HUMID

SUNDAY

I got up with Lil Bit at 2AM as he was overheated. I set up a couple fans in the bedroom to get it cooler for him. Finally realizing that the down comforter was soaking up his heat & he could not get cool, I got a quilted blanket and put it down instead. He settled down immediately.

We slept late and got up around 8:15. The dogs were overeager to see us get up. Ben kept nosing us, Maggie kept coming in our bedroom and forcing hubby to pet her.

I started making breakfast and had assumed the kids already left because they wanted to be gone by 5AM to get a good campground site at Glacier National Park; however, they were still in the house and came up to talk to us.

They packed all their stuff up and KRN talked to us about getting drunk & having fun at the Scavenger Hunt at Iron Horse Saloon last night. Lots of their friends from high school turned out.

The kids left around 9AM. Then hubby had his breakfast while the dogs got their eggs & pills. We finally went for a dog walk in Farragut Park around 10:00. It was already getting humid & hot out. We found that it had rained at the park. Very muggy. We walked the dogs thru the Shooting Range trail. Maggie went off-leash at the beginning and Buddy went off leash on the way back. However, we had to put Bud back on leash because he ran off into the woods. Also saw some horseback riders.

Got back to the Excursion and gave them water. We drove to Garfield Bay to get our cantaloupe that we had left on the boat. Forgot the keys because I had not taken my purse, so hubby had to walk around the side of the security gate. Nobody was down at the dock!

Then we drove back to Sagle and stopped at the Fruit & Vegetable Stand. Hubby got more cherries, watermelon & potatoes.

We then drove back home and just relaxed in the Air Conditioning all day. Hubby was on the computer and watched TV; I took a nap with Maggie from about 5PM to 6PM.

Matt called to let us know they got to Glacier safely and had secured a campground.

Watched a movie- Safe House, on free Showtime.

There were over 12 deer that came and ate food & drank water here tonight.

Drove Matt's truck down to the big storage shop around 9:00 and then walked back.

Tried to look for the Perseid meteor shower. but there was lightning outside and we could not see any meteors. Saw lots of stars, tho.

Hubby's Vac Day & Kids 10-Year Reunion

FRIDAY

Got up and made eggs for dogs. Made sandwich & latte for hubby. Let him borrow my cup because we are all out of latte cups.

I got everything cleaned up, started laundry & dishes. I went outside to mow the rest of the dog yard. There was a rock that popped up and hit my leg. I had to come inside because it swelled up and would not stop bleeding.

Now the lawn is done and looks great. A plastic piece of the lawn mower fell off.

Then I rested for 15 minutes. Went outside to pick up all the dog poo.

Once the dog poo was picked up, I  helped hubby clean out the fish tank.

Fish are clean & happy. Clear water at least for a couple days!!!

Loaded dogs up in the Excursion and loaded the lawn mower up on the trailer. We drove up to Sagle and dropped the lawn mower off at Bob's Yard Machine Repair. He said he would look at it and have it fixed in a week.

We stopped off at the Careywood Post Office and I went inside to get 3 dozen eggs. Then we drove the back way to Farragut Park and took the dogs for a walk around the sewage pond area.

The dogs were awfully hot and required lots of water. Isabelle kept walking slower and slower. She finally made it back ok. She drank lots of water.

We drove to Athol and hubby made his Victory Auto bill, then we stopped at the Vet's office so that I could get Isabelle's painkillers. Then also purchased County license tags for Lil Bit & Isabelle because they were set to expire.

When we got home, we picked up the mail. Unloaded the dogs.

We watched tv for a little while, then hubby had to go into town to pick up a truck and stop at CN Diesel. I stayed home with the dogs while he was gone.

KRN came at 6:00 with her jeep & Bravo. She unloaded stuff into our fridge for safe-keeping. Then Matt came about an hour later. KRN took a shower, Matt went down to see how hubby was doing at the shop.

I printed out KRN's paperwork for their Scavenger Hunt.

Matt accidentally broke the step on the deck when some boards rotted thru. KRN went out to get her hairbrush and fell thru the step, breaking her big toenail. It split in two. I went down to the shop to get Matt and he commiserated with her hurt toe. We put a bandaid & ice on it.

Matt kinda fixed the step. Hubby will have to repair it tomorrow.

Kids went to bed at 10:00.

It started raining about 10:30. It rained really hard. Just poured. Everything smells like mold again. Too much rain.


SATURDAY

I got up when all the dogs woke us up, it was 7:15. We had slept late!!! So I went down stairs and turned on the espresso machine and fell asleep on the couch again until 8:15. KRN came up the stairs and was in the bathroom which woke me up. I sat up on the couch and she was not expecting me to be awake. We both looked at each other and laughed.

Guys got up and I made breakfast. Made latte. Kids got all their stuff together and left. They were going to their 10-year high school reunion in CDA at Broadmore Park. Hope they have fun.

Kids got back around 3PM, then KRN told me all about the fun they had. Hubby was down at the shop and had said that he would be back by 3PM so that we could go to the Spokane RV Show at the Fairgrounds. But by 4PM, he was still not home, so I went down to check on him. He was talking to our friend Leo.

We came back to the house and KRN was cutting up the watermelon they bought & the strawberries. Then they got dressed to go out for dinner at the Iron Horse Saloon in CDA. They were also going to bar-hop with their Scavenger Hunt for the adults of their 10-year Reunion.

There was no sound and we did not hear the dogs bark all night. We assumed that the kids had not come home. However, KRN was severely drunk & threw up in the front yard; Matt could not get the door unlocked downstairs, so he brought her around upstairs. They went to bed very late.

One Day Before Hubby's Vac Day

THURSDAY

I feel better this morning. Energy. No sleeping.

Got up and made hubby breakfast sandwich. We are totally out of latte cups and hubby "forgot" his other cup in his work truck. Made eggs for dogs.

Hubby left and I did laundry & dishes.

Drank my juice and sat on the couch.

At 10:00, I went out to mow the circle driveway and the front yard of the house. Started at 68 degrees when I first went out and then it increased to 75 degrees by the time I was done. I was sweating, dirty, and exhausted.

Will have to mow the dog yard tonight.

Cleaned the dog bowls & collapsed to rest for a while.

HUMP DAY

WEDNESDAY

Mid-week. Got up and made sandwich for hubby & latte. Made eggs for dogs.

When hubby left, I did the laundry and dishes.

Napped on the couch again. I really think that the sleeping pills are too much.

Then got up in the afternoon and vacuumed. Cleaned out the dog dishes. I loaded deer food in the bowls outside.

Hubby got home with Dog food & Deer food.

He went down to the shop to work. I made Stuffed Peppers for him.

SUNDAY & GROCERIES & NAILS

SUNDAY

Woke up early and dogs refused to let us sleep in; hubby got up at 4:45 to pee. Then came back to bed.

Made breakfast for hubby; we took dogs for a walk in the park along the Shooting range road. Isabelle was really exhausted and panting. All the dogs were panting by the time we got to the shooting range; we gave them lots of water. It was not too hot or humid. We sat in the shade for quite a while.

Took all the dogs home and we loaded Maggie & Bed who came along with us to the boat. Stopped at Lil Town Market and I sat in the a/c Dodge with the dogs while hubby went inside to get drinks & sandwiches. On the drive to the boat, hubby wanted to get gas at the station in Cocolalla, but people were not moving their cars once they fueled up; so he got frustrated and went to the station across from Java Bear in Sagle. Hubby picked up cheddar Sunchips for the boat.

We noticed a tent set up at the side of the road next to the gas station that was selling fruit & vegetables (but the people were smoking cigarettes!) so we got cucumbers, cherries, Sugar Baby watermelon which was recommended to us by another woman there, red/yellow/green peppers, potatoes, and corn on the cob. It was super cheap and all the food looked really good. They said it was from the Washington valley.

Continued to the boat. There was almost nobody on the lake today by the community park. We unloaded & hubby had to poop before we went on the boat. We went to our usual hangout, but the water had lots of debris...so we continued on to the middle. It was so cold and we needed to find shallow water. We finally motored over to Camp Bay and anchored in 30 feet of water. Threw in the blow up tubes and stayed there for quite a while. Maggie wanted to jump in REALLY badly. We need to get a loading dock for the dogs to get back into the boat next year. We had our sandwiches when we got out. My stomach was sick afterwards and I had very bad diarrhea. Then our toilet backed up and would not flush!

After playing a game of Yahtzee, it was getting late. We motored back slowly and the sun was starting to set. It was shady in the west side of the mountains of the lake. Finally got back to the Marina and hubby docked the boat into the gas/pump out area just before a HUGE wind blew up with dark clouds. Looked like a really bad storm.

I loaded the dogs into the Dodge and helped hubby dock the boat in our slip by walking around. He did it pretty good as the wind died down just for those few minutes.

We unpacked everything and hubby tried to fix the macerator. It was still not working. Hubby had to scoop the sewage out of the toilet that had not been vacuumed into the sewage hold. Yuck.

By 7:00, we were on the road. It was really dusty and blowing. There were several branches that had fallen out of trees onto the road to Sagle. My back hurt and I felt very sick on the way home.

At home, the other dogs had really missed us. We gave them treats of our sandwiches.

I tried to take a hot bath to make myself feel better, but it did not work.

Started laundry and dishes.

Maggie went upstairs right away and laid down on her bed. She did not come down the rest of the night!

Bit fell asleep on my chair and REALLY slept!

Hubby and I did not feel good all night. We finally went to bed at 11:00.



MONDAY

Got up and made breakfast & latte for hubby. Made eggs for dogs.

I did not feel good from yesterday's boating. Still rocking again.

After doing the dishes & laundry, I fell asleep on the couch for a couple hours. Just could not wake up.

I made an appointment to get my nails done on Tuesday.

Hubby came home. We left the dogs at home and took the Excursion to Rathdrum to pick up the trailer from #3's house; he had borrowed the trailer. Then we drove to Post Falls to pick up the Tahoe again. People had tried to take it on vacation and the rear end blew out again?

Then hubby and I went to get groceries at Walmart. Lots of idiots there. I don't want to shop there anymore. Some woman elbowed me in an aisle TWO times. Dumb broad. Then a tattooed young mother ignored her kid that had SHIT his pants in the checkout line behind us. The kid kept trying to get to the candy while we were unloading our groceries onto the conveyor belt and all she could do is tell him "I'm mad at you. I am very angry." But she would not take him to the bathroom only 10 feet from the checkout! Dumb fucking bitch.

After Walmart, we went to Wendy's to get burgers for the dogs.

At home, we unpacked everything. Dogs were really happy to see us. Gave them their burgers.

Hubby went down to the shop with my FMF to make sure there was air in the tires.

We were so tired and fell into bed by 10PM.



TUESDAY

I got up and made egg sandwich & latte for hubby. Made eggs for dogs.

After hubby left, I did the dishes & laundry.

Then fell asleep on the couch again. Too many sleeping pills? Got to wean myself off them. I am exhausted.

I was going to shave my legs & wash my hair, but I was too tired to do anything.

Changed clothes & put on mascara.

Left home at 4:00; went to Athol to get gasoline, but there was an idiot there filling his gas cans in the back of his pickup truck with a topper on it. He could have blown up quite easily and had the back of his truck LOADED with gas cans. People are SO STUPID.

So I drove to Rathdrum and got gasoline there. Then got a latte at Jitterz. Picked up Bailey's at the Liquor store for hubby. Then went to Nail place to get my nails & toenails done. Rhonda was happy to see me again.

At 6:45, I was done. Stopped at the grocery store to pick up a couple things we had forgotten (bones), hamburger, more onions. Also got burgers for the dogs at McDonalds.

Home by 7:00 and gave burgers to the dogs. Hubby was exhausted so he stayed home all night. We went to bed early again. 

Rain & Rain

FRIDAY

Rain and more rain. Made breakfast for hubby and puppies. Hubby had his latte.

It rained all day today. An awful moldy smell outside. Puppies were bored and stayed inside all day.

At 11:30, I took Isabelle and Lil Bit down to the Vet for their annual check-ups. Lil Bit was PERFECTLY behaved. I rubbed him under his chin and he went into a trance!

Both dogs are in perfect health per the vet and Isabelle only shows signs of severe arthritis in her hips & legs.

When hubby came home, he had a quick dinner and went to shop to work.. He took Isabelle with him. She sat in the truck while he worked.

I exercised on elliptical 11 miles.

Hubby came home at 11PM. I was very tired & went to bed.


SATURDAY


Hubby wanted to sleep late and we did not go to get eggs at the Community Center. I got up at 7:30 and made breakfast & latte. Fed dogs a leftover sandwich from hubby's lunch the other day.

We walked dogs in the park at the Shooting range. The dogs saw some deer crossing the road in front of us, but did not even try to run after them! Good dogs.

Came home and hubby went down to shop to work.

I saw some deer run past our yard around 1:00, then the neighbor's dogs came running past. I went down stairs to bring the Momma dog inside so I could fetch a leash. But the puppy ran back across the road & almost got run over! Dumb neighbors!

I walked the Momma dog across to the neighbors, and even after knocking it took somebody about 2 minutes to come to the door!

It seems that the neighbors have relatives staying with them as there was a large RV and a SUV parked with all the doors open and blankets & rugs strung up in the trees. I suggested they keep the dogs inside or leashed as lots of wild animals run in the woods!

Got the mail.

Came back & called hubby. A letter from the bank indicated that one of our credit cards has been compromised with a retail outlet. They suggested putting a fraud notice on it and contacting them if we noticed any unusual charges. I told hubby he needs to get a new card.

MINUS Friday

THURSDAY 

Made breakfast & latte for hubby. Dogs got their pills with eggs.

Hubby left for work.

I started laundry & dishes.

It rained for a very short while.

I washed the outside door mat. Brought in the dog bed from outside so it wouldn't get wet. While I was outside, I got stung by another wasp. On my right shoulder. I immediately took 3 allergy pills again so I would not get allergy reaction. My arm swelled up right away.

I fell asleep on couch, but hubby & daughter kept calling me on phone so I got no rest.

Hubby came home after 1 hour OT. He brought more milk.

Hubby went down to shop to work for a while.

I watched tv show Motive.

Mostly Cool & More Bees

WEDNESDAY

Got up and made breakfast for hubby. He left for work.

I started on the dishes & laundry.

My hand is still pretty much swollen & hurts a lot.

While Ben was trying to sleep on his dog bed in the corner, a bee stung him on his tongue. I immediately gave him an allergy pill. WHAT is the problem with bees this year? There are SO many bees hanging around in the house.

MONDAY

It was much cooler today. Started out at 50 degrees this morning. Instead of turning on the swamp cooler, we just opened the doors.

Made breakfast for hubby. The rest of the sausage biscuits & gravy. He left and I started doing dishes & laundry.

TUESDAY

Made breakfast egg sandwich with sausage patty for hubby.

I did laundry & dishes.

Thawed chicken to bake.

Tried to pick up a half dead bee & it stung me on my left hand, ring finger. It immediately swelled up and went numb. I took 3 allergy pills and put anti-sting on it. Fortunately, I remembered to take off my wedding ring before it swelled too much.

I was pretty much out on the couch for the rest of the day with a hand swollen to twice its size.

Hubby came home and went down to the shop for a while. I made him bbq chicken while he and Isabelle went to the store to get milk & eggs. Bud was down at the shop for a while, but came home. He stopped to get a drink out of the pond before he came up to the door.

I watched a little tv; an awful movie - The Eiger Sanction with hubby before going to bed at 10:00.

ANOTHER DAY OF REST

SUNDAY

Got up at 7:00. The dogs let us sleep in!

I made more sausage gravy & egg biscuits for hubby; made latte & made eggs for the dogs.

Then we watched Scooby-Doo on TV; hubby worked on the lawn mower, then we got ready to go up to the boat for a while.

Hubby tried working on the riding lawn mower and checked everything he could, but found nothing to fix. He suggested we take it to the repair shop on his next day off.

Drove to the boat with Bud & Ben. Hubby backed the Dodge into the first parking place by the ramp. Hubby went to get ice bags from Ron at the Marina store.

We motored out to our favorite spot, threw out the floaties, Ben got to go swimming with a life vest on. He was glad to get out.

A boat came and anchored out near us. They had a baby Saint Bernard puppy that they took over to the beach. It was whining and our dogs kept popping their heads up on the boat to watch it. Bud was quite concerned and had a serious look on his face each time he would look over at the puppy.

Got out of the water after the sun went behind some clouds. Had lunch. Hubby grilled Brats and I had Asparagus! Yum.

The sun kept going behind clouds. After lunch we went back into the water for a while. Because the grille was still too hot, we were unable to use the swim ladder; Hubby almost broke the grille post when he tried to get back into the water and used the post as a hand hold while lowering himself into the water. Around 5:00, we motored back to the Marina.

Packed up and left. Almost nobody at the Marina today.

Came back home and unpacked. Got laundry & dishes going. Hubby baked his potatoes. 

We watched a couple movies; a re-run of The Adjustment Bureau & Inside Man then went to bed.

VACAY DAY

FRIDAY

Slept in until 7AM. Dogs finally forced us to wake up. Got up and made breakfast eggs for hubby & dogs and a latte for hubby.

We took dogs to walk in park. Lots of people there, so we went on a different trail with lots of weeds. I am emailing a complaint to the State Parks dept to make them aware that Farragut does not mow weeds at all on trails or anyplace else.

On the way back, we stopped at the Vet Office and got their toenails trimmed. It was easy because I took one dog in at a time and hubby helped (by sitting in the Excursion with the air conditioning running full blast).

At home, hubby loaded up garbage for the dump. Helped me carry out rugs to power wash. I power washed the rugs. Then he helped me clean out the fish tank (again) because it was totally green with scum. We need a more powerful filtration system!

Then I put away the power washer while he went to the dump. I also put away the boat canvas in the basement.

We were both soaking wet & tired by the time we got done. Noon.

After packing things up, we drove up to Sandpoint with Bud, Ben, and Maggie. Got pizza for hubby at Pizza Hut and burgers for the dogs at McDonalds. While waiting for the pizza & hot wings, we took a walk around the Sandpoint Mall. It was very hot and the dogs drank a lot of water by the time we got back to the Dodge. Hubby turned the A/C on high.

It was late, so we decided to dock sit by the time we got to Garfield Bay & the boat. Hubby ate his pizza and the dogs had burgers. Bud managed to bite a honey bee that was flitting around the boat. We gave him an allergy pill. The neighbors across from us in the houseboat came back and lighted up the stinky tiki lights & cigarettes. Hubby and I tried to play UNO on the back of the boat, but the awful stink drove us to the cabin. We played until 10:00, took the dogs on another beautiful walk around the Marina to see the stars, then went to bed.

SATURDAY

In the morning at 6:00, we woke up to Ben chewing one of the pillows on the boat. He is such a bad dog lately! He chews everything! Maybe baby teething again?

The wind came up VIOLENTLY on the lake and it must have been blowing at 20-25 MPH. The waves were capping on the lake. It looked worse than when we took the boat out the other day and got the rope entangled in the propellers!

So we walked the dogs and then packed everything up. Drove home. Got drinks at Java Bear on the way home.

I made eggs for the dogs and hubby gave them their pills. I also made special sausage gravy & biscuits with egg on top for hubby.

He did not really like the biscuits, so I found another recipe online to try. These biscuits turned out PERFECTLY! So hubby kept eating them all afternoon with Strawberry jelly.

We sat home for the rest of the day just relaxing in the A/C. It got up to about 94.

Deer came to the yard and drank water along with eating deer food. It was nice to see them.

At around 8:00, hubby went to Lil Town Market to get more milk for the morning.

I finally went to bed at 10:00.

RATHDRUM DAYZE

SUNDAY

Got up early at 6:30 and made breakfast & latte. Dogs got their pills, but Isabelle vomited hers up before we left the house.

Took dogs for walk in the park at Farragut; down the Gun Shooting road.

When we came back, hubby hooked up the trailer and got the Roc Bronc ready to go. I sprayed the Excursion with water because it was so filthy and dusty. Hubby filled the riding lawn mower with gas and then he took off for Rathdrum Dayze to compete & help in the Rock Crawl there sponsored by RMOR.

I vacuumed the entire house and cleaned. Washed clothes. Then was exhausted and sat down for a while.

Last Day of a Long Week

FRIDAY

Was hot today, so had the swamp cooler on all day.

I was sick all day today. Extreme exhaustion, vomiting, and diarrhea. Maybe something I ate or stomach flu?

Hubby finally got home at 5:30 and sat on the couch for a while. He finally got up to cut the chain off the tree in the back yard and then went out to try to fix the lawn mower.

Went to bed late after watching Charlie's Angels; what a bad movie.



SATURDAY

Got up early and took dogs for a walk. By the time we came back at 8:00, the kids were waiting on the deck. Beebo was happy to see us.

Matt left to go spend the day with his brother Addison.

Hubby went down to the shop for 1 hour to unload parts from Dodge. KRN and I went down to Lil Town Market to get snacks & sandwiches.

By the time we got home, hubby was at the house ready to go. We left all the dogs at home. Took the FMF to Garfield Bay. Got drinks at Lil Bear Espresso. Not many people at Garfield Bay.

Cleaned the boat, got ice and then hubby moved the boat down to the gas dock while KRN got the floaties blown up by Ron at the Marina. We helped hubby get gas & then took off to a little cove. Had lunch before we got in the water. Swam around until 3:30; I even swam over to the beach by myself.

Then the wind came up violently. Started white caps & 1-2 foot waves. We decided to go back to the dock.

Unloaded everything and headed up the camp area so that KRN could check out the camp sites. Then we went home. Dogs were happy to see us! Matt got there after a few minutes.

Matt & KRN left to go shopping at Black Sheep (they were closed by 7pm) and then Cabellas. Hubby and I watched a little TV and then went to bed.

Before we got into bed, hubby rubbed a lot of aloe vera on me. I had burnt my face & shoulders quite a bit while we were in the water.

ANOTHER Summer Day

THURSDAY

Hubby got up REALLY early this morning. Wish he would learn to sleep until the alarm rings. The dogs got up with him and I slept until the alarm rang.

Bit had peed on the dust ruffle on our bed trying to keep Maggie away, so we had to take that off and clean it. Hubby helped me lift up the mattress.

Then I made breakfast sandwich & latte for hubby. Made eggs for dogs.

Hubby put gasoline in new lawn mower.

I started mowing around 8:00. The lawn mower would not stay running, so hubby will have to look at it.

Came inside and did washing. Did dishes and put them away.

Made chocolate muffins later.

Temperature made it up to 100F degrees again.

Went down to get mail with Bud, but there was nothing there.

Bud was quite out of breath & hot when he returned. He settled down in front of the fan & cooled off. The swamp cooler kept it pretty cool today.

Hubby came home around 6:00 and then went down to the shop to work.

TUESDAY

It is pretty hot out already today, even before we get out of bed. Which is pretty nice = a typical summer day.

Got of bed and made hubby breakfast sandwich & latte. Dogs got their eggs & pills.

Did laundry & dishes. Fed the deer, Fed the fish. Cleaned up house a little.

When hubby came home tonight at 6:00, he brought a grilled cheese sandwich that he had gotten at a place called MELTZ in Coeur d'Alene. It was called a Border Patrol which featured Pepper Jack, Colby Jack, Jalapeno Bacon, Buttermilk Fried Onions, Roasted Garlic, and Ranch on it along with some house special fried Idaho Russet potato chips with Extreme seasoning blend. A heart attack in the making! But hubby liked it and the Yelp reviews were good.

After hubby had a snack, took Maggie & Lil Bit with us to get our (new) used John Deere riding lawn mower. We drove to Elkhorn Ranch over by Rathdrum. The lawn mower even came with a snow blade & extra battery. Owner had kept it garaged its whole life. The seat is a little cracked, but we can buy another one for about $40.

The people had two little fat chihuahuas. One looked like a miniature Isabelle. Same waddle.

We came back & unloaded trailer and dogs.

Drove to Sandpoint to go grocery shopping at WalMart.

Came back and unloaded groceries.

Watched a little tv & went to bed.

WEDNESDAY

Woke up this morning when hubby got out of bed at 5:00AM. He came back to bed but could not sleep.

When I woke up, it was already hot & muggy. I could not understand why but finally looked outside & saw that it had rained. I did not bring in dog's bed or the rugs outside, so that stuff is soaking wet. More washing to do...

It stinks outside again. Like more mold.

Made hubby his breakfast sandwich with new whole wheat Cibatta bread that we bought last night. Dogs had their eggs & pills.

I made long grain & wild rice for dinner tonight with chicken.

MONDAY

When we went to bed last night, there were multiple mosquitoes in our bed unbeknownst to us. I was itching and scratching like mad when I finally got out of bed at 12:30!

I took 3 allergy pills and went back to bed hoping that the little bloodsuckers had bit their last! Calming down, I was asleep in another 1/2 hour.

Unfortunately as doped and drugged as I was, I was unable to get up at 6:30 and make hubby breakfast.

I finally dragged myself out of bed after Ben jumped in with me and Maggie put her immense paws next to my head while licking my face!

Laid down on the couch and passed out until Noon.

I had the swamp cooler on for a while, but it was not really that hot so I turned it off.

Washed my hair. Did laundry & dishes.

The dogs are SO soft after their bathes. I just can't quit petting them.

SUNDAY

Got up at 7:00 and made banana egg pancakes, cheese ham eggs for dogs & hubby's breakfast sandwich, and latte for hubby.

I had vegetable juice drink for breakfast.

I was REALLY good and resisted the super yummy smelling donuts from Krispy Kreme that hubby had gotten last night.

We went for dog walk in Farragut Park at the shooting range. Was A BEAUTIFUL DAY. Hubby kept singing the song lyric, so on the way out of the park, I had to pull up the tune on YouTube so we could hear it.

Once home, we unloaded dogs and packed up snacks for the boat. Bud & Ben went with us.

We got on the boat by 11:00. Stopped to get lattes at Big Bear Latte. Fortunately the good girl was making drinks. She talked about her allergy to gluten & milk giving her hives on her arm. Said she was going on vacation for 2 weeks with her hubby to Universal Studios & Disneyland.

Almost forgot to untie the boat & took the dock with us when we launched! Silly hubby.

Tried to find a place to anchor by the shoreline, but lots of river debris in the water. Instead we went out to the middle of the lake & let the boat drift while we swam while wearing our life vests.

Had snacks on boat & played a VERY long game of UNO.

Went  back at 4:30. Back to dock by 4:30. Unloaded boat & tied down by 5:00.

Stopped at the office & paid Ron an extra month of Docking rental.

Drove home. Unloaded. Maggie, Bit & Izzy were overjoyed to see us.

Tried to watch movie The Mechanic starring Jason Statham, but hubby fell asleep.

We washed dogs instead. We got soaked!

Hubby grilled chicken for my salads this week.

Brushed Maggie. She sheds lots of hair!!!

FRIDAY

Feeling better and getting out of bed this morning without feeling exhausted. Juice diet is clearing out the poison in my body.

Made latte for hubby and cheese eggs (forgot to thaw the ham!) gave the dogs a few pieces of steak as their early morning snack instead.

Hubby left and I did dishes & laundry.

Paid bills.

I am back to exercising again on the elliptical.

Took Ben to the Vet for a re-check on his ears. Bud rode with us and stayed in the car for the few minutes we were inside. Ben weights 101.5. The left one was still bothering him and had ear yuck in it, so Dr Mike put a little more BNT ointment in his ear.

The water is still running in the ponds to filter it out. Might turn it off tonight.

Hubby came home at 6:00 and met with people down at the shop; He finally got home at 6:45 and ate a brief dinner, then took Bud & Izzy down to the shop with him.

Day Before Friday

THURSDAY

Still drugging ourselves because we get bit up by mosquitoes every night. I have 4 bites on my scalp and hubby has had his leg eaten during the night when he sticks it out of the covers!

I got up this morning at 6:40, still drugged but feeling better because I only took 2 pills instead of 3. I made breakfast for dogs, egg sandwich & latte for hubby.

Then after hubby left for work, I did dishes and laundry. Put laundry away.

Changed fish filters as they were filthy again. We need to figure out some other way of filtering the fish water that keeps it cleaner.

Dogs were bored again today. Ben is especially missing Lil Bit because he has NOBODY to play with; Maggie refuses to play with him. Bud only randomly plays with him outside.

Made potato boats for hubby when he came home at 6:30.

Bud & Isabelle went down to the shop with hubby to work. Isabelle stayed in the truck while Bud came home about an hour later. He drank a lot of water out of the ponds in the circle driveway and brought his wet footprints up onto the deck where he "stamped" his paw prints!

Woke up from being drugged again with Benadryl. Felt like I had a hangover. SO depressed.

Made latte & egg sandwich for hubby. Eggs for dogs & they got their pills.

Took a nap on the couch. Difficult to wake up.

Watched REALLY BORING new show - The Bridge. I hate it. Acting is stilted. Plot is slow moving. Unexplained events. Why is the lead actress acting like she is Autistic? Too much spanish which I don't want to hear. Show seems slanted towards sympathy to illegals. Never watching it again.

Dinner at Dover Bay Cafe; I have NEVER tasted food this GOOD! I had the chicken breast, hubby had the brisket steak burger. My asparagus was perfectly cooked. The flavors on the chicken breast were divine!

TUESDAY

Made latte & egg sandwich for hubby. Dogs got their pills & eggs.

Closed the house up quickly and turned on the swamp cooler. It started getting really hot really soon.

I did laundry & washed all the bedding; then did a little vacuuming around the place. Repeatedly got fresh water for the dogs all day.

Started the water in the lower pond so the deer have fresh water and added bleach to the upper pond. When hubby came home, I put the hose in the upper pond.

104 degrees at 5:00PM.

95 degrees at 6:30PM.

Hubby was home long enough to have a snack & water, watch a little Seinfeld reruns and then he took Isabelle & Bud with him to Post Falls to pick up a truck.

Hubby brought home Pizza Hut pizza flatbread when he got back home at 7:30.

Still pretty hot.

Watch a little tv, deer came to eat food and hang out.

Went to bed at 11:00.


WEDNESDAY

Slept late. Hubby's first day off of the holiday.

I got up and made latte & egg sandwich for hubby. Eggs for the puppies.

We took dogs for a walk at Farragut Park. Hubby took garbage to dump.

Ran around town doing stuff for RMOR; Left all the dogs at home because it was too hot to leave them in the truck.

Called Bottle Bay to reserve Jet Ski for Matt on July 4 as a way to say Congratulations on his promotion.

Hubby made burritos when we got home, balled melon, sandwiches for the boat.

Kids came over tonight.

We had set the A/C to come on at 5AM. By 10:00 it is already 80 degrees outside. Supposed to reach 100 today.

Made latte & egg sandwich with sausage for hubby. Dogs got their pills and huggies. Then they went outside on the deck to say goodbye to hubby.

Hubby forgot to get dog food last night, so I have to run into Lil Town Market sometime today to get some.

It still stinks outside. Mold and wet and there is just too much rain this year. Hope it stays warm & sunny for a while.
