SATURDAY
JANUARY 3 2026
Hubby was up at 6:30AM and made breakfast for the dogs. He let me sleep until 7:20AM. I jumped out of bed and realized I have to get my nails done at 8AM.
I made the bed. I got dressed.
I went to the kitchen to make hot cinnamon/honey latte for hubby, a plain latte for me, and hot tea for me.
Then Hubby got dressed. He put collars on the dogs.
Hubby put dogs in FMF and started car.
We drove to GS Nails the back way. Drove on the closed road - Horizon Blvd to get my nails done.
We were early. Andy was not there yet. I had to call him-he was running late.
He & his mother drove in and he opened the salon. I waited in the car until he was ready.
Got my nails done. Had him cut them Stiletto instead of Square.
Hubby drove over to the Shop with the dogs. He checked to see if they had any packages.
Hubby drove back and picked me up.

After I got my nails done, we were going to walk the dogs. We drove to the Info Center, but a car pulled in after us and had dogs in the car. So we drove over to the baseball park on Old Mill Road, but a car pulled in after us with dogs.
So we drove over to the Mormon church and walked them around there. PBJR like walking on the sidewalk. Riley ran around looking for birds in trees! She was so happy.
We took the dogs home. Hubby vacuumed the house, cleaned the cat litter.
Then at 10:45AM, the guy called that was supposed to meet him at the shop by 11AM. A potential new employee. Hubby said he would be down in minutes.
Hubby was gone until 12:30PM. Then he drove back home. We finalized our Walmart order and set it for pickup at 2PM.
Hubby took down Xmas lights outside. Put away wood Xmas trees out front, took down blue balls from the tree. I sent the dogs out back to help him. Then I let PBJR out front with no harness to help Hubby take down lights.
We also broke down all the cardboard boxes in the garage. PBJR helped there, too. She loves being around us and helping.

We packed the boxes in the FMF and Hubby kept saying there would be no Recycle Bins empty because of Xmas overflow. I told him to quit whining.
We left early and drove to the Sun City Center; the recycle bins there were totally empty. Easily got rid of the cardboard.
Drove to Walmart and picked up grocery order.
Drove to Info Center and walked the dogs AGAIN. Some old guy in a car had just walked his little white dog and left. There was a homeless guy over by the building.
We left there and drove to Smith's. Left dogs in car and got more groceries with coupons. Saw Eric and Bill from Beaver Dam there.
Put groceries in car. Got fuel at Smith's with our points. Drove home.
Unloaded groceries. I was exhausted. I made more hot tea and another hot latte for me. I took some Ibuprofen.
Hubby made carrots and snap peas in the oven for the dogs. He also warmed up a pizza he bought at Smiths.
I did bookwork.
Watched Twilight Zone.
Went to bed at 10PM. Hubby came to bed with us.
