Up at 4:15AM when the alarm rang.
I got up and let the dogs out. Hubby made the bed.
I put the dogs out.
I gave shredded cheese and tuna to the cats. I put out dog kibble for the dogs.
Hubby gave the dogs clean water. I started the ice maker.
I made a hot latte for Hubby, hot tea for myself.
We put harnesses on dogs and loaded them into the Dually.
Drove to Bunkerville. Walked dogs in soccer park. They had mowed, so the big gates was wide open. Doesn't anybody ever close anything behind them?
It is much easier to keep track of Tater side we put a "blue light special" on his collar. A little clip-on blue light. Makes it easier to find him in the dark.
I threw BALL for Riley. PBJR panted and walked next to us.
We gave them water. All of them were exhausted from the heat & humidity.
I walked to the garbage can and threw away the empty water bottles.
Loaded them into the Dually. Drove back home with windows up and A/C on full blast.
At home, unloaded dogs. Took off harnesses. The baby brawlers collapsed on the cool floor tiles.
Hubby left for St George in the Dually. He has to pick up/return parts. He also stopped at The Crepery to get crepes for us. While he was there waiting for the food, he drank his favorite hot latte there. In a mug. He said the mug makes it better.
I went to the sofa and napped until 9AM.
Hubby was back by 9AM and dropped off the crepes. Then he left for the shop.
I put away clean clothes. I put away clean dishes.
I picked up dog poop outside and played BALL with Riley afterwards. The other dogs just napped ont he hot concrete.
Watched TV today. I was very tired.
Took another nap in the afternoon.
Hubby got home at 4PM.
I got the bed ready for bed time. Put the comforter on it and PBJR's favorite blanket.
We got into the hot tub at 6PM.
Stuart went outside. He had to be let inside because he was hot.
We watched heat lightning in the mountains all night. It was scary. Hope no fires start.
Then Stuart went outside just before bed at 9PM.
Rattler escaped just before bedtime. I had to walk over to the neighbors to get him. Hubby stood on the patio while I got him with a flashlight. Had to carry him back. He had been rubbing up against one of the rocks in the neighbor's yard.
We went to bed.
