THURSDAY / DROP OFF POO & PEE AT VET /

THURSDAY

6-29-2023

 

 

 

 

Awake at 5AM when Hubby let the dogs out for potty. I continued sleeping on the sofa.  

Then Hubby made breakfast eggs for the dogs & fed them. 

I got up at 6:30AM and dressed. Went to the kitchen to make lattes. 

 

Hubby sat on the sofa eating his burrito and drinking latte while watching automotive shows. He did not seem in a good mood.

 

I made the bed. I put away clean dishes. I started washing the comforter. 

 

Then Hubby called Century Ins Co for a customer's UTV billing. He was very frustrated having to wait on the phone for 25 minutes, then the Service Rep refused to do anything about the approval on a bill. 

 

While hubby was waiting on hold, I massaged his neck and cleaned his ears. At least he might feel better.

Then he left. I decided to drive the poo/pee from Wilson to the Vet so I left at the same time.

Dropped off the samples at the Vet. Then went to Mesquite Business Center to mail the license plates from the previous truck owner to AZ. But there were 4 people in line so I left.

Drove home. Gave meat jerky to dogs. Then worked on bookwork.

I spent 1 hour working on registration for SEMA 2023. Verified all emails. 

Made a personal calendar for July 2023.

 

Gave turkey gizzards for the dogs to chew on. 

 

I got done with bookwork at 1:30PM.

 

Vet called at 2PM and said that Wilson's has elevated levels of creatine and needs to be on a Kidney problem diet.  

Hubby got home at 4PM. 

 

We went at 7PM to go find some dog food for Wilson at Tractor Supply Store, but they only had diet food. I bought a couple cans of that. Got a couple dog toys for only $1. 

 

We drove back home.

We watched TV in the A/C. 

Went to bed at 10PM.

 

WEDNESDAY / WATER SOFTENER PELLETS NEED REPLACING

WEDNESDAY

6-28-2023 

Awake at 5AM when Hubby let the dogs out for potty. He went to sit in the livingroom on the sofa. I got up and was hot/sweaty so I went to the living room and laid down on the other sofa. 

I slept until 6:15AM. when Hubby got up to make breakfast eggs for the dogs. 

 

I made lattes.

Hubby cleaned cat litter. I picked up dog poo.

Hubby left for the shop at 6:30AM.

 

I did bookwork.

Justin, the plumber came at 10AM. He re-set the water softener. He dropped a bag of salt pellets on the floor in the garage, so he asked if he could come back tomorrow to re-fill it.

I did bookwork until my brain was fried. I was hurting everywhere and just could not think anymore. Felt like a zombie. 

Hubby got home at 2:30PM and made himself a burrito. He took it along with us to the IV Infusion. I told him he could NOT take it inside as it stank and he should not be eating in the office. He left it outside on the tire of the Jeep because I did not want the smell in the Jeep while we were in the office. 

We got done with IV Infusions fairly quickly as the Dr said I do not need Plaq-X anymore because I have been on the regimen for a year now. It should have cleared the Plaque out of my arteries. He wants me to take tests to see how it is going. Thinks I can do ultrasounds? He will schedule. Hubby paid and we left.

We drove directly back home. 

At home, I had crab rangoon for dinner. We watched Hogan's Heroes on TV. 

I got really tired at 9PM and went to bed. Hubby came to bed later.

At 11:30PM, I was sweating. Hubby had left the A/C on 73 and Tater was curled up on me in bed. I was so hot. I went to the living room and slept on the sofa.

TUESDAY / LUPUS PAIN / BOOKWORK / APPOINTMENT FOR MEDICAL INSURANCE / WALMART

TUESDAY

6-27-2023 

I was up at 6:30AM even tho I had not gotten a lot of sleep. 

Still have Lupus pain. REALLY difficult to think this morning. Felt like a zombie.

 

I got dressed and went to the kitchen to make lattes. 

 

Transferred $ from Quickbooks to Bank.

 

Hubby let the dogs out for potty then he fed them breakfast eggs. 

 

Hubby cleaned cat litter. He took out the garbage can when I had to remind him.

We sat on the sofa watching TV news.

 

Hubby left for shop at 8:30AM. Tater stayed home today because it was too hot outside.

 

I did bookwork all day. I picked up dog poo outside. I put away dishes from dishwasher. I put away clean clothes from laundry.

 

At 11:45AM, I left for my appointment for Medical Insurance. Went to UPS Store to see if they had USPS Flat Rate boxes, but they did not supply them.

 

So I drove to USPS and stopped to get them there. I was still on time for my appointment. Talked to Jon at Medical4Mesquite. He was nice. Explained healthcare options. I made an appointment to come back with Hubby on Friday to discuss Hubby's healthcare options.

 

I drove to Dairy Queen to get an ice cream cone for the boys. 

 

At home, I gave the cone to the dogs. They were happy. Then I let them out for potty.

 

I did bookwork and discovered a glitch that all our checks going to the bank had been duplicated. Fucked up the numbers for P&L.

 

Hubby got home and we left to go get groceries at Smiths. We instead decided to drive to Walmart and get groceries.

 

Got groceries. Saw Paul there with Pam in the car as we were leaving. He came over to say HI.

 

Drove home.

 

Hubby brought groceries in from the Jeep. I helped put away groceries. 

 

I warmed up rice/chicken/onions that Hubby had made for me. 

We watched TV. Hubby fell asleep on the sofa.

 

We went to bed at 9PM.

MONDAY / STARTING 100 ° IN NEVADA / LUPUS PAIN BACK

MONDAY 

6-26-2023

I got out of bed at 1:30AM. Tater was too close and making me hot. Hubby had left the temp on 73° instead of turning it down. I was sweating. 

Got up and went out to sleep on the sofa.

Awake at 6AM when Hubby got up to let the dogs out and feed them breakfast. 

I made lattes in the kitchen. Helped Hubby make the bed. 

I transferred $ from Quickbooks to Bank.

 

Watched morning news for a while. 

Tater & Hubby left at 8:30AM for the shop. It was going to be one of the last days that Tater can be at the shop as it is starting 100 degree temps now. We have had a pretty good Spring so far. 

I cleaned up the front porch as there were little seed pods everywhere that had blown in.

 

Then I put Wilson outside for a while. 

 

I did bookwork for a while.

 

Then I watched TV.

 

At 1:45PM, I got Wilson ready for the Vet. We drove over there for his 2PM appointment and was the ONLY car in the parking lot. The girls at the front desk said that the snowbirds are gone now. 

 

I talked to the Vet. He said Wilson had diarrhea a year ago on their charts. He gave me some stuff to spread on Wilson's food for his gastro problems. They took him back for weight (he is 10 pounds overweight) blood testing. I am to get a sample of his urine & feces for testing. We left after paying the $330 bill. 

On the way home, I stopped at Dairy Queen to pick up ice cream cone for Wilson to make him happy. He was quite upset over getting all the tests done. Drove home. It was 3PM. I started to feel bad. The inflammation pain is coming back.

By the time Tater & Hubby got home at 4:30PM, I was in a full Lupus flare again. I laid down on the sofa and took a nap until 8PM. 

Hubby sat on the sofa all night and fell asleep, too. He got up at 9PM and put the dogs out for potty then he went to bed. 

I stayed up until 9PM, watching TV and looking at stuff on my iPhone. Then I took a hot bath at 1AM. Only stayed in it for 5 minutes because I started sweating.

SUNDAY / GROSS BREAKFAST / SMITHS / PEDICURES

6-25-2023

 

 

 

I slept on the sofa all night. Woke up when Hubby put dogs outside for potty & gave them breakfast.

 

Temps started in 73 degrees this morning. Quite cool.

 

Tater came over and slurped my face. I briefly went potty and back to bed which Hubby had already made. He came in the bedroom and rubbed my back and then left. 

 

I was up 5 minutes later. I got dressed.

 

WILSON & TATER

 

 

We decided to go get pancakes for breakfast. I wanted to go eat at Virgin River Casino Cafe. 

 

We drove there in the Dually with the trailer.

 

Hubby dropped off the trailer with UTV still on it at Jose's lot. 

 

Then we drove to Virgin River. Got seated in a back booth at the Cafe. I ordered Deuces breakfast and Hubby got biscuit with sausage gravy. 

 

My meal was just awful. WET undercooked eggs. Hard as rock pancakes that were overcooked. Almost raw bacon. Sausage that was still pink inside. Almost burnt hashbrowns. I tried to eat it, but Hubby had the waitress return it and they took it off the bill.

 

After we paid & left. Hubby went potty in their restrooms. Then we left. Hubby drove across the street to the Eureka casino and threw up in their parking lot. His breakfast was bad, also. 

 

Drove back to Smith's to get groceries. Some woman in shorts and a tight top kept pushing her cart in front of us. 

 

Then we loaded groceries and drove home. Hubby HAD to drive thru the stupid Suntero Pulte subdivision. Finally got home, picked up mail (mostly junk), and unloaded groceries 

I updated blog. 

We left the house in the Dually at 9:45AM and drove to get our pedicures at GS Nails by 10AM. We were finished by 11AM. We stopped to wash the Dually at the Car Wash by Walmart. Then we returned home afterwards. 

The boys were excited to see us home.

Temps are already climbing to 89 after we returned home.

 

SATURDAY / WASTED TRIP TO CEDAR CITY

SATURDAY 

6-24-2023

 

 

 

Up at 6AM. I got up to potty and then dressed. I went to the kitchen to make lattes. 

 

Hubby was already up and had let the dogs outside. He fed them. 

 

We sat around for a while until 9AM to watch TV. Hubby said there was no hurry as D&P Performance Motorsports in Cedar City were open until 5PM on Saturday and he had talked to Jeremiah "Miah" there. 

So we got ready and packed a backpack with food. Loaded the dogs into the Dually. Drove to Jose's lock up yard and picked up the trailer. Drove to the shop and loaded the UTV that we were delivering to D&P for service.

We drove the old highway to Beaver Dam and got on the I-15 there. But it was not backed up at all. Some idiot in a Tesla trying to force Hubby's truck off the road when we tried to merge. ASSHOLE.

Drove to Cedar City and then took the by-pass road Highway 7 around St George to avoid the traffic. We were listening to a Podcast - Behind the Bastards on the radio. 

At Hurricane, we stopped at the park there to walk the dogs. Gave them water. They drank LOTS of water. We both used the public restroom in the park. 

There was a music festival/craft show/open market in the park next door. 

Then we loaded the dogs up in the Dually and drove on.

 

Hubby went into the Davis Grocery store in La Verkin to pick up some food. He was hungry. He got a chocolate chip cookie that was delicious, some Salted Nut Roll candy bars, and a Teriyaki bowl from their deli. I waited in the A/C truck with the dogs

We then drove on thru Toquerville and got on the I-15. Drove thru to Cedar City where we got off the exit and parked on a side street next to D&P Motorsports. It was odd because the gate was closed. Hubby got out of the truck and walked around. THEY WERE CLOSED AT 1PM. Only today as there was a note in the door. OMG. Fuck this.

Hubby was upset and tried to figure out a way to somehow leave the UTV there, but we did not know anybody in Cedar City.

We decided to drag the stupid UTV with us up to the mountains. We took the Webster Cut Off trail again and looked for a place to walk the dogs.

We found a road, but it dead ended at a private camp where somebody had set up a rustic camp site for hunting? So we got back into the Dually and drove down the road. It got narrower and narrower until Hubby finally found a place to turn around.

On the way back some guy and his kid had blocked the road to let their two German Shepherds out to run. We had to wait until they got them back into the truck.

Hubby drove down a side road for Deer Haven (tent only) Campground. He parked the truck while we waited to go find out if we could camp there in the future.

Then we drove back out on the road and back to Cedar City.

 

Hubby tried to find a storage place to drop off the UTV, but the one we found was closed on Saturdays. FUCK THIS STUPID CITY!

 

There was another festival in the middle of town as we drove thru. We found a nice park to walk the dogs and give them water, but then some idiot had to bring his un-leashed dog to play there and we had to leave.

 

Stopped at Arby's going out of town and got some Arby's beef sandwiches with cheese for the dogs. They were happy to eat them.  

Hubby stopped at a gas station on the side of the Interstate before leaving town and got Diesel fuel. The inside store was closed for 15 minutes??? so Hubby could not use the restroom there. 

We drove all the way thru to Mesquite. Got home at 4PM. 

Unloaded the dogs. I hurt all over again. Put everything away and unloaded the truck. Left the truck/trailer in the front street. 

I was beat. Sat on the sofa all night. 

Dogs went to bed at 10PM. Hubby stayed up and went to bed later. I slept on the sofa all night.

FRIDAY / RIDING BIKES IN ZION NATIONAL PARK / OUTTA HERE BIKE RENTAL

6-23-2023

 

 

Up at 5:30AM. We left the house by 6AM.

 

Packed everything in the Dually. Drove to St George. Dropped off dogs at Doggy Day care by 9PM their time. They were so excited to see their friends.

 

Then we drove thru Hurricane to stop at the River Rock Roasting to get lattes. There was a PILE of Momons in Expedition in front of us that took FOREVER to get their order and pay. Then on the other side, they handed their drinks off to some old Mormon man that was in a duplicate of the same Expedition that had a shit-ton of people in it. They made us wait in line while they fucked around. Hubby finally beeped at them and I gave them the finger for holding up the line. Fucking pricks. We drove up to Zion National Park. 

 

Stopped in Springdale at 10AM and found that I had forgotten my enclosed toe shoes. So we stopped at the grocery store (they had no shoes) and then the gas station across the street where I found some expensive ugly mens shoes to wear. 

 

We drove to Outta Here Bike Rental and the bikes were already set up for us. We had paid and were on our way. The nice man showed us how to use them. It was somewhat awkward as the pedals were behind the seat and it was not like a normal bike. 

 

We rode to Zion National Park entrance. Stopped to show them our park pass and then rode into the park on the Pa'Rus (pah-rey-uus) Trail. Not many people. Not many other bikers. 

When we got on the road where shuttle buses and cars were driving, a stupid white car passed me within inches and stopped right in front of me! FUCKING ASSHOLES.

We found out that "special passes" were given to some cars to drive within the park. The shuttle buses are supposed to wait until you get OFF your bikes, but they often did not wait.

As our day progressed, more and more people came to the park Back on the Pa'Rus Trail there were MANY people that did not want to get over to the right side. I went off the trail because one woman on her bike was over too far. Some idiot girl had 3 dogs she was trying to walk on the trail! Some idiot people in a group would not get over and blocked the trail. Just mutual idiots. 

On the Zion Canyon Scenic Drive, many people were walking (stick to the trails!) and bikes were riding on the wrong side of the road. We rode up the Temple of Sinawava then turned and went back to the Zion Park entrance.

Rode the electric rented bikes into town to find a place to eat. Hubby remembered reading about one restaurant and turned into it. We parked the bikes, secured them with the bike lock 5-5-5-5-5, and went inside to eat. 

Talked to a really nice couple that was just leaving seated next to us. They recommended the burrito and a pilsner beer that was WONDERFUL. Tasted just like the Downdraft in Idaho!!!

We ordered Green Chili patty Melt & Impossible Burger with sweet potato fries at Cafe Oscar in Springdale. Food was wonderful.

After we ate, we returned the bikes to Outta Here Bike rental by 1PM. We bought a magnet for the refrigerator. 

At home, I figured that we had gone over 25 miles in the bikes. What a day!

Got into the Dually and drove back into Cedar City. Then we got on the Interstate 15 to drive back to St George to pick up the dogs. We stopped at Wendy's to get them burgers and chicken. 

Got the dogs and gave them water. LOTS of water. They were so happy to see us, they came GALLOPING out of the back room!

Gave them the chicken & burger. Both of them immediately got into the back seat and slept the whole way home.

Hubby got off at Littlefield to pick up lottery tickets. They did not have the Krispy Kreme donut that I wanted, so he brought out a cream filled and raspberry filled. 

We drove home. At home, unloaded dogs. I was extremely tired. Hurt everywhere (but no Lupus pain) and our butts hurt a lot.

I took a hot bath at 9PM and then went to bed. I fell asleep immediately.

THURSDAY / MOSTLY BOOKWORK

THURSDAY

6-22-2023

 

 

 

Awake at 6AM.  I heard Hubby warming up breakfast eggs in the microwave for the dogs. Sage crawled on me and settled beside my head. She started purring. I petted her for a while.

 

When I got up, I went potty and got dressed. 

 

Went to the kitchen to make lattes.

Hubby went to the bedroom to make the bed and I helped him.

Tater tried to get up on the bed, but we made him get down. Sage walked on the bed while we made it.

Then we took dirty clothes to laundry. I put away dirty dishes in dishwasher.

We sat down and watched morning News. Submersible still lost near Titanic wreckage. 

Hubby & I looked thru old pictures. He laughed at how he sleeps with his bottom jaw open and snores. 

Hubby & Tater left for the shop at 8:45AM. While loading Tater, Hubby spilled his coffee in the back seat and I got Clorox wipes to clean it up. 

 

I picked up dog poo in the back yard. 

 

I put clean clothes away.

 

Justin from Bulldog Pest Control came at 10:28AM. He sprayed the ants and the garage. He put down some powder near the garage door and the front door.

 

Got done with bookwork at 11AM.

 

I picked up more dog poo. 

 

I did more bookwork.

 

UPS female delivery driver rang the doorbell and said she had nFlow package, but offered to drop it at the shop instead. 

 

I did more bookwork.

 

I put away clean dishes.  

I washed Wilson in the tub because he had poop on his butt again.

Hubby finally got home at 5PM with Tater.

WEDNESDAY / SW AWNINGS / IV INFUSION / HOT WEATHER

WEDNESDAY

6-21-2023

 

 

 Up at 6:15AM. Hubby was up by 6:30AM. He was tired from being up all night with the dogs. 

I went to the kitchen to make lattes. Let the dogs outside.

Hubby warmed up breakfast eggs for the dogs & fed them. He put milk and cheese and chicken out for the cats. 

Wilson had gotten up from his dog bed during the night and pooped in the front bedroom doorway and also in my office. I had to clean that up. 

 

I transferred $ from Quickbooks to Bank.

 

I helped Hubby make the bed.

 

I vacuumed out the cat litter in the hallway and the armoire. 

 

I took the dirty clothes to the washer.

 

I cleaned up the kitchen and put dirty dishes in dishwasher.

 

Hubby gave me a ride in the Dually to the mailbox so I can pick up the mail from yesterdays delivery.

 

Opened mail at home.

 

I picked up dog poo.

 I walked down to the mail box, but no mail was there. I took picture of the neighbor's roll up patio screen. I went to their door and rang the doorbell, but nobody answered.

 

I watched TV.

 

Hubby and Tater home by 2:30PM.

 

Drove the Jeep to the IV Infusion. Dropped off a Duck for the kid at BLVD Home Furniture.

 

Got our IV Infusions. It was really busy today. Rodney & his wife were there. She was getting an IV infusion. Rodney showed us his new UTV.

I got Meyers and Plaq-X. Then more Toradol for pain.

Hubby had to run home to get his Testosterone. Then he came back and paid. We left at 5PM.

Drove home in the Jeep.

At home, Hubby warmed up manicotti with bread & butter. He fell asleep about 6PM on the sofa before he had time to eat. He woke up at 8PM and finally had his dinner.

TUESDAY / GARBAGE DAY / ROLL SCREEN GUY / CLEANING DAY

TUESDAY

6-20-2023 

I woke up at 5AM and stayed in bed until 5:30AM. Listened to all the work trucks going past on the road outside.

Hubby had gotten up with the dogs at 1AM and then back to bed. I let him sleep. The dogs stayed with him in bed.

I got up and went potty. Robert was waiting outside the bathroom door and I opened it for him. He was looking for a bug that was in the corner. When I turned him to show him the bug, he yelled at me over his shoulder. MIAOW! But he then found the bug.

 

Then got dressed. I made lattes in the kitchen. I fed the cats some milk and cheese. I opened the front door for the cats. 

I picked up dog poo. I cleaned up the cat litter. Took it and the rest of the garbage beside the house out to the garbage can as the pickup had not come yet.

 

I let the dogs outside for potty. Then I fed the dogs some microwaved breakfast eggs. 

I put dirty clothes in the washer. I put away the clean dishes from the dishwasher. 

 

Hubby got up at 7:45AM. He got dressed & made the bed. 

 

He made himself a warm burrito. Then we took the Dually to Flying J where he got Diesel fuel and I went inside to get Krispy Kreme donuts.

 

I came back outside and dropped my change on the ground - a $10 bill. It almost blew away. Glad it was not blowing like yesterday.

 

When we got back, Tater & Hubby left for the shop at 8:50AM.

 

I watched TV for a while. Band of Brothers

 

I put the comforter in the washer. Then I put away the clean clothes.

At 12:30PM, the Cleaners came so Wilson and I left. We drove to Wendy's to get burgers for the guys at the shop.

Gave Wendy's burgers and clean water to the dogs at the shop.

I fell at the shop while trying to climb over crap from Mark J's vehicle.

Hubby & Casey helped me up. I hurt my hip.

Then I went home with Wilson. 

At home, I was hurting everywhere. I could not take a hot bath because of the blisters on my feet. 

Hubby & Tater got home at 4:30PM. 

Hubby & I went to Smith's in the Dually. We got milk and groceries. 

Tried to stop at the Mexican place for ice cream, but they were closed. So we went to the next door Dairy Queen but the drive-thru was closed "due to technical difficulties". So we drove to the other DQ by Walmart and got vanilla ice cream cones there. 

At home, I gave the ice cream cones to the dogs. They really liked licking them on the patio where Tater slobbered all over. 

Hubby unloaded the groceries. 

We watched TV for a while and went to bed. I had to sleep on a heating pad. Tater crowded me on the bed. Had to clean Wilson's butt before he came to bed. Poop butt.

Dogs got Hubby up at 1AM for potty. They were on the patio until 2AM. Then I had to get up and clean Wilson's butt again. He slept on his dog bed on the floor for the rest of the night.

MONDAY / WINDY / HOT / DOG BATHS / BLISTERS

MONDAY

6-19-2023 

Awake at 6AM. I was hot, sweaty. feet hurting. Tater was sucking on his blanket at the bottom of the bed. Wilson was curled up in my left arm. Sage dripping spit on my left toe and it was getting wet. 

Hubby got up and touched my hand. Then he went potty.

Sage dropped my water bottle on the floor. Tater barked at the door. 

I was up and awake. Went potty. Got dressed. Made the bed.

Hubby let the dogs out and then let them back inside. He put away clean dishes from dishwasher that was running last night.

I went to the kitchen to make lattes. Hubby was warming up breakfast eggs for dogs. & fed them

I cleaned up the counter and put away dishes in dishwasher.

I put dirty clothes in washer. 

Hubby sat down to watch Inglorious Basterds. 

Before he left for the shop, he did kitty litter. I picked up dog poo  and put it in the garbage. 

Wind started blowing. High Wind Warning today. 30-35 gusts. Up to 50 mph at times.

Hubby & Tater left for the shop in the Dually.

At 11:49AM, I ordered pizza from Pizza Hut for the guys. Hubby said Mark would pick it up.

I got done with bookwork at 1:27PM.

I watched Band of Brothers on Amazon Prime.

 

I tried soaking my feet in cool water and putting cream on my ankle blisters from our walk this past weekend.

 

 

HEEL BLISTERS FROM WRONG SHOES

Hubby & Tater got home at 4:30PM.

Hubby warmed up manicottii and made more bruschetta. 

He took a shower with Wilson, then Tater to give them bathes. I blow-dried Wilson 

I picked up all the dog poop. I took the garbage can out to the street.

FATHER'S DAY 

Up at 3:30AM to potty. Tater was sleeping on top of me and I was sweating. So I went out to sleep on the sofa. I fell asleep immediately. No pain.

Tater woke me up at 5:30AM when he barked to get outside. I let the dogs out. Hubby came from the bathroom

Hubby made breakfast eggs for the dogs.

 

I had a piece of manicotti that I had made last night for breakfast.

We made the bed with new sheets, but they are all DEEP POCKETS and don't fit. They are very baggy. I like tight sheets. Don't like getting tangled up in bottom fitted sheet.

KR called and talked to Hubby for quite a long time.

Then Hubby grilled t-bone steaks on the grille outside. Dogs went in and out with him.

 

Hubby made mozzarella, tomatoes, pizza sauce on bread and baked it. Quite good.

 

I cannot find smaller sheets online. They are all DEEP POCKETS. So I ordered some garter belts on Amazon for the sheets. See if that will fix the bagginess.

We watched Ian on TV.

I put away laundry. I put away clean dishes. I picked up dog poo outside. I put more water in the dog tank outside. Hubby put his windshield sunshade in the truck.

We watched TV all day.

 

Some neighbor came by at 3PM and dropped off a tool. that Casey had left in his UTV. He thanked Hubby for working on his vehicle. 

Then at 5PM, we rode our motorcycles up to the Sports Center and around. It was totally deserted. We rode to the Foothills Trailhead Parking. There were 6 high-end sports cars there with young kids. A couple kids in the back of a pickup were filming. We rode thru there and up to the water tower. Then we rode back home. Saw a garbage bag on the ground, but it was just grass trimmings. 

At home, we watched TV.

I went to bed at 10PM. Could not sleep because of the pain from my blisters on my heels. Hubby came to bed at 11PM. I finally fell asleep at 1AM.

6-17-2023

I woke up at 3:30AM and was sweating. I went potty, then staggered to the A/C to set it lower. Tater had been sleeping on top of me so that was probably why I was too hot again.

I slept on the sofa until morning. I was still exhausted when Hubby got up at 6AM to make breakfast eggs for the dogs. I got up and felt pretty good. No pain yet. 

I made the lattes. I made the bed. I put dirty laundry in the washer to get it started. 

 

I was so tired, so laid down on the sofa again for a nap. 

 

Hubby left at 8AM and returned by 9AM. He went down to the shop to meet Seth with Anytime Towing. 

 

We cleaned up and decided to go for a walk in Cedar City outside town. Found a trail that looked interesting so we packed up a lunch.

Stopped at Walmart so Hubby could run in and pick up a couple back packs. 

Drove the back way to Littlefield and got on the Interestate. About 1-2 mile back up on Interstate we avoided. 

 

Tater barked in St George because he wanted to stop at Doggy Daycare. 

Drove to Kolob Canyons Visitor Center and stopped for dog walk/pee and I asked Ranger about riding bikes thru the park. Hubby peed in the porta potty.

 

On the road again to turn off in Cedar City and we got fuel at Maverik. Some stupid woman driving an Idaho car parked in front of the fuel pump and went inside. When she came out, she almost walked in the front of our truck. Then wasted more minutes dicking around in her car before finally leaving. The Fuel pumps were VERY busy and nobody should abandon a car at a pump. Stupid People.

We drove in the mountains and missed the trail. Had to detour back. Saw a dead decomposing deer on the side of the road.

Finally found a nice walking trail at Webster Flats Road. Hiked about 40 minutes and 40 minutes. Dogs drank fresh spring water from the crick flowing thru.

We rested and turned around. Hubby gave me a Nitro pill. We had lunch. Saw a giant cave with a rock sticking out. 

 

SNOW ON THE VERY HIGH ALTITUDE WALK

 

 

On the way back, we encountered a cowboy on a horse standing very still. We moved over so he could pass. Tater pulled at the leash because he really wanted to meet the horse. 

We had to traverse over 3 downed trees. A field of bluebells. 

My feet started hurting. Had blisters on heels from stupid new shoes I walked with. I am throwing them out. I need well fitting hiking shoes.

Hubby peed again at truck. Gave water to the dogs.

 

Loaded dogs in truck. Drove thru Cedar Breaks National Park. Had to stop at Ranger Station where we were trying to find the National Park Pass, but Hubby had not transferred everything to the new truck. He finally remembered a card in his billfold. 

Drove thru park. Stopped at viewpoints. Amazing red/white/yellow chasms.

Drove thru Brian Head. Looked at all ski areas & condos.

Drove to Parowan and walked the dogs at the grassy city park. Hubby had to potty again. Just missed the Farmer's market even that looked like it was huge. 

 

Both dogs got in the back seat of the Dually and slept all the way home.

Drove to Littlefield where Hubby got Lottery tickets and Krispy Kreme donuts.

Stopped at Smith's in Mesquite where I went inside and got bread, manicotti shells, spaghetti sauce.

We drove home. Unloaded dogs who drank a LOT of water. 

Put everything away.

 

Dogs went outside to potty. They slept on the sofa all night long. 

Rested for about 1 hour then at 7PM, I made Manicotti shells and baked them for 1 hour. It was too late to eat them, so we put them away.

Up at 4AM and was hot/sweaty. I went out to the sofa to sleep.

 

I got up at 6AM. Still feeling pretty good. 

Went to get dressed. Made the bed.

Out to the kitchen to make lattes. 

Hubby had already made breakfast for the dogs & fed them. They were sleeping on the sofa in a breakfast coma.

Then I transferred $ from Quickbooks to Bank.

Hubby watched Automotive shows on TV.

I did bookwork.

I picked up dog poo. It was raining slightly. I brought my chicken in from outside and Hubby will take it to work to weld another post on it so that the chicken will not fall down anymore.

Hubby left at 8:30AM. It was odd because his tailgate had been raised and his mirrors were pushed in. Had somebody been here last night touching his truck?

Hubby stopped to talk with neighbor, Dave. 

I went inside and started making sausages for breakfast.

 

Then I watched TV for a while.

 

I started doing books at 10AM. Hubby set up another Vendor account.

 

Shut the doors and turned on A/C at 1PM. It was now sunny and humid outside.

I got done with bookwork at 1:45PM.

I put away clean laundry and clean dishes.

 

Hubby got home at 4PM.

THURSDAY / PAIN HAS ABATED / SEVERE RAIN STORM

THURSDAY

6-15-2023 

I was up at 4AM and went out to the sofa to sleep. No sleep, just restless. Hot sweaty, then cold. I turned the A/C down lower to get some air movement. 

Then I was up at 5:45AM. Went to the bedroom. Petted the dogs. Rubbed Hubby for a while. Then I got dressed and went to the kitchen to make lattes. 

Hubby let the dogs out for potty. Then he made breakfast eggs for them & fed the dogs. 

I transferred $ from Quickbooks to Bank. Then I did Payroll.

 

I AM FEELING BETTER TODAY. THE TORADOL SEEMED TO HAVE HELPED FOR A WHILE. NO MORE PAIN BEHIND EYES.

I went outside to pick up dog poo. It briefly rained as we heard pitter/patter ont he pergola outside. Only made it more humid. WHY AREN'T THE NEIGHBORS USING THEIR WONDERFUL SWIMMING POOL & HOT TUB? What a waste. 

 

I dream of the day where Hubby does not go into work. Where he can actually RETIRE and sit around with me. Swimming/Floating in a pool we own all day. 

 

But then I took dirty clothes to the washer and started it. Hubby filled laundry soap for me. Hubby cleaned cat litter. Then he took it all out to the garbage. 

 

Put the clean cover over Tater's dog bed from the shop. He slept on it for a few minutes down the hallway.

We sat down and watched TV for a while. Roadkill in Alaska-crashing cars off a cliff. 

 

Hubby & Tater left at 8:35AM. I carried Tater's dog bed out to the truck.

 

Then I did bookwork. Made another latte. 

 

I watched TV for a while. Hubby called and wanted to get out of town this weekend, but I researched everything yesterday and it is all booked. Years in advance. We need a camper.

 

Received email from HOA that they approved our stucco wall. Yippee!

 

I did bookwork. I watched TV. I put away clean clothes. I put away clean laundry.

 

Wilson and I went for a walk again. Picked up mail and walked down to the park. Wilson pooped again and I picked it up. Some weird walking woman came out of the backyard of a house that backs up to the park. She surprised Wilson. I said Hi, but she just walked past us. Odd person.

At home, we opened the mail. Hubby got his new shorts from Old Navy. I got "Panther" & "Navy Blue" colors. Panther is a very dark grey. 

I texted all day with Rugged Mountain Custom RV to determine options on the new RV we are ordering.

Hubby & Tater came home at 4PM.

About 4:50PM, a storm started; dark clouds moved in over the flat top behind us. There was lightning, storms over the mountains, dark clouds. Sheets of rain with lots of wind. Smelled like Petrichor. Rained until 7:44PM.

We watched TV. The Rifleman, My Name is Earl.

 

I got the shower ready at 9PM. Started running hot water, turned on the heater in the bathroom, put out towels. Hubby gave Tater a shower. I dried Tater off when he was done.

 

We went to bed at 11PM.

 

Cross my fingers! I am still feeling no pain.

WEDNESDAY / WILSON POOP / TATER EARS

WEDNESDAY

6-14-2023

 

 

I woke at 3:30AM and got out of bed to potty. I was sweating. So I went to the sofa to sleep. Took my pillow and drank lots of water. 

 

Took a while to sleep again. I kept thinking about things...bad things. The sun was too bright, I was hot, then I was cold. Awful hours...

 

I finally woke up at 7AM and Hubby was sitting on the other sofa. Tater was sleeping beside him. Hubby said he had fed the dogs and they were settling down for after-breakfast nap.

Hubby cleaned up Wilson's butt after I found that he had dropped a turd on the rug in the living room and looked at his butt. It was covered in poop. Hubby took him outside to wash him on the patio.

I got up and dressed. I made the bed. Then I went to the kitchen to make lattes. I made Nanogreens for me.

I got filled the dog food, filled all the water with fresh for the animals. 

I put the dirty laundry and started the washer. 

Hubby watched Roadkill on TV. 

 

I took antibiotic pill because my face had broken out in yellow zits everywhere. The problem infection zit under my lip won't go away even after many days and applications of sudocreme which usually heals things up pretty fast.

I put Tater's collar on him.

Then I put clean laundry in dryer.

Hubby got his shoes & socks put on. Then he had to clean Tater's ears and put ointment into them. 

They left at 8:45AM. 

I cleaned cat litter because Hubby forgot to do it. Then I picked up dog poo outside and took it all to the garbage can. 

 

I cleaned up the kitchen counters and put dirty dishes in dishwasher to start it.  

I did bookwork until 10:15AM. 

 

I put away clean clothes. Robert was sleeping on the dryer. He got up when I came in the laundry room.

I watched TV for a while.

Put away clean dishes. Put away clean clothes.

At 1:30PM, Wilson and I walked down to the Mail box and retrieved our mail. Mostly junk and some bed sheets I ordered.

We walked to the park where Wilson pooped. I cleaned it up. We saw some quail walking thru the open space area. 

We walked back home. 

I watched TV. Then got ready for IV Infusions. Hubby got home with Tater at 2:45PM. He quickly had some food and then we left. 

We had to sit separately at first. The loud-mouthed, drunk woman was there and Hubby talked to her for a while.

TUESDAY / JUNE 13 / INTERNAL TREMORS

Up at 6:15AM. Hubby was already up and put the dogs out for potty.

 

I got up and dressed. Went to the kitchen to make latte for Hubby. 

 

No $ to transfer to Bank. 

 

Then we looked at hot tubs online. Decided to try to get a cedar hot tub. 

 

Hubby and I measured for tub out in patio.

 

Amended the Architectural app to have a 1/2 stucco wall and then install sun shades for privacy.

 

Submitted that to SC. 

 

Hubby and Tater left at 8:39AM. I rode down in the truck and dropped off the mail. Then I walked back home. 

 

 

SAGE LIKES TO SLEEP ON THE FLOOR BY THE WINDOW IN OUR ROOM

 

I am having internal tremors now throughout my body. A new Lupus symptom. 

 

I contacted Starbucks (Pepsi-Co)rep and she talked to her. Seems fishy. Think we might just get an attorney.

 

I watched TV. 

Hubby & Tater got home at 3:30PM. 

Hubby made dinner. He put chicken on the grille.

We watched TV.

Kerry texted me about ceramic coat and I talked to her for a while.

I was really hurting and took a hot bath at 9:30PM. with my new Bath Bomb that I ordered from Amazon. Hubby hated the smell. 

 

Hubby put the comforter on the bed and played red light with Sage in the bedroom.

Went to bed at 10PM. Dogs snuggled with me. Hubby came to bed at 11PM.
