SATURDAY / END OF JULY 2021/UTV IN ST GEORGE

SATURDAY

7-31-2021

 

 

 

 

Up at 7AM. I had gotten up at 4AM to potty and drink water. 

Hubby was already up and watching Automotive shows on TV. Hubby had already let the dogs out for potty.

He fixed breakfast eggs for the dogs. 

I made the bed and dressed. 

Then I made lattes & Nanogreens in the kitchen.

I cleaned up breakfast dishes and started the dishwasher.

I took water out for the bird bath. I filled the dogs water container outside.

I picked up dog poo.

 

I started working on bookkeeping. Hubby decided to hire Chris, so I have to add him to employee log in Quickbooks.

 

We drive to St George to look at a UTV that Hubby wants to purchase. It is from a dealer that purchases re-buildables. 

Dogs were with us, can't drop them off at Doggy Day Care as they are full for the day.

As we get into town, Hubby notices Casey right behind us in their car. We drive to Washington, UT and find the garage shops. Casey and Hubby go look and test drive the UTV. Addy comes to sit with me in the truck. Addy plays I-Spy with me. Then we walk the dogs around on the hot sidewalk and rock so they can potty. 

 

Hubby says he is coming back with the trailer on Monday to buy the UTV. 2021 Polaris XP4 1000-S Turbo.

 

Hubby and I give the dogs water right away as they are hot.

Hubby comes out as Addy and I bring the dogs back from the walk. She gets in their car and we take off. Drive around looking at the various garage/shops in this area. 

 

Then we drive to Arby's for sandwiches. 

 

 

We drive home. It was cloudy and threatens to rain. 

Hubby stops to get lottery tickets.

We stop at the shop when we get back to Mesquite. Hubby unloads garbage into the pickup so that he can take it to the Mesquite Landfill on Monday morning. We pick up the hats that were embroidered. I look at the lockers that Chris built this week.

At home, we unload everything. 

I eat the rest of my chicken sandwich. 

I put away clean dishes. I put away clean clothes. 

CLOUDY WITH A STRONG CHANCE OF RAIN

7-30-2021 

 

 

 

Awake at 4AM when the Roomba started. I thought Hubby had gotten up and was vacuuming. I reached out on the bed and he was STILL IN BED. It scared me. He got up and turned off the vacuum.

Hubby could not go back to sleep, so he went on the sofa and watched Automotive shows until I got up at 6:30AM. He made breakfast eggs for the dogs & fed them. 

Let dogs outside. I picked up dog poo. I put water in the bird bath. 

Hubby left at 7:30AM so that he could go to AZ to pick up the Title for the Can-Am UTV. They never mailed it to us.

I cleaned breakfast dishes and started dishwasher. I started Roomba in our bedroom. 

I put laundry in washer and started it.

I did bookwork. 

I crocheted more pumpkins.

I soaked my feet in hot, epsom salted water. 

I put away clean laundry. I put away clean dishes. 

Hubby called me later. I told him to have Chris put together the lockers we bought for the shop.

Hubby went to drop off a UTV tonight. 

Then he and Casey went to look at a truck they might purchase. 

Hubby finally got home after 6PM.

I took Marijuana and went to bed early.

Nasty neighbors came back tonight. I don't anticipate they will stay as it is still too hot here.

THURSDAY AND MAKING PUMPKINS

Up at 5:45AM. 

 

Dogs were still in bed with me. 

 

Hubby was on the sofa in the living room already watching his Automotive shows.

 

I got up and dressed. Went to the kitchen. Hubby was just feeding dogs their morning egg breakfast. He had already let the dogs outside.

 

I made lattes & Nanogreens. 

 

Hubby got a phone call from Wayne. He had taken his UTV on to the Mesa and it broke down. Hubby left at 8AM with his truck & trailer to go get him. 

 

I was cleaning the grille outside because it was cooler today. Only 89 degrees instead of 100. I cleaned the table top and washed off the chairs.

Tater and Wilson stayed home with me today. Lots of inside/outside.

I vacuumed. I started the Roomba. 

I did two loads of laundry. I cleaned up breakfast dishes and put away clean dishes. 

I crocheted pumpkins today. 

I did bookwork.

Brought in boxes of cleaner that UPS had left at the front door.

Hubby and Casey had to go see the truck on Hafen that is for sale. Then Hubby got home late at 5PM.

7-28-2021

 

 

 

Up at 6AM. 

 

Made the bed. 

 

Hubby made breakfast for dogs and fed them. He let them outside.

 

I put water in the bird bath. I picked up dog poo.

 

Hubby had brought in packages that he found outside on the front step from yesterday.

 

I filled out application online for MACU. The online app would not work last night. 

 

I wrote out the check for the rent at the shop and walked down to the post box to mail it. I picked up mail from yesterday.

 

Hubby and I moved stuff so that the carpet cleaners could clean. Moved sofas, moved dog beds, moved stuff stored in our closet off the floor. 

Hubby took Tater with him to the shop. 

Coyote Carpet Cleaner guys pulled up right after Hubby pulled out.

I stuck Wilson outside for the guys to bring in all the equipment. Then I put him in his kennel in the hallway. 

I put all the stuff in the guest bedroom on the bed. Forgot to have Hubby help do that.

USPS rang the doorbell and left some more packages.

 

Coyote Carpet Cleaning finished at 11:15. I paid them. 

 

I watched TV. Put away clean clothes.

 

Rattler cat was playing with a small scorpion. I beat it to death and then put it outside to show Hubby.

Put away clean dishes. 

 

Hubby and Tater got home at 2:30PM. Hubby took a shower. I worked up an ID Badge for SEMA for Casey.

I updated the Loan application with MACU to include Hubby's ID.

Hubby left at 2:45PM to go over to his appointment at 3PM with Derrick @ MACU.

Hubby returned at 3:45PM. He brought mexican food from Robertos. I did not eat as I was nauseated.

We watched TV. 

 

Hubby found another scorpion in the bathroom after he was done taking a shower. It was VERY tiny.

 

I have been cold & freezing all day. My hands are like ice.

Then I took a hot bath at 7PM. Hubby fixed the toilet in the spare bathroom.

As there was another load finished, I put laundry away. 

We moved all the furniture back at 9:30PM. I was hot and sweaty now.

Up at 5:30AM. Made the bed. Gave dogs fresh water.

 

Hubby fed dogs steak from last week. 

 

Let dogs out for potty. I put water in bird bath. Picked up dog poo.

 

We got dogs loaded and took pillow and water. Took Dually and drove to Cedar City.

 

Hubby forgot his cash at home.

 

Stopped to get fuel and walk dogs. We both went potty. Hubby dropped Tater's leash and he took after a couple dogs that a guy was walking. A big mouthed stupid bitch started screaming and making the situation worse. I got the electric charger and zapped Tater. He came running back.

 

AT MUDDY, SOPPING WET DOG PARK

 

 

In Cedar City, we found the address right at 9AM in the morning.

 

Hubby followed guy and went to MACU to get money. I waited in truck with dogs.  

Hubby brought out the bill-of-sale. He said they transferred $ to Nebraska account to pay for truck.

We called the tow guy from Mountain Towing. It took him an hour to get there. Hubby and I had gone to the local park to walk the dogs. Both of us had to use the EXQUISTELY CLEAN bathroom at the park. It was so very nice.

Then we raced back to the house for the tow guy. Took 2 hours to get the truck loaded. 

 

Then Hubby and the tow guy took off to get drinks and $ because we did not have enough cash and the tow guy would not take a credit card. 

I waited with the dogs in the A/C truck until they returned.

Hubby tied everything down with straps.

 

We drove to the Harbor Freight in town and Hubby went inside to purchase more tie-down straps.

 

Then we drove to Tropical Smoothie Cafe. 

 

Hubby parked the truck and he went inside to get smoothies and sandwiches. 

 

He brought everything out and I walked the dogs in the grass next to the truck.

 

We drove home.The drive took 2 hours. Stopped in St George to fix the tie-downs. We walked the dogs in the parking lot for potty.

Stopped at Littlefield to get lottery tickets. 

 

Guys were driving thru the gas station that had just purchased Casey's red truck.

We drove home.

I was exhausted. Hubby parked the truck & trailer in the street. 

I let dogs outside for potty.

I took some marijuana because I hurt EVERYWHERE. 

Went to bed at 7PM.

I did not even wake up when Hubby came to bed later with the dogs!

MONDAY AND ANOTHER STORM

7-26-2021 

Up at 6:30AM. 

I made the bed. 

Then I went out and made lattes & Nanogreens. Hubby had already fed the dogs their egg breakfast. He let them out for potty.

We sat and watched morning News on TV.

Then Hubby did cat litter. I went out to pick up dog poo and put water in bird bath. 

It was EXTREMELY HUMID outside. Can hardly breathe. 69% Humidity.

Hubby left at 8:20PM and took Tater with him to work. 

I vacuumed. I put the Roomba in our room.

I did bookwork.

It started to get dark, cloudy, thunder, and lightning over the mountains. But no rain. 

I took a nap. Wilson jumped on me. 

I cut up apples for Apple Brown Betty, but we have no flour so I can't make it yet.

I crocheted more pumpkins.

Hubby got home with Tater at 3:45PM.

Hubby made ribs for dinner. 

 

Hubby installed the USB electrical outlet in the living rom.

Storm came past. We had to bring all the pillows inside and bring the dog beds under the patio. The wind really blew a lot.

 

We went to bed at 10PM. Have to get up early tomorrow so we can pick up truck in Cedar City.

Up at 6AM. 

Hubby made egg breakfast for dogs. I made the bed and dressed.

I put water in the bird bath and picked up dog poo.

Then I made lattes & Nanogreens.

We sat around all day. Hubby watched Automotive shows.

I did bookwork.

Did laundry and dishes. Put away clean laundry & dishes. 

We took the truck and trailer to the shop and Hubby unloaded the steel. 

Then we stopped at Starbucks for egg bites. Hubby ran inside to get them. There were about 12 cars in line!

We got on the interstate 15 and drove to Las Vegas. 

Stopped at gas station just before Vegas to walk dogs & potty.

Then we took dogs to Hot Diggity Dog Day Care. Dropped them off. Lots of barking.

Drove to Ride Now Power Sports on Ranch Blvd. Barely any parking with the truck & trailer. Lots of trucks there. 

We were shown our UTV that we were going to purchase. Still in several pieces and very dusty. 

We waited until they were ready at 1:15PM to see us (Hubby's name was on the over-head VIP sign)

But Hubby did not like the miscellaneous little charges that added up to about $8000 additional to the price including sales tax. They were not going to take any charges off, so Hubby got his $1000 deposit refunded and we left.

Went to pick dogs up. Then we stopped at Wendy's to get chicken sandwich, burgers, chicken nuggets, and fries. 

Drove home. 

At home, we let the dogs out for potty. It was already 3:15PM by the time we got home.

Big storm came at 5PM. Lots of wind. Rain. Dropped temperature about 15 degrees. We brought cushions inside so they would not fly away.

Watched TV and then went to bed at 11PM.

Up at 5:50AM. 

 

Hubby went to kitchen to make breakfast eggs for dogs. 

 

I got dressed and made the bed. I went to the kitchen to make lattes & Nanogreens.

 

I put water in the bird bath. It was completely empty. LOTS of birds out there this morning. There was also a baby BUNNY looking for food. He hopped into the neighbor's yard.

 

We sat and watched news on TV. 

Hubby left at 7:30AM for breakfast at Golden West Casino with Dan to talk about the Scenic property.

 

I vacuumed, cleaned cat litter, started laundry. Cleaned breakfast dishes and put them in dishwasher. I started Roomba in our bedroom.

 

I went down to pick up the mail. Stopped to talk with John, neighbor.

 

When I got back, I texted Hubby to see if he wanted me to bring the parts to the shop. 

 

I picked up dog poo. Watered the plant on the side of the house with 2 milk-jug gallons and then threw the plastic away.

Really hot & sweaty outside.

I put away clean clothes from the washer. 

 

ROBERT LIKES TO SLEEP IN OUR BEDROOM ON THE HARD CARPETED FLOOR

 

At 2:15PM, I loaded Tater in the FMF and we drove to the shop. Took some parts that had come in the mail from Amazon. 

When we got to the shop, Tater got out and was happy to see Daddy. We talked about the new Can-AM and Hubby called the dealership in Vegas to talk about purchasing it. He put a down payment of $1000 on it. 

I left the shop at 2:55PM to get my nails done at GS Nails.

After getting my nails done, I drove to Walmart to pick up groceries we ordered online for pick-up.

Linda brought out my groceries. Very nice lady. 

Then I stopped at DQ to get Slushies-Cherry for Hubby and Blue Raspberry for me. Had to wait a long time in line. People in front of me ordered a LOT of food & drinks.

I drove home.

At home, Hubby helped me unload groceries.

 

Hubby called the credit card companies to tell them we would be making a major purchase tomorrow. The new Can AM Turbo RR 4-door.

Hubby called the bank to make an appointment to re-finance our home loan.

Then he changed clothes so we could go to Dean's birthday party at 5PM.

Went down to the shop. Dean, Eric, Lupe, Bill (from the Dam Bar), Reuben (was grilling), Casey, Brandi, and Addison were there. Also, the singer from our grand opening and his girlfriend who now works for Dean & Eric. Lots of other guys there, too.

It started to get VERY dark outside. Rain and wind. We all ran inside to get out of the weather. Hubby had to put something heavy down on the metal in the back of the trailer. Otherwise, it was trying to blow away!

We ate and stayed for 2 hours. Went home at 7PM. 

I was really tired. I took a hot bath, ate some marijuana gummies and went to bed.

THURSDAY / VET FOR DOG VACCINES

Up at 6:30AM. Heard Hubby getting breakfast ready in the kitchen. He let the dogs out for potty, then he fed them when they returned inside.

Hubby and I put new clean sheets on the bed. He took the others and started the washing machine. We put away clean clothes.

Then I made lattes & Nanogreens.

Camel Safari guy called when we sat down to have breakfast. 

Hubby called Casey to come in early so they could go fix the Camel Safari vehicles. 

Hubby left at 8:15AM. 

I gave the dogs some bologna after Hubby left. I put away more clean clothes. 

I cleaned up breakfast dishes and put them away.

I vacuumed house. 

Had to change shirt as I was all sweaty. 

I ordered perfume from Lancome.

 

At 2:25PM, Hubby came home and we raced over to the Virgin Valley Vets office and the dogs got their Lepto & Bordatella shots. The girl, Tammy, was really nice and we paid in the appointment room. Then we came home and both dogs got Benadryl so they don't have an adverse reaction to the Lepto shots. 

 

Both dogs had cheese with Benadryl. Then they napped for the rest of the afternoon.

 

I took a hot bath because everything hurt.

 

We watched TV until 9:30PM and went to bed.

7-21-2021 

 

 

Up at 5:30AM. 

Hubby was already up and had let the dogs outside. He made breakfast for dogs.

Hubby put away clean laundry.

I got up and made the bed. 

Then I made lattes & Nanogreens.

I picked up dog poo and watered plants outside. I also put out more bird seed and put water in the bird bath.

 

Hubby left at 8:30AM for the shop. He did not go eat at Golden West because he had stuff to do at the shop he said.

I paid credit card bills.

 

Dogs got treats. They kept going in and out all day. Tater really likes to feel the warmth on his belly.

Cleaned up breakfast dishes and I started dishwashing.

Then I started a load of laundry.

I vacuumed house.

I went down to get the mail.

I paid Overton Power bills online.

 

I put away clean clothes. 

 

Hubby got home at 3:30PM.

 

He had a snack. Opened packages that were delivered via UPS and Fed-Ex.

 

Then at 5PM, we got changed into bathing suits and went swimming at the Community Center until 6:30PM.

 

I met a couple new people. Carrie (whose husband was exercising inside) Roger & Mirielle were there, Janet, Faye, Dan (Dana was exercising inside), Irl & Kathy. 

 

We came home at 6:30PM.

 

Hubby had dinner. He warmed up more Ribs.

 

We watched Waking the Dead until bedtime. Went to bed at 9:30PM.

Up at 6:30AM. 

 

I had gone done to get mail at the post box. While walking back, Hubby pulled down the street with his truck & trailer.

 

Hubby came home at 2:30 with Mike, delivering a UTV to a customer. They picked up boxes that were delivered via UPS. Also, the Prismatic Powder box that was sitting outside. They dropped Tater off as he was tired from his day at the shop.

Then they left again. 

 

Let Tater outside to potty. I gave his fresh water. Wilson was happy to see Tater home again.

 

Hubby got home at 3:30PM.

 

Hubby warmed up Ribs for his dinner.

 

 

HUBBY FINALLY FIXES WASHING MACHINE

Up at 8:30AM. I had slept in the spare bedroom. Wilson and Tater came to wake me up.

 

Wilson was sick and threw up bile on the living room floor.

I refused to do anything because I am tired of asking Hubby to do something for me and he doesn't do it. 

I told him to hire somebody to clean the house, take care of the accounting. 

Vanderhall Motors called Hubby this morning. He wants to sell the off-road electric vehicles they are making. The newest one looks like a cross between a new Ford Bronco and a UTV.

7-18-2021

 

 

Up at 7AM. Hubby was already up and had let the dogs outside for potty.

I got up and made the bed. Then I went out to the kitchen to make lattes & Nanogreens.

Hubby made bacon and french toast. 

We had breakfast and watched morning Vegas news on TV.

 

It was overcast outside. A little cooler. Still 96 degrees this morning. 

 

I put water in the bird bath. I spread bird seed. I picked up dog poo.

 

We watched a stupid movie on tv. 

 

I did bookwork.

 

I re-organized my files and put old files in the garage file cabinets. 

Hubby packed all the donation stuff in my FMF. 

Hubby put all our cardboard boxes in the pick up truck to take down to the shop.

Hubby opened the washing machine to dry out the gasket so it can be replaced.

 

Loaded dogs into the Dually. We took the dogs down to the dog park for a while. There were no other dogs there. It was too hot to play. After the dogs felt it was too hot, we left after 15 minutes.

Stopped at the old shop to drop off the cardboard boxes. Then we stopped on the corner for Mexican Street Corn that a guy was selling. Eric pulled up next to us.

Tater hung out on the sofa most of the afternoon. 

We watched Queens Gambit on Netflix.

I was really feeling nauseated and had a upset tummy around 6PM. Took a hot bath and Hubby got me 2 Benadryl to take because I kept sneezing and had a runny nose.

 

I went to bed. 

 

At 10PM, I woke up and called for Hubby. He had fallen asleep on the sofa and not fixed the washer yet when he repeatedly told me that he would be doing that this weekend. I was upset because he had told me he would do it, I needed to do laundry. We had a argument.

 

He came to bed and woke me up - I could not sleep. So I took my pillow and went in to the front room to sleep.

Up at 6:45AM. We slept late!

 

Hubby let dogs outside.

 

Hubby made breakfast eggs for dogs. 

 

I took a shower and washed my hair. I made the bed.

 

Hubby fed dogs.  

I made lattes & Nanogreens.

Hubby vacuumed.

 

I processed a return for Hubby on Amazon.

 

Left dogs at home, we drove to Walmart to get groceries and bought milk, eggs, bananas, chicken salad, a GREAT TASTING watermelon, cantaloupe, detergent, birthday card and LEGOS for Max, and new cooler. 

 

 

 

 

WALMART'S COPY OF YETI COOLER

 

LOTS of people standing in the way and some REALLY STUPID woman trying to get something point-of-purchase items at the checkout line when we were checking out. I was picking up the cooler and she was trying to get behind me. I told her to get out of the way (as the cooler was heavy and SHE COULD FUCKING WAIT).

We checked out and I went to get ice.

Hubby loaded stuff into truck. I was already sweating. 

 

We drove to the shop. Waited for Jose to get there. Eric was there and took back his tires from the shop. Casey was already there. We filled out an application to be a Dealer for an Vanderhall Electric UTV.

 

Jose finally got there about 10:15AM and he signed the Rental Contract with Casey. Hubby paid the 1st month Rent and the Deposit for Casey. We will take it out of his future paychecks.

Hubby put Max's present into Jose's truck.

Then we left and drove the back road to Walgreens. Picked up our Meds. 

 

Then we went to Starbucks, but the line was over 10 cars. Told Hubby NO WAY am I waiting. 

 

We drove to Animal Farm and picked up dog food & cat food. I also got some honey.

 

At home, we unloaded groceries and put them away.

Hubby balled all the melons; then at 1PM he went to meet Casey at Mike's house to get the bed. Jose had said that he has a queen size bed frame for Caesy at his lock-up yard.

Installed my new monitor holder on the computer.

I did laundry.

Hubby and I tried Meds. I don't like them. Disassociative feelings. Weird.

We watched TV for a while.

Both of us were sick from the Meds. Lots of diarrhea. 

Went to bed at 9PM.

FRIDAY

 

 

 

Awake at 6:00AM. Dogs woke up and licked us. Hubby got up at 6:30 and started making dog egg breakfast. He fed them.

I got up at 6:45AM and made the bed. 

I went to the kitchen to make lattes & Nanogreens.

Hubby cleaned the cat litter. I started a load of laundry.

Hubby left at 8AM to take Jay & Amy's Jeep to the shop. 

I did bookwork. Submitted the View On Magazine Article. 

I vacuumed the front entry way outside as there was lots of debris from the wind storm again last night.

I wiped down the front screen door and step because there was dust everywhere.

I walked down to get the mail. Dave was out cleaning his boat. He & Carmen are going to the lake at Flaming Gorge. 

Hubby came home at 11AM with Mike's Orange Can Am. He picked up the boxes that UPS had delivered. I showed him the Powder Coating oven that I found.

He left to go down to the ELKS to eat lunch with Casey.

I cleaned the floors. 

Then I took some marijuana because EVERYTHING was hurting again. I had diarrhea. 

It was hot and humid outside.

 

Eric & Dean had to bring their box delivery truck to the shop and get the brakes fixed, which is why the guys had to stay late and fix it. 

Hubby got home at 5:30PM. It was too late to swim and too hot and too humid.

We watched TV. 

I went to bed at 9PM.

 

 

 

ANOTHER MUGGY DAY IN MESQUITE

 THURSDAY

7-15-2021

 

 

 

 

Up at 6:30AM.

 

I made the bed and went to the kitchen to make lattes & Nanogreens.

 

Instead of 100 degrees at this time of the morning, it was only 79! What a difference.

 

Let the dogs outside. They ran after birds. Birds are eating the spilled bird seed on the ground from the last few storms. I had put water in the bird bath last night, so no need to do it again - it rained a lot, so no need to water plants!

 

Hubby made breakfast eggs and fed the dogs.

Then I updated stuff on the computer. Ordered Prismatic Powder for Hubby at the shop.

 

Watched morning News on TV. 

 

 Hubby left for the shop with Tater at 8:30AM. 

 

I paid credit card bills. 

 

I worked on the article for View On Magazine.

 

 

 

I did laundry and dishes. I washed the comforter on our bed. I washed Tater's camper blanky.

 

Hubby got home late at 5PM. He brought milk from Walmart. He had brought Jay & Amy's Jeep home so that he could find the squeak and fix it on Friday at the shop.

It was too hot and humid to go swimming so we stayed home. I did bookwork while Hubby sat on the sofa and relaxed.

Hubby took a shower. I put bird seed out on the ground for the Bunny.

The wind came up around 9:30PM. REALLY windy, but not as bad as the last 2 nights.

We went to bed at 10:30PM.

Up at 6AM. 

 

I made the bed and then went out to the kitchen to make lattes & Nanogreens.

 

I was going to let the dogs outside, but saw a BUNNY. He was munching on our plant. So I kept the dogs inside for a while.

Bunny finally disappeared after a few minutes and I let dogs outside.

 

Hubby warmed up breakfast eggs for the dogs & fed them. 

 

We sat on the sofa to watch news. 

 

 Hubby took Tater with him when he left at 8AM. He was going out to the Camel Ranch to drop off the Golf Cart and pick up the Gator UTV.

At 10AM, Hubby called and said that he was at the Doctor's Office. I took the FMF down and picked Tater up. I drove back home. Picked up the mail.

I got a sweatshirt from Etsy and some parts for the shop in the mail.

 

 

 

Hubby was still waiting at the Doctor's office at 11PM. His appointment was for 10:15AM.

Hubby finally got into the Doctor; Doctor prescribed my Nitro for me and Hubby's pain killers. 

At 1:45PM, I got the FMF and was driving to go get Bella for her Grooming appointment at La de'Paws. Hubby called me and said he & Casey & Chris closed up shop and were driving to St George to pick up parts at MotoZoo. I told him to go get the dog & drop her off. 

I went to Mesquite Business Center. Suzy was not there, so I talked to her daughter. Mailed DMV paperwork (AGAIN) and if it comes back this time, the bitches in that department are fucking with us on purpose as each time we send it, they send it back with ONE LITTLE NIT-PICKY ITEM. 

Sent paperwork via FeD Ex to Zurich - the extended warranty policy that Hubby paid for with his Can AM. 

Stopped at Wendys for sandwiches for dogs and a chicken sandwich for me.

 

At home, I did more bookwork. 

 

Hubby got home about 5PM. 

 

We decided against going to the pool tonight as it was so hot and muggy. Too much humidity from the storm.

 

Then at 8PM, the wind started up again - blowing with Hurricane force gale. Blew sand again and then it started raining. But the rain sounded like hail!

 

 

 

We went to bed at 10PM. Both of us were tired.

 

 

TUESDAY / GARBAGE DAY / LITTLE COOLER

Up at 6AM. 

 

I made the bed. Then I made Nanogreens and lattes. 

 

Hubby made breakfast eggs and fed the dogs. 

 

Garbage men came at 7AM.

 

I hard-boiled eggs for Hubby so that he could make deviled eggs with PEPPERS. Gross.

 

He threw away the Pepper can in the trash inside the pantry. I opened it later and GAGGED. Had to rinse it out and throw all of it out right away. I am allergic to pepper smell.

I stayed home with the dogs today. I did laundry. Put laundry away. Vacuumed the whole house. Cleaned out the Roomba. Did dishes and put away clean dishes.

Hubby got home at 4PM. 

He had a quick snack and we went to the pool at 5PM. The water was cooler. But we got out of the water at 6:30PM because there were black clouds in the sky and the wind came up. 

 

At home, I put clothes in the washing machine and started a load of washing.

At 8PM, we had a ferocious WIND come up. The sand blew from where they are digging on the north side of Flattop Mesa. Our houses were pelted with sand. Fortunately, we did not lose power (we WOULD have lost power in Idaho with that wind!)

 

A SEVERE DROP IN TEMPERATURE

 

Hubby and I were working on the article for View-On Magazine in the office and had to abandon that as the wind was so loud. 

We watched things blowing. Brought in all the seat cushions and pillows. Moved the dog beds under the patio.

Finally, the wind died down and it started to rain. A LOT of rain. There were lightning strikes everywhere. Quite the storm.

We went to bed at 10:30PM.
