LAST MONTH OF AUGUST 2019

SATURDAY
AUGUST 31 2019

Got up at 7AM. Hubby had already been up with the dogs & outside on the patio since 5AM. I could hear the dogs barking at everybody walking past our back yard on the sidewalk.

I took the linens & comforter off the bed and took pictures of the sagging springs so that we can attempt to warranty the mattress from Ashley Home Furniture.

Then I remade the bed and turned the mattress around.

I went out to make lattes. Hubby had already made eggs and was feeding the dogs.

We had breakfast on the courtyard. Hubby had a burrito. I had Nanogreens and watermelon.

Then we put the breakfast dishes away. I started laundry. Went outside to pick up dog poo; 15 LOADS--They are eating too much.

I cleaned out my drawer in the bathroom; lots of hair. I also cleaned out Hubby's drawer. Lots of dirt & hair.

Hubby vacuumed up cat litter. He changed cat litter. I took it all outside to throw away in the garbage dumpster.

I steam-cleaned the tile floors. Sweaty work.

Hubby watched TV all day.

We went swimming at 5PM.

Came back home and played with dogs.

Watched TV.

Bed at 10PM.

FRIDAY THE 30TH

FRIDAY
AUGUST 30 2019

Got up at 6AM after Hubby let the dogs outside and they started barking.

I was still tired from taking the marijuana Gummy Bear last night. We only took 1/2 gummy each last night, but we were tired and relaxed.

Hubby made breakfast eggs for the dogs; I made lattes and had watermelon. We sat on the courtyard.

Then we cleaned up. I vacuumed up cat litter.

Hubby left at 9AM to go down to his shop so that he can change oil on his Dually.

I stayed home. Put dishes away. Put clean clothes away. Did another load of laundry.

Picked up dog poo.Took garbage out to dumpster.

Soaked my feet. Put my cream on my feet.

Went to Watercolor with Kerry at 2PM.

We watched a program that she had purchased for watercolor class.

Kerry forgot that she had Physical Therapy at 3PM, so I had to leave.

I came home and rested with Hubby.

We went swimming at 6PM.

Swam until the sun went down at 7PM.

Came back home.

I had Nanogreens for dinner.

We watched the last 2 episodes of MindHunter. 

Went to bed at 11PM.

HAPPY 38TH ANNIVERSARY

AUGUST 29 2019

38 YEARS AGO WE GOT MARRIED!

Woke up at 6AM this morning when the dogs jumped off the bed and Hubby let them out for potty.

Hubby brought back Robert cat under one arm, and holding a cupcake with a candle in it; singing Happy Birthday song for Robert. Robert is now 1 year old!

I got up and made lattes. Wish Hubby a Happy Anniversary with a kiss.

We sat on the courtyard to have breakfast. We both just had watermelon. Have to watch what we eat today because we are eating out tonight for our ANNIVERSARY.

Hubby's brother called to talk for over 1 hour. Hubby had wished sister-in-law a Happy Birthday, also.

I put away clean clothes, put away breakfast dishes & started dishwasher, washed the icky out of Wilson's eye. Wilson's other eye is infected.

We went to get CBD oil and Gummies at Deep Roots Harvest. Hubby forgot to bring CASH so we had to get $ out of the ATM. Then a nice girl named Shelbie helped us.

Drove to Walgreens to pick up calm pills & some Godiva chocolates. Walgreens is doing construction work on their awnings.

Then we stopped at Walmart to get groceries. Lots of people there. Must be snow-birds coming back!

Drove home and unloaded groceries. Gave popcorn chicken treats to the dogs.

John, our neighbor, came over with an extra bag of Apples from Costco.

Hubby then got busy cutting up watermelon & apples in the kitchen.

Hubby watched Automotive shows on TV while I soaked my feet.

We got changed and ready to go eat at 5:45pm.

At 6:00PM, we were getting seated at Gregory's in the Eureka Casino for our Anniversary dinner.

We both had Surf & Turf; Lobster & Filet, salad, vegetables, scalloped potatoes. Drawn butter for the Lobster. Melissa served us, while Ivan assisted.

Had dessert. They painted "Happy Anniversary" on the plate for Hubby's dessert.

Then we drove home. Gave treats to dogs.

Watched Mindhunter again.

Took 1/2 of a marijuana Gummy Bear for rest. Hubby fell asleep on the sofa.

Put more drops into Wilson's eye.

Went to bed at 9:45PM.

HUBBY WORKS ON CAN AM AGAIN / WILSON GOES TO VET

AUGUST 28 2019
WEDNESDAY

I had taken a Benadryl last night, so could not wake up this morning.

Hubby got up with the dogs early and was out on the patio with them. I had to get up and let Wilson out; then the next thing I knew-Hubby had brought fresh, warm cinnamon rolls in the bedroom to wake me up.

I finally woke up at 7AM. Really groggy. My whole body hurts like I was beaten up.

I made lattes. Warmed up some sausage for myself. Made my Nano-greens.

I started laundry, put away dirty dishes, made the bed.

Dogs slept on the sofa, Hubby went out to the garage to pack the UTV bearings and put on the tires with the new wheels.

I sat in the office, updating my blog and uploading fonts. I did briefly go out and fill dog water & pick up their poo.

Wilson's eye seems better today.

10AM - No energy to do anything today.

Renters sent us another picture of visiting MOOSE.

Hubby ran down to the Flying J Tire shop to get the tires & wheels mounted.

I vacuumed.

Went down to get the mail; Hubby's shorts from Old Navy arrived.

There was a Box from Fed Ex at our door. It was the Nano-Leans they forgot to send me!

Hubby returned 20 minutes later. He is best friends with the guys at the Flying J Tire shop; they did not charge him anything.

I finished vacuuming.

Hubby finished working and took the Can Am for a test drive. He filled up at the gas station and came back.

Then I made pancakes for him again. He watched TV and then took a shower.

We took Wilson to the Vet at 4:30 for his EYE INFECTION. Doctor Brown prescribed Amoxicillin drops with Prednisone for his Conjunctivitis. Left Tater at home in the kennel. First time he has ever been left by himself. He did pretty good.

Got back home at 5PM and changed so we could go swimming.

I exercised on the Elliptical, Bike, and Leg Press. Hubby did not want to exercise because he worked all day.

Swam until 7PM. Left at the same time as Kirk. Kirk and Hubby were talking about doing Kirk's back yard by themselves because the two quotes Kirk got were $21,000 and $40,000. OMG.

We came home and I gave treats to the dogs.

Hubby made spaghetti with sauce for dinner.

We watched a couple shows of Season 2 of Mindhunter. 

Went to bed at 10PM.

COFFEE HOUSE MUSIC & CLEAN WINDOWS

Got up at 5:30AM. Hubby was already up and making breakfast for the dogs.

I got up and made lattes.

Hubby left at 6AM so he could go with John, our neighbor, to fly model planes out by Scenic.

I fed the dogs.

Then I cleaned up breakfast dishes and started the dishwasher. Cleaned the floor.

Vacuumed up cat litter.

Hubby had taken out the trash for this morning. So I just took out another bag and the dog poo to add to the trash.

Then at 7:00AM I went to get the BINGO tickets for next month.

I returned and finished cleaning house. Put laundry in the washer.

I put away clean laundry.

Hubby got home at 9AM.

We went to the Coffee House Music at the Pioneer Center at 10:30AM. We sat in the comfortable chairs near the windows and put our feet on a hassock. A couple guys were very rude and started talking loudly near us. I tried "shushing" them a couple times, but they were deaf. A rude guy shouted down the hallway. It was very difficult to enjoy the music this time.

Finally, we left at 11:30AM after the music was done. I had forgotten my water bottle and the rude guy came running out with it. Hubby thanked him. "I would not have known who you were without your 'colorful' shirt on!" Hubby was wearing his Hawaiian shirt.

We drove home. Hubby went to the house. I went to visit Dawn because she had texted me. I spent over two hours there, talking to her. She gave us a nice jug of Maple Syrup from Canada for looking after their house while they were gone to Canada.

I forgot to bring back the syrup when I returned home, so Dawn brought it over. She came inside and looked at our garage entry door because she wants to re-do theirs.

So Dawn left and Hubby hinted that he would like some pancakes to sample the syrup. So I made pancakes. He had already made something on the stove, so I had to clean up his mess. There was also a spilled mess on the floor that I had to clean.

I made Kodiak pancakes along with the syrup and gave him.

We played with the dogs for a while. It was very hot outside today. Only 35 percent humidity.

Hubby watched TV automotive shows.

We got ready to go swimming at 5PM.

Went to exercise/swim. Kirk was there to help Hubby again. I exercised on the Elliptical and Recumbent bike. I did 15 minutes on the Leg Press.

I went out to swim and waited for Hubby. He came out about 10 minutes later.

We swam with Kirk & Scott. Raylene did not want to come in the pool. She sat by the umbrella.

We finally left at 7PM.

Went home.

Had dinner.

It stank outside so we could not walk dogs.

My friend, Dee was telling that she got sprayed 3 times because she did not read the directions for the TUSHY bidet that they had installed. I told her that she needed BIDET for Dummies. They don't have one, so I created one for her...

Texted this picture to her and she laughed.

Went to bed at 9PM because both of us were exhausted. I took a Benadryl to help me sleep. Gave a Benadryl to Wilson because of his eye infection.

HUBBY WORKS ON CAN/AM & BINGO!

Got up at 6:30AM when the dogs tore into the room and jumped on the bed.

Hubby had been up with them since 3AM when he went outside. He said people were walking outside on the sidewalk at 3:30AM.

I made lattes & made the bed.

I suggested that we go get donuts at the new HOLE Bakery; Hubby made breakfast eggs for the dogs and then got dressed.

We took the dogs with us in the Dually.

Drove down town to Mesquite Boulevard.

We were disappointed to find they were BAKED donuts and not fried. Very doughy looking. Too much frosting. We purchased a glazed, chocolate, and a raspberry filled.

Drove to the Dog Park to let the puppies play. They were very reactive to some dog that was already there (that obviously walks behind our house every day?).

We took them to the other fenced area until the people left because the dogs chased after the little dogs & were barking.

Some nice lady with Sammy, a labradoodle was there and ran with our dogs for a while. They dogs got tired extra fast because it was sunny outside with no shade in the dog park. So we left after a few minutes.

Drove to Scenic to get Lottery Tickets, but Hubby forgot that they don't open until 10AM.

Dana was flying on the field, so we beeped at him as we drove past.

Then drove to Beaver Dam to get Lottery Tickets there. Hubby started talking to a guy was there, I took Wilson out to pee around the side. We gave the dogs water and then left.

Drove home. Let dogs out to play.

Hubby worked on the Can-Am in the garage; I put away laundry, Vacuumed house, picked up dog poo, soaked my feet, and put cream on my feet.

Hubby was done working at Noon then made himself a sandwich. Sat down on the sofa to watch his Automotive shows for a while.

L&M Welding called to let him know that his wheels were done.

We put the dogs in their kennel and then drove down to MACU, but they were too busy to notarize anything at their new branch.

Drove to L&M Welding to pick up the wheels that Hubby had powdercoated; they charged $75 which was quite a lot!

Hubby has vowed to have a powder coating in his new building.

Drove to his shop and picked up tools.

Went to Walmart to get cat litter & new shorts for Hubby.

Drove home.

Gave chicken nuggets to dogs.

I put away clean dishes. Gave dogs fresh water. Closed the spare bedroom door for the cats because not only did they ruin the carpet in there, they have also been chewing on the pulls for the mini blinds! They are RUINING EVERYTHING!

Hubby watched Automotive shows until 4:30 when we left to go for Bingo at the Pioneer Center.
 

Went to play Bingo. We got there first. Had to wait quite a while before the Pizza arrived. They purchased it thru Dominos because Pizza Hut is closed while they are in the process of moving.

Dee and John brought their own food because they said the pizza is too greasy.

My cards were totally COLD tonight. Kerry got pretty close on a green card, only 1 number away from winning. So I was preoccupied with that. She did not win.

I got THREE (3) bingo lines in a row on the Double Bingo and didn't even recognize it. I had to ask Hubby, "is this a bingo?" So they were yelling at me to yell BINGO and go up. I finally got up and went. I was in shock. George checked my bingo and he was amazed, too!

I won $75 from Shawn. She congratulated me.

Afterwards, Hubby wandered out to the pool to say "Hi" to everybody. We told them we won. Dave & Carmen, Scott & Raylene were in the pool.

Hubby and I went home. We watched TV.

Walked the dogs later.

Went to bed at 10PM.
