Got up and took a shower right away. Hubby had come to bed late. The street light had been shining thru the little holes in the mini blinds.
Cat stayed away all night, but Ben slept with us beside the bed. Wilson slept in the bed by hubby all night.
I need to get a step in order to enter the bed.
I then made lattes & eggs. Hubby woke up when Ben's tail banged against the mini blinds.
Hubby came out and finished the eggs for the dogs.
He fed the dogs.
We took the dogs for a walk. Both of them pooped! Wilson pooped on the sidewalk again. Yuck.
We came back and hubby watched Automotive shows for a while.
Then he put together my office chair & opened the plastic desk. I put the computer and set up my new printer on the desk.
Hubby put up the clock in our room. Then he put together the new park bench in the entryway.
He will have to weld a couple panels on to the security screen door in order to mount it on the stucco on the side of the front door. So that will be installed at a later date.
I ordered a Poop sign on Etsy. I ordered a self-inking address stamp on Etsy.
I ordered a trio of overlarge clothespins & 2 safety pins for decor in the laundry room.
Hubby watched automotive shows on Youtube on the TV.

SECURITY DOOR IN ST GEORGE
SATURDAY
9-29-2018
When I got up to potty this morning, my feet were burning. So I put on some cream. Of course, I got the cream on the floor. So I had to clean that up later when we got up.
At 7AM, we finally got up. Wilson had been trying to jump on the bed, but it is too tall.
Hubby went and got Ben's dog bed and put it in our room.
I took the dogs for a walk at 7AM. Hubby could not go as he had broken his orthotic boot. He had to repair it.
Wilson pooped on the sidewalk. Ben pooped by a tree. Some golf service guy was driving down the wrong side of the road. Rude people at the end of the road were walking their dogs and refused to get out of the way or wait for us.
I came back. Hubby had made eggs. I made lattes.
Hubby looked for parts on the computer. He left to go down to the shop at 8AM.
I opened the box that had the bathroom cabinet in it. I stocked it with toilet paper & put the spray on the top. It looks OK in the bathroom.
I made the bed and made Waldorf salad.
Hubby got home at 1PM and was covered in dirt.. He was soaked in sweat. We transferred the wooden bench seat to the garage so that he can undress there. I put his dirty jeans, shirt, and t-shirt in the washer immediately. He took a shower.
Walked the dogs before we left.
We left at 2PM for St George. Stopped at Lowe's to pick up our Security Screen Door. Walked the dogs in the grass in the parking lot edge before hubby went inside to pick up the door. Dogs and I waited in the new truck.
Hubby took for-ever! He said they repeatedly went in the back to find the door and kept coming out with the wrong doors.
Finally went to Michael's. Hubby waited in the truck with dogs. Michael's had a 50% off sale, so I got some fall decor. Store looked like it was 1/2 the size and was already picked thru. Lots of people there.
Then we drove to Starbucks to get cups and drinks. It took a long time there as they had only 2 mixers going. Lots of people there, too. I ordered drinks and got 2 new stainless steel mugs as we had left ours at KR's in Idaho.
Drove to Staples to get a office chair & plastic chair mat. I went in to purchase them and a nice man named Darius. He helped load the box & chair mat.
Then we drove to Terikyaki Grille on Red Cliffs Drive. I talked to a very nice woman that was putting together a presentation for taking care of oneself. She was very nice.
We got our food and ate in the truck.
Then drove back to St. George. Gave dogs some food and water.
Dogs were tired. They napped the entire trip.
Walked dogs when we got home.
Hubby put up mini blinds in our room so we would have privacy and not have the street light shining in our eyes.
It took him about 3 hours with my help to set up the arch fan & mini blinds on the palladin bar for the guest bedroom. Finally had to epoxy the little plastic pieces to the arch.
I went to bed at 9:30PM. Hubby came to bed at 12:38PM. I scolded him for staying up so late.

Walked dogs at 6AM.
Got up and made breakfast for dogs. I made lattes.
Hubby took off to take the new truck and get a truck he bought from Las Vegas.
I had to wait at home with the dogs for our delivery of bedroom furniture from Ashley Home Furniture.
They finally called at 10:30 to say they were coming.
A couple young guys.
The bed slats made the mattress & box springs very tall for the bed. The guy said we could trade them in for 3" box springs instead of the 12" box springs. They could not take them back as they had to deliver and not return.
Hubby arrived home just as the kids were leaving.
We had to go down to the shop and off-load the truck he brought back. He made me get in it and back it down. That Was Scary!
So hubby took me and the dogs with him to Las Vegas. It was a quick trip.
We stopped at Jack In The Box and hubby ran inside to get lunch for us - Teriyaki Bowls.
I ate mine and gave the dogs some chicken nuggets that hubby had purchased.
We walked the dogs and then returned to Mesquite.
Both of us were very tired.
Hubby dropped me off at Walmart so that I could pick up some ice, chicken (for Waldorf salad) and king size sheets for the new bed!
Hubby took us to the house and dropped us off at the back drive. We walked thru the sluice to our home.
I washed the sheets, put them on the new bed.
I took a bath. I really wanted to go to bed because I was so tired.
Hubby called me at 7:30 and wanted me to come down to help him get the truck off the trailer. Dave had gone home and hubby had no help.
So I drove the Expedition and went to help him.
It was scary getting the truck off in the dark!
On the way back, I washed the Expedition at the car wash in front of Walmart. Then at home, we had a box from Fed Ex. It was the storage chest for the bathroom.
Hubby sat watching TV. I went to bed at 8:30PM.
Hubby finally came in to bed much later.
It was very comfortable, but the light outside was still awful. Need to put up mini-blinds.

NEW TRUCK FROM RICHFIELD

SEPTEMBER 27 2018
Got up at 5AM. Took dogs for a walk.
Packed up Expedition.
Stopped down at the shop to pick up Dave's truck. Hubby drove Dave's truck and I drove Expedition to St George, UT.
Just after the canyon, I got pulled over by the police. I had seen him lying in wait by the weeds between the interstate. But I was NOT speeding. He pulled me over for tint on my side windows that was TOO dark???
He ran my stuff and it took forever. Hubby waited in front of me while it was happening.
Finally, the policeman came back and let me go with a "warning" but as I am from out of state, he should really not have pulled me over at all!
We dropped Dave's truck off. Then hubby got in with me. I drove to Beaver, UT.
Then we had to stop and walk dogs. Go potty, and fill car with fuel.
Hubby drove on to Richfield, UT.
Got there by 10:15AM.
Forgot there was a 1 hour setback time in Utah.
Hubby drove the truck. Got them to come down on the price. Signed the paperwork. Installed the hitch ball in the middle of the pickup bed. I walked dogs. Gave them water. Let them sit in the shade. Went into the showroom. Talked to a salesman about his cat. Then we left by 1:30PM.
Hubby drove his new truck back. I drove the car. The drive back seemed to take Forever!
Stopped in St George at the Wendy's to get lunch and walk dogs. Wilson had woken up and was queebing. Both hubby and I pottied, too.
Back on the road and in Mesquite by 4:30PM. We drove to the shop and I helped him load up the trailer on the gooseneck hitch in the back of the pickup bed.
Then hubby left for Las Vegas to pick up a truck he bought.
I drove home with the dogs. Walked the dogs when we got home. Unloaded the car. Started a load of laundry. Made some coffee for myself. Gave dogs & cat fresh water & food.
I called hubby to make sure he was OK on the road. He loves his new truck. It is all computer automated and has bluetooth, back-up camera, electric everything!
I cleaned up the mess that the cat made when he tried to jump into the cabinet and spilled my latte milk.
We received no UPS today. Sad.
I will go down and get mail after it gets dark. I don't want to talk to neighbors.

BACK HOME & PEDESTAL DELIVERY

Got up at 6AM.
Walked dogs.
I made lattes.
Hubby made eggs.
I took a shower.
Hubby got dressed and left to go down to his shop. Needs to help Dave with a shipping container & unload his tools.
I did my hair. Paid bills online. Opened boxes.
Walked dogs again at 9:45AM. Saw a police cruiser drive thru the neighborhood.
I walked the dogs several times.
Hubby called at Noon to say that he was done with work at the shop; found all the backhoe parts.
He took Dave home to St George so that he could borrow his truck.
Hubby came back home.
We decided to buy a new truck and not use Dave's truck. Hubby had found a truck in Richfield, Utah.
The guys from Las Vegas Home Depot came to deliver our Pedestals under the washer/dryer. They installed it pretty quickly. We locked the dogs in the back room so they would not get out.
We told the neighbors that we could not make the Ice Cream Social.
We drove down to the USPS and picked up our package.
Drove to the shop and got things out of the truck that was parked in the shop.
Then we drove to Walmart and picked up groceries and an Google Home.
We can't find our stainless steel Starbuck's travel cups. Hubby texted KR to find out if she had them. She said she would mail them. Sometime.
Drove back home and had dinner. Potatoes and chicken.
Hubby walked dogs.
I was exhausted. Took a bath at 6:30PM and took some Aspirin.
Walked dogs with hubby behind the house after dark.
We went to bed early.
Cat kept climbing on us and scratching. He was miaowing. I got up at 1AM to potty.

TRUCK BREAKS DOWN
TUESDAY
SEPTEMBER 25 2018
Stayed overnight at the Scipio Inn. Very nice sleep. Comfortable bed.
Got up at 6AM, had breakfast. Pretty good considering such a small hotel with not a lot of overnight guests.
Walked the dogs before and after breakfast. Pretty chilly this morning.
Met a nice couple at breakfast. They were heading to Seattle.
We got fuel across the interstate at the Truck Stop. Then headed out.
Got 15 miles outside of Beaver, Utah on Milemarker 147. Then the truck just died.
We had to call AAA for help. The woman was NOT helpful. Would not talk with me. Had to talk with Hubby, policyholder.
She gave the wrong address to the Tow company. They had to come out of Beaver.
I walked the dogs beside the road and watched the black cows in the field.
Hubby tried to fix the truck, called Casey. No help.
Finally, a nice guy named Jeff came and hooked us up. Flat towed us slowly to Beaver. Dogs rode in the black truck, we rode in the cab with him.
At Beaver, another guy named Rick took over the tow. He put the black truck on the deck of the tow truck and put the trailer on a stringer behind the truck. He said that the other truck was not rated to pull that much weight behind it.
So we drove all the way to Cedar City where we unloaded the car & put dogs in the car. I pottied the dogs on the side of the road while the guys unloaded the vehicle. I drove the car from Cedar City to Mesquite. Seemed to take forever. Road construction thru the area. Then 55 all the way thru the hills.
At home, unloaded dogs. Pottied the dogs. The cat kept yelling at me. He was mad we were gone so long.
Hubby called and needed keys for the shop. I had to drive down there to get him. Said goodbye to Rick again. Nice guy.
We stopped at Jack-In-The-Box to get Teriyaki bowls & sandwiches. Drove home.
Ate our food, but a neighbor stopped by. He had to chat for a while and invite us to a Cookout in the Park tomorrow. I think that Dave, hubby's landlord had texted this guy (part of the LDS church?) so he came over to invite us. Nice guy lives near the dog park with the white german shepherd.
He was here for over an hour.
Then we walked the dogs again and were hoping to leave to wash the car and get milk at Walmart. However, Dave, hubby's landlord drove up and had to talk another hour. Hubby invited him inside. He would NOT leave. We were SO tired.
He finally left at 8PM. We stopped to chat with Dee & John who told us that the builders ran into our roof with their equipment.
We finally drove to Walmart. The Deli was closed so we could not get lunch meats & swiss cheese. Forgot to get egg mixture for me.
SO tired.
Washed car. Drove back home.
Had dinner.
Hubby looked at trucks online to buy. I went to bed. Could not sleep. Bed is horribly uncomfortable.
Hubby took dogs for a walk and then finally came to bed at 11PM.

TRIP BACK TO ID

Got up at 5:45AM. I really thought we could sleep later here in Nevada.
Dressed & walked dogs.
Ben limping worse on right rear and left front.
Watched news about the Hurricane Florence in North Carolina.
Walked dogs again at 8:00AM.
Hubby started getting ready to leave. He worked on the truck in the garage. Started to pack go-bag. I got things ready. Unplugged stuff in the house.
We finally started to leave, but Rattler the cat cried in the house. We promised to come back soon and maybe get him a friend to play with at home.
Drove thru to Pocatello, Idaho to stay at the La Quinta Inn.
It was nice a very nice place. Thought I would get bed bugs here.
We walked the dogs as soon as we got there.
Ordered pizza delivery. Hubby went outside to walk dogs.
Then walked them again after dinner.
I went to bed. Did not want to take a shower here. Yuck.
MONDAY
9-17-2018
Drive, Drive, Drive. Stop to walk dogs every 2 hours.
Get fuel.
At Wallace, Idaho. I texted KR to let her know we were coming. She was going to make dinner.
We got to Post Falls pretty late. Spencer had just left at 4PM and we got there at 6PM.
She said that nothing was "thawed" and we could not have dinner.
So we got XXX
KR was upset when we said that we were planning on leaving Saturday morning to get thru Salt Lake on a Sunday. She said that she had taken the weekend off to be with us and share time with us before we leave.
She also had a "list" of things to do for her house. Hubby was not expecting that. We would have to waste our time doing things for her instead of the things we had planned on doing to wrap up the stuff in Idaho.
Hubby and I walked the dogs. KR stayed at home.
I was exhausted and went to bed at 8:30PM. KR was upset about that.
Hubby came to bed later.
TUESDAY
9-18-2018
KR went to work late as "she kept pushing snooze on her alarm". We walked the dogs.
Then hubby and I had to go out and get stuff. Picked up dog food at Ace Hardware in Rathdrum. Got Jitterz lattes. Dropped the trailer off at the shop. Talked to Casey there. Then went for Beebo's dog food at North 40 for KR.
When KR got home that night, we had to go shop at Lowe's to get her fans, faucet for her kitchen sink, and XXX. She used her credit card to pay for them, but we gave her a check that night to pay for them as we were staying at her house and would have had to pay $100 a night to stay in a hotel instead. So it evened out.

Got up early. Walked the dogs.
KR was gone by the time we got back. Beebo was upset and looking for her.
Left the dogs at KR's house.
Had to drive up to the shop and pick up the trailer to return it to the Trailer place for a yearly inspection and so that the insurance agent could look at the roof damage.
Talked to Casey some more.
Went up to the house to talk to Cindy (renter).
Stopped at Jitterz to get drinks in Rathdrum.
Drove the trailer back to Post Falls.
To waste time, we went shopping at Walmart and picked up egg bites at Starbucks.
Dropped the trailer off by 10AM. They did not open until then.
Then we back to KR's house by 11AM to install fan.
KR called the HVAC people (nice guy named Jason) to come and fix her Ductless Heating & Cooling. The refrigerant had leaked out of it, so there was no pressure. It heated up very well after he fixed it. He also tested the cooling.
We paid for that with a check for her.
KR had to go work out at the gym tonight and tan. So she was not in time to make dinner. She was very tired.
Hubby had gone XXXX to do something.

Got up early. KR was leaving for work.
Very cold dog walk this morning. Steaming piles of poo.
KR is getting progressively unpleasant. We think it is because we are leaving soon.

Installed ceiling fan in KR's room. Also installed the light fixture.
KR went to the gym and tanning again after work.
She picked up Capone's afterwards.
Then she left for Amanda's because there was boy trouble with her boyfriend.
Hubby got home late because he had gone to Spokane to look at a truck to purchase.
Then he and Casey and gone to Dave Smith Used Cards in CDA to buy a used Ford Diesel truck.
KR was upset again because we were supposed to be spending time with her.

SEPTEMBER 22 2018
Walked dogs. Hubby made eggs.
KR got up late. Hubby went to the shop to get things done with the new truck.
Walked the dogs.
Finally got going around noon.
I drove my Expedition to the Spokane Valley Mall. We shopped at Home Goods.
Then we drove to the mall. KR returned jeans at American Eagle. I picked out a sweater because it is getting colder here. Went to Bath & Body. KR got candles & scents, I got Calming salts & spray & a box.
We ate at Twigs. Not the greatest food.
I got my ear pierced at Silver Safari. KR was irritated that I was getting my ear pierced. She was very moody.
We had to stop at her home to pick up her charger because her phone went dead.
She was upset with me because I wandered off at the store. She was yelling at me because I was "not listening to her", then I forgot some things she told me and she yelled at me again.
Drove to Winco and got groceries. I picked up a couple things, but did not have my debit card or cash to pay. KR had to pay for groceries.
We went home and unloaded the groceries.
KR was upset that hubby was not back yet.
KR took off for Amanda's again; went out drinking at some bar. Amanda came to KR's house so that she could go to dinner with us.
Went to dinner at McKenzie River Pizza which was the only place open late. We had to pay for dinner.
Dropped Amanda off at her car.
We walked the dogs late.
SUNDAY

KR got up and was VERY moody. Yelling at me repeatedly to "not slam the door".
Hubby and I took the dogs for a walk.
I volunteered to go get lattes at Starbucks. I pre-ordered on the mobile app. KR yelled at me to go get them and not wait around.
I got back and brought in the lattes. Nobody helped.
Hubby had to go pick up some wheels around 2PM in Airway Heights. KR was livid when she found out. Instead of coming with us, she got mad and stayed at her house
We had to go get the trailer & truck, so spent 3PM to 6PM at the house. Took dogs up with us.
Talked to the Renter, Kyle. Made sure the water line was being buried correctly by Lane.
Went up and talked to Mike & Cindy. Loaded all the things from the garage into the Blue truck and parked it in the grey shop.
Saw 3 moose; momma & 2 babies. Then saw some deer at the house.
We finally got back to KR's at 6PM. She was SUPPOSED to be making dinner for us tonight as this was our last night together.
KR started fighting and arguing with us. It just got worse. She spiraled into repeating things just like she used to do. We finally left instead of staying. I packed quickly and hubby tried to talk with her. She was very upset and expected us to stay and stay and stay.
We drove to Missoula, Montana and stayed at the LaQuinta there. It was very late.
MONDAY

Got up. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast in hotel. Fed eggs to dogs.
Walked dogs.
Both of us were very upset. Can't understand KR acting out like she did.
Drove, and Drove, and Drove.
Truck did very good. Got 10 mpg.
Stopped to get fuel and walk dogs.
Ben loves his new big back seat. Wilson goes to sleep beside him in the back.
Stopped for the night in Scipio, Utah. Small hotel. It was very late; about 10PM after we finally got thru Salt Lake area.
Got off at exit to get Chik Fil A, but there was a long line. Hubby parked. I stayed with dogs while he went to get chicken sandwiches at Wendy's. Got chicken nuggets for dogs.
Walked dogs and went to bed.
TUESDAY
SEPTEMBER 25 2018
Stayed overnight at the Scipio Inn.
Got up at 6AM, had breakfast. Pretty good considering such a small hotel with not a lot of overnight guests.
Walked the dogs before and after breakfast. Pretty chilly this morning.
Met a nice couple at breakfast. They were heading to Seattle.
We got fuel across the interstate at the Truck Stop. Then headed out.
Got 15 miles outside of Beaver, Utah on Milemarker 147. Then the truck just died.
We had to call AAA for help. The woman was NOT helpful. Would not talk with me. Had to talk with Hubby, policyholder.
She gave the wrong address to the Tow company. They had to come out of Beaver, Utah.
I walked the dogs beside the road and watched the black cows in the field.
Hubby tried to fix the truck, called Casey. No help.
Finally, a nice guy named Jeff from the Tow company came and hooked us up. Flat towed us slowly to Beaver. Dogs rode in the black truck, we rode in the cab with him.
At Beaver, another guy named Rick took over the tow. He put the black truck on the deck of the tow truck and put the trailer on a stringer behind the truck. He said that the other truck was not rated to pull that much weight behind it.
So we drove all the way to Cedar City where we unloaded the car & put dogs in the car. I pottied the dogs on the side of the road while the guys unloaded the vehicle. I drove the car from Cedar City to Mesquite. Seemed to take forever. Road construction thru the area. Then 55 all the way thru the hills.
At home, unloaded dogs. Pottied the dogs. The cat kept yelling at me. He was mad we were gone so long.
Hubby called and needed keys for the shop. I had to drive down there to get him. Said goodbye to Rick again. Nice guy.
We stopped at Jack-In-The-Box to get Teriyaki bowls & sandwiches. Drove home.
Ate our food, but a neighbor stopped by. He had to chat for a while and invite us to a Cookout in the Park tomorrow. I think that Dave, hubby's landlord had texted to him (part of the LDS church?) so he came over to invite us. Nice guy lives near the dog park with the white german shepherd.
He was here for over an hour.
Then we walked the dogs again and were hoping to leave to wash the car and get milk at Walmart. However, Dave, hubby's landlord drove up and had to talk another hour. Hubby invited him inside. He would NOT leave. We were SO tired.
He finally left at 8PM. We stopped to chat with Dee & John who told us that the builders ran into our roof with their equipment.
We finally drove to Walmart. The Deli was closed so we could not get lunch meats & swiss cheese. Forgot to get egg mixture for me.
SO tired.
Washed car. Drove back home.
Had dinner.
Hubby looked at trucks online to buy. I went to bed. Could not sleep. Bed is horribly uncomfortable.
Hubby took dogs for a walk and then finally came to bed at 11PM.

Got up at 5:45AM. I really thought we could sleep later here in Nevada.
Dressed & walked dogs.
Ben limping worse on right rear and left front.
Watched news about the Hurricane Florence in North Carolina.
Walked dogs again at 8:00AM.
Hubby started getting ready to leave. He worked on the truck in the garage. Started to pack go-bag. I got things ready. Unplugged stuff in the house.
We finally started to leave, but Rattler the cat cried in the house. We promised to come back soon and maybe get him a friend to play with at home.
Drove thru to Pocatello, Idaho to stay at the La Quinta Inn.
It was nice a very nice place. Thought I would get bed bugs here.
We walked the dogs as soon as we got there.
Ordered pizza delivery. Hubby went outside to walk dogs.
Then walked them again after dinner.
I went to bed. Did not want to take a shower here. Yuck.
MONDAY

Drive, Drive, Drive. Stop to walk dogs every 2 hours.
Get fuel.
At Wallace, Idaho. I texted KR to let her know we were coming. She was going to make dinner.
We got to Post Falls pretty late. Spencer had just left at 4PM and we got there at 6PM.
She said that nothing was "thawed" and we could not have dinner.
So we got XXX
KR was upset when we said that we were planning on leaving Saturday morning to get thru Salt Lake on a Sunday. She said that she had taken the weekend off to be with us and share time with us before we leave.
She also had a "list" of things to do for her house. Hubby was not expecting that. We would have to waste our time doing things for her instead of the things we had planned on doing to wrap up the stuff in Idaho.
Hubby and I walked the dogs. KR stayed at home.
I was exhausted and went to bed at 8:30PM. KR was upset about that.
Hubby came to bed later.
TUESDAY

KR went to work late as "she kept pushing snooze on her alarm". We walked the dogs.
Then hubby and I had to go out and get stuff. Picked up dog food at Ace Hardware in Rathdrum. Got Jitterz lattes. Dropped the trailer off at the shop. Talked to Casey there. Then went for Beebo's dog food at North 40 for KR.
When KR got home that night, we had to go shop at Lowe's to get her fans, faucet for her kitchen sink, and XXX. 9-15-2018
Got up at 5:45AM.
We took dogs for a walk in the doggy park. They both pooped.
At home, Hubby made eggs while I made lattes.
Then we unpacked the new sofas and put them in the living room. There was a problem that we put the seats on wrong and forgot to install the armrests. Oh my. We fixed it.
I ordered more shorts at Target online.
Ordered a table lamp for the living room.
I researched side tables for the living room.
Hubby was ambitious and installed the ceiling fan in the living room. He installed the controls upside down, so 4 is the slowest and 1 is the fastest. The fan circulates air like a hurricane! Very nice 3-bladed fan.
We gathered all the cardboard and loaded the truck. Ben helped hubby outside. He stayed around and did not run away. Put the dogs in the truck and drove to the shop downtown to drop off the trailer.
Stopped at Library Park (EVERYBODY had to park next to us. OMG.) to walk dogs in the grass and give them water.
Could not stop at KFC to get a chicken sandwich because we could not roll down the windows yet after window tinting!
Then we drove to the DUMP to drop off the cardboard. At the dump, they were watering and it smelled HORRIBLY. Rotting, decay, detritus.
The dirt got stuck in the wheel wells of the truck and hubby had walked in it. He brought it in the truck. Barf.
So hubby dropped us off at the dog park and we walked to our house.
Hubby took the truck to the car wash in front of Walmart to wash.
I had turkey and cheese for lunch. Walked down to get mail. Got a box in the mail; it was our new LaCrosse temperature gauge. I put batteries in the remote and plugged in unit.
Hubby got home at 1:45PM and sat down on his NEW sofa to enjoy watching his automotive shows.
I kept researching side tables for the living room.
We walked the dogs several times.
I had cheese & turkey for lunch/dinner.
I looked online for rugs to purchase for the living room. I think this is the TOUGHEST decision yet. Not a lot of choices, too costly.
We watched Lodge 49 and some stupid Hulu show called The First about astronauts going to Mars. BORING.
Walked dogs at 9PM. Ben limping.
Went to bed at 10:30PM

ANOTHER TRIP TO LAS VEGAS FOR SOFAS
FRIDAY
9-14-2018
I could not sleep very well all night. Cat was digging at the closet door. Had to put him out of the room and shut the door. Then he was later digging at the door cabinet in the bathroom. Had to go potty and open the door for him.
Woke up sweaty. I got up to turn on the A/C. It had gotten down to 70°.
Got up at 5:45AM.
Took dogs for walk. It was quite cool outside with a breeze blowing.
We made lattes and eggs.
Went to check our balance in the Bank and our money had DISAPPEARED! We were desperately upset.
Took the dogs to Pampered Pooches Day Care. Told them to wash, groom, cut toenails.
Then we drove over to the shop and picked up the trailer.
Drove to Las Vegas.
Picked up our sofas downtown at LV Furniture Warehouse.
Then drove north to pick up our other chairs at In Style Furniture.
Stopped at Teriyaki Madness to have lunch.
Went to Lowe's. Picked up laundry room cabinets.
Drove east so hubby could look at trucks. He put $ down on them.
Then we drove south on I-15 to look at another truck in downtown Vegas.
We then drove back north on MLK road. Got on the I-15 again and drove home.
Stopped for fuel. Then picked up dogs.
Hubby parked down at the bottom of the street with the truck & trailer. I walked up to get the dogs.
It was odd, because they had let the dogs chew thru the leashes that were "up on a shelf". Odd. Weren't the dogs supervised?
Then I noticed blood on the back seat when we unloaded the dogs to walk them at the doggy park at home. I walked the dogs & they pottied while hubby parked the truck.
I walked the dogs home.
Ben went inside the house and flung blood EVERYWHERE. I ran to get hubby. He helped me and we found out that Ben's toenail had been cut too short. Blood on cabinets, blood on floor, blood on rug.
I took pictures of everything. Hubby called the Groomers. The lady came to see us and brought some stuff to put on his nail to stop the bleeding.
I was upset. It took another 45 minutes after she left to clean the house.
Hubby brought in the cabinets & sofas from the trailer.
We were tired.
Ate the rest of our Teriyaki food bowls, watched Lodge 49.
I went to get mail.
I took a shower. It was already 7PM.
Met hubby and the boys coming back from a walk.
I stayed up for a little while to watch Lodge 49 with hubby.
Went to bed at 9:30PM.

Stopped for fuel. Then picked up dogs.
Hubby parked down at the bottom of the street with the truck & trailer. I walked up to get the dogs.
It was odd, because they had let the dogs chew thru the leashes that were "up on a shelf". Odd. Weren't the dogs supervised?
Then I noticed blood on the back seat when we unloaded the dogs to walk them at the doggy park at home. I walked the dogs & they pottied while hubby parked the truck.
I walked the dogs home.
Ben went inside the house and flung blood EVERYWHERE. I ran to get hubby. He helped me and we found out that Ben's toenail had been cut too short. Blood on cabinets, blood on floor, blood on rug.
I took pictures of everything. Hubby called the Groomers. The lady came to see us and brought some stuff to put on his nail to stop the bleeding.
I was upset. It took another 45 minutes after she left to clean the house.
Hubby brought in the cabinets & sofas from the trailer.
We were tired.
Ate the rest of our Teriyaki food bowls, watched Lodge 49.
I went to get mail.
I took a shower. It was already 7PM.
Met hubby and the boys coming back from a walk.
I stayed up for a little while to watch Lodge 49 with hubby.
Went to bed at 9:30PM.

WINDOW TINTING

SEPTEMBER 13 2018
Got up early at 5:45AM.
Dressed in clean clothes from our new washer/dryer.
Walked dogs in the park.
Came back and made lattes. Hubby made eggs.
We took dogs for a walk in the park again.
The construction workers were finishing up with the framing on the house next door.
Hubby watched videos on YouTube about Laser Steel cutting tables.
We walked dogs around.
Waited for the Window Tint guy to come. Tint guy called hubby and said that he cannot get permission from the Architecture Review Board to install tint on the windows. Tint guy came around 9:45AM to pick up the truck for window tinting.
I walked dogs to the Dog Park at 11:30AM. Hubby started making lunch. Spaghetti & Meatballs.
Got mail from KR. Anniversary card, New Home card, and Post card from Banff.
We got a box from Fed Ex; it was the new Shredder from Walmart.
Then the doorbell rang and we had quite a few boxes from UPS.
Got 1 new black ceiling fan. Got a broken box of wine glasses from Amazon. Got our new counter stools from Houzz. Got our new Printer from Office Max/Office Depot.

WASHER AND DRYER DELIVERY!
W E D N E S D A Y
SEPTEMBER 12 2018
Cat slept on my chest for over 1 hour last night, bapping at my necklace & face.
He was up at 5AM, trying to get into the closet. I put him out of the room and closed the door. We slept until 6:15AM.
I got up to potty and dressed. Put the clean dishes away. Got hubby's pan and dishes out for breakfst. Took the dogs for a walk while hubby made eggs for breakfast.
I came back and made lattes.
The construction workers were here with green wood, wood package for framing, and plywood for framing the house next door. We are losing our "view" thru the middle of the house. Sad.
I cleaned out the laundry room because we get delivery of our WASHER & DRYER today!
Then I took the dogs for a walk at 10AM. The delivery men got here as we got to the dog park. Stopped at the post box, but no mail there today.
Walked home and they were just bringing the washer/dryer set. They installed it quickly and did a test wash/dry.
They had us sign paperwork and were out of here within 30 minutes.
I started laundry.
I looked in the garage for more things to put on my side table in the entryway. Found the water fountain and hooked that up. Hubby installed the clock. He also hung the pretty picture at the end of the hallway that we had purchased yesterday at Home Depot.
Hubby made several phone calls to a dealer in Las Vegas about a truck, to Frontier about internet for renter, to Landscaper about installing astro-turf, and to the fence guy to make sure he is putting in a angle fence on the side of the house, not a stepped fence.
I put clean laundry away.
Before we knew it, the day was gone and it was 3PM. We drove over to the Pioneer Center to register as HOA members, and get our temporary pass cards. They also issued stickers for the vehicles.
Drove to Smith's to pick up more tea for me, and some meatballs for spaghetti dinner.
Drove over to the Window Tint store to see the tints they had available. I told hubby to pick what he wants.
Drove home.
Walked dogs as soon as we got home.
We had LOTS of packages from UPS/Fed Ex.
Opened our new lamps! Opened our new electric LED salt/pepper shakers! Opened my new Volcom sandals. Opened our new USB chargers for the back of our bedside tables (when they get here).
Took dogs for another walk. The sun had was going down and it was shaded behind the flat top. We walked all around the neighborhood. Hubby found another Haven that he looked at to find out the insulation, HVAC, and studs were placed.
Came back and cranked the A/C. It was still 93 °
Hubby came back home and filled out a trouble ticket for Frontier internet.
I texted KR and told her about our exciting day.
I went to bed at 10PM. Hubby stayed up to watch automotive shows. He walked the dogs late and came to bed.

PEDICURES, NAILS, AND NEW GRILLE
TUESDAY
SEPTEMBER 11 2018
Hubby got up and took the dogs for a walk at 5:50AM.
He put out the garbage can this morning.
Not having a fence or a doggy door is killing us. The dogs really need to go out when they want.
I got up and made lattes. Made eggs.
Hubby got back with the dogs. He fed them eggs.
We put together the Mayores Console Table and put it in the entryway.
Hubby put all the cardboard in the back of the truck, then we drove to the Refuse Collection area (dump).
Got back home and I got the paperwork for the dogs.
We drove to Saint George.
Dropped dogs off at Red Rock Doggy Day Care. They were very kind there. Felt better about leaving dogs.
We went to get our nails done at Da-Vi nails in the Walmart store. Pedicures felt good. I have pink toes. Hubby said his feet feel MUCH better. I got my nails done in 36 minutes! Yippee.
We went to the other side of town and ate at Teriyaki Grille. Really good chicken, avocado, vegetables, and rice. Very inexpensive.
Drove back to other side of town to shop at Lowe's for grille. Hubby got a Char-Broil grille on sale.
Then we got a very large 36" clock on sale for the entryway, picked up a rug for the entryway, and found a beautiful picture for $5 which was damaged for the hallway to our bedroom.
Drove to pick up the dogs. Wilson was playing happily in the side yard and HEARD the truck pull into the lot. He came over to the fence like a convict and started whining.
We paid for their day care fee and gave them water.
Drove to Starbucks because hubby had to have a coffee.
Drove back to Mesquite.
Unloaded dogs and walked them right away at the Dog park. Hubby parked the truck outside of the garage. We unloaded the grille, put it in the side yard.
Then we drove to Walmart to get water, ice, and milk.
We lost each other in Walmart, but found each other in the grocery section. I talked to KR when she called. She had been to a seminar at a hotel in Airway Heights.
We paid for our groceries and left. Hubby had to return inside to get ice that he forgot to purchase.
We drove home, walked dogs. Got mail.
Unloaded groceries.
Hubby unpacked the big clock. He put in new lightbulbs everywhere to have brighter light.
Hubby watched his automotive shows.
Took the dogs for a walk.
I took a hot bath.
Took the dogs for another walk.
Looked at the lights from Prominence park bench.
Back home to bed.

DAY AT IKEA
MONDAY
9-10-2018
Up early making lattes. Hubby made eggs.
We take dogs for walk in dog park.
Drive to town and put dogs in doggy day care.
We drive to Las Vegas. Take to I-15 thru town (BIG MISTAKE) lots of construction and slow downs. 45 minutes later finally get to IKEA.
Starving, we go eat food first, I get a chicken wrap Hubby gets veggies & meatballs. He has over-stuffed feeling even tho he is hungry. So he can't eat his food.
We slog thru miles, and miles, and miles of IKEA. Get lost several times. Hubby wants to buy everything here.
Tired, we finally check out.
Drive home via the 215. Much better drive. Much faster. Must remember this.
We are exhausted on the way home.
Listen to Neil Diamond. Sing along.
Pick up puppies at Doggy Day Care. Bring them home. Wilson pees in office right away. Hubby takes them out for a potty to the dog park while I clean that up.
We unpack the IKEA. Wash the new dishes & silverware. We got Dragon flatware and FÄRGRIK dishes.
I wash everything. Hubby even got a new can opener!
UPS delivers the Mayores Console Table from Wayfair. The cat thinks it is a big box for him to play within.
We take the dogs for another walk.
Took the dogs home.
Ran into John & Dee. They gave us a tour of their home. Lots of cats.
Hubby sits down with me at the dining table and we order accessories for the house.
I take a hot bath. Take aspirin. Did not drink enough water today.
Went to bed about 9PM.

DAY IN LAS VEGAS
SUNDAY
SEPTEMBER 9 2018
Up at 6AM.
Dog walk.
Breakfast at 7AM. Hubby made eggs. I made lattes.
Hubby had already hooked the trailer to the truck the night before.
Took the dogs with us so that we could put them in Doggy Day Care and then shop.
Hubby had a fit and did not want to put them in Doggy Day Care. So they came with us all day. They were super hot and uncomfortable.
Got off on the 215.
Stopped at ARCO gas and got fuel. I walked the dogs around the parking lot. Ben found a bone to chew on. I told him to spit it out.
Shopped at Big Lots, but they did not have our sofas. Then we drove over to Half Price Furniture, they were just opening at 10AM. We purchased a dining room table and had to wait around to load it instead of waiting for delivery and paying an extra $150. We wanted extra chairs instead of a bench, so we will have to return to pick them up another day.
A lady that was coming out of Half Price Furniture talked to us and said she was from Sun City in Mesquite, too. She had just purchased a side table. We told her that we could take it that day, so she had them try to load it. It was too heavy.
We had lunch at Jack In The Box. I waited with the dogs in the truck while hubby walked inside to get chicken sandwich for me and hamburger for him. We shared with the dogs. Drove to the gas station where we had gotten gas to sit in the shade of the awning.
Then we went to another furniture place and bought reclining black sofas, but they would not be ready until Friday to pick up. We have to return then.
Hubby took me to Target where I purchased some summer shorts and shirts. The stores already have winter clothes out! OMG. Winter clothes in this area!
We drove home.
At home, we walked the dogs.
Unloaded the dining table and chairs.
Then we took the dogs with us to hubby's new shop in the other part of town. He dropped it off in the parking lot. He showed me his new shop.
We drove home.
I was exhausted. Took the dogs for another walk.
I went to bed. Hubby stayed up to watch his automotive shows.

Cat in his potty at 5AM woke me up. I hate our old bed.
Tried to sleep late. Hubby took dogs for a walk. His phone rang while he was gone, so I got up.
It was Boulevard Furniture telling us that they would be here by 10:30AM to deliver our fridge.
We took the dogs in the tan truck to McDonalds for breakfast because we had no eggs in the house.
Found Library Park in town to walk in the grass & shade. Had a picnic.
Drove around town for hubby to find rental places.
Picked up dog & cat food at the Hardware store in town.
Came back and walked dogs.
Boulevard Furniture drove the semi truck in just as we were walking dogs. Hubby rushed home to get the delivery. Michael & Josh were very nice. Took off front door and brought fridge inside. Michael explained how to use fridge. Very friendly guys.

I surfed the net for home furnishings.

MOVING TO MESQUITE
SEPTEMBER 1, 2018-SEPTEMBER 7, 2018
Quite a week!
Moving and lots of things happening.
SATURDAY September 1 2018
My lower left back is still hurting. So it is horrible sitting
for an extended period in the truck.
We get up late. So very tired.
Load up dogs and cat in the Blue diesel. Drive to
Rathdrum to pick up Jitterz lattes.
At our home in Athol, we trade trucks and get in the Tan
truck. Hubby does last minute adjustments to the vehicle & trailer.
Then we head out on the road.
Hubby thinks he forgot his billfold at KR’s, but finds it
when we stop for fuel at Costco.
Finally get out of town by about 11AM.
Stop in Kellogg to get lunch at Burger Place. Hubby walks
across the street to get another Latte from coffee stand.
On the road, we stop often to walk dogs.
Stop for the night in Butte, Montana. We stay at the La
Quinta Inn because they are pet friendly.

Walk dogs. Haul the cat inside the room. It is an extremely
small room and I keep hitting my shins on the bed.
We send out for food via a delivery service. Specialty
sandwiches from someplace.
Take showers.
Go to bed early as we are exhausted.
SUNDAY September 2 2018
Up early and walk dogs.
Eat a great egg breakfast at the hotel.
We are on the road again after fueling up.
Hubby notices the left rear brake caliper is grinding. He
pulls over on the interstate to beat on it to get it to loosen. Makes me get in
the driver’s seat to hit the brakes repeatedly.
DRIVING. DRIVING. DRIVING.
Get gas a lot. Stop to take dogs for walks.
It takes 3 hours to drive thru Salt Lake City &
neighboring area.
Finally get to Cedar City and we are ready to stop for
the night. Cannot drive thru as it is too far.
We stop at La Quinta again and get a bigger room which is
on the corner of the hotel, 2nd floor. We can see the truck &
trailer from the window on the corner. The cat likes this room as he can run
around and play, look out the windows.

Go over to Jack-In-The-Box across the interstate to have
dinner. It is right by a dental office in the shape of a Lighthouse. We walk
the dogs there.
Back to the hotel. Not much place to park as there is a
huge semi parked in the lot and the lot is wrapped around a hill. Need to make
a complaint about this to the hotel.
Take showers. Go to bed.
MONDAY September 3, 2018
Up early again. We have an egg breakfast again. Not as
good eggs as yesterday. There was a nice hotel employee woman that was cleaning
all the tables that talked to us. She had her hair in a braid and I
complimented her about it. She offered to braid my hair. I declined.
On the road after getting Starbucks. Hubby stayed with
the truck on the side street and checked the brakes again.
Got fuel.
Drove to Mesquite. Got there about Noon.
Walked the dogs at the Doggy Park in our neighborhood.
Then opened our house and looked thru it for the first
time. Not Bad. We were expecting much worse. We actually got the straight
ceilings instead of everything curved. Yippee. I hate curved.
Couple minor things wrong and damage to some doors, but
not bad.
We started unloading. I could not help much with my sore
back, but hubby brought totes inside and I unloaded them.
We both carried in our queen metal bed and set it up in
the spare bedroom. We will sleep there until we get our master bedroom set.
Keep unloading.
Met lots of neighbors.
Walked dogs lots of times.
Went down to Del Taco in town to have dinner.
Nothing to sit on except for the barstools we brought
from home.
We were tired, so decided to take showers in our new
walk-in shower and go to bed early.
TUESDAY September 4, 2018
My back was still hurting. Taking aspirin.
Up early.
Can’t find anything. So disorganized.
Walk dogs in doggy park.
Unloading again.
Decide to leave dogs & cat at home so we drive to St
George for parts to fix the brakes on truck. Take the trailer off the truck.
We go to Costco and pick up towels & necessities.
Stop at O’Reilly’s where hubby transfers his account info
here. He gets brake parts.
Eat at Wendy’s.
Drive back to Mesquite.
Unload stuff. Walk dogs.
More neighbors come over to visit. Nancy brings over
Waldorf Salad, which is the best thing we have ever eaten. We have no fridge,
so we have to eat it all.
WEDNESDAY September 5 2018
Up early again and unloading.
We go down to Walmart to pick up a latte machine and
pods.
Walking dogs all day long.
Hubby does such a great job of unloading and organizing
totes in the garage. He finally gets the trailer unloaded late today.
The landscaper recommended by Dee & John comes at 1PM
to give us a quote on doing our backyard. He said he cannot get to it for 2-4
weeks. Needs to squeeze it in between a big job. We tell him to go ahead and do
it.
Hubby makes many phone calls about utilities, phone,
garbage, water, internet.
Internet subcontractor is here during the day to pull fiber
from the buried splice box up the street. He was here most of the afternoon.
We find out that the garbage department did not get a
copy of our deed which I send in the email to them.
We have to drive down to the City Building to take a copy
of the deed to them.
Domino’s Pizza delivery for dinner tonight.
We are exhausted and take showers with our new Costco
towels. Need to get more of them!
Walk dogs several times.
Bed at 9PM.
THURSDAY September 6, 2018
My back is still hurting. But getting better.
Unpacking totes inside house. Putting things away.
The Fence guy from Branding Iron comes at 10AM to give us
a quote. We give him a deposit to do the fence. The neighbor next to us is
going to split the cost of his side of the fence with us! Yippee. Neighbors
being nice. Hopefully, he does come thru with it.
Hubby thinks the quote should be about 1 / 2 of what we
get. They are really making an excessive amount of money from the retirees
here.
Got our new GARBAGE CAN. We also took a load of garbage to the dump.
We went to do laundry in town. Talked to some woman
there. Hubby was on the phone talking. Then we left after about 45 minutes.
Went to get groceries at Smith’s.
Picked up Roberto’s Tacos on the way home.
More unpacking things.
Walked dogs.
We were exhausted again and went to bed early.
FRIDAY September 7 2018
Up early to take dogs for a walk. I make lattes for
everybody. Hubby makes eggs for the dogs. We are keeping milk & eggs in the
mini fridge he brought from home. Plugged into the garage outlet.
We keep unpacking.
Meet more neighbors.
Walk dogs lots of times.
We install the TV that we purchased at Costco. UPS
brought the wall mount that I ordered. The TV is very heavy. Hubby drills holes
in the wall in the wrong places. We have to take it down twice to plug in the
wires we forgot. Hate being stupid old.
Wilson pees in the office room. We have to yell at him.
At Noon, the TDS guy comes to install the Internet.
We hook up our computer. Ty’s computer is NOT wireless.
So we are pissed. Called the guy back in CDA and he mumbles about they are all
wireless. Bring it back in and they will fix it.
So we have to hook up the old computer.
Finally pulled out our camping chairs and sat in them.
Pulled up totes to put our legs up on.
Hubby had to meet Dave today at 5PM to give him a rent deposit
check. He was back by 6:30PM.
We watched tv for a while.
Walked dogs. Went to bed at 9PM after showers.
