15 BEAN SOUP

Got up late and missed our bike ride in Bonners Ferry.

Made cheese eggs for the dogs. I made egg sandwich for hubby and mistakenly used mayo instead of his sandwich spread. He had bought the wrong stuff. So he fed his sandwich to the dogs.

We took the dogs down to the Shooting Range Road. It was a nice day, but windy.

Then we stopped to see if the boat was okay in Bayview. Hubby went down to check it with Bud & Ben. They were really good dogs & stayed with him.

Saw a dead deer on the road back thru the park. Sad.

Then we drove to Rathdrum, got me a latte at Jitterz. Heather Graaskamp was working there & we got to catch up on her, Alisha, & Bryan. Said her parents are O-T-R truckers. Bryan is in Alaska working as an engineer & Alisha is a stay at home mom.

We picked up groceries at Super One. They were having a one day sale. Got eggs for 88cents. Also picked up ham for hubby's 15 Bean Soup.

Stopped at O'Reilley so hubby could order parts.

At home by 11:15, I gave bones to the dogs to keep them occupied. Jeremiah was already here spraying the house with oil preservative. This will be his last day to get this done! Then I can get the window cleaners out here. My windows are so filthy. All summer they have been dirty. It is depressing.

Hubby helped cut onions, fry up the ham, and prepare his 15 Bean Soup. We put it on the stove in a huge pan and also in the crockpot because there was so much.

After getting done with the soup, hubby went outside to fix my bicycle seat. He said that a screw had come loose, so he took it down to the shop to repair.

I did laundry, did dishes. Took the dogs down to the shop a couple times to get them some outside time because I had the doors closed so they could not go outside and bother Jeremiah.
