TUESWEDTHUR & MOOSE

TUESDAY

Just woke up and did the same old. Breakfast & latte for hubby.

Then spent the day cleaning house & exercising.

Girl from rescue called and asked us to take a 165 pound 45 inch tall Great Dane for 3 weeks as a foster, I had to turn her down. Too many dogs. And this one is just a little bit too big.

Hubby came home and spent the night with us watching TV.

WEDNESDAY

Woke up this morning to a moose in the front yard! He was nudging around the old moldy deer food. So I rushed out to give him some more without frightening him. But he would not eat the food, too close to the house. I threw out some bread & apples, but he was not interested in that either.

Dogs barked for a while at moose (mostly Lil Bit) but later they just ignored him.

I made breakfast & latte for hubby.

Hubby left for work and the moose ambled off into the woods.

I exercised today, vacuumed some more. Ben was a bad dog and had brought in a cedar chip from outside.

Ben gets the hiccups a lot.

Hubby came home and had dinner with us, then went down to shop to work until 10:30.


THURSDAY

 Again this morning, the moose was in the front yard. Hubby suggested putting water out for him. We will do that tonight.

Hubby had put the deer food out in the feeders, so the moose had eaten that. He was now sleeping on the ground.

Moose got up when the dogs came out to potty, but for the most part the dogs just ignored him. Obviously he enjoys the weeds around here because he dug up some while he was here. Then later he slept on the ground for a while and ambled off into the woods again.

I exercised. Did laundry & dishes.

Ben found lots of new toys in the back yard under the snow. We had gotten him after the big snow, so he is DISCOVERING our back yard! Such a sweetie.
