ANOTHER EXCURSION

SUNDAY

Hubby got up at 6AM and sat on the couch. He perused his iPad.

I got up at 7:30AM. After nightmares all night long.

I made lattes. I made breakfast eggs for dogs. I made breakfast egg sandwich with bacon for hubby.

Hubby found an Excursion online Craigslist to purchase. At 8AM hubby emailed the guy and hoped to get a reply back.

Another "project truck" for hubby to get. He really LIKES his Excursions!

We got a call back from the guy at 9:30AM. Made arrangements to meet him in Bonners Ferry at 2PM.

Took the dogs for a walk in the park at Farragut down at Willow Lakeview Trail Loop. Some idiot bikers came by us as we unloaded the dogs. They surprised us by coming up on us quietly right next to where we parked. Dumb asses. Did not say hello or let us know they were coming!

Walked by a young couple with a 2 year old. The little girl was swinging and her parents were bbqing on the grille. Reminded us of having a little girl.

Saw a wedding getting set up in the Sunrise Day Use area.

After our walk, hubby stopped for another latte at Pit Stop Espresso in Athol.


We sat around home for a while.

Arranged to have Mark bring the trailer back by 12:30 because we had to take it to get the Excursion.

At 1:00, we finally texted Mark and he said the trailer was at the shop. We drove down there to hook it up. Then we left. However, Hubby had forgotten the cash to purchase the vehicle. So we drove back and got the cash.

On our way again. We stopped at the Conoco across from Walmart in Sandpoint to get fuel. Then we stopped at the Napa in Bonners Ferry to pick up transmission fluid.

Waited for over an hour to meet the guy because he was late. Followed a mini van filled with people to this home in the backwoods off Hwy 2 far away from Moyie Springs.

Old Highway 2 Loop Moyie Springs, off to Colonial Lane. It was a winding 2 land road that seemed to last forever. We were scared they were taking us back there to kill us and rob us of the money!

Back Of The Beyond in North Idaho

Hubby looked at the Excursion and ended up giving the guy $600 less than he was asking. Then hubby sold the push bar on the front of the Excursion to the neighbor for $100, he ended up giving the money to the seller. Weird.

They loaded the Excursion, hubby had to fill it with tranny fluid because it stopped just as he was loading it.

Then we got the heck out of there.

Drove to see Dave & Vera in Naples, but they were not there. We looked around. They had the building built and their cars all around. The dogs had a nice area to go outside and were protected inside the building.

We left and drove to Sandpoint. Shopped at Walmart. I got a salad. Hubby got chicken tenders, mac-n-cheese to eat. Purchased gift for Larry Jr's (#3) daughter that had been born the other day. Charlotte Rose. Will give them used blankets, gift, card, and money.

Then we drove home. It was raining. Still raining.

Got home after dark. Unloaded groceries.

Made latte. Hubby & I watched Fargo, Season 2. Went to bed at 11:30PM.
