I got up twice to let PBJR out the sliding glass door after all the other dogs were out. Hubby was with the dogs outside on the patio.
Up at 6:30AM. I slept late because of 2 Prednisone, 3 Tylenol, 6 Aspirin, and a Marijuana Gummie that I had taken yesterday.
I made the bed. I went to the kitchen to make hot cinnamon/honey latte for Hubby, hot tea and Nanogreens for myself.
Hubby made breakfast dog grog and fed the dogs. I spoon-fed Riley because she has been picky about eating her food. PBJR came and sat with us after she had finished her own food. I gave her a couple small spoon bites.
Then we cleaned up the plates and napkins. Hubby got dressed.
I wetted down my hair and put conditioner on it.
I put dirty clothes in the washer and started the washing machine.
I went outside to pick up dog poo. It was just spitting rain. I put the dog beds under the patio.
Hubby watched YouTube TV. Hubby cleaned cat litter.
Johnathan finally called and reported that he would not be coming to work for a while.
Hubby left at 8:30AM in the FMF. We all watched him from the front door.
I put away clean clothes. I put away clean dishes. I folded plastic bags into tiny triangles to fit better into the armoire drawer.
I let the dogs out several times. I put the cat food into our bedroom so that I can leave later.
I closed up the house, left the dogs at home with food, water, ice.
At 2PM, I left the house in the Jeep and drove to Desert Pain Clinic.
DESERT PAIN CLINIC
Checked in at reception and had to pay another $95 co-pay. Was lead to the back and prepped by the assistants. Sat in recliner, blood pressure taken, temperature, heart rate.
Then I was taken to the surgery room where I sat in a wheel chair. Nathan, the assistant that looked 17 but was actually 22, put iodine on my hands, but they did not numb my hands for the procedure.
Finally, Dr Nate Clements came to the room. He washed his hands, used the ultrasound with gel to find the nerves/veins. He gave me the steroid shot in the right wrist, then the left wrist. He noted that the inflammation in the right NERVE was twice the size it should be.
I got done with the procedure, Nathan put bandaids on my wrists. I was wheeled back to the recliner in the waiting area.
They checked my blood pressure again. I told them my hands were completely numb and I was told that I could drive back home afterwards. I finally left and had trouble getting into the Jeep, driving the Jeep.
Arriving at home by 3PM, I had only been gone 1 hour. Dogs were happy to see me. I let them out for potty. I put things away.
I sat down on the sofa and took some Ibuprofen. Called Hubby to ask him to come home right after work but he did not come home until 4PM.
I finally laid down on the sofa to take a nap. My hands were still numb and hurting.
Woke up at 6PM and decided to go to bed. Uncomfortable on bed and had to put pilows under my hands.
