Rain

It rained lightly this morning.

Got up and made latte for hubby along with egg cups & toast.

He had them quickly before we took the dogs for a walk. Walked the gravel pit for sale on Diagonal Road. It was quite a hit with the dogs. Lots of new smells & recent deer tracks.

Came back & loaded firewood from our pit onto trailer & stacked in the shop. Hubby happy because he has 5 cord of wood for shop this winter. Hope it is a mild winter!

We also put all our plants & outdoor stuff away in the basement.

Hubby wants to leave fish outside until just before it snows. They were in the basement for an awful long winter last year. They need fresh air & sunshine until the very last minute. Don't want them to freeze, tho.

Put up new "No Trespassing" signs on the property.

We also turned on the propane stove in the house. Ran a test fire in it to make sure it was OK.

Got gasoline in A-town in the Dodge. Went for another walk with the dogs down at Farragut park in the closed camping area. Saw some deer run away from us. Harriet & Bud wanted to run after them badly.

Dropped dogs off at home and went grocery shopping in Spirit Lake.

Hubby had to go back for propane in our grilling bottle because we forgot!

I got chicken breasts & onions ready. Put away groceries. Washed my hair. Fed the deer outside.

Gave dogs the bones that we had purchased at the grocery store. They were so happy. A great day for them. TWO walks & bones. Plus Bud was having fun with mom & dad while we loaded wood & Isabelle sat in the back of the truck sharing time with us.

Hubby grilled when he came back. After dinner, I got an upset tummy & vomited my whole dinner.

Rained and rained and rained from 7pm until bedtime.
