MONDAY
AUGUST 18 2025
Up at 5AM. Hubby took the dogs out for potty.
I was up at 6AM. Hubby made dog breakfast and fed them. I made the bed.
I got dressed. Made hot latte for Hubby, hot tea for myself and Nanogreens.
Hubby got dressed. He started the laundry. He cleaned cat litter.
I waited on hold for the Social Security Administration from 7AM to 8:15AM and finally talked to Willa and gave her all my info. Then she said there were no appointments available and somebody would call be back "within 7-10 days" to schedule an appointment. Totally wasted call.
Hubby left at 8:30AM in the FMF for the shop.
I picked up dog poo outside. Only 4 piles.
I took a nap with the dogs.
I put away clean dishes. I put away clean clothes.
I filled out SSA-2 online and signed it. Mailed it to the local SSA Office.
I tried to take a nap. That did not work. Tater was up several times today and barked to go outside.
Hubby got home at 3:30PM. He made lunch for himself.
I tried to take a nap. He was on the phone with several people.
At 4PM, Hubby got a call from the woman that wants him to build a BARN DOOR. He was back by 5PM.
Then he wanted me to contact the guy in Pahrump that is selling a mini truck. Arranged to meet him on Wednesday to buy it.
I cleaned the stovetop where the cast iron skillet made stains on the top of the glass.
I re-oiled the cast iron skillet because it was rusting on the bottom.
I got the mailbox keys out of the Jeep and went to get the mail.
The new neighbors (where Bob and his wife lived) have a dog that barked non-stop at me as I walked down to the mailbox and back.
When I came back from getting mail, KRL wanted to see pictures of Tim's Bronco, but we could not find any. I looked all over my pictures on the computer.
Hubby was watching YouTube automotive videos the entire time.
I paid OPD5 electric bills for this month.
I worked on the computer until 10PM.
We watched one episode of Green Acres and went to bed.
