon in the air-fryer for me. 

I did bookwork. 

Hubby still had laundry in the dryer & washer from last night.

Hubby left at 8:30AM to meet guys at shop by 9AM. 

Hubby was gone at the shop with customers, unloading camper on Dually, hooking up hitch (with Johnathan's help who happened to drive by the shop), placing the gooseneck hitch correctly. He went to pick up the gooseneck trailer from Pat's shop. 

Hubby finally got back about 2PM. I got ready, he put collars on dogs. I packed a bag with food, snacks for dogs, tea, water. 

We left and drove to Las Vegas to pick up the white truck that a customer had called about. 

Met Pat's brother that gave Hubby some stuff. 

Then Hubby stood out in the 106 degree temperature to load the truck (the customer was a weasly looking guy, very skinny, with no shirt - gross). 

Hubby almost had heat stroke when he got back into the truck about 40 minutes later. 

We drove around looking for a park to walk dogs. Finally found a place called Aloha Shores Park and walked dogs in grass. Both Hubby and I used the restrooms. There was a woman in my restroom that was humming...

We gave the dogs water and stayed in the shade of the trees. Nice breeze blowing that helped keep us cool.

We left there and drove to Sin Fronteras. Hubby went inside to order and get food. I waited in truck with dogs. Gave them some beef jerky. 

Hubby brought out food and I ate my street tacos. Hubby had ordered street corn and ate that. He also had a burrito, but waited to eat that at home. 

We drove back home. Some sporty car and another car in the left lane most of the drive on the interstate - everybody had to pass them on the right hand side. Finally, a copy pulled out and followed the sporty car for MILES. Sport car finally moved over. We pulled off and let the cop drive past us as Hubby did not have a license plate for the gooseneck (Pat has borrowed it-Lost? Stolen? Missing)

Stopped at Flying J - Hubby went inside to get donuts, beef jerky, and cheese curds.

 

We got home about 5:30PM. 

Let the dogs out for potty. Everybody was tired. 

Left the Dually & trailer with white truck on it parked out front of the house!

We watched TV for a while. 

Went to bed at 9:30PM.

FRIDAY / MAY 30 / RATTLER TO VET / MED SPA / MEDUSAS / DOGGY DAY CARE /

FRIDAY

MAY 30 2025

Hubby was up at 5AM with the dogs on the patio. He said it was already too hot then.

Up at 6AM. Hubby took the dogs outside for potty. 

I made the bed and got dressed. 

I went to the kitchen where Hubby had fixed breakfast for dogs and fed them. 

I made hot cinnamon/honey latte for Hubby, hot tea and Nanogreens for myself.

Hubby had already warmed turkey bacon in the air-fryer for me. 

I did bookwork. 

Left the dogs at home, closed all the bedroom doors. Put everything away. 

We took Robert to the Vet at 8AM. Some stupid old woman brought her child?grandchild? to the Vet and he screamed the whole time he was there. Could hear him in a back room. 

Finally got to see the vet at 8:15AM. She said it was HIV virus that all cats carry and it comes out at times of stress (us being gone a week on vacation?) Robert was the worst with sneezing. Rattler had appeared to get better after his emergency vet appointment the other day. 

Vet took Robert into the back room to adminster drugs. Then the assistant brought him out again. Hubby put Robert into the carrier. Vet joined us and explained more drugs- cream to put on ears to activate appetite, antibiotic pills, oral injection for anti-inflammatory.

We left. I ran into Betty at the front desk. She had taken her cat into the Vet. I paid and left. Hubby had already gone out to the car with Robert. 

We drove home. 

Hubby made himself a burrito quickly at home. I made more hot tea. I put on makeup. Then we got the collars on the dogs and opened all the doors. Left food & water for cats. Gave them their medications.

We left home and drove to St George on Interstate I-15. No problems until we were 1.5 miles from St George Blvd. Traffic was STOPPED. I had turned on my Waze because my time would not sync on my iphone. By the time I turned it back on again, we were stuck. The traffic started moving slowly. We found out there was an ACCIDENT on the Southbound side of the road, not the Northbound. All the cars that had stopped and slowed were just looky-loos. 

We got to Dogtown and found that somebody (2 weeks ago per the girl at Dogtown) had driven into the front of the building. There were plywood sheets over the front of the doors, The inside walls had buckled. Fortunately, nobody had been injured! The Progressive insurance agent was taking pictures as we left the dogs. 

They were going to give PBJR a temperment test to see if she could be with other dogs. 

RILEY WAS A GOOD GIRL AND HAD LOTS OF FUN AT DOGGY DAYCARE

We left there Dogtown and drove to my appointment at Medusas. We found a parking spot right in front. Lots of people driving like idiots downtown. Some guy tried to turn into an alley with a delivery truck taking up the whole lane. Then the guy drove past us on the curb!

We finally went inside and I picked out new earring. Then I got a nice girl named... Bree. She was nice. Kinda new and had to ask questions. Unsure. 

Finally got my piercings done. They are OK. Not really where I wanted them. 

We left there and drove to have lunch at Express Chicken on Sunset Boulevard. We had driven past it last time and wanted to try it. We parked on the side as the parking lot was small. Walked in and ordered a combo plate. The owner was very nice at suggestive upselling. He was friendly. I went to use the restroom while Hubby got waters, napkins, and plastic silverware.

We got our food, sat down, and ate. I really liked the chicken & beef ka-bobs. A little bit of lamb on the side, rice, and salad. 

While we were eating, I got a phone call from Dogtown. PBJR had failed her temperament test and had attacked another dog. No blood or injuries. But Tater had dived in to fight also. They were BRAWLING with other dog. 

We finished at Express Chicken. Drove back to get the dogs. PBJR and Tater had been put outside and were barking/probably with no water or shade. We got Riley as she was still playing with other dogs. We took them to the car where they downed 5 bottles of water in their water bowl. Hubby also dumped his water/ice  we had gotten from the restaurant into the dog bowl.

Drove me to the St George Med Spa. Hubby said he was getting sick. Felt like throwing up. He sat in the car while I went inside. I had to wait until 1:45PM because they were closed for lunch.

I got inside and changed my shirt in the restroom. 

Sarah got busy doing my Laser treatment on my face, armpits, and brazilian area. 

It really burnt on my brazilian area as I had forgotten the numbing cream.

Got done there about 25 minutes later and left. Tipped Sarah, gave $10 to the girl at the front desk for changing my appointment time because we had to take Robert into the Vet. 

We drove to Carl's Jr. and got burgers for the dogs, waffle fries, and a chocolate chip cookie for me. 

Drove the back way on the highway to I-15 thru Beaver. 

Stopped at Shivwits Reservation for fuel.

Hubby went into Beaver Dam Bar to buy lottery tickets in Beaver.

Got on the Interstate, drove to Mesquite. Hubby had to stop at the shop to get deliveries from UPS/Fed Ex. I was falling asleep.

Finally drove home. 

I took a nap from 4PM to 8PM. Woke up. 

TIRED BABY BRAWLER

Hubby said that all the dogs had slept just as long as I had slept. Watched a little TV. Went to bed at 10:30PM. 

THURSDAY / MAY 29 / CLEAN HOUSE / CALL VET

THURSDAY 

MAY 29 2025

Up at 5AM. Hubby took the dogs outside for potty. I got up, dressed, made the bed. 

Hubby put the comforter in the closet. 

I made a hot cinnamon/honey latte for Hubby, hot tea & Nanogreens for myself. I warmed up the egg & sausage & cheese casserole for myself.

I did bookwork. Hubby fed the dogs. He let the dogs outside again.

I cleaned cat litter. I vacuumed in and around the armoire. Then I vacuumed the house to the living room. Hubby took over from there. He vacuumed the living room rug, behind the sofas, the main bathroom, and the master bedroom.

With window cleaner, I cleaned the sliding glass door, the mirrors, Hubby's iPad. 

I washed & conditioned my hair again. I had put an overnight spray deep conditioner in it last night and woke up with STICKY hair.

Hubby called the Vet at 8AM because it sounds like Rattler is getting worse. Crackles in his chest/lungs, more sneezing, 

The Vet only had 8AM Friday morning available for Rattler. 

I had to call St George Med Spa and re-schedule for my appointment. 

So we will take the cat to the Vet, drive to St George and get my ears pierced again, then go to St George Med Spa to get my laser treatment.

Hubby & Tater left for the shop in the FMF at 8:39AM. 

I rinshed out my hair and put it up in a bun. Then I air diffused it while still in the bun. 

I went out back to pick up LOTS of dog poo. Then I put it in the garbage cannister.

At 9:30AM, Hubby called and asked if he left his billfold at home. I looked around and found it in the Armoire. He said he would drive home and get it. Hubby said Dog Daycare was missing one of the vaccinations for Peanut Butter.

I emailed Peanut Butter's records to Dogtown Daycare in St George.

I sat on the back patio for a while, recording bird song. 

A Gambel's Quail came to the front door and was squawking. I recorded the bird song.

I am exhausted already.

I took a short nap sitting on the sofa with PBJR under my arm. 

Belle, Raven, and Michelle came at 1:30PM. They loved on & petted PBJR and Riley. I showed Raven my shelves in the office. 

They left and Belle stayed so we could watch her. 

She played with the dogs. I brought the ball machine out and threw balls for Riley, then Belle threw balls for her. 

I put the ball machine away. Belle sat on the sofa and watched her iPad. She was sneezing a lot. 

Sage came out and miaowed. 

I took Riley & PBJR out to pick up dog poo. I gave them some crushed ice. The ice machine is not keeping up to making ice.

Hubby got home after putting customer's insurance check into Credit Union. Customer had to show up at bank to verify I.D. Pain in the ass.

Then Hubby & Tater got home at 4PM. We ate dinner at the kitchen counter. 

Belle was itching and asked for a Benadryl. Then she was itching her arm, so I put Calamine lotion on her. She has little round welts on her arm. 

Hubby got a phone call from Partzilla and got a return label. I printed it out.

I did bookwork for an hour.

WEDNESDAY / MAY 28 / TATER GOES TO SHOP

WEDNESDAY

MAY 28 2025

I was up at 5:45AM. Hubby had been up since 5AM with the dogs to take them out for potty. They sat out on the back paio.

Riley saw a bunny and barked-she ran after it. Hubby said she was quivering while watching the bunny.

I got up and dressed. Dogs came to see me in the potty.

I made the bed.

Hubby was making breakfast grog for the dogs. He fed them. Gave Rattler, Robert, and Sage some tuna.

I picked up bowls afterwards. Hubby put dishes in dishwasher.

I took clothes to washer and started it. 

I made a hot cinnamon/honey latte for Hubby, hot tea & Nanogreens for myself.

I did bookwork.

Hubby watched YouTube TV. The video where they are working on his old bronco that he gave to Mark.

I picked up dog poo.

Hubby did cat litter. I vacuumed armoire.

Hubby & Tater left for the shop in the FMF at 8:30AM.

PBJR, Riley, & I watched them go.

I put away clean clothes after getting them out of dryer.

UPS came and delivered my hair order from Sephora - mostly Amika products that have been helping with moisture to my hair.

I wet and conditioned my hair. Had it in for 2 hours.

Sat with the girls outside for a couple hours.

Rinsed my hair and styled it. Lots of curls.

Took a nap from 1PM to 3PM. Sweet. Hurt worse when I woke up.

Hubby got home at 3:45PM. He stopped to get fuel at Conoco Mesquite. 

Tater was hot. His feet are dirty. He laid on the cold floor for a while. Hubby gave him treats.

Rattler is still acting weird. He has lost lots of weight. His bones are showing. We gave him a little of the Cephalexin that we had left over from a vet visit before. He is still sneezing. I found him hiding in the pantry. He jumped on the file cabinet behind me in the office and is miaowing. 

We gave the Cephalexin to him and the other cats in tuna. 

Hubby is watching YouTube videos.

I did bookwork for 2 hours until 7PM.

Hubby brought me some strawberries and angel food cake.

I sat down on the sofa, totally exhausted from doing bookwork.

We watched TV for a while.

Dogs got zoomies and played.

Hubby fell asleep. 

I got up at 10:30AM and went to bed. Hubby put the dogs out for potty one last time and came to bed.

TUESDAY / MAY 27 / SUNNY & HOT /

TUESDAY

MAY 27 2025

Up at 6:15AM. I heard Tater bark from outside. Hubby had gotten up at 5AM and let the dogs out, then come back to bed. I stuck one leg out of the blankets because I was hot and all the dogs decided to get up for the day.

Hubby made breakfast grog for the dog (with no eggs) and fed them.

I got up, went potty. Dogs came to see me. I got dressed. Made the bed. 

I gave the dogs some more ice. Peanut Butter REALLY LOVES HER ICE. Chonk Chonk.

Then I made a hot cinnamon/honey latte for Hubby, I made hot tea and Nanogreens for myself.

I picked up dog poo outside. Dogs came outside with me. They barked at some old guy with a dog. The guy turned to say something, but I asked Tater to come back to the house. Rude Old Guy. Mind your own business!

As we were coming inside, Peanut Butter Jelly Roll had to go out to the fence and look around. She is really getting used to it here with the family. Blending in great!

Hubby said he had collected & taken all garbage bags out to the dumpster can in the street. The neighbors still had their friend's truck and trailer parked in front of Gary's house so we could not put the trash can there. 

I put dog poo in trash can. Hubby cleaned the cat litter.

I put the comforter in the washer because it stank so much. Like wet dog. I put a LOT of rinse in it that we had purchased yesterday. 

We watched some video shorts on YouTube. I dished up the egg/sausage/cheese casserole that Hubby had baked this morning, made yesterday and put in the fridge. It was wonderful.-soft but firm, delicious combination of ingredients. Best ever. But he said he could not remember how he made it. 

Hubby left for the shop in the FMF at 8:30AM. We hugged. Tater barked. We put his electric collar on him.

I put the comforter in the dryer. Had to let it go thru many cycles to get it dry. 

The UPS came and brought a couple boxes. Multi vitamins I ordered and some solar oil for my nails.

Dogs napped.

I took a nap from 1PM to 2PM when the stupid Vet called to verify that we had Rattler and wanted to add him as a "new Pet" after his Emergency visit yesterday. The ER had forwarded his info to them. 

I tried to rest on the sofa until 3PM when I had the Google alarm wake me up. I made more hot tea. 

I played Ball with Riley. I put the dogs out for potty. 

MONDAY / MAY 26 / MEMORIAL DAY / EMERGENCY VET FOR RATTLER IN ST GEORGE /GROCERIES AT WALMART & SMITH'S

MEMORIAL DAY

MONDAY

MAY 26 2025

Up at 5AM. I was hot and sweaty. Hubby had left the A/C on 72 degrees and I need it at 70 to sleep at night. 

I took all the dogs out for potty, then dressed. 

I brought the dogs back inside and then went potty myself in the front bathroom. Rattler surprised me by coming out from behind the toilet where he was hiding. He had snot and spittle running down his mouth, it was soaked. He sneezed and covered me in spittle. His ears were hot and his eyes looked vacant. I thought he was dying.

I woke Hubby up and told him about Rattler. Hubby got dressed. I made the bed. Hubby made breakfast for the dogs and fed them. I made hot tea for myself, hot cinnamon/honey latte for Hubby.

We loaded the dogs in the FMF and drove to St George Emergency Vet. 

We arrived at the Vet approximately 7:30AM (St George time) and Hubby waited in the car while I carried Rattler in his kennel into the Vet. After some woman poke her head out and said that she was just waiting, a rude fat girl met me at the desk finally came out and told me they were not accepting patients until 8AM (St George time - it would be 7AM Mesquite time). She said they were changing staff and the present doctor was not accepting any more patients. So I turned around and left. 

We took the dogs to the Convention center to walk them on the grass. Tater pooped, but it was runny and I could not pick it up. Riley pooped and I picked it up. 

Hubby put Rattler's kennel on the grass so he could smell the grass.

We gave the dogs water and left. I threw away the water bottles and poop in the garbage cannisters next to the electric charging stations, next to a Cybertruck. Stupid Fuck. 

Drove BACK to the Emergency Vet and Hubby took Rattler inside at approximately at 8AM. The doctor took a chest x-ray and prescribed antibiotics-gave him a shot. He had an Upper Respiratory Infection. 

We drove back to Mesquite. 

Unloaded dogs at the house. I cleaned the inside windows of the FMF while Hubby went potty. 

Then I made more hot tea. 

We left the dogs at home and put everything away so they would not chew anything. We drove to Walmart to get groceries. Then we drove to Smith's to get groceries. I was out of energy and there were lots of rude people there (as usual-always rude people there). Got groceries- milk. My Insurance benefit credit card would not work. It showed the balance, but would not process.

We loaded groceries then drove home. 

Some idiot guy on a motorcycle was splitting lanes. Not allowed in Nevada.

At home, Hubby unloaded groceries. I unbagged groceries. Hubby put away groceries. 

I took a nap at NOON to 2PM. 

Hubby made breakfast bake casserole. Made Dog grog. He air-fried some chicken apple sausages. He cut up strawberries. 

I had purchased some Memorial Day cupcakes, but the frosting tasted like gasoline. What a waste of money.

I played ball with Riley at 2PM-2:30PM.

Hubby finally cleaned up the kitchen and sat down to watch YouTube videos at 2:30PM.

I conditioned my hair. Hubby let the dogs outside for potty & to sit in the sunshine to warm their bellies.

 

Rattler is still sneezing. He came out and sat next to me on the sofa for a while. 

SUNDAY / MAY 25 / PEDICURES / MASSAGES / EMPANADAS

SUNDAY

MAY 25 2025

Up at 6AM. Dogs went outside with Hubby. I got up and went potty. Dogs came to see me in the bathroom. I petted them all. 

I got dressed and made the bed.

Hubby started making dog grog with eggs and fed everyone. I had to give tuna to Riley before she would eat a little bit of her dog grog.

Rattler came down from the cabinets where he has been hiding. I think his Benadryl wore off, but he is still acting weird. We did not find any vomit this morning. Yet.

I made a hot cinnamon/honey latte for Hubby, hot tea for myself. 

Rattler spent the day hiding. On top of the kitchen cabinets, under the beds, in the front bathroom, on the display units in the living room. 

RATTLER SICK

We started washing laundry. Left at 8:30AM to go get a Butter Buddy chicken sandwich for me at Wendy's. Hubby filled the Dually with Diesel while I went inside to order. Hubby wanted a Baconator. 

I came outside and got into the Dually, we drove to the shop and got the FMF out of storage and put the Dually in storage on the other side of the building. Then we got fuel in the FMF. Hubby had loaned it out to Johnathan while we were gone. It was filthy dirty and had no fuel. 

We drove to Mesquite Conoco on the corner and filled it up with fuel. Then we drove to the car wash to get it washed. 

Afterwards, we drove to GS Nails and had our Pedicures done by Andy at 9:30AM. 

Had to watch the Indy 500 that was on the TV at the salon.

By 10:30AM, we were done and drove home.

At home, we let the dogs outside and gave them treats. 

Watched YouTube TV. 

I took a nap. 

Then we got ready to go for Massages at 3:30PM. We locked up everything again so the dogs could not destroy things. Shut the bedroom doors. 

Drove to Casablanca Spa and parked in the back. All the steel is gone from the lot next to where we park. 

We got changed. (Karen is not there anymore-she got re-positioned to Virgin Valley) Chelsea was there with everything filled out for us and our robes, keys, and footwear ready. She is great. Gets her $5 everytime. 

We waiting in the waiting area. They had lemonade, tea, lemon water, cucumber water available. Hubby had an orange before we went to massage. I had dog cookies (from Spencer) for Kim, and a rock for Bella that I gave to Raven. 

We got the massage. I was on the opposite side of the room this time. 

Then we left and had showers. I had forgotten my locker key, but Raven came out of the massage room and gave it to me. 

The showers were running and hotter than hot in the locker rooms. 

I took a nice massage. I got out before Hubby. He came out, we paid. Then we went to the Empanada truck in the main pool area. They had sold out of everything. There was only ham&cheese, truffle mushroom, and spinach left. Hubby got one of each.

We left there and drove home. I decided I was still hungry and wanted tacos at Del Taco, so we drove thru. Hubby got taco hamburgers, I got 2 plain tacos.

At home, we ate. Empanadas were good, but not the flavor I wanted. 

I had diarrhea later, I think it was too much food today. 

We watched TV for a while - Wild, Wild West. 

Then I went to bed early at 9:30PM. I was up later at 10PM with diarrhea again. Had cramps and took a hot bath. 

Hubby finally came to bed at 11PM. 

SATURDAY / MAY 24 / HOME REST / DOING BOOKS / RE-PACK CAMPER

SATURDAY

MAY 24 2025

Hubby was up at 5AM with the dogs and let them out for potty, then they all came back to bed. 

I was up at 6:00AM and went potty. All the dogs stayed in bed. I got dressed. Went to the kitchen and put out tuna for the cats. 

Then I started to make a hot latte for Hubby with Amaretto. The cinnamon was still in the camper. Have to unpack it. I made hot tea for myself.

I started to make dog grog for the dogs. I put in chicken, dog grog mix, 1/2 slice of the cheese pizza that Hubby brought home last night. 

I dished it up and the dogs came out of the bedroom. I put them out for potty so the dog grog could get cooler. 

I put away clean dishes from last night washing. 

Dogs came in and ate breakfast. I had to hand-feed Riley's to her. Then PBJR finished Riley's food. I gave Riley a can of Tuna. 

Rattler is sneezing. And vomiting everywhere. I cleaned more vomit from the rug in the living room. Betty brought over sickness from her cats. 

I put away everything and started the dishwasher again. 

I took the dogs out and sat on the patio until 8PM. The dogs were instantly up and wanted to come inside. I thought Hubby had gotten up. He was still in bed. Dogs ran into the bedroom and all of them got on the bed. Hubby got up and dressed.

I helped Hubby make the bed.

I did bookwork. Hubby made breakfast for himself. I re-warmed his latte. 

We had to re-do an invoice for Colleen H. Because we got a partial payment from her insurance company. It was a big PAIN IN THE ASS.

While it was still cool outside, I put all the clean comforters in the camper. I put clean sheets on the pillows. I put away clothes and clean silverware. Put new batteries in the flashlights. 

Hubby decided to give Rattler 1 Benadryl. Rattler started to lose his mind. He is loudly miaowing and has dilated eyes. He is foaming at the mouth. He jumps up on the highest cabinets in the kitchen. Then Sage started sneezing while she was crawling around on the desk in my office. 

I am still doing books at 1PM. Hubby is watching YouTube videos.

I got done with bookwork at 2:30PM. I took a nap on the sofa until 5PM. 

I walked to the mailbox to get the mail.

When I returned home, I took a hot bath. 

Hubby was busy making grilled onions for me. We made a grocery shopping list.

Watched Wild, Wild West re-runs on TV. Went to bed at 9:30PM. 

Hubby came to bed at 10:30PM.

FRIDAY / MAY 23 / GS NAILS /WENDYS/ HUBBY TO SHOP, UPS, AZ DMV

FRIDAY

MAY 23 2025

I got out of bed to go potty at 3:30AM. I set my alarm on my phone for 5AM and slept on the sofa. 

At 5AM, I was awoken by the alarm and turned it off. I got dressed and Hubby got up to let the dogs outside for potty. 

I went to the kitchen to make a hot latte with Amaretto for Hubby (the cinnamon was still outside in the camper). I made a hot tea for myself.

Hubby warmed up dog grog for the dogs and fed them. 

I put more laundry in the washer/ took clothes out of dryer. 

Put away clothes from last night. 

We locked up everything so dogs could not get into stuff. Put their water & food out. 

We took the Jeep to GS Nails. Hubby dropped me off, he went to get fuel at Flying J. Then he drove back and picked me up. 

I had Andy fix my broken index finger nail and then cut them short. I did pink and white. They look awesome.

Hubby picked me up. Andy came outside to say Goodbye. 

We drove to Wendy's to get breakfast sandwiches, then drove home. 

I ate my chicken buddy butter sandwich at home and had some fries with it. 

Picked up dog poo outside. Cleaned cat litter. Vacuumed around armoire. 

Hubby vacuumed the house. 

Hubby put away more clothes. He went out to the Camper and brought in the two comforters from the bed.

He watched TV for a while. I made more tea. 

Then Hubby realized he had to called Insurance company to eliminate some vehicles and insure a trailer that we have had for over 1 year.

Hubby then went to the shop to pick up parts in the USPS mail box, go to UPS and drop off returns, and go to Arizona DMV to register a trailer. 

I did bookwork when my computer finally hooked up to Internet. I had to unplug it, turn it on again, then wait. 

I paid bills, insurance, utilities, etc.

I put dog outside for a while.

I placed a couple Sephora orders for hair treatments. 

Hubby got home and brought Pizza from Sbarros. He had customers at the shop when he got there to pick up packages from the USPS mail box. He had registered the trailer at the AZ DMV. 

I straightened my soft hair from the treatment I had last night. 

I took a nap. Woke up 4 hours later at 8:30PM. 

I helped Hubby fold the comforters from the dryer. I helped Hubby put away the last of the clothes we washed and dried. 

Hubby was watching YouTube videos.

THURSDAY / MAY 22 / ARRIVE BACK IN MESQUITE NV

THURSDAY

MAY 22 2025

Hubby walked dogs at 6AM. I made a hot cinnamon/honey latte for him. Made hot tea for myself.

I warmed up dog grog eggs for dogs and fed them after he came back with dogs from potty.

We packed up camper and made sure back door was shut.

Picked up donuts at Dunkin Donuts in Wells, NV. They were not good. Prices had gone from $1.89/per donut when we were there one year ago to $2.19/per donut when we were there this time. 

Drove from Wells, NV thru to McGill, NV where we walked dogs in the big grassy park. (Abandoned mining town - mostly trumper town). 

Stopped at gas station in Ely. Got gas. Drove thru their new concrete RV Park. Quite nice. 

Got lunch at Carl's Jr. Fed dogs. Chicken tenders, cheeseburgers, onion rings, waffle fries. 

Drove thru to Panaca and walked dogs at LDS church on the grass.

Drove thru to Enterprise and got fuel at the Co-op there. (the town where Riley was born!)

As soon as we got past Enterprise, it got really windy thru the mountains. 

Drove thru St George, got on the Interstate 15. It was 103 degrees! OMG. 

Lots of wind coming into Mesquite. 

Arrived in Mesquite at home by 3PM. 

Unloaded dogs. As I was letting dogs outside, PBJR was walking really slowly and I could not hold myself, pissed my pants. Had to take them off and took a shower. 

I conditioned my hair with new conditioner I bought at Sephora. It came out really soft. 

Hubby unloaded lots of stuff from camper. We started washing clothes and doing laundry. 

Putting things away from camper. 

Hubby gave the dogs at bath at 7:30PM. I helped dry the dogs. 

PBJR almost walked into the shower by herself. Tater walked in by himself after I called him. 

Riley did NOT run away, but I had to carry her. 

We watched TV for a while. 

I had to take Prednisone, my left hand ring finger had intense pain from joint. 

Went to bed at 9PM. All of us were tired.

WEDNESDAY / MAY 21 / LEAVING BURNS, OR / CAMP AT WELLS, NV

WEDNESDAY

MAY 21 2025

Hubby walked dogs at Burns, OR RV Park. We had to keep killing mosquitoes every time he opened the camper door. 

I made a hot cinnamon/honey latte for Hubby, hot tea for myself.

I made the dog grog breakfast and fed dogs. 

Then we packed up and loaded dogs into the truck one by one. 

There was an old guy in the RV across the way that had a huge fluffy white dog. He waved at Hubby and Hubby wandered over to their camper. The dog was resisting to go back into their camper and Hubby helped them load the dog. Why have a dog you can't lift?

Then we left there and drove back into Burns and got lattes at the latte stand. Had to wait in line for quite a while because the car in front of us got 2 iced/cold drinks and it took over 10 minutes to make?

We stopped in the triangle park one last time. Walked the dogs again.

Left Burns and drove straight thru to Onatario, OR. On the highway, they had road construction, moving rocks, painting the road, digging out the side ditches. We had to wait by a light at the side of the road for a pace car/truck to come lead us thru the single lane road. 

In Ontario, OR, we stopped for fuel at the same truck plaza again. Hubby got Heath/Skor bars for me. We walked the dogs at the marijuana store again in the grass. 

Then we drove along the river on Highway 30, but could not find the town we stopped with Tater & Wilson. Found some really pretty waterfalls and an RV park we drove thru, but decided to keep driving. 

Drove to Twin Falls where we turned south on highway 93 and drove to Jackpot where we walked the dogs in the big grassy field in front of the casino. Heard cows mooing in a trailer parked by the road. It was sad.

Then we loaded dogs and drove to Wells (behind some really slow semi trailers - one which was an oversized load).

Got to Wells at 8PM. Picked out an RV Camp - Mountain Shadows RV Park. Hubby said nobody there. He called. She came out of house. One orange cat walking around camp. Another tuxedo cat walking around - black and white.

We got our spot and decided to get dinner at the Iron Skillet. Left dogs in camper and ate dinner. As usual, only one waitress on duty and she was over worked. Finally calmed down. Sat across from a black couple that the woman bowed her head while her husband had gone to get them coffee in the gas station. I asked if she was OK. She said yes. 

We had dinner. I had chicken fried steak with onions. Hubby had chopped beef steak with loaded baked potatoe and salad with thousand island dressing. I had water, Hubby had coffee.

We paid and left. They had no desserts as advertised - cheesecake & chocolate cake. Boo. 

We walked around gas station to see if they had cake. Out of luck.

Drove to the RV park. Hubby hooked up electric & water. We walked the dogs out back. Tater refused to poop for 2nd day in a row. All dogs peed. 

We put them in camper. 

All of us in bed. Trains came by and sounded like the railroad track was next door. Three trains went past every 45 minutes. I finally fell asleep.

Not a good night's rest. 

TUESDAY / MAY 20 /MOSQUITOES AT BURNS RV PARK

MAY 20 2025

Hubby walked the dogs in the fenced dog park at the Reservoir campground. 

I made hot cinnamon/honey latte for Hubby, hot tea for me. 

I warmed up the dog egg grog breakfast and the dogs ate. 

We broke camp and made sure everything was packed. Hubby bungeed the back door.

We drove to the property one last time and walked around again. 

Then we drove into Prineville. Stopped to get another latte. 

Drove to KRL's in Bend. Met them at the lunch place called Cross Cut Warming Hut No. 5. More Brew pub and food trucks. I was done with food & drinks. I had water and no food. Pooped several times in the almost dark (one tiny light bulb on wall) bathroom around the side of building.

Hubby had pizza with kids. He said it was really good.

We left there. Kids went home. We drove around and found Sephora. I shopped there and found face cream, hair conditioner. 

Drove to Lowe's to get ladder. Matched the kids ladder we had been using. 

Then we drove to kids' house to drop off their ladder, leave the punch card for burritos, pick up compression socks that I had ordered from Amazon for Hubby.

Walked the dogs one last time at KRL's around the neighborhood before we left.

We turned around at the high school because Hubby turned wrong and we had to turn around. Saw JIM LOPEZ waving at us across the street. 

We got on the road to Highway 20. Quite boring ride. Drove all the way to Burns, OR.

Got fuel again and walked dogs at big park, but got attached by mosquitoes. Which was really odd. 

Stopped and got groceries at the Safeway. Both of us had to use the bathroom. Got strong paper plates, paper towels, scissors. My fingernail was cracked when I had made the bed this morning and I wanted to get Crazy glue to fix it. 

Loaded groceries in Camper. 

Drove to Triangle park to check and see if ladder was there. IT WAS NOT. Walked dogs. I sat down to look something up on my iphone and Riley jerked out of my hands. The string of the leash broke my left hand index finger clean off. It was bleeding. I yelled at Riley to calm down.

Tried to find my fingernail to glue back on, but the grass was too thick to see the red nail. HOWEVER, Hubby found somebody else's nail. Gross. 

Then we stopped at the RV park in Burns. Hubby paid at the office. We found out that the people there were nazi freaks (trumpers) it was horrible. We will NEVER stay there again. 

Got out and was bombarded by mosquitoes again. Hubby said that the office guy had said that the levee broke and flooded the town. The RV park was covered in mud. No place to walk dogs. It was awful. Loaded dogs one by one because so much black mud and mosquitoes. 

Finally got dogs loaded. We had dinner. Gave dogs some food. 

We got loaded into bed and went to bed immediately. 

Killed several mosquitoes before bed. 

I opened the top vent for air flow. It was humid and not very good. 

Sleep was not good tonight.

MONDAY / MAY 19 /DRONE PROPERTY / MEET NICE NEIGHBOR /

MAY 19 2025

Up early again and Hubby took dogs for walk in the fenced dog park. 

I made hot cinnamon/honey latte for Hubby, hot tea for myself.

Warmed up burritos to eat for us. 

I warmed up dog grog for the dog breakfast. 

Dogs ate when they came back to the camper. 

On the way to property, it rained, was sunny, then got cloudy. 

Stopped a guy walking on the road. He happened to be a neighbor with lots of info. 

 

We packed up camp and met Spencer, Spencer had DRONE and flew the property.

Let Riley and Tater free roam the property again. They had lots of fun. PBJR was still on leash. 

We packed up and left. 

Drove into Prineville to eat with Spencer at Crossroads diner.

Got good lattes at Coffee place. Walked dogs at park again. Lots of furry dog hair from somebody who had brushed dog. 

I had to go potty badly, the restrooms were NOT OPEN at the park. Hubby pulled down a side street and opened camper. I had diarrhea badly.

Then we drove over to get cedar at the Lumber yard.

Loaded cedar into back of camper. 

Stopped at Buy-Rite again. Got more candy and more foot cream booties. 

Used the restroom there. 

Drove back to property again. Let the dogs free roam. Let PBJR off the leash. 

I was calling Riley and noticed that it was another dog with a collar. NOT RILEY.  On our property. We grabbed all the dogs and put them in the truck. The strange dog ran down the hill and disappeared.

We re-did the lines for the house. Measured accurately this time with the tape measure. Re-planted the stakes. 

Then I went to the truck because I was tired. Too much walking. Gave some treats to the dogs.

Hubby walked across to the neighbors next door and talked to them for quite a while. 

We packed up all the stakes and measuring stuff and drove to the Reservoir and parked in our camping spot. Walked dogs again in the fenced dog park.

Put dogs in camper. Hubby took a shower at the shower house while I got into bed with the dogs. 

Hubby got back from the showers and came to bed. 

We were all in bed by 9PM. It was quite cool again and I opened the top vent and the side windows. Dog curled up with us. Hubby covered them with the comforters. Nice and warm.

 

SUNDAY / MAY 18 / LAID OUT PROPERTY LINES

MAY 18 2025

Got up early and walked dogs around the neighborhood. Around the model homes. Sat on the porches. Dogs had fun, one of the homes had a bubbling pond. Some woman walked her Boxer around. Tater had to growl.

Then went to Burrito place and ordered burritos. 

We loaded dogs into truck and drove Ace Hardware to try and find ladder, but no luck. Got Carl's Jr sandwiches for dogs to eat. 

Hubby saw truck at Ace Hardware he wanted to buy. 

Then went to Burrito place and ordered more burritos because they are closed Monday and Tuesday.

We back to kids' home to give them burrito. We stopped and got lattes in Bend. We drove to Prineville in our truck/camper, kids drove in Spencer's truck. 

Laid out property lines and let the dogs roam free. Kept PBJR on leash. Tater & Riley had fun free roaming the property.

Spencer could not do drone coverage as it was too windy. KRL needed restroom and used our camper, then she had a donut. KRL was getting hypoglycemic. 

We packed up dogs and drove to Brew Pub in Prineville to get beer and food from Food Trucks. KRL was in the bathroom for quite a while. 

After eating, we left. Took dogs to Huge park in Prineville. Drove around Prineville to see what was around. Drove every street in town. Stopped at Buy-Rite to get food, hand cream, foot cream, foot file for me as my feet were dry and brown. Got bags of flavored popcorn. Went potty.

Stopped at Arby's to get burgers for dogs, chicken sandwich for me.

Drove to Reservoir to camp. Walked dogs in fenced dog park right behind our camper. 

I took a shower in our shower. It leaked across the floor. Nothing to hold water in on the corner and it drips down the shower curtain. But I was clean and I washed my hair. Felt nice. 

Went to bed early; about 9PM. Hubby stayed up looking at pictures because there was no Internet in park.

Slept REALLY GOOD. Dogs cuddled it was cooler about 40 degrees. Opened windows and had fresh air flowing thru.

SATURDAY / MAY 17 / LEAVE TWIN FALLS / ARRIVE IN BEND, OR

SATURDAY

MAY 17 2025

I helped Hubby walk dogs in the fenced dog park. I picked up everybody's poop. Tater's was runny poo.

Some guy brought his little dog to the dog park, but used the other side. We left with the dogs.

Packed up camp and left. 

Met guy with the UTV at the Lowe's parking lot. He paid and loaded the trailer with UTV onto his truck. Talked with his son-in-law. Guy petted the dogs.

We stopped at coffee place to get lattes. 

Drove to Carl's Jr and got breakfast. 

Stopped at donut place. Rude mormon family of 8 walked in front of us. We picked out donuts hurriedly. They were good. 

Got fuel and left town. 

Drove on I-84 to Boise. Then on to Ontario, OR. Stopped at gas station to get fuel. Walked dogs at marijuana building with huge doobie on top of sign. They had grass and doggie bags. 

Left there and drove thru to Burns, OR. Stopped to get fuel at Burns. Walked dogs at Triangle park. Lost steps when Hubby failed to walk around the back of camper. We had both used the bathroom and he forgot to close the door and put steps inside. 

So we drove thru to almost outside of Bend, OR before some nice guys in a truck passed us and motioned that the door was open. Hubby pulled over, fixed door and discovered steps missing.

We drove on into Bend and got there about 4PM. 

Kids did not want dogs in house because they had planted new grass. 

We walked our dogs thru the neighborhood and then put them in truck. We drove following kids to Brew pub with food. Left dogs in truck.

Got done with dinner, drove back to kids' home. We parked truck. Walked dogs again around neighborhood. 

We went to bed at 9PM.
