I took a few minutes to go potty, EXACTLY when the FedEx truck came by to drop off a package. Riley decided to go nuts, barking at the delivery guy thru the screen door. I came out and found a package from Blinds.com. The blinds that I had ordered at the beginning of the month. Finally came.
But. They were the wrong size. Cut at 21 inches instead of 21.5 inches as I had ordered.
Of course, they don't handle anything thru email, so I had to CHAT with Gino at 4:29PM. No apology and blamed ME for measuring incorrectly. I ordered the SAME EXACT blind that I ordered in 2019. What a bunch of fucking assholes. I was ready to return it and get a refund, but they are going to send an "outside mount" that will be the correct size because "The manufacturer deducts approximately 3/8" from the
width for inside mount to ensure it fits properly."
And no apology. Damn.
So now we wait another 15 days.
Hubby left in the Jeep to run the $ to MACU so we can make the rent tomorrow. Our fortunate state of Nevada has to take a day off for "Nevada Day" so all the banks are closed on Friday. Convenient. (sarcasm).
