JANUARY 27 2018
STILL SNOWING!
Wilson slept with us all night as usual. Zim jumped on the bed at 7AM to wake me up.
Got up at 8AM, hubby was still in bed with me!
I made lattes.
Hubby made eggs for dogs & himself.
A guy from Craigslist wanted to meet at 1PM in Spokane Valley for hubby to purchase parts.
Hubby watched an automotive show on tv.
Hubby went out to shovel snow.
I started laundry & dishes.
We drove into Hayden Walmart to meet Floyd to pick up his storage $ for the Jan-July season.
Then we drove to Country Cleaners on Government Way to drop off my winter coat to be dry-cleaned.
We picked up a latte for me at Jitterz.
Then we drove to Spokane Valley. Sat in the Outback parking lot. Saw a beautiful rainbow while waiting for guy from Craigslist to arrive. He finally got there about 15 minutes late.
Drove back to Post Falls and met Derek at Affordable Cars; hubby talked to him for a while.
Then stopped at Post Falls shop to check on vehicle.
Met Casey there and paid him $200.00
Drove home.
At home, had to potty and eat food. I was ready to pass out.
Hubby shoveled again because of more snow.
Dogs were happy to see us. Gave them a little ham.
I made more lattes.
Put away dishes. Put away laundry. Cleaned up Ben's water.
Did bookwork.
Paid bills online.
Ordered KR and Amanda some drinks from Starbucks at 5PM. They are going to AVATAR concert in Spokane.
We left to go to the play in Sandpoint at 5:30PM. It was quite warm and the roads were wet.
Got there early, stopped at Starbucks to get a latte for hubby.
Tickets for Play
We had to wait several minutes in the lobby before the Panida opened the doors. Then it was slow-going as the tickets were not collected quickly and the entry ticket was exchanged for another ticket, and then again exchanged for another ticket once you were past the entry doors.
Hubby picked up popcorn to go with his latte.
Inside the Panida
We sat on the right of the stage midway down. 2 stupid loud women had the WHOLE theatre to sit within and decided to sit RIGHT BEHIND US. One of them kicked my seat the whole play, then her phone began to ring mid play. Bitch. THEY TOLD YOU TO TURN OFF YOUR PHONES. BITCH.
FUCKING STUPID RUDE PEOPLE.
So during the 3 change of screen, we decided to use the restrooms and go to the balcony because hubby had finished his food. The notices around asked you not to take food into the balcony. There were wide sofa-like seats in the balcony, wish we had sat there before.
But the play was a slog, slow to get to ANY point. It was not amusing. The jokes and plot were only entertaining if one was an actual naturalized Sandpoint citizen who had lived there for YEARS! Jokes about former restaurants and bars.
For me, it was boring and seemed to not have a point.
We left at 8:00.
Hubby drove home. We saw an accident half way home. A new GM truck was on it's side in the ditch. However, the roads were only wet and not slippery. Already a tow truck and police had flashing lights taking care of it.
At home, we watched a documentary/film about Doug Kenney, one of the founders of National Lampoon - A Futile and Stupid Gesture.
Went to bed at 11PM.
