PICK UP DETAILED DUALLY / RETURN MIKE'S JEEP / PICK UP LIFT & ENGINE IN ST GEORGE

WEDNESDAY

8-11-2021 

Up at 6AM. Made the bed. 

Dressed. Went to the kitchen to make lattes & Nanogreens.

Hubby fed the dogs their egg breakfast. He let them out for potty.

We worked on bookwork. Hubby sat and watched morning News. 

Hubby called the Landlord's assistant in SC so that she could give us info on the deposits made to their checking account so we can transfer the rent directly.

We left the dogs at home. We drove Mike's Jeep over to the Detail guy on Hardy Way. Picked up the truck. It is OK. Not worth the $ we had to pay for detailing.

Then we drove back home. 

I checked on the dogs. 

Hubby drove Mike's Jeep and I drove the Subaru to the shop. Dropped off the Subaru. Talked to Casey & Chris.

 

Stopped at Walmart to get the Jeep washed and filled it with fuel before returning to Mike.

 

Drove BACK home. At home, Hubby picked up his Dually and I drove the Jeep to Mike's house. Hubby forgot where he lived and drove down the wrong street. We had to turn around and go the opposite way.

Mike arrived home minutes later to put his Jeep in the garage. Mike's water line broke yesterday and there is a HUGE hole in his front yard.

At home, Hubby put accessories back in the Dually while I was inside and let the dogs out for potty.

 

Hubby took the truck down to the shop and picked up the trailer at Jose's lot. 

 

He came back and we got the dogs loaded into the newly cleaned truck. 

 

Drove to St George. I called on the way and asked if Doggy Day Care was available. They told us to bring them. So we detoured and dropped them off. Forgot leashes in the truck and had to borrow a couple to take the dogs inside. I went inside and dropped off Wilson. Some lady was picking up her dog and took a LONG time. We had to wait outside because the dog had pissed itself and was scared. I did not think it was a good idea to take Tater inside. So Hubby let Tater potty and then they stood in the shade until we could take dogs inside to Day Care.

 

Then we drove to Harbor Freight. I waited outside while Hubby went inside to buy leashes and grinding wheels for shop.

 

 

We drove to pick up the engine for the Harley truck at Southwest Auto. Very simple. Pulled in and they loaded it for us!

 

 

 

 

Drove back to get the new vehicle lift. It took a long time to load it.

Then we drove to Walmart in Hurricane, but Hubby did not want to leave the truck alone. I did not want to shop by myself.

 

Instead, we drove back to Costco to get fuel. It was too crowded. We drove thru the parking lot.

 

Tried to get gas around the corner at the Fuel Company on Deseret Drive, but they were permanently closed.

 

So we went to pick up the dogs.I went inside to get dogs while Hubby waited in the truck. I had to bring Tater out first and loaded him. Hubby gave them water. Then I went to get Wilson-he was all wiggly and excited to see us. Wilson drank A LOT OF WATER. 

We stopped for fuel at the gas station on the way out of town.

Both of the dogs napped on the drive thru the Gorge. 

Hubby stopped to get lottery tickets at the Flying J in Littlefield.

In Mesquite, we stopped at the shop to lock the door on the new side. Casey and Chris were still there. Hubby and I left after 15 minutes and drove home.

At home, unloaded dogs. 

I took some marijuana. We had dinner. 

 

Hubby washed the dogs on the back patio.

Watched TV.

I went to bed at 9PM after a hot bath.
