OCTOBER 10 2025
I was up at 4AM as usual and went potty. Slept on the sofa.
Hubby was up at 6AM with the dogs and let them outside for potty.
He started making breakfast eggs for the dogs & fed them.
I took a hot bath because EVERYTHING hurt again.
Then we loaded the dogs into the FMF and drove to the Info Center to walk them. Nobody was there. As we were leaving, some man (Calif plates) stopped to see if the bathrooms were open.
Then we drove to Maverik to get burritos and a slice of breakfast pizza. Hubby complained about greasy, grimy, slimy, dirty parking lot. I got home later and wrote an email to the compamy asking them to clean.
MAVERIK GAS. PRICES ARE NOT COMING DOWN!
Went to Fat Dough bakery. Got cinnamon roll, cookies, day-old danish. All mediocre at best. Not stopping there again.
We drove home because Morris, the hot tub guy, was supposed to come at 9AM. But he texted and wanted to come tomorrow.
Hubby took me to get my nails done at GS Nails at 10AM. I got Woman in Red color.
Hubby went to cash a customer's check at MACU. He withdrew money at America First CU.
Hubby went to the post office and ran into Jay&Amy. They both have COVID. Post Office was too busy.
Hubby picked me up.
Stopped at America First CU to get cashier's check, but they wanted us to DEPOSIT CASH into our account, then take it out for the Cashier's check. I have never heard anything so stupid. The bank always held the money in a special account for cashier's checks. WHY do you have to deposit it in the account. They said it was because of the new government Regime. So only Billionaires can have money now.
Went to Post Office to get money orders, but they want you to fill out paperwork (because of the new government Regime).
We stopped at Chicago Greek. I went inside to get Gyros (come with fries) & Baklava. Hubby went next door to Cash Now place and they DO NOT HAVE MONEY ORDERS!
SIGNS ALL OVER AT PLAZA AT CHICAGO GREEK RESTAURANT
Chicago Greek Gyros were awful. Hardly any meat, no feta cheese, no lettuce. Only 7 french fries.
Then we gave up and went home.
PBJR sat with Hubby on the sofa. She was pushing against the back of the sofa with her legs. Snoring. Dreaming. Kicking.

Hubby took Tater to the Vet for a follow-up appointment to check his ears again; got more Thyroid pills.

I sat on the patio with the girls. We ran to the back fence and saw Hubby & Tater in the Dually.
Hubby had to go back down to the shop at 4PM to meet customers and put their UTV in the shop. He came back home.
We sat on the patio for a while.
Watched TV.
I took a nap.
Watched more TV when I woke up.
Went to bed at 10PM. It was a rough day.
