But I am NEVER again sending Christmas presents to the kids overseas.
Shopping extremely early. Wrapping...and then after writing out by hand (because the dumb United States Post Office has not stepped into the present century...) the TEN Customs Declarations and Dispatch Note...I have foresworn to NOT play this game anymore. Wouldn't it be so much simpler to have all this technology on-line? Automated? Hello? Postmaster General...Are You Listening?
We will send CASH or gift certificates to the kids. No hassle. Much easier.

Yippee! Our Christmas tree will not be lonely after all this year. I would much rather you put a bow on your heads when you get off the plane next year than any other gift. We miss you so much!
Or hey, Bob, you know, have them sent directly there, you know? But going is so much easier and more merry and bright!
