NEW YEARS EVE 2020

12-31-2020

 

Hubby woke me up at 6AM with a Hostess cupcake and candle with a balloon. Tater barked at him because he had been asleep. Which freaked me out!

 

Hubby watched The Grand Tour this morning. Then we watched News. 

Hubby messed up my egg, so I had no breakfast. He peeled and orange for me and gave me the BIG D. Banana for scale...

I made lattes & Nanogreens.

Put fresh warm water out for the birds.

There is a big storm coming, dumping snow in the mountains.

SNOW IN MOUNTAINS, RAIN IN MESQUITE

KR and Spencer called and we talked for over 1.5 hours.

I opened my presents. 

GIFTS, CARDS, BALLOONS, CAKE & CANDLE

RAZORS, GLUE, PAIN RELIEF, CARDS

Then we put harnesses on dogs, let them out to potty, loaded them in the truck. It was raining. I asked Hubby if he unlocked the door. He said yes. He had NOT unlocked the door. I accidentally stepped on poor Wilson and then finally Hubby unlocked the door.

 

I ordered a FREE birthday latte from Starbucks, but forgot to add flavor. Hubby was upset. Had to wait in line with 6 cars to get it. 

 

We drove to Walgreens to get his Meds. 

Then we got on the Interstate again and drove to Walmart. Walked the dogs for potty. Hubby called Pat to talk about reclamation equipment for Coffee buildings. Then we put dogs in truck and shopped at Walmart 

Got milk, oranges, Hubby got WD30, more Clorox wipes, laundry rinse & detergent. 

 

Drove to Wendy's for burgers, chicken nuggets & french fries for dogs. Hubby ordered a sausage/pepperoni pizza at Flying J. We waited 10 minutes for it.

At home, we unloaded groceries. I made tea. We ate the pizza. 

 

Hubby got on the phone to fix his Health Insurance after having Ambetter cancel him and being tole he is eligible for Medicaid due to his Disability. They don't know anything.

I verified that my Ambetter payment was made. Got written verification.

Hubby watched Automotive shows. Sun was going down at 4PM. It was getting cold again.

Spencer was sent his "Quarantine" Card game. I told them that USPS had delivered it.

Hubby and I watched some of The Expanse again. 

We watched the NY Times Square Ball drop at 10PM. Celebrated the New Year. I went to bed at 10:30PM. Hubby stayed up for a while.

WEDNESDAY

12-30-2020 

Up at 6:30AM. Hubby is already in the kitchen making eggs. 

He helps me get down the other comforter so we can change them out on our bed. He also gets down my embroidery thread for me and the humidifiers. It is SO DRY in the house. 

I made lattes & Nanogreens.

Hubby said it is fairly complicated to do a whole-house humidifier because there is so much calcium in the water in Nevada. Better just to filter the little ones.

Hubby watched Automotive show while he ate breakfast. 

I went out to give fresh water to birds. Picked up dog poo. Broke my fingernail.

Hubby did the cat litter. 

 

I wrapped up KR's snowflake from 2020 that we did not send her.

 

I went down to the mailbox at NOON and got mail. Dropped off the plastic container from Carmen that had the cake in it. Measured Dave's grandfather clock, so Hubby can install our clock on the Slab Clock he made. 

Hubby hung up the "Nevada" wood that he cut out. He put up my "mini mountains" in my office. He aligned the "HUGE mountains" for the dining room wall.

I helped Hubby put up the mountains on the wall. We just need to paint them now.

Hubby put together more canning ring Xmas trees for me.

Dogs were inside and outside all day.

Dave came over at 2PM to take Hubby so they could jump Dave's RV. 

 

I did some bookwork on Quickbooks.

Hubby was back by 4PM. It was dark. He ate leftover Panda Express.

We sat on the sofa and listened to music. I took Nyquil for a sore throat.

TUESDAY

12-29-2020

 

 

 

Awake at 6AM. It was still dark outside. I hauled Wilson up on the bed and we slept for another few minutes. Then I got up and I made the bed. 

Hubby was already up and on the sofa, reading his iPad.

Hubby made eggs for the dogs and fed them.

I made lattes & Nanogreens. Made baked cheese eggs for myself.

 

We watched the morning news on TV.

 

I picked up dog poo and took it out to the garbage can which Hubby had put out last night.

Ordered tickets for King Of The Hammers 2021 for Hubby and Joe H. Hubby called Joe H to confirm his birthday because they have to be Covid-19 Tested and get a negative test back before they can go this year.

 

I had to print off paperwork for Hubby to get his California OHV sticker. Put it in an envelope with payment and Hubby mailed it. He brought back junk mail from the post box.

 

Hubby changed the cat litter. 

 

Hubby left at 10:30AM for the shop.

I worked on more scrabble tiles for "winter". 

 

 

 

Then I glued the Xmas tree fabric wrapped dowels onto the wood. Still need a star and the tree base.

I watched Endeavour on Prime for a while. 

Hubby got home at 5:30PM with dinner from Panda Express. I wrote an email to Panda online because we can't use our gift cards to purchase food.

Hubby lifted Tater when he got home. Tater was happy to see Daddy.

We listened to music on the sofa until 8PM.

I took a hot bath and the dogs went to bed with me at 10PM. Hubby went to bed at 11PM.

12-28-2020

 

 

Up at 6:30AM and went back to sleep until 7AM. Got up to potty. Tater was still in bed with me, but Hubby had already gone into the living room. 

 

Hubby let the dogs out to potty. Tater just laid down on the dog bed and would not potty.

 

I got up and made lattes & Nanogreens. Warmed up baked cheese eggs for myself. Hubby made eggs for the dogs & fed them. 

 

We had to change the sheets on the bed. Then started the Roomba in our bedroom.

 

Hubby changed the cat litter. I picked up dog poo and took warm water out for the birds. Lots of birds today.

 

Hubby took a shower and washed Tater. I toweled him dry.

 

Then Hubby washed Wilson. I had to towel him dry and take him outside to blow dry. Hubby cleaned up the hair afterwards with the blower.

 

Hubby called Carpet Cleaning in Idaho. Told them to make appointment with Renters to clean cat smell in carpet to sell house. Realtor texted back that carpet needs to be cleaned and toilet needs to be fixed in Blue Shop. Mike is fixing toilet that froze and broke.

 

Storm coming. Lots of clouds over the mountains and wind today.

Got Fairy Lights from Amazon today. I strung them thru the Snowman that I made. Looks great. Have to sell on Etsy.

Hubby got phone call from Ralph at the Tire Center.  

I took down Xmas decorations, Hubby took down wrapped boxes on kitchen cabinets. 

 

Hubby cleaned up boxes in the garage. He took Tater out with him. It got really cold. Had to turn on the heat & fireplace.

 

Rattler ate one of the Fairy lights. Bad cat.

 

Made lunch. I had crab cheese. Nanogreens.

 

Hubby watched Automotive shows. He sat on the sofa and watched his iPad.

 

I did bookwork from 9AM to 3PM.

 

Cleaned up Xmas stuff and put most of it away.

 

I found a whole box of Ornaments and KR's snowflake that we should have sent her for this year. I putt he ornaments on the tree even though Hubby whined that Xmas was over. I wanted to see the pretty ornaments. Each one of them means something to us both.

 

Took lots of Cold Calm. Both of us were still sneezing and Hubby was coughing. 

 

I worked on my Scrabble tiles for Valentine's Day.

 

Had a hot bath because I was hurting so badly. 

 

Went to bed at 10PM. Hubby finally came to bed at 11PM.

12-27-2020

 

 

Up at 7:30AM. Hubby was still sleeping in bed. He had taken a Benadryl to sleep last night because he was sniffling. 

 

Let the dogs outside. I made the bed. 

 

Hubby went to make breakfast eggs for the dogs and feed them.

 

I made lattes & nanogreens. I fed the cats with the new can opener for the tuna can. I also gave them shredded cheese.

 

It is SO cold outside. Feels wet. It starts snowing in the mountains. 

 

I put out warm water for birds. Picked up dog poo.

 

I am SNEEZING, SNUFFLY, EYES WATERING, NECK HURTS, SPITTING UP GREEN. Take a Benadryl.

 

Later, a couple fat grey doves came and used the water, sat on the fence.

 

Hubby watched Automotive shows all day. 

 

I did laundry. I put away dirty dishes and started dishwasher. 

 

I ordered Quarantine Card game for Spencer's birthday. 

 

I ordered new plates and bowls from IKEA. The order failed twice thru IKEA. So I will have to try later.

 

 

 

I had to update Starbucks and ask where my points were AGAIN. Then I submitted new points.

 

Put away laundry.

Started Roomba and cleaned it out.

 

Still no signed bill for the Pandemic Stimulus. Unemployment is running out. People are being evicted. No stimulus checks to catch up on bills or rent. What a fat fucking jackass oaf.

I worked on entering receipts into Quickbooks from 11AM-3PM. Got most of them done. 

At 3PM, we bundled the dogs into their harnesses and loaded them into the Dually. Turned on the lights outside.

Drove to the dog park and they played for quite a while. A nice lady came over with her puppies, but they were too young to play. She said she had pitbulls when her kids were young and they don't settle down until they are 4 years old. Tater met Kane, another pitbull and they ran around for 20 minutes. I kept Wilson on a leash. Then Sophie, a bigger dog came in and played, too.

We finally left the dog park and drove to Desert Springs to cash in our scratch-off winnings and get more lottery tickets. 

Drove back to Mesquite and picked up our Walmart order.

Then we drove to Irl & Kathy's to drop off some wine and the ornaments I made for Kathy.

At home, we unloaded the dogs, let them potty. Got them fresh water. Hubby unloaded groceries and put them away.

I worked on entering more receipts into Quickbooks until 7PM and then I was tired.

Put away clean laundry. Put away clean dishes. 

Finally got news at 7PM that the fat freak finally signed the Stimulus Bill. Fucking asshole. Go away. Go to jail. Fuck.

12-26-2020

 

 

Up at 6AM. I made the bed. 

 

Hubby went to let the dogs outside and he made breakfast eggs for them. 

 

Washed the comforter because it is a mess from Tater's dirty feet. Wilson sleeps on the dog bed, so he does not make it dirty.

 

I made lattes & Nanogreens. 

 

We watched morning news. I left the Xmas lights on outside all day.

Then Hubby dumped cat litter. Hubby picked up dog poo. I poured warm water for the birds. There was a sheet of ice in the bird bath. 

 

We watched The Expanse for the rest of the day. Hubby ate. I gave up eating. 

 

Wilson sat beside me on the sofa. He was sleeping on his back.

Up at 6:30, had to pee. Hubby was up to let the dogs outside for potty.

 

I made the bed. Hubby went out to make breakfast for dogs. 

 

I started the Roomba.

 

Hubby baked cinnamon rolls for Xmas breakfast. He warmed up sausage for me.

 

 

 

I made lattes & Nanogreens.

 

Hubby worked on the Crockpot French Onion Soup. In the afternoon, it was ready and we had to bake it in pans instead of bowls. Forgot to buy oven-safe bowls.

Hubby started all the food that we had going today.

 

KR was asking about presents, so I went to the computer and found everything that we had sent to them.

 

 

Dog scarves, Dog bully sticks, dog toys. Snowflake Tool ornament for Spencer, Swarovski Snowflake for KR, $100 Taco Bell gift certificate for Spencer, $100 Olive Garden gift certificate for KR and Unstable Unicorn card game.

I was sneezing and my eyes were runny and I felt awful. Hubby gave me a Beyadryl and I slept from 2-4:30PM. Hubby looked at stuff online with his iPad.

Hubby started all the food that we had going today. He forgot to make bacon roll ups and did not start them until I woke up. The stuffing was runny and the bacon was greasy. Had to throw them away.

 

Had cheese tray from Costco that tasted awful. 

 

Crab cheese dip that I made. Ribs from Smith's that were awful. 

 

Hubby opened the Danielle's chocolate popcorn. Hubby ate the peanut brittle. 

 

We ate some of the food.

Hubby cleaned up all the food and put it in storage containers for the fridge. 

I put dirty dishes away and started dishwasher. Went to bed early at 10PM.

12-24-2020 

 

 

Up at 6:30AM. Hubby got up to make breakfast eggs for dogs. I made the bed.

Hubby let the dogs outside. 

Then I filled a water bottle with hot water for the bird bath.

I made lattes & Nanogreens.

Hubby warmed up sausage for me.

I put away clean dishes and put dirty ones in dishwasher.

Hubby helped me glue the scrabble tiles for my Xmas tree.

Hubby left at 8:30AM with 2 burritos and his latte. He went to do an oil change on Oscar's UTV. Then Hubby went down to the shop.

I worked on looking at stuff from Etsy for Spencer's birthday.

I sewed some Xmas trees from fabric.

Watched Endeavour on Prime.

Hubby got home at 2:30PM. Hubby had a snack and changed into his "gun Xmas tree" sweatshirt. We let the dogs out for one last potty. Put their harnesses on. Loaded them into Dually.

 

Cats were being cute on the dining room table. Judgmental.

Hubby drove me down to GS Nails where I got my nails done. Left a $60 tip for Andy and his mom.

We went to the park and walked the dogs. Both of them POOPED and I only had one bag in the truck. Side-hilled up the hill to find the poop. 

Drove to Smith's to get Lloyd's BBQ because I wanted BBQ. Sounded good. 

We got groceries. Dogs stayed in the truck.

Loaded groceries in truck. Drove home. Noticed TWO ambulances at the Virgin Casino.

At Sun City, there were 3 bikers, biking at night with lights, riding fast up the sidewalk. They almost pulled out in front of us at the sidewalk. Idiots. 

Arrived at home 4:30PM and unloaded groceries. I walked down to get mail. Only the KEC billing. 

Dave, the neighbor, had brought over more tiny bottles of Fireball. He brought over Irl & Kathy's Xmas gift of a custom made book of our rides on the UTVs this year. It was very cute and thoughtful.

Hubby started making the French Onion Soup recipe in the slow-cooker.

Put Tater in his kennel with his muzzle on so he would not bark. We think the neighbors on both sides are gone to visit family during Xmas.

We went to look at Xmas lights from 6:20PM to 7PM.

Tater sat on the sofa watching the Xmas tree lights. 

Then we watched Muppets Christmas Carol. I made a hot latte. Hubby had a sandwich and soup.

At 9PM, Hubby did his leg compression boots while I wrapped presents at the dining room table.

Neighbor Dave, had brought over a gift from Kathy & Irl while we were gone. It was a printed book of our UTV adventures. Carmen also gave me a Friends Angel decor.

Up all night long to potty. My bladder is getting weak? or I am drinking more?

Robert slept with us all night long. Tater crowded out Hubby.

I was up at 7AM. Made the bed.

Hubby went to make breakfast eggs for dogs. Hubby put the dogs out for potty. He fed them

I made lattes & Nanogreens. 

 

Scratched off the Lottery Tickets. After spending $20, we won $2. Losers!

 

 Bank called at 8:30AM. Need to discuss other arrangements. We came up with some questions and emailed them. Bank guy called back to discuss.

I cleaned out Hubby's ears at 10:30AM. 

Hubby left at 11AM to go down to the shop.

I made crab salad.

 

I went to get the mail. The dogs did not bark. 

 

I washed and dried my hair.

I worked on my Xmas string art. Finished the Snowman.

 

 

I worked on more canning ring Xmas trees. Finished 3 more. 

Hubby got home at 5PM. Dogs were over-excited to see him. 

Hubby took a shower. Tater laid down on the cushion outside the shower. 

I had to spray Lysol cause it smelled awful in the bathroom after Hubby was done.

Hubby made chicken salad for me. 

We watched A Miracle on 34th Street with Natalie Wood on Amazon.

We watched ELF with Will Ferrell. 

Both of us were exhausted. I put dishes into dishwasher and started it. Hubby cleaned up his soup and biscuits that he made. We went to bed at 10PM.
