OCTOBER 30 2026

Up at 3AM. PBJR was panting. Excessively.

I got up, still asleep and staggered out to the kitchen. I got a small bowl of melted ice and took it into the bedroom for her to drink. She drank the whole thing. I got her another bowl and she drank that. She looked REALLY grateful. Then she nodded off back to sleep. 

I got another bowl and gave it to Tater because he had kept looking at us while PBJR was drinking. Tater drank 2 bowls. Then I got another bowl for Riley. ALL OF THIS WITHOUT WAKING UP. Riley took a few sips. 

I put the bowl in the kitchen and went back to bed.

Stuart was scratching at the door by 5AM and I told Hubby to get up and give him food. 

I went back to sleep until 6AM. I got up and dressed. 

Hubby had let the dogs outside for potty. He put down their bowls of kibble that I had filled last night.

Hubby was sitting on the sofa with a heating pad when I got out of the bedroom. 

Hubby made the bed. 

I made hot tea for myself. Hubby had already made a latte for himself.

The clouds were starting over the mountains. Another ATMOSPHERIC RIVER coming this weekend. 

I went outside to pick up dog poo. I am still tired. 

Hubby had pulled all the dog beds under the patio to save them from the rain.

Hubby left in the Jeep to take the shocks he picked up last night in Vegas to Joe at his shop. 

I filled the hot tub with water, but forgot to watch it and it over-flowed.

I started the heater on the hot tub.

Then Hubby returned home at 10AM. 

By 10:30AM, the USPS lady brought my Ghost Pillow that I ordered from Etsy.

Hubby FINALLY opened the package that came on Wednesday. I had ordered a Geologic Raised Relief map of Oregon. It looked great. We need to put it in a frame.

Hubby made peppers, onions outside on the grille. 

Stuart played with the package wrapping from the ghost pillow. PBJR supervised him in the hallway.

Dogs barked at passing sirens outside. Dark and rainy all day.
