SUNDAY / MAY 12 / COMING HOME

MAY 12 2024
SUNDAY

Up early on Sunday morning in Winnemucca. Took the dogs for a grassy walk again. Both of them went potty.

Went back to the camper and gave Tater some eggs and fed Riley her warmed canned dog food.

We packed up and drove into town. Stopped at latte stand. Battle Born Coffee Shop. REALLY GREAT LATTES! I got a Snowy Mountain High which was white Chocolate/vanilla Hubby got a Raspberry Truffle which was white chocolate/raspberry. Nice girl that worked there.

BATTLE BORN COFFEE IN WINNEMUCCA NV

Hubby got a burrito (which was not at all as good as the one in Bend, Oregon) and I got a coffee cake muffin. I picked up two Mexican mugs. One for Betty that is taking care of our cats and one for me.

Got on Interstate 80 and drove to Battle Mountain where we turned South to Austin, NV. Filled up again with Fuel. Both of us went potty. Hubby had stinky #2. I got him more coffee with an automatic filler. I wanted to buy a sweatshirt at the store, but they wanted $50 for it. OMG.

I walked the dogs while Hubby went potty.

There was a black cat hunting in the weeds of the hill t the gas station, but it had a collar. No stray kitty for us.

We passed so many beautiful mountain ranges.

SNOW STILL ON MOUNTAIN RANGES

We got out of there and drove to Carvers where we stopped and walked the dogs in a little Rest Area.

CARVERS REST STOP

Big mine right across from Carvers. We continued going south.

Back on the road. Drove south to Tonopah. Had to back track several miles into Tonopah to get fuel. Dirtiest, gross, poor, stagnant little town. It was awful just to be there. Everything broken down and old, falling down.

RILEY DRIVING UPSIDE DOWN NEAR HIKO, NV

Stopped in Alamo, NV to get fuel at the new huge gas station they built there. I walked the dogs over the RV Park and into the grassy dog park. Took their leashes off and let them potty and run.

PUPPIES AT ALAMO DOG PARK

Hubby went potty, got fuel. Several loud noisy bikers rode into the station.

Hubby and I had the rest of our BBQ sandwiches. Sat on the picnic table.

Gave the dogs some kibble and water. We loaded the dogs up and continued our drive home.

Turned at Coyote Springs and got on the Interstate 5. Drove to Mesquite.

Hubby dropped the trailer off at Jose's lot. Then we had to wash the truck & camper at Walmart's drive thru RV wash.

Got home at 3PM. Unloaded camper. I took the dogs out back for potty.

Put clothes away. Started washing loads of laundry.

Hubby had to measure Riley to see how much she had grown. Legs are getting SO LONG!

I took the mug over to Betty. I gave her a tour of the camper.

We all took showers. I washed Riley. Hubby washed Tater.

We went to bed at 9PM.
