MEMORIAL DAY 2021 / BREAKFAST AT GOLDEN WEST

MONDAY

MEMORIAL DAY

5-31-2021

 

 Awake at 6:30AM. Stayed in bed until 7AM. I heard Hubby making egg breakfast for the dogs.

He fed them. I took sheets off bed. Going to put new sheets on bed that we bought yesterday from Walmart. 

The new sheets are WAY TOO BIG. Plus, not a lot of cotton. 800 count instead of 600 count. They are too silky-like.

I made latte & Nanogreens.

We left the dogs in the house. 

Hubby took me out for breakfast. We drove to Casa Blanca and parked. Then inside, there was a LONG LINE. So we left.

Drove to Golden West and ate there. I don't like it there. Confined back room makes me feel trapped. Food is not great. 

We had pancakes, eggs, hashbrowns (Me) Eggs Benedict (Hubby). Coffee was absolutely horrible.

Hubby paid and got the truck. I went to the potty.

Then we drove out to Littlefield to turn in our winning $3 ticket and buy more lottery tickets.

Drove back and looked at other Mesquite neighborhoods.

We drove home. Took pictures of the Geese Family that were walking down by the Waterfalls.

At home, we gave treats to the dogs who had been quietly sleeping.

Let the dogs out for potty.

Hubby left and took his Can-Am to wash at the Car Wash by Walmart.

I put laundry in and started it. Then put away clean clothes. Put away clean dishes. 

Picked up dog poo. Put water out for the birds in the bird bath.

I watched Murdoch Mysteries. 

Hubby was back by 12:30PM.

We took the dogs down to the park and let them run around.

When we got back, Tater fell exhausted onto the floor to relax.

We watched TV.

Went swimming at 5PM. Left the dogs at home.

At 6:30PM, we were back. Let dogs out for potty.

Watched TV.

Went to bed at 10PM.

MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND

 

 

 

Up at 6:30AM as the Rattler cat was yelling and wanted to be fed tuna.

Hubby got up and started breakfast for dogs and gave tuna to the cats. 

I started lattes & Nanogreens. Dogs went out to potty. 

I went outside and filled bird bath water, watered plants, picked up dog poo.

It was already 80 degrees outside at 7AM. 

Hubby fed the dogs. He cleaned up cat litter. He made the bed.

We sat on the sofa and watched morning news for a while.

We decided to eat breakfast out tomorrow; Hubby made breakfast eggs for himself.

Hubby cut Wilson's butt hair. We need to get him to a professional groomer for a full shave.

Then I vacuumed out the patio and the rug. 

I filed documents in the garage. I shredded old business cards. 

Filled out paperwork in Quickbooks. Ordered stuff from Rough Country.

Hubby made me a peanut butter sandwich.

UTV RIDE TO LITTLE FINLAND / ELKS CLUB INTERVIEW

SATURDAY

5-29-2021

 

 

 

Hubby was up early and getting ready for the UTV ride. I was still sleeping. 

 

He made breakfast eggs for the dogs & fed them. Put tuna out for the cats. 

 

Hubby cleaned cat litter. 

 

Hubby packed lunch - turkey sandwiches. Then he put water and beer in a soft-sided cooler. 

I got up briefly to potty and make a latte for Hubby. Then I went back to bed.

 

He and Tater left at 6:45AM.  

Wilson stayed at home with me. I got up at 9:30AM. Was still so tired. Could not function. 

I made latte & Nanogreens.

Wilson and I watched TV.

I picked up dog poo. Put water in bird bath. Watered plants.

Did laundry. Put away clean laundry. Started dishwasher. 

Hubby and Tater got back at 3:30PM. They were both covered in dust. I made Hubby take off his clothes and immediately wash them.

Took Tater out to the back yard and washed him. Washed Wilson. 

Both dogs took a nap on the sofa. 

Hubby ate lunch, then got a call from customer that had called him while on the ride. He went to meet him at the shop to drop off the customer's UTV. Hubby dropped off the trailer at Jose's yard.

He came back at 4:45PM.

Then a guy from the Elks Club called to interview him about potential membership.

We went swimming at 5PM. Left the dogs at home inside the house. 

Dave & Carmen were there with Mike. Then Irl & Kathy came.

Left swimming at 6:30PM. One of the women was wearing heavy perfume. 

We drove to Deep Roots Harvest dispensary and Hubby got marijuana. I had to sit in the truck as I forgot my ID.

Then we went home. Let the dogs out for potty.

Watched Murdoch Mysteries. I went to bed at 9:30PM.

 

FRIDAY AND NO BURGERS AT ELKS CLUB FOR ME

FRIDAY

5-28-2021

 

 

 

Up at 7:30AM. I made the bed.

 

Hubby made breakfast eggs for dogs.

 

I put water outside for the bird bath. I watered plants. I cleaned up breakfast dishes and put them in dishwasher. I started laundry.

 

Hubby left at 8:30AM and took Tater with him to the shop. 

Hubby and Mike with Connie went to the ELKS Club for lunch at Noon. They did not invite me. Hubby sent me pictures with Dave & Carmen there, too. Connie paid for lunch for the guys as she is a Member and took the guys with her as guests.

 

Rough Country box arrived via UPS and I took it down to the shop iwth me. 

 

I went down to the shop at 2PM so Hubby could take me to the gas station and fill the FMF with fuel. Then I drove him back to the shop.

 

 I went to get my nails done at GS Nails. 

I came back to the shop at 3:30PM and picked up Tater. Took him home with me. Let both dogs out for potty. 

Stayed at home and did bookwork. Put away more clean clothes.

 

Watched TV.

 

Hubby got home at 4PM.

 

Went swimming. Left the dogs at home. 

 

Came back at 6:30PM.

 

Hubby washed the dogs

 

WASHED DOGS. TATER TIRED.

 

 

Watched TV.

I was unable to sleep without taking a sleeping aide, so I got up at 11:45PM with SEVERE CRAMPING from Endo. I took a hot bath and had 2 Benadryl and several aspirins. I laid down on the sofa to rest and fell asleep. Awake some time later and went to bed again.
