Rained last night. Broke snow down a little. Walked dogs at the park in the morning.

Shopped at WalMart, Home Depot & Big R in Sandpoint. Stopped for doggie Arby burgers. Dark & dreary out today.

Hubby fixed toilet lid, drawers in bathroom and replaced bulb in laundryroom.

Watched Walking Dead tonight. Big boring. Too much talking not enough zombie action!

Got a special sweater for Lil Bit. He hates wearing it!

Craft Show Day

Saturday - Spent the day with KRN going to the craft show in Post Falls at the high school. Not too many new things. Boring. Need to find a new craft show next year.

Went to Walmart afterwards for a couple little things. Got Pumpkin Smashes at Jamba Juice and at lunch at Harvest Bread company.

KRN dropped me off at my car again after giving me espresso flavors & coffee she had brought. Then I drove home to Bud & the dogs.

Snowstorm started at 4:00.

More Snow Tonight

Nov 10 - Hubby had to go down to friend's shop to do a rear end set up. He worked until late about 12PM.

Nov 11 - It was hurricane like weather here earlier in the night with rain & severe wind. But it later turned to snow around 10:30PM.

Nov 9 - Got my new Silhouette Cameo and started sampling it with different vinyl cut out projects.

Nov 9 - Hubby helped me put burlap sacks around our evergreen tree to save it from snow this winter. From a distance it looks like a penis.

So it goes that I have to transfer everything from old computer to new. Ick. I HATE HATE HATE doing this.

Met hubby at his work and we were going to NITB Club Meeting until I saw that he had metal in his eye. I drove him down to the Emergency Room. Doctor performed minor surgery there to get the metal out. Dug in his eye to get rusted metal out. Ick. No painkillers. Just antibiotics. We went to the meeting for a while, then left early. Hubby was hurting bad.

Sunday Oct 30 -Dog walk in park. Put away rest of summer things. Hoses, fire pit chairs. Took both cars toWalMart to change oil. Took Bud. Shopped. Then ate dinner at Las Chavelas. Home to watch TV.

FRIDAY
Back still hurting badly but felt better this morning.

Got latte for me and a Pumpkin Smash for KRN. Went shopping with her at Costco in the Valley. Then loaded up my car to take book donations up to Spokane Humane Society. The woman there was very rude & refused the donation. I will NEVER donate to SHS again!

Then drove to Valley Mall to get KRN makeup at JC Penney. Also stopped at Hobby Lobby & Jo Ann Fabrics. Then took KRN back to her car at Costco. I picked up cheeseburgers for dogs at Wendy's then drove home to collapse.

Hubby thinks I have the stomach flu.

Oct 15 - North Idaho Trail Blazers; we hosted the Night Run here at our place. Had fire pit going; it was a little chilly. Hot dogs, lots of food. M&K came over to help with decorations. K was not feeling too good and went inside early. I had to stay outside with Rodriquez's who waited until everybody showed up from 4WD run about 1AM.

Oct 18 -  Got a picture of Harriet playing with Bud on the floor while Lil Bit did his "Dancing Bear" routine!

Oct 21 - Walked down to get mail and Jeepster was trying to hide from me. He finally realized it was me and started to roll around on the ground begging me to rub his belly. After a while, he jumped up into my arms.

North Idaho Trail Blazer Club

Went to the NITB meeting last night and they voted for approval on our membership. Got there at 6PM and stayed until almost 9PM. On the way home, we got cheeseburgers from Wendy's for the dogs, a Starbucks latte for me (yuckety yuck) and then stopped for a ham on the way home thru Rathdrum.

Rainy day. Tried to get hubby to stay home to take me into the Chiro, but he did not want to do it. So I am in agony.

Hubby worked all day at shop on Saturday.

Sunday we took dogs for walk in Farragut Park, drove thru park to see if there were any boats on loading ramp...Then after leaving dogs at home, we went up to Sandpoint to shop at Walmart & new Big R store there. Hubby fell in love with the Big R store.

Went to Uproar concert on Sunday afternoon/night. It was great.

I had to get drunk after taking numerous pills for my aching back which had started hurting early this morning. Kids met us at O'Doherty's Irish Grill in downtown Spokane. Had quite a few drinks. Then went over to the Spokane Arena for the Uproar Concert. Quite good.

Had quite a few more beers while we were there. KRN and I also got hot dog, candy & more beer when we went to go potty.

Happy National Coffee Day

Tanning again today. Stupid neighbor shooting behind us, so all the dogs are freaked out. I had to change tanning time to late afternoon. Can't leave dogs while the idiot is making noise.

Fall is already upon us as the trees are turning colors & losing their leaves.

I purchased red light therapy bed unlimited October package at the tanning salon. They were running a special. After tanning at 4pm, Bud and I took walk around until hubby met us for dinner at Toro Viejo Mexican Food Restaurant. OMG. The food was SO bland. The beans tasted like the rice tasted like the tamale tasted like the enchilada. Hubby dumped a TON of hot sauce on everything and that is the only thing that saved him. I just quit eating after a couple bites.

Got burgers for dogs at McDonalds then came home. Hubby worked at shop for couple hours. Then he came home and we watched Archer together.

Boat Out

Saturday September 24 - Sunday September 25 
Hubby and I spent this past weekend on boat. Went down Saturday in late afternnon with Buddy & Lil Bit. Gary at the dock had moved us over to an actual dock area and everybody thought we had moved in for the winter. But we told them we were only there temporarily. We will really miss being down at the Marina.

Boated over to Buttonhook Bay and walked dogs a lot. Had a nice relaxing night & Sunday morning. We boated back to Bayview when it was extremely windy. Difficult to dock, but hubby got it in perfectly. Then we stayed on boat until late afternoon.

So sad. We had to take the boat out on Sunday in the evening around 6pm -Earl, Austin, & Rick came to help. I drove dogs with me in FMF around to Farragut Park boat dock. Hubby went in boat to meet Earl & guys.

Fries Day

Thank God It's Fries Day.

Friday September 16
On Friday I took Harriet into the vet for yearly shots & her County license. Then returned home to dump off the dogs. Went into CDA to deposit check in bank, get white coffee granita, & do nails.

After nails, Bud & I met hubby at WalMart in Post Falls for shopping. Then Buddy & I got Wendy's burgers and returned home.

Unloaded all groceries at home, made dessert treat-Chocolate Caramel Bars, and dinner for on boat-Green Enchilada Tostadas. Washed laundry, gave dogs bones, and filled deer feed in the woods.

Saturday Sept 17
Got down to boat with KRN & Beebo, windy on water. Boated up in 5-6 foot swells to Garfield Bay. KRN got migraine. We walked dogs thru town, but decided it was too windy & wild to tie up there for the night. Went farther up to Hope to tie there. Got there late & we were only boat. Paid our moorage fee. Then had dinner at Hope Floating restaurant.I got drunk on drinks at dinner. We played UNO for the rest of night until bedtime.

Sunday Sept 18
It rained very early in the morning, so we buttoned up the boat and made our way back to Bayview. Rough water, but not as bad as yesterday.

Hubby wanted me to take picture of the way we have our tie off lines curled up in a proper boating manner.

Went home & KRN decided she had to return home so she could do bookwork & errands. Was sad to see her go.

Weds Hump Day

Angus came down to the boat with us on Wednesday night.

On Thursday I took Lil Bit into the vet for yearly shots & County license. Bud came with us and waited in the car parking lot. He was shaking with fear when we pulled in the lot. I cannot figure this out. Nothing bad has ever happened to him. The reaction was abnormal. Buddy has been reacting like this the last couple times. Lil Bit even quaked in my arms when I carried him in. He is now up to 20 pounds from 15 pounds the last visit. Need to put him on a diet!

We watched season premieres of Always Sunny in Philadelphia & Archer. Hubby called VZ Wireless to set up his new Blackberry Curve.

After the Weekend

 Went to get milk & latte in A-town. Then cleaned up house, did laundry, picked up weekend poo. Lots of cleaning up; organizing to do after boating this weekend.

Hubby came home. Spent 1 hour down at shop, then we went to boat with Harriet.

She did very well. Other than balking at walking over the gang plank to the dock and having to be carried, she quite liked sitting on the boat with us. No panicking, No barking. Might do even better in the daylight.

Boat Day

Groceries on Friday night at Spirit Lake after hubby came home. I fixed sandwiches when we came home. Had to go to bed at 9:30 because I was dead tired.

Then Saturday morning we took the stuff down to load the boat. Pumped out the waste & motored over to Buttonhook Cove. We met Jon (a boat mechanic) and his wife Tina. Then Mark & Denise came in their v-berth boat. Also met Andy & Tony in their Sea Ray sunbridge.

Stayed there at Buttonhook. Took Bud & Lil Bit for walks around the lake & up to Beaver Bay swim area. We met a group at the camp area that had come over from Spokane for a Frisbee Golf tournament in the park.

On Sunday morning, I hitched a ride to the marina with Mark & Denise. Picked up the FMF and drove home to check on dogs, feed fish & feed deer. Then got lattes. Drove back & parked at Buttonhook Group camping.

Had lunch in the afternoon. It was a relaxing day.

Hubby swam later in the afternoon. Put Lil Bit in the water with him. Bud was so concerned that he tried to "save" Lil Bit by going in the water after him. But pulled his foot back at the last minute when he saw it was wet!

We left in the afternoon to boat over to Maiden Rock & Whiskey Rock. Still too many people at Whiskey Rock to get in there. Nobody seemed to want to move their boats to make room. A-holes.

Went back to Buttonhook so that hubby could drop me off there. I walked up the hill with Bud it was overcast & very humid. Drove the FMF back to the Marina while hubby boated around. Got some great pics of him coming in to dock.

We unloaded the boat & then headed home. At home, hubby made the rest of the pulled chicken that I had bought at Costco along with mashed potatoes on the side. It was a good dinner.

Met KRN at Costco at 10AM after stopping in town to get lattes from Higher Ground.

Shopped & then went to Valley Mall. KRN returned her sweater to AE, then we window shopped. Got pretzels at Auntie's.

Went to get burgers for dogs at Wendy's in CDA then home.

Hubby came home late, worked in shop for hour. Went to grocery store in Spirit Lake.

Dodge Clean

Cleaned the Dodge today. Drove into get latte in the Dodge because my car was clean.

Worked solid for a couple hours in the 93 degree heat cleaning. Awfully hot today.

Clean Up

What a chore it is having a boat. Not to complain, but it is like keeping TWO homes. Cleaning up there, bringing stuff home to clean, then cleaning up home. I am extra tired.

Cleaned the whole house on Tuesday. Washed dog beds, vacuumed, washed dishes, washed clothes from weekend, washed towels from weekend. Hubby worked down at the shop on Tuesday night to catch up from this weekend. While I was watching the deer come around to eat about 7PM, a stupid young woman hit one of the deer that was crossing the road. It sounded like a baseball bat hitting a tree branch. The deer made no sound. She came over to our shop to see if anybody could shoot it because it was still alive. She had broken its two back legs. Poor little deer. Hubby got gun and had #3 shoot it (the deer pulled itself by its front legs to try to get away...very distressing) as hubby cannot face killing anything else. #3 has been a hunter all his life. I hate inattentive drivers!

On Wednesday, I cleaned the FMF. Went into town at 1:00 to get nails done, get white coffee granita, wash outside of car at car wash, get burgers for dogs at Wendy's. Got home at 3:30.

Hubby wants to go to 4WD Meeting tonight in Post Falls.

LABOR DAY WEEKEND 2011

On Friday, I went into CDA to wash the car, pick up groceries at WalMart, get burgers for puppies.

Then tanned at 2pm. Raced home to get everything packed up and sandwiches made.

Hubby came home, then spent one hour at the shop. We drove down to Bayview to pack everything into boat.

We slept on boat at Marina Friday night.

Saturday we awoke early. I went home to feed deer, feed dogs, & get lattes. Hubby stayed on boat.

Took off out of Marina at about 8:30.  Went down to Buttonhook Cove to hang out. Got to know all the "popular kids". Couple guys helped us dock. Quite a little clique.

Kids came in late afternoon. Brought Krispy Kreme donuts & KRN's chicken bbq! Yum. Had it for dinner.

On Sunday morning early, KRN & I went to get lattes, breakfast at Saddle Up Cafe & feed dogs/deer at home. Guys stayed on boat. Matt helped carry stuff down to boat when KRN parked at Buttonhook camping.

We took off after breakfast to go swim. Found a nice anchoring area by a downed tree on east side of Lake. Threw Bud in to swim. Beebo really liked swimming. Little motor boat!

Motored boat slowly back to Buttonhook Cove. Parked on opposite side. Kids left at 3:30. Bugs hatched in the cove. Flying ants. Got all over boats. Greg & I took a nap. Fireboat from Bayview came to spray water.

We stayed overnight at Buttonhook and enjoyed meeting many new people. It was fun. Buddy liked going for walks.

On Monday (Labor Day) we hung around until late afternoon. Took several walks. Then we left as bugs started hatching out again. Motored around the lake. Returned to McDonald's Marina late afternoon. Unpacked all perishables & went home. Unpacked everything & loaded dogs in white truck so that we could walk them down at the park. They were happy to see us again.

Went to bed around 10:30.

DEER

7 deer out feeding in the clearing by the circle driveway last night! SEVEN DEER! It was a beautiful sight. Wish hubby could have been here to share it with me, but he was down at the shop working on a rear end with Tim.

I went tanning this afternoon at 2PM. Got a latte from Jen Bunny before I went. Took Bud with me because it was so cool outside. Rained a little while we drove to Rathdrum. After tanning, I got kitty food at the grocery store.

No Water Day

Woke up this morning to No Water. Called Watermaster of system and he was on vacation. Got an alternate number to call. Finally got thru on phone and he quoted it would be 2 hours before water was back up. Even when it came back up at 12:00PM, it had lots of water in the system. Low water pressure. Boo.

Unable to wash clothes or go potty or give fresh water to dogs.

Got latte, then came home & did clean up chores.

Fed Ex & USPS brought boat stuff!

BoatAversary Weekend

FRIDAY August 26 - Got lattes in the morning with hubby. He has Friday & Monday for vacation for our Anniversary! Prior to starting our vacation weekend, he went up to Sandpoint with Earl to recycle metal. When he returned home, we had to return Bronco to Chris in Hayden. Hubby also forced me to go with him to pick up parts in Spokane, WA. Bud came with us and I walked him while we wasted 2 hours of the day. We finally got on board boat Friday night with Bud & Lil Bit to stay the night. Hubby vacuumed boat. Kids came over to stay the night with us at the Marina so that we had electricity. It took them 2 hours to get over here because of traffic, accidents & construction. I went home to get first aid kit & cinnamon rolls we had ordered.

Hubby got me cards, plant, sand buckets & toys, m&ms for anniversary. Suprised me by having them on the boat already.

SATURDAY August 27 -KRN & I went to pick up lattes from Jen Bunny at Espresso stand. She had been at concert so was a few minutes late to work. Invited her to come on boat when she got off work. We went back to boat with lattes & cinnamon rolls.

Hubby attempted to go up Clark Fork River, but it was too shallow. When turning the boat around, he beached it on 1 foot of water. Fortunately, some nice boaters came by and pulled us out. Our engines started and there was no damage to the boat! Thank goodness.

Had dinner at the restaurant there. Ivano's Ristorante. Yuck. Horrible food. Too dark. No light at table. Could not see undercooked steak. Raw. Ick.

Next morning, I was harrassed twice about paying moorage even after we paid it! I am filing a complaint on the internet about them. Expensive moorage at $30 a night NOT WORTH IT. Drunks came down to dock & bothered dogs. Tried to get into a fight with KRN. Next morning we found out that Sheriff came down to haul her away! Yippee.

SUNDAY August 28 - Hung out around Table Rock and swam. Kelsey swam with Beebo over to the beach. He had fun. Then I took Lil Bit in the float over to the beach. He proceed to run away from me. Rocks were too big to walk on. Hurt the feet. He finally got caught with his leash on a branch. Took him back then we left. Motored over to Lakeview to potty dogs. Saw a huge beautiful Canadian Goose with a broken wing. We fed him quite a lot of bread.

Kids left at 3PM when we dropped them off at the Marina. A huge sailboat was parked in our area, so we had to park down by the gasoline tanks. It was stinky, we were tired & hurting, so we went home to stay the night.


MONDAY  August 29 - ANNIVERSARY! 30 YEARS. It doesn't seem like that long ago...

We got up early to get lattes from Heather down at the Espresso Stand then returned to the boat. We had left air conditioning on in the boat all night (Gary mentioned it to me.) Then motored out to Buttonhook Cove to hang out for a while. The day had started out very cloudy & cold but got warmer. There was only one other boat moored there and a sailboat across the cove. We fed ducks that flocked to us, then walked up trail, then swam for a bit. It got cold as there was a strong breeze blowing (along with a nasty smell of field burning) so we decided to pack it in and return to the Marina around 2:30PM.

Cleaned boat up, washed the windows, took up all the carpets, sprayed water on the aft area, vacuumed up the cabin area & I cleansed all the area with Clorox wipes. Need to power wash the carpets & put them back in.

Had a nice couple (Lynn & Jim) visit our boat & look around to admire it. Then we packed everything up that was left to go home. Hubby talked with Earl a bit at the shop, then we unloaded stuff at house. Went into town to have Anniversary dinner at Red Lobster.

Got deer feed at WalMart, burgers for dogs at Wendy's, washed car at Car Wash. Returned home at 10:00PM. Saw deer walk across our driveway when we pulled in. Watched news and went to bed.

Anniversary Weekend Coming Up

I went into CDA to get my nails done. Stopped to get granita for me & hubby. Then met hubby for his lunch hour at Cabella's so that we could get sleeping bags. I shopped at WalMart for some things for boat this weekend.

Afterwards I went to pick up Kahlua at Liquor Store in Rathdrum and tan. Then got groceries.

Went home to ball watermelon, wash grapes, make sandwiches, create anchor tea towels, pack for weekend on boat.

We have to vacuum boat.

Our anniversary is August 29.

Hubby is taking off extra days from work.

Kids are coming over Friday night.

Busy Days

Tuesday - Went to get latte in the morning, then came home to do laundry, dishes, pick up lots of poo, and vacuum.

In afternoon I went to get gas in A-town, then tan at 2:00 in R-dump. Drove into CDA to wash car, get a white coffee granita. Then shopping at Michaels (which had NOTHING but FALL & XMAS items. Ick.)

Picked up cheeseburgers for dogs at Wendys.

Shopped at WalMart for more cheap pillows for boat, clamps & towels.

Hubby got home at 6:30 then we drove to Deer Park to drop off transmission. He almost killed me when we were driving on a scenic back road & he was going a little bit too fast; almost missing a curve. Squealing the brakes & turning abruptly left, I am sure that he left extreme skid marks on the road. I think I pooped my pants! Ate at the bowling alley. Yum. Recommended by Ashley who was working at the gas station.

Did more laundry. Watered plants. Spent the day getting ready for the weekend on the boat.
