MONDAY / DEC 8 / CLEAN CARPETS

MONDAY

DECEMBER 8 2025

I was up at 12:30AM and went potty. Went back to bed.

Then I was up at 4:30AM because Hubby was snoring.

I went to the sofa to sleep. It was freezing in the house.

At 6AM, Hubby got up and let dogs outside. He started to make them breakfast. 

I was up at 6:15AM. 

I got dressed. Folded blankets. I made the bed. Had to put on a sweatshirt because it was cold.

I picked up dog poo outside. Turned on Xmas lights outside.

Threw the BALL for Riley a couple times. It was too cold to be outside very long.

Hubby made DOG GROG egg breakfast for the dogs and fed them. He gave cheese & tuna to the cats. 

I made hot eggnog latte for Hubby, hot latte, hot tea, and Nanogreens for myself.

I put dog blankets in the dryer. I put dirty laundry in the washer. 

I worked on my blog. Went thru Business email. 

Hubby took stuff out to the car. He took Tater to work with him because the Coyote Carpet Cleaners are coming today.

I cleaned counters. I put away clothes. I gathered all the garbage and put it in the can outside by the fence.

I wrapped another present for the top of the cabinets. I put blue balls out in our tree in the front of the house.

I played BALL with Riley.

PBJR slept on her dog bed outside in the sun.

The USPS lady came and dropped off packages. PBJR's first Christmas ornament. The Tool Box labels for Hubby's Xmas present. But they looked awful and cheap plastic. I thought there were metal. The font looked awful and did not match the picture on Amazon. I returned them.

The CARPET CLEANERS got here promptly at 1PM. They worked. Carried the patio rug to the front to clean. Cleaned all the rugs inside the house (minus our closet) I cleaned the outdoor furniture-the metal chairs & glider. They cleaned the cushions. 

I kept PBJR and Riley outside while they were working.

The carpet cleaners left at 2:15PM. 

I was exhausted. Made 2 chicken & mayo sandwiches. I made more hot tea. Collapsed on the sofa.

Hubby & Tater got home at 4:30PM after they stopped at Mesquite Business Center.

Hubby helped me move furniture back to their original positions on the back patio and in the living room. Have to wait longer for the bedroom carpets to dry. 

I put the fan into our bedroom to dry the carpet. 

I put the cat pillow from the front room into the washer because they were covered in cat hair.

I went outside and put Xmas pillow covers on the pillows for the patio furniture.

Hubby found Riley's ball in Gary & Dawn's back yard. He pulled it thru with a rake.
