Awake at 5AM. I went back to sleep.

Hubby was up and fed the dogs. Let them outside for potty.

I got up at 7:45AM. Made the bed. Started the Roomba in our bedroom.

I went out to the kitchen to make lattes & Nanogreens. Hubby was napping on the sofa.

I watered the plants in the back yard. I picked up dog poo. I put water in the bird bath.

Hubby vacuumed at 1PM. He changed cat litter. 

 

I put all the garbage in bag and put it in the garbage can outside.

 

We watched Cold Case on TV. Hubby surfed the internet on his iPad. 

TIRED DOGS

At 5PM, we drove to the Community Center to swim, but Hubby forgot his billfold. We had to drive back home. 

Got to the pool and swam until 6:30PM. Talked with Faye, Janet, Carmen, Dave, Irl.

At home we immediately changed clothes and drove the dogs to the Dog Park. There was a Boxer and a mix-Collie. The Collie's owner kept throwing a ball and petting Tater. Wilson ran around the park wildly. Tater kept barking at the Boxer while they were running and playing. The owner of the Boxer, an older gentleman - kept putting water out for the dogs. 

Everyone finally left and we noticed that Tater was over-heated. He was lying in the water bowls. We had to douse him with water to get him to cool off. He did not like that very much. 

Got the dogs in the A/C truck and drove home.

 

Wilson was so tired that he could barely get over the garage threshhold into the house. He was exhausted from the heat.

 

At home, we made Tater go down on the floor and put a fan in front of him. He turned over so the fan was blowing on his belly. He stayed that way for 30 minutes. Then he sat by Hubby on the sofa for the rest of the night. He was exhausted.

 

Hubby started to snore about 9:30PM.

 

Went to bed at 10PM. I put away clothes. Turned off everything. Locked doors.
