INDEPENDENCE DAY
Got up and made lattes for hubby and me.
Hubby made eggs for dogs.
We sat on the deck and drank coffee, listened to music.
Went down to Bayview for July 4th Red, White, and Blue Breakfast. Blueberry Pancakes, Sausage and Orange Juice.
Saw Leslie Diener there and talked with her.
Drove home.
Ordered TV stand from Wayfair.

KR got here a little while after we did.
KODA CAME BACK. SHE WAS MIAOWING UNDER THE DECK!
Koda is very skinny. I locked her in the bathroom downstairs with water, cat food, tuna, litter and the cat tower. She can rest down there for a while. Looks healthy, just skin and bones!
KR left after dropping Beebo off and showing us how to enter & exit the Kayaks.
I ordered new Keens because I cannot find my shoes anywhere. The only bad thing is that they won't be here for a week...

Then we drove to Kelso Lake and put the kayaks into the water. We boated around for about an hour. Talked to some nice lady on the dock.
Drove home.
Hubby warmed up hamburgers from 5 Guys and we had dinner.
Watched TV for a while; took a nap.
Took dogs for walk at dusk in Farragut Park. Ben went on-point and Bud attacked a PORCUPINE. Beebo ran after the porcupine into the woods. Bud had lots of quills in his mouth & foot.

We loaded the dogs up and drove home. In Athol, the fireworks at a personal property made Beebo dive under the dash and try to dig up the carpet in the truck.
At home, we dug quills out of Bud's face, mouth, and feet.
Stayed at home because it was too late for fireworks. Sat on our deck for a while. Shut all the doors, windows, and doggy door so the animals would stay inside tonight.
Went to bed at 11PM.
