SATURDAY
JANUARY 17 2026
Up at 3AM. Packed up camp. Put dogs in truck. Dogs still refused to pee or poop.
Drove to St George to get a latte for Hubby at Dutch Bros. He was the first customer of the day at 5AM.
HUBBY AT DUTCH BROS GETTING HOT LATTE
Then we drove to Beaver Dam. Stopped at Maverik to get burritos. Hubby came out and had to wait 5 minutes to buy lottery tickets because they did not have enough staff on site to sell tickets.
A homeless guy came up to Hubby while he was filling the diesel and asked to buy trinkets. Hubby said no.
Then a young woman came over to borrow duct tape because their spoiler on the car had come off and they were trying to tape it back up. Hubby said to keep the whole brand new roll.
We left there and drove home.
By 5:30, we were home. At home, I unloaded dogs. Put dogs outside to potty. I took a hot bath. I made the bed and closed the windows in our room.
I made a hot cinnamon/honey latte for Hubby, hot tea & hot plain latte for me.
Hubby brought the food inside the house.
I took a antibiotic and some Nyquil. Put Zicam in my nose.
I laid down on the sofa and slept. Hubby cleaned the cat litter and vacuumed. Filled the dog water.
Hubby made egg breakfast for the dogs.
Dogs and Hubby finally fell asleep on the sofas after breakfast.
I finally woke up at 2AM. Made some hot tea and warmed up my latte. Drank those. Had a bite of my sausage/egg/cheese croissant that Hubby bought me at Maverik.
I laid down to sleep again. Slept until 5PM.
I put away clean dishes. I conditioned my hair.
We watched some TV.
Hubby was snoring while watching TV.
Went to bed at 9PM. I was hurting so badly. Hubby was snoring so much that I got out of bed at Midnight and went to sleep on the sofa again.
